Dinner time had rolled around and Jon couldn't help but smile as he looked at himself through the mirror. In just a matter of hours his body had grown it's muscles as he continued to flex is toned abs and strong arms
This seriously was so fucking cool !
"JON DINNER !" Diana had announced
Snapping from his view in the mirror Jon respond as he speed sped putting on a shirt
"COMING MOM !"
Racing downstairs Jon stopped right before he could get into eyesight as he tucked his hands in his pocket and casually walked down the stairs.
Each and everyone were doing different things
Clark was finishing the new Daily Planet news article with his glasses on yet everyone reminded him no one was around, he must be so used to it by now as he's been doing it for basically all his life. Diana was placing the plates down on the table While Lara was sharpening her blade. Sparks started to fly as she reeled the stone back more as she leaned back on the chair and it didn't take a genius to know Diana was getting pissed off about it
"Young Lady you know the rules no weapons at the dinner table"
Snatching the Amazonian weapon out of Lara's hand the woman began to groan
"Ughhhh Mom"
"Nope, you know the rules it's time for Dinner" was all Diana persisted as she laid the weapon down against the wall
The two girls continued to bicker as Jon just smirked as he approached Clark
"Hey Dad," Jon said, grabbing the man's attention. Just like always the man grew a wide grin as he faced away from his laptop
"Hey Bud ! you wanted something ?"
"Actually yeah" Jon said as he pulled up a seat next to his Father
He stuck his hand out and smiled
"Let's arm wrestle"
Immediately the whole table came to a stop as they all looked at Jon in complete and utter confusion. Clark's expression was the worst as his jaw was dropped to the floor as he slowly closed his laptop
"Umm….what ?"
Jon just kept his smirk
"Yeah, let's arm wrestle you and me right now"
Clark looked at Diana and Lara for answers but they were just as confused as he was
"Ummm"
"oh come on Dad, what you scared I'll beat you" Jon said as he immediately locked hands with his Father
Clark let out a light chuckle as he took off his Glasses stepping them on the table
"Are you sure Jon ? I don't want to-"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah come on let's go !"
Clark could tell he was weirdly excited about this as he let out a soft chuckle
"Ok, Ok…3"

Jon smirked as in quick speed his arm was quickly pinned to the table
"Welp we all knew who was gonna win that" Lara said
Jon only kept his smirk as he set up the game again
"I wasn't ready, let's go again"
"Jon sweetheart, your father isn't some game you can play with"
"It's ok Diana" Clark said, turning to Jon he smirked "alright you ready ?"
Eagerly Jon nodded his head before Clark started the countdowns

In a haste Jon slammed his Father's hand down straight through the wooden table
The plates flew and glass shattered as everything on the table practically jumped. Lara even needed to use her Super speed to catch Clark's laptop before it hit the ground
When the smoke cleared and everyone saw the damage of Clark's hand straight through the wooden table everyone except Jon's jaw was dropped to the floor as they all turned to the smiling boy
"Yo…yo….." Lara began as Jon pulled his hand back and smiled
"You…." Clark said as his face grew wide
"You…."
"MY BABY HAS HIS POWERS !" Diana shouted as she rushed to her son grabbing him in a tight hug not letting go for dear life.
Jon just laughed and smiled as he nodded his head
"Yep ! got them this afternoon, shot a laser beam into the sky"
Rising to his feet Clark couldn't be more proud and existed as he joined the hug
"AWWW ! we missed your first power, it's ok at least we still have your first flight"
Jon smirked once more as he scratched the back of his neck
"Well….." he began as he grabbed his parents sides tightly as he began to lift them into the air
Both Clark and Diana's eyes shot up as Jon just laughed
"Kinda got the whole flight things down too"
Clark and Diana shared a happy look before hugging their son once more tightly
"AHHHH WERE SO PROUD OF YOU ! IT'S YOUR FIRST DAY AND YOU ALREADY KNOW HOW TO FLY !" Diana practically squealed
Lara placed the laptop on the kitchen counter and folded her arms
"Wait wait wait, It takes me a total of 3 months to learn how to fly without crashing but you can do it in just one day ? Nope not buying it, you gotta be on some type of drug or using Magic or something where's Blake at ?"
