Chapter 11: Yoga at LA Fitness

One chilly third Saturday of February 2023, I met up with my childhood friends Sarah, James, and Henri, along with some of my other friends Alex Russo, Justin Evans, Max Greenwald, Carly Shay, and Spencer Puckett, as well as Carly's stepdad, Freddie Benson, at LA Fitness in Monroeville for yoga. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, Angel!" Sarah greeted back. We jammed out to Kate Bush, Lizzo, NSYNC, and 98 Degrees on the way to yoga. I also tagged along with my female roommates for Alex's trip to the grocery store to buy more food for the condo and then to her mom's house to get food and litter for her cat, Chloe. "Isn't this fun, James?" Sarah asked. "Of course, Sarah," James stated. "I will work hard to incorporate at least one yoga session into one 4-month period." "The yoga is fun for me to do, too," Henri agreed. "Hopefully, I can do more yoga in order to eventually have a girlfriend and get married," James stated. "Sybil was actually the best girlfriend I have ever had until we broke up! But, School Picture Day was even worse. I didn't know what to do, so I nervously stayed in bed." "That was when I came to help you," I reminded James. "And, I came to help you getting ready, too, Sarah," Henri stated. "That was before Benedict got expelled from school," Sarah remembered. "I wonder how our other friends are enjoying the yoga," I happily stated. "I am enjoying yoga as I love any kind of physical exercise," Carly happily stated. "I took you to a yoga studio once during the winter in Natrona Heights which you really loved," Mr. Benson stated. "I even remember working for the yoga studio at times," Spencer stated. "You don't have to ask me about yoga, Angel," Alex happily stated. "It is one of my all-time favorite forms of exercise!" "I remember that one birthday party was supposed to be a yoga party, but they decided to have it at the country club instead," Max stated. "Did you happen to find any workout videos with Nick Lachey in them, Justin?" I asked. "No, I unfortunately did not," Justin stated. "I have noticed how much better I am doing with saying inappropriate stuff about 98 Degrees," I told Alex. "Yes, you are doing much better, Angel," Alex told me. "It's because I don't want to lose you as a roommate," I stated. "I can easily achieve my goal that I wrote about in my journal this year," Alex happily stated. "I hope to go bowling at Arsenal Lanes in Lawrenceville tomorrow if nothing else comes up!" After yoga was over, it was time for all of us to go home. "Thanks for a great day, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
