Ratchet's P.O.V.
Joe's injury and story concerns me, but I'm happy Jasmine isn't terrified that this could be another attempt by Yazmine. If Yazmine was working with Megatron, I wonder if he killed her for a failed plan. Even after what she did to Jasmine, I don't wish death upon Yazmine.

Sunstreaker isn't pissed as he would be after threatening a human, which often includes a warning injury. I hope I'm worried for no reason, and my only concern is only how did Joe get the injury he did while repairing a Jeep?
The twins are happy to hear how the past hour went. They don't know whom we're talking about because of patient confidentiality.
With a doctor from the hospital scheduled to work in the medbay, I suggest taking Audrey for a walk. Audrey is two-months-old and should be ok. Sideswipe has extra blankets in his subspace for Audrey.
"We sure this is Sideswipe?" Sunstreaker jokes.
"Oh, he is. Still plays video games when watching her," Jasmine comments.

Jasmine's P.O.V.
Sunstreaker takes a couple of pictures before we leave.
"We sure this is the real Sunstreaker?" I whisper to Ratchet.
Ratchet smiles, "I don't think he'll ever stop his psychopath ways, but what happened to you angered him, and he chose to protect you and Audrey."

A few people stop to look at Audrey, but don't touch her. Ratchet would likely yell at them.
We don't stay out for long.

"I think we can make this routine," Ratchet smiles as he puts Audrey in her crib, "we can get her one of these."
Ratchet shows me a full-body coat that covers the hands and feet. Ratchet knows we still need to be careful, but Audrey needs to get outside for a while. The argument might be the twins shouldn't have been allowed to watch her, since they have to touch her, and Roy shouldn't have held her, but we're all careful.
"You are taking her from us?" Sunstreaker asks, "Sideswipe will not be happy."
"Yes, but the routine will be the same except for Jasmine will be working in the medbay. You two will be like daycare."
I didn't think Ratchet would talk as if I'm ready to get back to my residency. He said a week of review, no way he's decided by now. Add Sunstreaker sounded unhappy with the thought Audrey won't be staying in the room with him and his brother.

Ratchet goes back to work, while I stay with the twins. They also think Ratchet has decided I'm done with medical review, and will work in the morning. There's still much to review. I can still review my med school book.

Sunstreaker's P.O.V.
It's hard to believe you're disappointed Audrey and Jasmine won't be staying with us. Sideswipe comments through the bond.
Though I dislike being woken up when Audrey wakes up in the middle of the night; I am displeased the femmes are going back to their room with Ratchet. We'll likely keep the same routine, even after Jasmine and Ratchet are done working in the medbay. It's no longer only about protecting them. Jasmine is my friend. Audrey won't understand friendship for a couple of years, but still.
It's odd I'm getting a text from the femmes' aunt.
Ryley: hard to believe you are taking care of my nieces.
Sunstreaker: I swear I'm not hurting them.
Ryley: I just met the Autobots two months ago, but I know Optimus, Prowl and Ratchet wouldn't let you near the two girls near you.
I don't know what to say.
Ryley: but how much time do you spend doing what you want?
Sunstreaker: I don't care. Until I know they'll be safe.
Ryley: I can watch Audrey at the base. All the kids are in school.
I do not know if Ryley works or not.
Ryley: I'll be there in ten.
She's going to ignore me telling her not to come here.

As she said, Ryley is here ten minutes later, knocking on the door.
"Ryley, I—."
The femme shoves me out of the way.
"I'm not letting you drop everything you'd be doing if this shit wasn't happening."
"Who'd be babysitting then?" I challenge.
"Come on, guys," Jasmine interrupts, "arguing about who'll babysit isn't helping anyone. For now, the twins can watch Audrey while changing nothing else."
"Sideswipe's class isn't all day or every day, and even Autobots can't train for hours and daily," I add, "we'll be able to take turns."
"The femmes might be interested in babysitting as Audrey gets older," Jasmine adds.
Ryley sighs, "fine, but I want to help."
With Audrey asleep, Ryley leaves the room, but I doubt she's going home.
"Is she going to keep telling us she wants to help?" I ask.
"I don't know. It's been years since I visited aunt Ryley. You know she just wants to help, and you should let her. You're good at detecting if anyone is lying, was she?"
"No."
"It's hard to believe things are getting better. I'm terrified I'm dreaming and something is going to happen."
I'm concerned about hearing Jasmine say that.
"Everything is getting better. You know every Autobot will protect you and Audrey."

Jasmine's P.O.V.
Audrey's nap is short. I smell why before getting her out of her pack 'n' play. She smiles like she's pleased with what she's done.
She's awake now. After her diaper change, I have her lay on her stomach on her playmat. Audrey is doing well at holding her head up. I'm thinking of letting her watch the T.V. network Baby's First T.V.
Not sure what Ratchet will think, though. Audrey might only listen for now. Sideswipe plays with Audrey, and I'm certain Sunstreaker is sketching the two.

Audrey doesn't last long before needing another nap. The twins are used to the routine.
"We have everything under control," Sunstreaker comments.
"Yes, but —," I start.
"So I think you should hang out with the femmes. Enjoy the time before Ratchet allows you to work full time."
"Seriously, are you my brother?!" Sideswipe jokes.
I laugh at the joke and Sunstreaker's expression. Sunstreaker already talked to Rung and Arcee about this. To my surprise, Rung suggested going to the mall. Even after everything that has happened.