Lowering to his feet Jon shook his head
"Sorry sis, but Blake is nowhere to be found he's with his Dad in Hell remember, and no i'm not on Platinum Kryptonite, this is all 100% me"
Lara kept his arms crossed as she smirked
"Nope not buying it"
Jon just groaned and threw his hands up
"What do I have to do to prove it"
"Race me"
Raising his eyebrow Jon was confused
"What ?"
"You heard me" Lara persisted as she opened the slider door to the backyard
"Race me from here to Hawaii"
"How would that prove-"
"CAN'T HEAR YOU ! TOo BUSY BEATING YOU !" Lara had cut him off before dashing into the air
Clark rolled his eyes
"She did always wanna go to Hawaii, ok Jon let her have her fun-"
"I'M COMING LARA !" Jon yelled with a smirk before jumping out the slider door flying into the air"
Clark and Diana shared a laugh before looking at each other
"You want to follow them ?" Clark said
Immediately Diana shook her head as he picked up the broken table with one hand
"Nope, that's the job for the Man of Steel"
Clark just smirked as he headed for the slider door
"I'll bring you back a coconut" he said before a final boom was heard flying into the air leaving Diana to only smirk
Her entire Family were Supers, it truly was an amazing night

Sleeping in his bed peacefully Jon held a smile on his face. Not because he had a good dream or anything. But because finally after 17 years he had fulfilled his dream. He Had finally done some of the things he always wanted to do if and when he got superpowers. Fly with his family. And he was happy he finally got to do it
However his happy sleeping smile soon ended when the sound of a certain voice started to make his eyes open.
"Jon, Jon, Jon my son wake up"
Rolling over to turn his back to whoever was trying to wake up him Jon murmured a few thing before falling back to sleep
Again the voice tried as Jon felt a hand on his arm
"Jon, Jon wake up"
That didn't do as Jon just murmured again and slapped the hand away.
Jon didn't hear anything from the voice again and went back to his slumber. That was until he heard a loud cling of metal and was sent flying off the bed tumbling to the ground
Immediately Jon had woken up as he began to scratch his head
"Aww man what the-"
"Ahh you're finally awake good"
In a confused manner Jon saw the pair of Amazonian armored boots. Raising his face to meet her there she was. His mother in her Wonder Woman suit.
"Umm Mom ? why are you wearing that ?"
Diana just smirked as she let out a hand to help her son up
Taking it his question was soon answered as he rose to his feet
"It's your first day of training Jon" Diana said with a smile
Jon gave the superhero a look of confusion as he scratched the back of his head some more
"What ?"
"Now that you have your powers it's time you begin your amazon training"
Jon's eyes immediately went from sleepy to happy as he rushed to grab a shirt and pair of jeans. In a flash he was back to face his mother with a bright smile on his face
"Let's get Started !"

Standing atop of a high mountain Diana and Jon were completely isolated from the world. The high breeze and height making everything below look small was a truly breathtaking sight as Jon stood proud facing his Mother
"Ok Jon what do you know about being a Hero"
"Easy beating the bad guys"
Immediately Diana shook her head
"No Jon, the first rule about being a Hero is to protect lives no matter what side you're fighting for. Good or evil you must put everyone above yourself, no matter the species, God, Animal, Human, Alien in the heat of battle everyone's safety comes before your own"
"Right"
"So with that being said here's our first training exercise"
Diana stuck her head out to point at the pile of rocks towards the mountain next to them
"Do you see those Rocks Jon"
Jon nodded his head eagerly
"Yeah"
"Good" was all Diana said before taking off her Tiara and throwing it breaking the boulder that held the pile together
Jon's eyes lit up in fear as immediately he began to float in the air ready to fly towards them.
But before he could get far Diana had came behind him grabbing him in a tight headlock in the air stopping him mid way
"AH ! MOM !"
Diana smirked as she kept her arm hold tighter
"The enemy won't let you go so easily Jon, as a hero it's up to you to be able to fight and save people at the same time"
Jon struggled as he tried to wiggle out of his mother's firm grip but it was no use as he was forced to watch the pile of rocks roll down the side of the mountain landing in a big thud to the ground.
