Chapter 14: Fortune Tellers and Games
The next day, we all went to Riverview Park in Oakmont for a fortune teller craft, along with 10 fun games to play after the craft was over. "Hi, guys!" I greeted my friends. "Hi, guys!" Sarah greeted back. We jammed out to NSYNC, 98 Degrees, Kate Bush, and Lizzo during our fun. Carly, Spencer, and Mr. Benson discussed not having Valerie as a supervisor for activities nowadays, as well as stating that they were looking forward to the next activity in neighboring Plum Borough. After all, the pair of eastern suburbs were favorites for the spring and summer activities, as well: just 2 months away. Alex, Justin, and Max stated that the activity reminded them of summer camp and it was considered to be a finale before their senior year of high school as they were trying to remember their senior activity in Oakmont the prior day. They were also looking forward to the next activity in Plum Borough, just east of Oakmont, easily reminding them of upcoming spring and summer activities. To top things off, during dinner and dessert, which was a taco and ice cream sundae bar, Sarah, James, Henri, and I discussed our long-time dream of living together as a second family, and we discussed potential makeovers like we did as young girls, but we have already had several activities like that. Sarah also recounted not inviting our young female clients to go roller skating with us because they were all under the age of 21 and she did not want a repeat of John Paul asking her to see an R-rated movie with him at the age of 13 years old, almost the oldest sister, Abigail's age. I also suggested that we give the fortune tellers to Hannah and her guests to use at their Magic and Mystery Sleepover next month. Sarah, James, and Henri stated that they were definitely looking forward to the next activity in Plum Borough as both of these suburbs were near the Pennsylvania Turnpike, bringing warm thoughts of spring and summer activities. Pretty soon, it was time for all of us to go home. "Thanks for a great evening, everyone!" I thanked my friends. "You're welcome, Angel," Sarah replied. "Good night, guys!" "Good night!"
