****The Market****

Jayda had not taken a decision yet about either joining a Gianna's gang or marrying Sammy.

(The truth be told, neither of those prospects liked her nor disliked her)

At first, she was going to "bury her head on the sand" till something pushed her to take action but Jay's letter had been somewhat of an eye-opener.

"(…) I'm not saying that you should marry that pirateblondie Samuel or join Gianna, but you should at least try to think about what you are going to do now that Am'maty Nasira has died. Also it would have been better to be informed about it by you instead of finding out from your boyfriend"

She knew that it wouldn't be long before someone barged into the apartment she had shared with her mother and decided to throw her out, the only reason some of her neighbors were kind of helping her to keep the apartment was because her mother was a healer (something much needed) and her father had been a very scary pirate from Captain Teach's crew who supposedly died when she was a baby.

"Why did they have to die?" The young woman wondered as she walked down the alleys that lead to the Isle market and resisted the urge to kick a can she found on her path.

The raven haired girl tried to keep walking at a constant pace but she felt as if she was being watched and followed by someone but she couldn't find who was it, that was making her somewhat unnerved but she knew that she wouldn't be attacked by anyone when she reached the market since it was some kind of neutral area for everyone in the Isle as they weren't allowed to spill blood there as it was one of the were few laws Maleficent had stablished and enforced.

Something about not wanting blood on her doorstep.

"But we can do that everywhere else" Jayda thought as she checked once more if she had her knife inside her jacket.

It had become a habit for her.

Her mother had always carried a knife with her too, just that she instead kept it on her ankle.

(Which in Jayda's opinion was impractical but who was she to question her mother)

She also checked if her bag carrying some rusted coins was still in her pocket.

Sometimes she would steal what she needed, as many did, but she had to be crazy to steal from the Stabbington's clothier without back-up.

(Not even Mal and Jay would dare to steal from them and they were the ones to steal the most, apart from the thieves of course)

As she entered the market area, she saw the usual faces doing what they always did: Gaston carrying some liquor boxes to his tavern, Hans making some deal with a bunch of pirates, the Queen of Hearts and Drizella fighting over some dye products, Johanna Becket was swapping some scavenge parts from Tyrell Rourke* but his sister was about to strike the other young woman with a bottle, Marianne Mim was with her cousin Marcus at the Horned King's Cauldron shop trying to get a discount, Queen Narisa was fighting with the Red Queen and the Evil Queen for some rejuvenating cream at Yzma's stand.

Jayda snorted at the sight of the three queens, Yzma's cream was a scam but they still bought it in hope to retain their youth.

She then heard Iago on the window of her uncle's junk shop, it was strange that he wasn't on his door talking with someone. Then the young woman realized that she had been standing there for too long and was starting to attract some attention.

Khal Jafar* had helped her to transport her mother's body to the cemetery and nothing else, which was fine by her but there was the chance that he would try to turn her into his supplier.

Like he had done with Jay.

(Her mother never approved of Jay becoming a thief but Jayda always thought that it was bound to happen as they lived on the Isle of the Lost)

She walked up quickly towards the clothier and almost fell down on her face but she regained stability with the help of one of the Stabbington cousins.

Karl, the youngest one of that bunch and no one knew whose brother's son he was but it was clear that he was a Stabbington since he had that fiery red hair.

"Haven't see ya' in a while" The boy said with a chuckle and then seemed to remember something because he frowned "I'm sorry about Tante Nasira*, she was…"

"I know, kid, I know" Jayda interrupted the boy and ruffled his hair while she amazed at the fact that he had grown up very little since the last time she saw him about a five months ago "You don't need to say anything, she esteemed you too"

Her mother had taken care of him when he had fallen ill when he was six from that grey sickness and in turn he had fixed most of their clothes when he had felt better; Karl had even lived with them up until a year ago when Geoffrey (another Stabbington cousin) had dragged him back to their clothier.

"Okay then" He said shrugging and putting his hands on his pockets "What do you want?"