When the dust settled Diana let go giving Jon the chance to face her
"We will try again later now, go put the rocks back to where they were and meet me near the beach to continue"
"Yes Mom" Jon replied before rushing down the rubble

Standing on the Sandy beach Jon stared at his mother as she placed her sword and Lasso down to the ground next to her boots
"Jon take off your shoes and socks"
Confused Jon raised an eyebrow
"Ok ?" he said before following her orders
Finishing her request her wiped his hands free of the sand not looking at his mothers position
"So why did i just-"
Jon was cut off as almost immediately Diana had ran up to him dropping him to the sandy ground before forcing him in a leglock
"AH ! MOM ! WHAT THE HELL !"
"Combat training Jon, if you wanna be a hero you're gonna need to learn how to fight"
Diana let go of Jon in which he winced in pain before she soon helped him to his feet
"Always be ready for a attack no matter what, you have to have your guard up all the time no matter who's around"
"Yeah, Yeah, got that thanks"
"Now" Diana started as she got in a fighting position
"Punch me"
Jon's confusion doubled even more as he shook his head
"What ?!"
Diana just smirked
"Go ahead punch me, give me your best shot"
"Mom….I can't punch you"
"Why not ?"
"Well because….your my mother ?"
"So if I was anyone else you wouldn't have a problem hitting me then"
Jon nodded his head and immediately he was met with a strong jab to the face knocking him to the ground
The young man grabbed his nose in pain and winced as he felt the blood slowly coming out
"AHHH ! MY NOSE !"
"Just because I am your mother it doesn't mean I'm immune to pain deflecting from you. Right now I am not your Mother Jonathan, I am your Teacher and trainer and you will treat me as such, You are an amazon Jon and as so you will be trained like one now get up Jon and punch me"
That was enough for Jon as he wiped his nose before getting up to his feet to immediately rush to his Mom throwing a punch.
It was blocked as Diana gave Jon another punch to his face making him reel back a little as DIana kept her fighting stance
"Your sloppy with your Punches Jon, Your already showing your move before you do them"
Again Jon rushed to his Mother giving her a swing to the face in which she ducked under it punching him in the gut making him drop to his knees
"You reeled left showing you were gonna swing a hook next them not swing left until your close to my face"
Jon was starting to get angry as he clenched his fist before dashing up to give the woman an angry Uppercut.
Of course it was dodged as Diana reeled back making him miss his hit
"Good sneak attack, less Tailgating this time"
Floating in the air Jon's first continued to be clenched as he angrily glared at his mother. Soon enough he dashed over to her again sending swing after swing in which she continued to block with her gauntlets over and over.
The sound of metal clinging echoed throughout the beach as Jon wasn't gonna quit into he sent a strike to his mother

Hours had passed and no use
Currently Jon held his hands on his knees as he took deep slow breaths to catch himself. Diana however looked unphased as she stood there watching her son. Jon's knuckles were red and bruised as his hands shook
Crossing her arms Diana began to speak
"We've been at this for over 5 hours Jon and still no signs of you hitting me"
"I know" he growled out
"I don't get it, why haven't you hit me yet ?"
"I don't know" he said wiping his sweaty forehead
"Are you scared ?"
"No"
"Do you really wanna be a hero !"
"Yes"
"THEN WHY CAN'T YOU JUST HIT ME JON !"
"I don't know"
"NOT GOOD ENOUGH TELL ME WHY !"
The burning sensation came back in Jon's eyes as he clutched his fist
"I don't know !"
"TELL ME !"
His teeth started to grit as his eyes flashed red
"I DON'T KNOW !"
"I SAID TELL ME JONATHAN !"
"I SAID I DON'T FUCKING KNOW !" Jon yelled as without thinking he in a insane speed rushed over to his mother sending a powerful strike to her face making the Amazon go flying far through the beach
Immediately his once anger and hate withered away as his eyes shot up in Horror
"MOM !" he cried out before rushing over to the damage
Flying to where he had sent her Jon found Diana in a large ditch parting the sand as she was
Laughing ?
