Jon didn't even try to stop and slow down, only speed up.
Flying through oceans and across buildings flying past Windows and shattering glass it didn't take long for Jon to get to the Hall of Justice where he heard the news
Wiping the tears from his eyes Jon continued to rush his way through the building heading to the med bay hoping praying this was just some sick joke or it wasn't as bad as people made it to be.
But when he heard the faint Monitor bleeps and saw his Aunt Dinah and Uncle Oliver with Conner looking through a class window Jon's heart almost dropped
The loud whoosh and gust of wind caught their attention as they looked over to see his tearful face or worry and scarceness. Jon felt like he was hyperventilating as he found it harder to breathe more and more.
Dinah and Oliver took no time as they rushed over to embrace him in a hug as Jon sadly already knew it was true letting his tears fall.

There they laid. Jon could see it all. The Bruises and Broken bones. His Mom's fractured Jaw. His own Father's Chest wrapped in Bandages because of the holes piercing through his chest.
Jon and Lara wanted to cry. More than they already did as they were forced to watch as their Mother and Father, the two strongest beings on the planet were in a deepening Coma.
They've never seen them this hurt before. To be honest they've never seen them hurt before. In all of Lara's years of being by her parents side she's always seen her Parents get back up. But this…this was different
Jon was worse
As he kneeled next to his Mother's bed holding her hand softly every second he saw his Mom like this it only fueled his anger more
"I promise Mom, when I find the person who did this to you…." a tear rolled down his cheek forcing him to wipe his eyes "i'm gonna kill them" was all he could say before his tears let loose again
Lara was bad too. As she looked at her badly injured Father she began to tear up as she pressed a soft kiss to his forehead
"Get better Dad"

The news about the League spread quickly as soon enough all the heroes were all at the Hall of Justice all saden by the news.
Looking through the 8 individual Hospital rooms where the heroes were confined to a million thoughts ran through everyone's mind and they all soon wanted to find out who did this. But out of respect for their families that could wait.

Helena and Selina sat next to Bruce's bedside sadly as Selina didn't want to let go of her husband's hand.
Trying to fight her own tears Helena foguth a tough face like her father always told her to do
"Be Strong, Don't reveal your weakness" Helena thought as she wiped the tears from her face
Soon enough the door to Bruce's room opened revealing Dick, Barabra, Jayden, Mary, Tim, Stephanie, Gwen their 16 year old daughter, Duke and Luke
They all barred sadden looks on their faces as their hearts ached to see Bruce like this in a comma. Seeing him injured and hurt isn't new but they haven't seen him this hurt ever since Bane broke his back
"How is he ?" Dick asked
"Red Tornado patched him up as best as he could but he couldn't get all his damages"
"How bad is he ?"
Selina sighed sadly as they all watched a tear roll down her face
"Mom"
"He has burns…..some broken bones….he's just in bad shape…."
Everyone could hear the fear in Selina's voice
"Jason and Damian had business to handle but they texted me saying their working non stop to find out who did this" Barabra said
Everyone sat in silence examining Bruce's body all thinking the same thing

A gathering and meeting was met with the other League members the ones that weren't in a critical coma as Oliver, Dinah, Tornado, Hakwman, Atom, Black lightning and more were grouped up in the private wing of the Hall
"We need to find out who did this and make them pay !" Jefferson persisted as he slammed his fist on the table erupting a rage of black and blue lighting
"I fully agree with Jefferson" Hawkman persisted "whoever this common threat is they are dangerous and not just that they are powerful. They took down 7 of the League's strongest members all at once"
"So what's your plan, even if you find the person that did this you just wanna charge at them and demand they give us answers" Ryan Choi said
"Mr Choi is correct. Even if we knew this common threat by my calculations we don't have the skill nor the power to face this threat only leading to our doom"
Clicking his teeth and sighing John Stewart held a finger over his bearded face as he began to think.
Dinah took easy notice of this as she turned to the Lantern
"What are you thinking, John ?"
John sighed as he plopped his hands to the table
"Well there is a way we could figure out who did this…." John said but immediately Dinah shut down his idea
"NO ! NO HELL NO ! WERE NOT GOING TO USE LARA'S GIFT TO FIND OUT HOW THE LEAGUE GOT INJURED !"
"Dinah"
"JOHN ! THE YOUNG GIRL IS CURRENTLY WATCHING HER PARENTS SLIP AWAY IN A COMA AND YOU WANT HER TO IMMEDIATELY JUMP IN HELPING FIND THE PERSON WHO DID THIS !"
"If I may cut it" Ryan said "Ms Kent's Lasso would be truly useful in this certain predicament as she could go one by one searching who injured the League-"
"WERE NOT DOING IT ! I MEAN…..AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THIS IS INSANE ! TORNADO ?"
The robot only spoke with his normal emotionless face
"Taking in the countability of Ms Kent's current situation…..Her ability and usage of the Lasso of Thoughts is truly the only way we could know what happened"
Dianh's fist grew into a tight grip as she slammed her fist on the table
"YOU ALL CAN'T BE SERIOUS RIGHT NOW !"
"Dinah" Oliver began making his wife look at him
"I hate the plan as much as you do but if we wanna stop this threat we need to know how it happened"
"Oliver"
She couldn't believe this. Her own husband of all people is deciding in such a horrible act not only 2 hours after they found out about this
"Dinah you know the rules, All League decisions have to go through a vote is it's disagreed upon" Hawkgirl sighed
Dinah only glared angrily as Ryan Choi spoke
"Ok then, with the certain comings of the situation at hand The Justice League shall have a vote. All those in favor of using Lara Martha Kent, Aka Superwoman's Lasso of Truth to find the culprit who did this raise your hand"
WIth that Ryan Choi, Black lighting, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Red Tornado, Captain Atom and with a sad glare to Dinah Green Arrow raised their hands making the vote unanimous
"You people are unbelievable" Dinah growled
"It's chosen. We will give Lara some time but in a hour we shall ask her to do what must be done"
With all that was going on the Adults failed to catch the 17 year old Conner Lance-Queen who was leaned against a wall in the shadows with his arms crossed listening to the whole conversation before he disappeared