"Down to business, I see" She said lightly but somewhat thankful for the chage of conversation "I'll need a shirt and a bed sheet"

The boy nodded and turned to the shelf were they kept the clothes and sheets they mended and sold, Jayda had always been impressed at the fact that two infamous ex-thieves had turned onto clothing business on an isle that received trash on the barges.

"I heard that you are going to marry Sammy" Karl commented while he searched for what she asked for.

"Who told you that?" She asked frowning, she hadn't told anyone about that but also knew that on an Isle.

"Murray*" The boy said shrugging "Though Zac* had mentioned that Sammy and you were close"

"Fuck" Jayda thought, of course the ones from Harriet's crew would know about it and she was about to retort that when he continued "Though Vincent* said that Gia invited you to join her gang…which one is true though"

"So your cousins are finally speaking to you?" The young woman managed to say trying to change the topic "Weren't you all like trying to kill each other?"

"Geoffrey was sick and thought he was going to die so he asked to see all of us" Karl shrugged it off "We all are okay with each other; I guess"

"Did he die?" Jayda asked a little bit confused. She remembered Geoffrey as he had been in her class and well, he was too tall so he was hard to miss and he was one of the best wrestlers at school "Wasn't he living with Gianna?"

"He is okay; he just has those scars on one of his arms and yes, he is part of Gia's gang now" The boy turned back to her with the shirt and the bed sheets "Ten rusted coins"

"Six?" Jayda blurted out the question, her mother usually paid seven rusted coins.

"I'm just the clerk" Karl responded raising his hands on defense "Also, since Mal became a lady or something, things have been slow on business as not many barges come anymore"

"Whatever kid" She said rolling her eyes "It's not like things have stopped arriving"

"Your uncle has doubled the prices" The boy said on his defense "He says we have to make profit, even Hook and Teach have been charging three rusted coins for each can of meat"

"Pirates being pirates" Jayda scoffed shaking her head with some amusement.

"I suppose that you would know about that…or at least will"

She just raised both of her eyebrows in response but refrained from complaining more about the price, Jayda wasn't going to fight everyone else on the Isle for a shirt and a bed sheet when the barge came in.

Then she handed him the coins and grabbed the things she bought before saying her good-byes.

****Dragon Hall****

Ginny fixed her hair on a ponytail and looked at herself on a pocket mirror she sometimes carried with her.

She wondered how much did she actually looked like her mother and decided that they looked similar enough for Mother Gothel to hate her and see her as an extension of herself. The girl considered herself lucky to have that long black curly hair instead of blonde like the man her mother said was her father.

(Also, she was grateful that she didn't look like that ungrateful brat Rapunzel who once had been blonde)

"Have you finished?" Gaston Jr. asked with annoyance.

"Nah, she still needs to apply that thing on her face" Gaston the Third mocked Ginny looking pointedly at her make-up case.

"Oh, you are still there" The girl said in a huff, she had forgotten that they had walked with her to school, and noticed that Le Fou Deux was with them too "I thought you would already have left"

"Such a nuisance" She thought as she gave a look to the three boys that were accompanying her, before joining Maddy's gang she wouldn't have spared much than a look at the Gastons (they were good looking but in interesting) and Deux was too much of a bother for her.

Even his voice was a bother.

"We would have" Gaston Jr. said leaning on the wall "But Drisha isn't here yet and we have to talk"

"About what?" She asked with a frown.

"About what are we going to do to get that ship" Drisha said appearing behind Gaston Jr. and placing a hand over Gaston the Third's shoulder "Maddy won't stand for another failure"

"It's easy for her to speak when she isn't the one receiving glares from the Jolly Roger crew" Ginny complained with a sniff "She is off at the Witch School while we are about to get gutted by Greg* and Zac"

"Are you afraid of them, Gin?" The Third mocked her in a tone that always seemed to rile her up.

"Of course not" She scoffed punching him on the arm even when she knew that it didn't hurt him "I just appreciate my face; don't you remember what happened to Rick Ratcliffe when he dared to steal from Nadine?"

The other four grimaced, his face wasn't exactly a sight these days, and Drisha then said "Well, if we are not getting that one…what are we going to do?"