"Mom…." Jon said as he slowly floated down to her level
Coming face to face with the woman he had Immediately rushed to hug her as tears fell from his eyes
"I'M SO SORRY ! I…I- I DIDN'T MEAN IT I-"
"Shhh, shhh, heh, It's ok Jon, I'm not mad"
Pulling away he faced his mother giving her full view of his teary face
"Really ?"
Diana just nodded her head as she took his face in her hands
"No honey, I'm not mad. Im proud, so very proud of you look"
She took off her Tiara to give Jon a look at her bleeding forehead causing a small smile to grow on his face
"I….I….I HIT YOU ! I REALLY HIT YOU ! SERIOUSLY I LANDED A HIT ON YOU ! AND MADE YOU BLEED !"
With a bright smile Diana nodded her head
"You did, and I couldn't be more proud of you it took Lara days before she could even land a hit on me so you know what this shows"
Diana took her sons face in her hands and smiled
"It shows your strength and potential Jon, it shows the true amazon spirit within you, and it shows you can definitely pack a punch"
Jon let out a small laugh as his mother kissed his forehead
"But you must remember to keep calm during the heat of battle, we may be gods but were still just as human as everyone else, you know who taught me that"
"Who ?"
Rising to her feet Jon followed her as they made their way back to their dropped items
"A very wise man and the greatest person I've ever known"
"Soloman ?"
Diana just chuckled as she shook her head
"No, this man is different, he's tall and strong and very powerful, yet very kind and loving, he wears a cape and has a S on his chest you may know him"
Jon just rolled his eyes not catching Diana's smirk
"You could've just said Dad"
"But then teasing you wouldn't have been as fun" Diana replied with a laugh
The two began to grab their discarded gear on the beach and right as Jon was putting on his socks and shoes Diana's communications lync went off
"Wonder Woman, come in Wonder Woman"
Bringing a finger to her ear Diana began to speak
"This is Wonder Woman"
"Trouble in Atlantis, Arthur requires assistance"
Due to his super hearing Jon grew a wide smile as he continued to eavesdrop the conversation
"Right, I'm on my way, be there in 5 minutes"
Not even a second after Diana let go of her comms Jon bursted up in eagerness
"CAN I COME !"
Chuckling at her sons eagerness Diana placed a hand on his shoulder
"Sorry Jon but this is league business"
"Aww come on Mom, this will be good practice for when I truly become a hero"
"What about your training ? were only on day 1 you still have ways to go"
"I know but-"
"No But's young man, once you complete your training then we shall talk about on hand missions but for now I need you to go home and clean up you drench of sweat and sand and smell like a fish"
"Hahahaha, ok Mom, but be safe"
Diana smiled and nodded her head
"I will"
With a final hug Jon watched as his Mother placed her sword into its holster and wrapped her lasso together before flying off towards the sea leaving him on the beach

Turning to the TV he watched the news broadcast display the fight above Atlantis. Black Manta and Ocean Master for some reason teamed up ? and Aquaman and Aquaboy were currently fighting the two as the League handled the regime of soldiers they had
"I don't know how Aruthur does it ? his Dad is Aquaman yeah, but being a prince to a whole city that's underwater ? that's true pressure, well it's not like Andrina isn't there to help him"
Arthur Curry Jr and Andrina "Andy" Curry the Children of Aquaman and Queen Merra. These two are definitely different to say the least. It was no secret that at a point in time the Amazons and the Atlanteans were at war with one another. Thankfully though the rivalry withered away as Jon's Mother and Aruthr and Andrina's Father are great friends of course so there was no bridge in the 3 childrens childhood as they are all close friends. It just boggles Jon's mind how much history both their families' cultures share. Arthur's always been adventures and wild. Nothing gets his blood pumping like a good fight as his genes kicked in earlier than expected. Definitely his Father's child as everyone says he looks exactly like him with his golden hair and tall muscular figure. He has personal beef with Black Manta as he was kidnapped as a child and was almost killed by him. He's the same man who gave him his scar across his eye when he was 3 and he's had it ever since. But that doesn't stop him from being the life of any party. Andrina is different. She's like her Mother looks and all. She's more kind and peaceful than Aruthur. More of a pacifist most of the time except when she's needed not to be. Very beautiful too, the sight of her just makes Jon go red….moving on to sum it up these two are definitely close friends of Jon as he is no stranger to them. Their practically family to him well besides Jake and his actual family of course
Finishing the pizza slice Jon had picked up his phone as he walked towards the box to get another one while scrolling through his phone.