Sitting in their parents' Hospital Room Jon and Lara tried to keep a strong face like their parents would've wanted.
But when the door opened revealing the other heroes they knew something was happening
"Jon, Lara. We are deeply sorry for what happened to your parents and we want you to know were Immediately beginning our search to find who did this. But Lara we're gonna need your help"
The two siblings looked up at the adults
"...what do you mean ?" Lara asked as she wiped her tears
"I think it would be best if we talked outside" Ryan Choi added
Looking at her Comatosed parents once more Lara nodded as she got up
"Yeah….yeah ok"
Jon too got up but was stopped by Red Tornado
"We only Require your sister Jonathan"
Jon had to admit it did sting but he simply just sat back down
"Ohh….ok yeah sure"
Soon enough the door closed leaving Jon in the room again with his parents
"I know your here Conner"
Emerging from the shadows Conner sighed
"Hey man"
Connor Lance-Queen. In all his glory with his shining blue eyes and bright golden hair. You definitely don't want to piss him off as his sonic scream is as deadly as his aim with a bow and arrow. Besides Jake Connor was what Jon would refer to as his best friend. Sure they were polar opposites but Connor always made him feel better when he didn't have his powers. Plus Jon always found Conner cool
Getting up from his chair immediately the two engaged in a hug
"I'm so sorry about what happened with your parents. I can't even begin to comprehend how I would feel if that was my parents"
"Thanks Conner" Jon said as they reeled back from the hug
The two went back to looking at Clark and Diana in their critical state as Conner sighed
"Who do you think could've done this ?"
"I have my thoughts. But all I know is whoever it is. I'm gonna tear them to shreds limb by limb"
"Well if you need anything man i'm here. Seriously you're not alone in this. I'm here to help"
Looking back at Conner Jon smiled
"Thanks Con"
Conner smiled back

"So. what's been going on in your life" Lucy asked as she continued to paint Victoria's nails
"Well besides moving in with my Mom nothing much. How about you"
"Same old same old. Mom's been keeping me locked in the house more. And Aunt Ivy has been teaching me about plants"

Lucy looked up at Victoria and smirked

The two girls chuckled before Lucy went back to painting Victoria's nails
Lucy Quinzel, daughter of Harley Quinn. Besides her punk rock look She was a fairly stable person. Nothing like her mother…sometimes. Lucy definitely had a habit for trouble as she likes to start a crap ton of fights and chaos mainly because her Mom keeps her trapped in the house all day. And Lucy never understood why either. All her life she felt like a prisoner for some reason like she wasn't allowed to even know what outside was. Maybe it's because her Mother was an ex criminal and so was her aunt/Step Mother. Or maybe because she lived for chaos and fighting.
Or maybe it's because Victoria caught a glimpse of the bright green hair hidden behind her sea of dyed blonde hair as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear
The sound of Lucy's door being open caught the two 17 year old girls attention as it revealed to be Victoria's dad in his Red Hood outfit and to Lucy's ever more surprise her mom in her Harley Quinn outfit along with her Aunt Ivy in her normal green jacket and pants
"Little over dressed don't you think Dad"
Jason chuckled
"Yeah we're just going for a patrol run nothing too serious"
"OH ! A PATROL RUN ! SWEET CAN I CO-"
"Nope" Harley said immediately cutting her off
"You girls stay here it's safer that way"
Immediately Lucy sank back on the floor and pouted
"We won't be out long don't worry, and when we get back we can have some fun"
"Like what play another board game" Lucy mumbled under her breathe
Harley wanted to say something but time was ticking so ultimately the 3 said their goodbyes before leaving

