Hello! So I'm back after a few years and I got super motivated after I watched some one piece episodes. Anyways, I have a plan for how I want this story to go so come along the journey with me.

"Hey Ace. You said you have a little brother right?"

"Yeah."

"What's he like?"

With that big smile of his, Ace answered, "He's the kind of person that can make others move with him. Even though he's stupid."

Her eyes widened as she thought about Ace's little brother. Someone like that could actually do it. Be the king of the pirates. That doesn't sound too bad.

She hugged Ace's waist tighter as he was controlling his striker to get to their next destination; Alabasta.

"I'd like to meet him one day."

Ace's smile widened even more as he let out a chuckle.

"I'll introduce him to you one day, Ria."

Prologue (12 years ago)

"What's this little shit doing here?! Get her out before she pollutes this place with her germs!"

Big men grabbed the tattered little girl and threw her out of the bar. She landed on her face and let out a small groan. She picked herself off of the floor and dusted her already dirty clothing. At five years old, this young girl had already seen the horrors of the world.

Forced from her mothers arms and watched as her mother was killed in front of her, she was left mute from the trauma. Those who had taken her from her mother tried to sell her off into slavery but the little girl escaped and managed to make her way into this island called Rhondia. On Rhondia, there was no one who looked like this little girl. Everyone on this island was pale skinned and had blue eyes. This little girl was of a darker complexion with red eyes. She had long black untamable curls and wore a light green oversized t-shirt with a rope as a belt around her waist.

In the eyes of the people who had never seen skin like hers, she was seen as a mud being or even called 'black death.' Whenever a death occurred on the island she always seemed to be around so the name stuck.

She preferred that the people despised her and tried to stay away from her since she had long stopped trusting people. How could she when the one's she trusted the most are who put her in this situation?

After she was done cleaning her tattered dress, she quickly made her way back to her self-made hut that was on the outskirts of the town in the woods. The hut was made of wood from the trees of the forest with mud sticking the wood together like glue. She didn't have much inside but some thick leaves she used to sleep on along with an old blue blanket and a single plate with a single fork.

What the bar owner who kicked her out didn't know was that she stole something from his bar. Something that could cost a few million berries but to the little girl it was her only food of the day.

The little girl reached the hut and placed the strange looking fruit on a plate. It had blue swirls with a black stem. It didn't look very tasty but the little girl didn't care since she was hungry. She quickly took a bite and gagged but forced herself to eat the rest.

Disgusting but I need to survive, for mom.

She gulped down the aftertaste with water and sighed from relief. At least she wouldn't be hungry today. The only kind beings to this little girl were the animals of the forest. The animals are the reason why people tend to stay away from the forest if they weren't hunting but for some strange reason, the animals treated the little girl as one of their own. They would try to bring her some food but it was hard to get anything when the animals would be hunted or killed on sight if seen in town. Feeling bad the little girl would go to town and try to steal some food so that the animals wouldn't hurt themselves trying to help her.

With her hunger satisfied the little girl soon fell asleep, dreaming about her mother who's dark skin was beautiful and smooth along with her kind brown eyes. She dreamt of the father she never met but her mother had shown her a picture of him and she could see where she got most of her features from. Especially her eyes. He too had red eyes but his skin was tan and he had short black hair with a small beard and mustache. The little girl wished that she had met him once to ask him about the sea that he loved but he was swallowed up from that same sea.

Her dream was interrupted when she heard screaming.

In a drowsy state she got up to see where the sound was coming from. Looking out her tiny window she saw that the town was on fire. There were bodies on the floor and pirates were killing everyone they could see.

"KILL THEM ALL! The devil fruit must have been taken so let no one escape."

The pirate who yelled that let out a big laugh and a smug grin was left on his face. He was fat and had on black pants with a gun and sword attached to his pants. He had on a red pirate hat that had skulls on the front and a beard long enough to reach his belly.

"Please sir! Don't do this! I can help you find who took the frui-ACK!"

The little girl gasped as the pirate impaled the bar owner with a sword. "I'll do whatever the FUCK I want!" he laughed.