He remembered something Victoria said during class, That Uncle Dick was supposed to be opening some type of Rec Center this evening in Blüdhaven.
Jon smirked at the thought that maybe he could swing by and check it out as no one really knows he has his powers no besides his family of course.
Just as Jon thought about the scenario soon enough the news article was on his phone
Mayor Richard Grayson of Blüdhaven will be opening the City Rec Center this evening
The event was supposed to start at 5 and it was currently 4:50 so with a simple tv change with the remote Jon saw the news reporting covering the event. She wasn't talking as the event didn't start yet and everyone was setting up and it really started to bug Jon. He wishes he knew what they were talking about or any info going into this thing.
Slumping on the couch he sighed before his brian immediately flickered with an Idea
'Wait ! super hearing, duh !'
Closing his eyes Jon took a deep breath and focused on what part of the world he wanted to hear. Clark always warned Jon about how dangerous his super hearing could be. How he could be overloaded with the simplest things and how much it could hurt if he slipped up and heard everything at once. And Jon actually licked being sane so he took the warning full handly. He continued to block out everything in the world and circled in on just Blüdhaven
At first he winced in pain as he heard everyone talking and the car alarms and animal noises. But blocking everything out he focused on the Buildings opening vicinity. The podium and stage were built for Uncle Dick's speech. And soon enough Jon flashed a smile as he heard the reporter's voice.
"I could have stayed home today but nope, I got stuck reporting on this grand opening. Walter better be lucky the Mayor is cute, shame he's married and has kids but it's whatever…"

Listening to different voices and conversations felt kinda weird to Jon as it was originally not his business. But he would be lying if he didn't say it was kinda interesting to hear the different dialogue and topics throughout peoples life. Everyone had different problems, complaints, situations. And it was just fascinating to Jon on how he could listen to all of them it was

Jumping to his feet a shiver ran down Jon's spine as his eyes were wide
'Someone is planning on assassinating uncle Dick !' Jon thought to himself
Pacing back and forth he tightly gripped his thick black ahri as he had no clue what to do
"Mom, Dad and Lara are dealing with the Atlantis situation, I can't call them, their too busy, Jayden and Mary are too busy getting ready for the event AHH DAMMIT !"
Jon didn't know what to do, he was stuck. He couldn't just let his uncle get shot like this. NO HE COULDN'T. BUT EVERYONE WAS BUSY !
Looking down at his hands Jon balled his fist tightly as he took some deep slow breathes
"Breathe Jon Breathe, remember what mom said"

A shiver ran down his spine as that was all It took for the young man to fall back down in his chair and stay quiet
Dick once more laughed before a man came backstage grabbing everyone's attention
"Mr Mayor, there ready for you"
Shooting out his chair Dick nodded his head
"Great"
Jayden Mary and Barbra all got up out there chairs and followed the man
"Ok guys just like we rehearsed a few smiles waves I finish my speech cut the ribbon and-"
"And then we go home" Jayden said cutting Dick off only to be met by a jab to the side by Mary
"Oww"
"Yes Jayden, then we can go home" Dick said as he ruffled with his sons red hair
"no..Dad ! my hair"
Jayden attempted to smack away his father's hand but the movement only fueled Dick's laughter even more
"I would like to bring out the Mayor of this great city"
The family heard their que to come on so with a final proper to their clothing Dick was the first to walk from backstage
Immediately cameras and lights flashed to Dick's face. He's been used to the paparazzi and fame of course as he just smiled and waved as he made his way to the podium
Right as Dick made the podium Barbara came out with another formal smile and wave before she took her seat behind her husband
Due to the cheers and claps no one noticed when Barbara put an earpiece into her ear hidden behind her hair.