All the other adults continued to look at her
"Now Lara we know this is hard and we will give you all the time you ne-"
"I'll do it" she said completely catching everyone off guard

"I said I'll do it. I need to find the asshole that did this to my parents and personally kick their ass to high heavens so this seems like the only way. I'll do it"
Everyone was rather satisfied with her answer as they felt like it would take more to convince Lara but she just continued to grip her Lasso Tighter
"But the process is gonna take a while. It's easier to read one's mind while they're conscious and active. But when everyone's in a coma"
"You''ll be cycling through their memories until you land on it" Ryan Choi said in which Lara nodded her head
"Most of my time is gonna be spent here at the Hall and I need someone to watch over Jon. He shouldn't be alone at a time like this so I'm gonna drop him off at Aunt Lois and Uncle Jimmy's house before I start the process
Placing a gentle hand on her shoulder Dinah smiled
"Take all the time you need. No one's rushing you, you need time to recover too ok"
Lara just shook her head in agreement

With a simple kick Jason broke the door down as Him, Ivy and Harley all began their detour into Ace Chemicals
"Well would you look at that. Muscle does help" Harley quipped
The place had obviously been ransacked it didn't take a genius to notice that as already the stages that held the acid chemicals had the room filled with broken glasses and spilled chemicals
"Well looks like our suspicions were right. Someone used the lab" Ivy began as she started to tie up her hair
"If I can find some of the mixture's residue I can get some sort of match on who would be smart enough to make this kind of compound. You two stay here and Jason make sure Harley dosne't do anything stupid"
Looking over to Harley who was poking at broken glass with her bat Jason nodded his head before Ivy walked off
It didn't take long for Jason to catch up with Harley as he immediately grabbed her arm stopping her from touching the spilled chemical
"Ok spill, what's going on with you and Lucy" Jason began and by the face Harley made he knew something was up
"Nothing Bird Boy"
"You haven't called me Bird Boy since I was in green and red. Now I definitely know somethings up spill"
Harley sighed as she crossed her arms the leather from her black and red jacket began to skim against her
"She's getting older that's the problem"
Jason just let out a laugh through his red mask
"What ?"
"She's getting older. So with that she's getting more aware"
"Aware of ?"
"Aware of everything, Her personality, her captivity, Gotham…"
Harley sighed
"Her hair"
Even though Jason's eyes were covered through the red lenses of the domino mask Harley could still see his eyes shooting up
"What is she saying ?"
"She's often wondering why we have to re-dye her hair every couple of months. Or why she can't go to normal school or even step outside for that matter"
A sigh escaped the clowns lips as she leaned back against the acid tank
"It was so much easier when she was little. Such she would listen to every word I would say. But now I have to find excuses for her to listen and it's really starting to irritate me"
Jason couldn't help but feel sorry for Harley as he truly didn't have a word to help
"Ja what if….what is she snaps and turns out like-"
"No" Jason immediately said cutting her off
"Lucy is nothing like him, not even a little. She's kind and sweet and actually funny all the opposites he possessed"
Jason took Harley's hands in his forcing her to look up at him
"Harley, look. I've seen you raise Lucy. She's a wonderful little girl. So what if she's curious what it's like to experience the outside world at some point every kid is. And It may be hard but knowing that you're doing all this to protect her will make it all worth it in the end. And maybe at some point when she gets older you can tell her but for now just stay strong. If you can deal with that psycho's DNA inside of you for 9 months than you can deal with this too"
A smile formed on Harley's face as she chuckled
"Actually I was pregnant with Lucy for 10 months old girl didn't want to leave Mama"
"Harley just shut up and hug me already"
It didn't take long for Harley to jump up tightly hugging Jason with a smile