The little girl knew then that the fruit she ate was something she should have never touched. She knew that it would only be a matter of time for the pirates to come to the woods and find her. She had to hide.

Getting up quickly, she grabbed the blue blanket and used it as a cloak to hide herself better. She then ran out of her hut and deeper into the woods. The animals sensed the danger so many fled but the few that were around made it their duty to keep the girl safe.

The little girl ran as fast as she could with the animals behind her to make sure she was safe but soon heard the pirates behind her.

"I see something running, captain! I think whatever it is may have the fruit!"

"CATCH IT AND KILL IT!" the captain yelled.

The girl panicked and tried to run even faster but it was no use. The pirates had caught up with her and she was cornered. Either she got killed by the pirates or she jumped off the cliff to her death. Things were looking bleak.

"Ah it's just a little girl. Come here and we MIGHT make your death less painful."

She shook her head and glared at the pirates.

"The little brat is glaring at us, let's get her!"

The pirates rushed in to kill the girl but before they could reach her the animals started to attack. The monkeys started to throw whatever they could, including their own shit. A tiger jumped at the pirates and began to maul them. The pirates screamed in terror.

The little girl tried to sneak away but a pirate saw her and swung his sword at her. She let out a grunt and held the left side of her jaw which now had a big cut oozing with blood. The pirate smirked and pulled out his gun to shoot her. As the shot rang out the tiger quickly rushed in front of the girl and got hit instead. The tiger was forced back from the shot and knocked into the girl which pushed her off of the edge of the cliff.

The force of the tiger hitting her off the cliff knocked the air out of her lungs and brought tears to her eyes. As she fell, all she could do was smile as the tears fell with her.

Soon I'll see mama, and even meet papa. I'll see you both soon.

She hit the ground with a loud thud. Before she blacked out she heard the pirates say, "There's no way a kid could have survived that. From how she looks, she couldn't have taken the devil fruit. LET'S BURN THE ISLAND TO THE GROUND!"

Somewhere off in the ocean a pirate ship noticed an island burning.

"Captain, it must have been a pirate attack. I don't think there are any survivors."

The big man hummed in agreement and shook his head. It's pirates like them that make other pirates seem cruel. The captain was about to tell the navigator to pass the island but something told him to go. He couldn't shake the feeling.

"Let's go there."

"But captain-"

"Do it."

The crewmate looked at his captain and saw the look in his eye and the frown under his white mustache. He knew that the captain could not be moved and did as he said. When they got closer to the island they noticed something strange on the sand.

"It's a child!" a crew member yelled!

The big man got out of the boat and went to the child. She appeared to still be breathing. With the movement from the big man the little girl opened her red eyes. She could see the big man with a white mustache and a bandana around his head. He smiled softly at the little girl and she returned that smile before she passed out again.

"Captain, is she…"

"She's alive but barely. And she has red eyes."

"Red eyes! Then that means….!"

The captain nodded and sighed. There was only one pirate that he knew that had red eyes but he had passed away a couple of years ago. This must be his child.

The captain gathered the little girl in his big hand and made his way back to the ship. When he made it to the ship the little girl woke up again. He smiled and asked, "What's your name kid?"

She sensed no malice from the giant man and forced out "...r..r-ria.."

"A beautiful name for a sweet little girl. Sleep now, you're safe."

Ria, who felt so warm in his arms, closed her eyes and fell asleep. From that day on, Ria began to travel the sea with the whitebeard pirates.

Present

"You better! I wanna see if he's as stupid as you are, Ace."

"H-hey! I'll drop you in the ocean!" Ace yelled offended.

"You and I both know that with my devil fruit powers that would be useless." Ria snickered.

It had been 12 years since she first began to travel the sea with the whitebeard pirates. She had made a lot of new friends including her best friend Ace who she travels with frequently. Although this journey to Alabasta was strictly business. Ria hoped that she and Ace would have a little bit of fun.

"I-is he still alive?!" The chef yelled when Ace face planted into his soup.

Not the fun she was hoping for but it was a start.

Can't wait to see how crazy the adventure will be. Stay tuned!