Next Jayden and Mary came from backstage smiling and waving as they scanned the crowd with their hidden contacts and glasses. Looking upon the sea of people they all read files on each and every person before sitting down right next to their mother
"Find anything" Dick whispered behind another smile and wave to the crowd
"No, everyone is clean, the shooter isn't in the crowd he has to be hidden somewhere" Mary said as she fixed her glasses
"Jayden use the contacts to scan the buildings while the speech is given, if the shooter is hiding somewhere it's most likely one of the buildings"
"Got it Dad"
Following his Father's demand Jayden began to look away from the crowd of people into the buildings in the background as one by one he checked the buildings as Dick started his speech
"Hello Citizens of Blüdhaven, on behalf of me and city hall, I would like to present to you the opening of the Blüdhaven Rec Center !"
A giant sheet was pulled down revealing the building rec center that took over 6 months to build. It was fairly huge with everything a rec center would have. Swimming area, Basketball court, tennis court, soccer field etc etc. But what made this place special was that it was also a homeless shelter
Pulling closer to the Mic Dick let the echoes die down before he continued
"This has been a project that has been in development for some time now, over 100 Great and hard working Men have put there blood sweat and tears into this Rec Center and I would just like to give them a round of applause for a second for all the great work they done"
The crowd began to clap and cheer, giving Jayden the time he needed to continue his scan. He was halfway done with his search and still no sign of the shooter
"If you know my History and my family then you should know why I made the choice of adding the Homeless shelter to the Center, as you know I was adopted by Bruce Wayne, in fact so were my fellow brothers and my 2 sisters. I lost my parents at a young age and ever since it's scarred me for the rest of my life. I still remember when I first moved to Blüdhaven, when I saw how broken the city was. How desperate and in need it was for someone to step up and lead it out of darkness. I saw children hungry and cold out on the streets stealing to get by. Criminals acting like this city is their personal playground-"
After what felt like hours of searching Jayden finally locked in on someone
"Found him, Brown colored apartment building neon sign"
Pressing a finger to her comms Barbara nodded her head
"Got it, Dick Jayden found him"
Dick continued on with his speech but everyone knew that he heard them as they all feel back into formal posture as Dick was wrapping up his speech
"So without any further delay-"
A man handed Dick a pair of giant golden scissors making Dick turn around to face the blue ribbon

Immediately Dick was grabbed out of the way flying onto the nearby ground below as everyone in the area ducked in screamed
A swarm of men in black suits and black sunglasses surrounded the area as Immediately they latched on to Jayden, Mary and Barbra
"TAKE THE FAMILY AND GET THEM SOMEWHERE SAFE ! WHERE'S THE MAYOR ?!"
Dick groaned as he shook his head sitting up to rest his hands on the back on the ground of the stage
Confused Dick saw the view of someone with black out goggles covering their eyes. A plain black shirt and blue jeans on with what looked like some sort of red cape material that wasn't strong at all
Removing the goggles Dick got a good look at the person's face making him go wide eyed
"Jon ?"
The young man shook his head as he slowly started to wake up
"I really have to learn how to slow down….owww"
Dick was in complete confusion
"Jon….did you just…..fly ?"
"Yep….and clearly I have more learning to do" the young man said as the two slowly got to their feet
Handing the young man his goggles back Dick was in the utter most confusion as he couldn't even speak
"Ho…wa…..s…..HUH !"
Jon just put his goggled back on and grabbed his uncle's arm
"No time to explain, uncle Dick, just try not to barf"
"Try not to wa-"
In a haste the 2 were super sped to a nearby alleyway
Jon let go of Dick who tried his hardest to keep his stomach in check. Raising a finger up on stepped back as it showed he needed a minute
"Sorry, still getting used to this whole powers thing"
"It's ok" Dick choked out before he took a deep breath and shook his head to get his mind right again
Turing to face the young man he got another look at what he was wearing and smiled
"Im guess Clark and Diana haven't gotten you a super suit yet ?"
