"The explosive boy smiles?"

He was aware that he hadn't lost anything, because what he supposedly lost, he never had in his hands. Midoriya didn't reciprocate his feelings. Of course, if there was any sign of inclination towards him, he would have noticed it. But there wasn't any.
Midoriya had no love for him. More than the harsh feeling of friendship, which he uttered with all of them without any trouble. That's why he didn't loose.
He didn't lose a dime for his love.
His dignity lingered between fantasy and reality. Between the insatiable euphoria and the feelings that he couldn't discard in a charitable act for Bakugou, who was the one who suffered the most for being an idiot. For negligent. Stupid, too. But that was just a wishful thinking that he wouldn't say to his friend's face. If he opened his mouth, he would end up in a pulp before finishing his sentence.
"Bro, why so thoughtful?" Kaminari asked him.
(Both of them were sitting in the cafeteria, waiting for Mina and Sero to arrive with them). Kirishima ran a hand under his chin, spreading the edges of his fingers into the expanse of his skin; he burned the thought that he had exceedingly.
"How much have you been thinking?" He asked him for the second time. This time, shaking his head in a light animated nod.
"I thought Midoriya is an impossible." Kirishima declared, vehemently. Kaminari sighed in surprise.
"Impossible?! But, how? If he is a tender little sun that doesn't hurt a fly"
"Precisely" He fixed his eyes on him, serious. "Because Midoriya is a good guy, I can't have his love"
Kaminari looked at him without understanding anything, to which he carefully added, "From the beginning Bakugou has been in his heart. There was never a chance for me. And don't look at me with that face, Kaminari. It doesn't affect me as much as it seems, Really. I'm serious, man. That's why I decided to let Bakugou go free, only I'll intervene to make things work out better between them, since neither of them will have the initiative to act. Especially Bakugou. He won't budge. He won't move a damn finger to get close to Midoriya, due to his pride"
"Oh yeah," Kaminari agreed, nodding. "Bakugou is too proud. His initiative can be reduced to nothing"
Kirishima laughed at the comment.
"I agree with that," Kirishima replied. "He's so proud that he can't get close to Midoriya, if he doesn't hurt a bug," Kaminari let out a hearty laugh. "I saw it with my own eyes. And he doesn't hurt anyone. Nobody!"
"That's how harmless he is."
"What are you guys laughing at?" Mina sat down with her food ready, looking at them curiously. They got over the laughter that crowded much of their eardrums and turned their attention to her.
"Nothing relevant," Kaminari replied.
She arched an eyebrow, smirking. She didn't believe them, of course.
"We're just talking about Midoriya," Kirishima added.
"Ah, Midoriya," Mina made a mocking expression. "We haven't done anything in weeks and blasty just makes a long face all day." She made a disgusted face. "We need to act"
The three of them nodded in agreement with the matter in remission.
At that, Bakugou appeared in front of them, looking a bit more alive than before. His pale cheekbones had a slight blush matched to them. At last there was a tinkle of life in him.
"What are you looking at, useless extras?" He faced them, since the three of them looked at him briefly; curious with the incentive to take a seat with them.
"Nothing," the three chorused.
"Okay," He took the chopsticks and began to eat, what appeared to be udon.
After a while, Sero joined the table, noticing the strange atmosphere that lived in the explosive boy, who ate with a calm that gave chills. From his position, Kirishima felt the joy flutter in the explosive body of his friend.
As he watched, he came up with a way to increase his happiness, to which he nudged Kaminari, to get his attention.
"What's up, bro?"
"Let's invite Midoriya to sit with us," He whispered.
Kaminari's eyes glittered with mischief.
Of course he was aiming at his target.
They both smiled in agreement. Then Kirishima held up his hand as he searched for Midoriya's unmistakable hair. Finding him, he smiled hugely.
"Oi, Midoriya!" he called. Immediately Bakugou tensed, terrified with his task; His cheeks, painted a small dose of pink, bathed in scarlet.
Mina scoffed at the explosive boy's reaction. Kaminari was just humoring him, looking just as amused as he was.
The aforementioned raised his head, half lost with the origin of the call.
"Come sit with us," Kirishima invited.
Then, Midoriya smiled as he was seating among the cafeteria tables. He signaled to his friends that he would go with them and headed for his table. Again, Midoriya was unaware of his plans; he just nodded and went where the wind called him.
The closer the aforementioned got, the greater the blush on the face of his friend increased.
The situation became increasingly funny. Hilarious, even. Seeing his supposedly intimidating friend turn red over a harmless boy was laughable.
