Chapter 4: A Day at Coop De Ville

The next day, we all met up at Coop De Ville in the Strip District for a day of fun and games. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. We jammed out to NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Kate Bush, and Lizzo prior to our day of fun. "I have not played pool since I was in 8th grade," Carly stated. "Pool is a really easy game to play," Spencer stated. "Yes, I certainly have not played pool in ages," Mr. Benson agreed. "Pool is definitely one of the things that I want to try here," Alex agreed. "Then, we can play duck pin bowling." "Okay," I agreed. "I mentioned how my hobby is music, but I am not a very good bowler," Alex admitted. "It takes practice." "It takes practice to learn music, too," Justin reminded us. "We had to practice a lot for our Christmas concert," Max stated. After duck pin bowling, we played some arcade games. "I love all of their choices for games," James happily stated. "If only they had baseball or other sport-type games, huh?" "Well, seeing a real baseball game would be much more fun than watching a baseball game on a video screen since I didn't come to the game with you three," Henri stated. Finally, we got something to eat. Food ranged from chicken and fries to cookies. "I got a big bottle of lemonade with a cup and some ice, just like what we sold back on that unseasonably hot day in spring," I explained to my friends. "I didn't help sell lemonade because one, it was too hot, and two, I had to work on geography homework," Sarah recalled. "Plus, the food here is very big, and we should get a kids' entree next time we come here, just like how I get a Happy Meal at McDonald's. Alex would strongly recommend that for us, right?" "Right, Angel," Alex agreed. "She sure would." Then, Carly, Alex, Sarah, and I headed over to play a game of Uno. Then, Sarah tried Abigail's decorations, Alex tried Hannah's crescent sandwich roll-ups, and Carly tried Samantha's rock and roll ice cream. Pretty soon, it was time for all of us to leave. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Alex replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