Jon smirked
"Nope not yet, well I haven't even finished my training really I just finished day one, The cape I got from Lara's curtains hence why it's so short, the goggles are actually swimming goggles and these are my clothes"
"HA ! it's ok Jon, we all start somewhere, before Burce let me even touch the Robin suit i wore a hoodie and jeans with face paint"
"I wouldn't even truly be here if it wasn't for my super hearing. I heard someone was planning on trying to kill you during your speech and Mom and Dad are busy so I knew I had to do something !"
Dick just held his smile and softly laughed
"Jon"
"Yeah"
"I know"
Raising an eyebrow Jon's eyes lit up
"WHAT !"
Again Dick let out a laugh as he nodded his head
"Yep, I know, that's the main reason I made today so public so I could draw out the shooter, I was gonna dodge the bullet before it hit me but lucky for me I had a guardian angel looking out for me this entire time"
Jon felt embarrassed as his cheeks turned red
"Aww man" Jon said as buried his face into his eyes
"I totally just botched a mission didn't I"
"Yeah you did" Dick said with a laugh "but"
Dick placed a hand on the young man's shoulder and softly smiled
"What you did was very heroic, and I'm glad to see your hearts in the right place, makes me feel safer that we'll have a new hero in this world"
Jon formed a smile that didn't last long as he heard the spike in Dick's ear
"Hey Dad"
"Hold on Jon, gotta take this, Yes princess"
"Jayden and Mom are in pursuit with the shooter he had accomplice with him white van heading towards downtown"
"Right, tell them I'm on my way….and I'm not alone"
Jon's face lit up with excitement as Dick just gave him a wink
"Who's coming with you ?"
"Uhhh, let's just say it's a friend"
"Ok then, sending your bike to your location with you gear"
Looking back at Jon Dick smiled
"Ready for your first mission"
Placing his goggles over his eyes Jon nodded his head
"Hell yeah !"

Racing down the streets of Blüdhaven Nightwing followed Oracle's directions as Jon followed right behind him
"Where too Mary"
"You can cut him off by taking the alleyway coming up"
"Got it"
Taking a hard left nightwing went straight through the alleyway as he began to see the white van in the distance
"Now take a left on Halter street"
"Got it"
Doing as the 17 year old said again Nightwing took a left turn as Jon followed right behind him
"So Jon has powers now ? about time, I almost thought he was gonna be powerless forever"
"She does know I can hear her right ?"
Dick smirked
"He can hear you you know, super hearing and all that Mar"
"Ohhh, right, sorry Jon, dad take a right"
Nightwing and Jon turned right and immediately they spotted the white van coming straight towards them down the street.
"Jon you handle getting people out the way, on my signal lift the van, Mary take control of the bike when I get off"
"What are you gonna do ?" Jon asked
"I got the guys in the van" Dick responded before revving the motorcycle back up
Zooming off Jon began to scout the streets below as immediately he saw an old lady crossing the street making his eyes go wide
In the blink of an eye he rushed past her getting her to the other side
"Are you ok Ma'am"
"Ohh my goodness yes, thank you young man"
Jon just nodded his head and smiled
"No problem, stay safe" he said before flying off
"Babs, Jayden. What's your position ?" Dick said as he looked back at the upcoming van
"Trailing behind them Dad, on the other note, who's the guy in the cape ?"
"Jon"
"Jon ?" Batgirl repeated "like Jonathan ? Jon"
"Yep, his powers finally kicked in, he saved me from the bullet and everything"
"Wow and he's wearing that ?"