"Jon. Please…..please don't argue with me on this" she sighed as she took a seat
Immediately the once tense anger Jon felt withered away as he saw his sister slowly break down
Lara took off her Tiara sighing as she buried her face in her hands as the tears began to flow
"I can't take care of you if I'm stuck here trying to help mom and dad. With Superman and Wonder Woman out of condition Metropolis is gonna be left vulnerable and I need to make sure Superwoman can pick up the leftover slack and I can't do that if I have to watch over you Jon so please….please just cooperate with me here"
Jon was in complete shock
Never once has he seen his sister like this. always the golden one that has all the answers. Never once has she been this broken before. Usually she was the one to comfort him
Jon kneeled down to his sister's level and took her sad face from her hands forcing her to look at him
"I'm sorry…I….Im just so angry that I didn't even begin to think about what you have on your plate right now. I'll do it. I spend as much time as you want me too at Aunt Lois and Uncle Jimmy's so you can work here. I'll tell tell the school you took up that abroad program so you don't have to worry about school either"
Lara sadly smiled as she couldn't' stop the tears rolling from her face
"No, no Lara don't cry" Jon said as he immediately hugged his sister only making her cry more
"I'm scared Jon god, I'm so scared. What if Mom and Dad never wake up"
Jon only hugged her harder
"They will. We just have to be there for each other until they do"
Lara only continued to cry as Jon strongly kept it together holding her together

Jason and Harley continued to wait around Ace Chemicals as Ivy finished up her work
Harley was playing with 2 beakers clashing them together like a scientist while Jason tried to look over the crime scene in order of any clues
Of course the place was squeaky clean the only thing being left is some spilled residue from the chemicals and broken glass and needles so obviously the mystery man was smart
It wasn't until Harley broke some clash causing Jason to turn back as she just laughed it off
"Oops" she said before giggling making Jason groan
"Harley please be more careful with this place Bruce does technically own it"
"Oh I can tell by the fancy glasses with the Wayne logo on it"
Immediately Jason's attention was caught as he turned back to her
"What ?"
Harley just pointed to the test tubes and beakers left in the box untouched catching Jason's eyes as he made his way towards them
Harley saw as Jason's attention was grabbed so obviously so was hers as she just jumped on his back and joined him as he examined the untouched supplies
Using his mask Jason scanned the glasses for fingerprints and to his surprise they came up
"Clean ? the Supplies are clean ? untouched even"
Slumping her head on his shoulder Harley was confused as well
"Well that doesn't make sense ? why would that stuff be untouched but the normal supplies were left clean ? Is our Mystery man a fan of Bat Brian's company ?"
"Our he knows Bruce is Batman" Jason growled as he remembered the dark figure mentioning Jason's mentor put up more of a fight
Right then Ivy came back with some sort of green liquid in a tube and a smile on her face
"Alright it was a hassle but I was able to make an actual DNA sample from the ingredients here. Now all we have to do is head back to the lab pop this bad boy in and we'll have a match"
Hopping off Jason's back immediately Harley ran up to give her wife a kiss on the cheek
"Aww babe ! you are so smart !"
Jason took the tube from Ivy's hands and sighed
"One step closer to wrapping up this mystery now all we h-"
In a blink of an eye a plant sprouted from the ground moving Jason out the way before quickly grabbing hold of a table that was thrown at him making everyone jump
"What the hel-" Harley began but was cut off when she just randomly got thrown into a wall
"HARLEY !" Jason and Ivy yelled as they rushed too her
Ivy took her hand helping her too her feet as she placed a hand on her cheek
"Are you ok ?" Jason asked
"I just got thrown into a wall dipshit what to you think" she groaned as she touched the bleeding cut on her forehead
"What threw you ?" Ivy asked but before Harley could respond Jason got pulled to the ground before he got chucked getting thrown right at a acid tank
"OK SERIOUSLY WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON !" Harley yelled as she pulled forth her baseball bat and started to swing in the air
"ARE WE FIGHTING A GHOST !"
Ivy felt a tingle inside of her Jacket and groaned before releasing a neurotoxin within her sleeve immediately making the trio hear a sneeze making them freeze
"Was that a sneeze ?" Harley said as she raised her eyebrow
"Guys ! the tube !"
The two woman turned their heads to see the green tube rolling away towards a nearby drain leading to the sewage
"If the Tube got away this would've all been for nothing !" Ivy said before making a vine sprout from underground
To everyone's confusion the Tube just began to miraculously fly as it hopped from Vine to vine only furthermore growing their confusion
"This is one strange fucking night" Harley said
Pulling out his dual pistols Jason combined the guns turning them into a sniper rifle as he locked on to the tube
His shot was perfect dead on right as the tube looked like it was gonna jump out the window Jason could've shot it
But he didn't ?
He missed his chance and the trio watched as the green tube escaped
"Ja ! What the hell, why didn't you shoot ! I'VE SEEN YOU MAKE THAT SHOT IN YOUR SLEEP !"
"I…." Jason began as he turned the guns back to normal and placed them in his holster
"I think I just saw a tiny person ?"