As soon as Midoriya arrived, he greeted them warmly, smiling at the four of them. At first, Bakugou flinched, lips pursed into a rueful line, his eyes fixed on his uneaten lunch, his hands trembled, clinging to his chopsticks as if that was the most important thing in the world.
Mina caught all the intention that the two of them had and opted to move to the side of the place, allowing Midoriya to sit right next to Bakugou, who, tense and nervous, swallowed.
Who knew that putting the explosive boy in such a compromising situation would be laughable?
"How are you guys?" Midoriya questioned them, wearing his bright smile that drew another blush from the blond, who narrowed his eyes at his food.
"Uff, very good," Kirishima replied, flashing a toothy smile.
To those extremes, Bakugou could pose as a tomato in high season. He noticed that with trouble, he returned to eat the udon; that caused another reason for ridicule.
If he had known what to put the explosive boy in trouble, was laughable, he would have done it long before.
Maybe that's why he noticed Midoriya; for being the trigger for many things (people too) to explode.
After a while of much talking and little progress, before Kirishima tried to unite them, Uraraka came over to give him the pieces of paper, which he was already so familiar with. She would give him a handful of coupons.
Midoriya's face lights up looking at the coupons in his palm.
"Thank you very much, Uraraka-san." He appreciated the gesture of giving him the handful of coupons, which alerted Bakugou to rest his eyes on them and then back to his food. It was noticeable that he was trying to suppress his curiosity by looking for a few seconds and being satisfied with what he saw, instead of asking (as he is supposed to have done out of pure common sense. Detail that the explosive boy is missing greatly).
In the first instance, it was a mismatch for Kirishima to observe such behavior and not be able to intervene.
Once Uraraka was gone, Midoriya beamed excitedly at the coupon bits.
"Someone wants to use them with me?"
The three of them looked at each other, communicating with their eyes, as if it were morse code. In less than a second they agreed that they would force Bakugou to use the coupons, despite his pride.
They would make him go by force, if it meant going with him.
"We can't," Mina replied.
"Yes, we can't," Kaminari chanted.
"Me neither," He said.
Midoriya blinked, his mouth slightly open. He looked surprised.
"Why don't you go with Bakugou?" Kirishima suggested, well-intentioned. The aforementioned upon hearing it, he blushed.
"Hah?!" He exclaimed at his suggestion.
"Yes, go together," Mina pointed out.
Midoriya was unfazed by the suggestion. Instead, he showed openness and an excited smile hovering his lips.
Suddenly, he reached out his hand and sought to contact his childhood friend, who tensed from him.
"Don't even think I'm going out with you, nerd."
Midoriya looked down, saddened.
That action annoyed Kirishima, who was about to intervene in his friend's response, except that Midoriya took the initiative and dared to put a hand on Bakugou's shoulder, who just tensed nervously at the audacity of Midoriya.
At last he had understood that if he didn't take the initiative, Bakugou would never lift a finger.
"Kacchan, please" He asked in a pleading tone, which only caused the explosive boy to gnash his teeth. "Let's go out again, I had a great time with you yesterday" The blush increased, turning dark, crystallizing his feelings of shame in front of the object of his desires. Bakugou was so obvious with his feelings; he was surprised that Midoriya hadn't discovered them by now. "Go out with me, please."
"I got it, bastard," Bakugou snapped, his face red. "You don't have to repeat it to me. One foolish time is enough" In an instant he snatched the coupons from his hand" If you're so fucking insistent that I go with you, we'll spend all the coupons together"
Midoriya smiled at this and jumped at the explosive boy; he hugged him. And, precisely he was repelled by himself, that when he saw himself in front of the eyes of his friends, he would not let him touch him.
Although it hurt Kirishima to see Midoriya being so bold and cheerful around Bakugou, it could mean one thing: that he liked him.
There was no other explanation more logical and clear than that.
That also explained why he felt like a freak in front of those two. In short, Bakugou was a gigantic troublemaker and Midoriya too pure for this world. They complement each other. They are the clear example of rare with rare. And stubborn with stubborn.
Mina winked at him, seeing the panorama that these two offered with delight. One trying to hug him and the other, wriggling out of his grasp out of pity.
The only thing left to do was find out what had happened between them the day before, so that Bakugou had agreed to go out with Midoriya a second time and above all, saying it in front of his friends.
The strange contingencies that accompanied the story of Bakugou and Midoriya are a mystery that he will have to unravel with his detective skills and the only way he would find out about the events is for the Bakusquad to reunite for more adventures without Bakugou.