"Easy Nightdog, need I remind you what your first superhero costume was"
Jayden rolled his eyes as he deployed his line launcher from his bike locking onto the van
"It's Nighthound, for one, and two it was a training suit not the real thing, tuff talk for someone behind a computer"
"And this person behind a computer can control your bike doggy, so play nice"
"Kids" Dick warned stopping their bickering
Out of the blue a gunmen inside of the van stuck their head out of the window and began to open fire on Jayden
The young man just smirked as he pulled out a shuriken from his utility belt chucking it at the man's hand making him drop the gun
"You know I think it's about time I make my own throwables, I'm tired of using Shuriken's I mean there cool and all but I wanna make my own mark, like Dad didn't you have Birdarang's when
you were Robin and Mom has her own Batarang's so why can't I finally have something of my own"
"What are you gonna call it Nighthoundarangs" Batgirl said with a laugh as she mimicked her sons past movement and attached to the truck
"No, But I definitely wanna stop using Shuriken's"
"A big step in making your own throwing stars is naming them, It can't be something dumb or it won't sound right, like your father made the poor choice of calling his Wing-Ding's"
"Hey" Dick said as he did a backflip off his bike onto the top of the Van
"Wing-Ding is not a stupid name"
"Honey, yes it is"
"No it's not, right Mar-"
"It's stupid Dad"
"Ohh, but J-"
"It's pretty lame"
"You know what you 2 are grounded"
"WHAT !" the two siblings said in unison
"Yep, you're both grounded until you like the name"
Doing a cartwheel off the roof nightwing held onto the side of the van as he came face to face with the window
"Hello sir, It seems like you breaking the law here so i'm gonna need you to pull over please"
"GET OUT OF HERE YOU FREAK !" the man yelled before swinging a punch out the window
Of course nightwing dodged it as he appeared again
"That's not nice at all, in fact you know what hold this"
Throwing a smoke bomb in the car nightwing pulled up to the roof of the van once more
"HEY JON !"
Helping another citizen move out the way the young man looked back at the sight
"YEAH !"
"NOW !"
"OH OK !"
"Babs, Jay you guys might wanna unhook from the van" DIck warned the two in which they listened as their grapples returned to their bikes
As they pulled back they saw the sight of Jon beginning to lift the van up into the air making their jaws drop
"Didn't he just start training today ?" Barbara said making Jayden nod his head
"Apprently…."
Dick smirked as he opened up the car door
"Alright bad guys single file line come on"
Jon couldn't help but smile at the fact that he had performed his first mission and it was a success ! definitely another one of the coolest days of his life

"Oh don't be silly Jon, that was a amazing very helpful of you"
Jon nodded and smiled at his aunt's reassurance before they engulfed in a hug
"You did good Jon, especially for your first mission. Very impressive"
"Thanks Uncle Dick, sorry again for messing up your mission"
"Ehh it's fine, it happens we still won and you helped saved civilians that's all that matters"
"Right"
"Gotta say bro for this being your first day i'm impressed, not a lot of people would've been cool under your pressure but you handled it like a champ respect" Jayden said as he stuck out his fist
Jon laughed as they clashed fist
"Wish I could say goodbye to Mary bu-"
"Oh I've been here"
Jon's eyes shot up as he began to look around but Jayden just tapped him on the shoulder and revealed his wrist. A holographic screen appeared from his gauntlet showing Mary
"And i must say Jon good job, granted you were sloppy uncoordinated and almost jeopardize the mission good job"
Letting out a faint chuckle Jon smiled
"Thanks Mary, and thank you all for the awesome mission ! even if i wasn't supposed to be in it heh"
"Anytime Jon"
With a final smile and wave Jon leaped into the air and flew off leaving the family on the rooftop

The sun was already starting to come down and Jon took a deep sigh as he closed the door to enter the house
He never knew he would've felt this exhausted before but man he was beat
He placed the goggles down on the kitchen counter. They had sadly crackled in the midst of everything and the once cape he had wrapped around his neck was torn to shreds but alias everything was great
AHEM
A shiver ran down Jon's spine as he slowly turned around to see Diana Clark and Lara glaring at him. He didn't even notice the TV was on showing the camera view of him lifting the Van back in Blüdhaven
"A-"
"Was that you" Clark said in a stern voice
"You see-"
"Answer your father Jon" Diana said
Scratching the back of his neck nervously Jon chuckled
"Hehehe….yeah…"
In blazing speed Clark and Diana raced to hug the young man as they both pampered his face with kisses
"YOU WERE AMAZING !"
"WE SAW EVERYTHING ! THE WAY YOU KEPT AFTER EVERYONE BEFORE YOURSELF ! THE WAY YOU PROTECTED DICK ! AND YOU LIFTED A VAN ! A VAN !"
Lara just chuckled and crossed her arms
"Apparently this entire family had a truly eventful day" she said and Jon could only smile and hug his parents back