"Aren't there some abandoned ships from Captain Teach's fleet?" Le Fou Deux asked trying to get their attention "Maybe…"

"No, they are unusable from what I heard Jamie* say" Junior said shaking his head and noticing the looks they were giving him, he explained "What? She comes to the tavern to buy for Norrington and I have asked about it"

"Thank you for being so evident" Drisha snapped with irritation and had a long breath before adding "Then, are we going to plan how to take the Lost Revenge? It seems like our only option at the moment"

"Maybe we shouldn't be speaking about this at the middle of the hall…" Ginny said noticing that Gan Yu was looking at them with a curious expression and scurried away when she noticed that they were looking at her.

Ginny had her reservations about speaking about these topics at school but they wouldn't have another chance at planning as Gaston Sr. wouldn't leave them alone when they were at the tavern and Maddy had too many cousins at her cottage who could hear them.

"She isn't going to say anything" The Third said "She isn't on good terms with her brother"

"And she has a crush on you" Junior teased him nudging him with his elbow.

"Can she even tell them apart?" Ginny and Drisha both thought and shared a look, then Drizella's second daughter said "I think we should get going to class"

"Yeah, your grandmother doesn't take kindly on tardiness" Le Fou Deux said and took his leave before them, he was running as if he was going to be stabbed by someone.

(Which may have been likely as some kid was looking at him attentively and Ginny then noticed that he had a new coat far too short for him)

"He is always running away" Junior commented as he put a hand on his chin as if he was starting to wonder about something but Ginny knew that there was no chance that he would actually think.

"I don't know why Maddy let him in" Drisha commented crunching her nose in a way that resembled her mother "It's not like he does much"

"You don't do much either" Ginny scoffed "You weren't there when those rats returned from Auradon, at least Deux is useful as he at least follows orders"

"He is our minion" Junior said while his twin nodded "He follows our orders, not anyone else"

(Sure, he was loyal to the LeGumes but he didn't feel comfortable enough in their gang for some reason and Ginny had started to suspect that he didn't trust them)

Ginny rolled her eyes in boredom and grabbed Drisha's arm before walking towards Lady Tremaine's classroom leaving the two boys who had started pushing each other out of the way when they noticed Gan's older sister* coming by, the other girl looked at her with confusion but didn't say anything and waited for her to speak.

"Smart one" The curly haired girl thought before saying "What would you say if I suggested we go to Ursula's and try to speak with some of Uma's crew?"

"After the failed attempt at speaking with Gil?" Drisha asked raising an eyebrow and huffed "Not likely, surely Sammy will send someone to check if we attempt going near there" She made a pause "It would be better to go and ask Zevon how he got out"

"He hasn't come to school in a while" Ginny pointed out, they had searched for him at school after his sister left for Boredon and people at his class had tol them that he hadn't shown up for a long time "He hasn't come up from his cave either, not since Beast Jr. sent him back"

"Then we have to pay a visit to Yzma's cave"

"As if it would be that easy, Yzma doesn't like to speak to people when she is not trying to sell her experiments and she would most likely try to make us buy something"

"Do you have a better idea?"

Ginny kept walking and didn't release the other girl's arm, she huffed when they arrived to Lady Tremaine's classroom before admitting "No, we will need money though…"

"Do you plan on buying something?" Drisha asked disbelievingly.

"No" Ginny said, her mother never fell for Yzma's product, but then added with a frown "It may come in handy…"

"Then shall we tell the Gastons?"

She thought for a moment before shaking her head "Zevon doesn't like them, if we want to ask him about how he got to Auradon we have to go alone"

"So telling Maddy about this is out of the question too?" Drisha asked with some glint in her eyes.

"If we succeed, we will tell her…" The green eyed girl responded and released her companion's arm.

"If we fail, it would be better to pretend we didn't even approach Zevon" Ginny thought as she entered the classroom and shuddered a little at the thought of losing her status.

Maddy didn't exactly like Zevon and asking him for help wasn't exactly something she would do and their heads would roll if she knew about this, especially without good results.

Ginny then felt like someone was observing her and turned her head to the back to the classroom, Sammy Smee was looking at her with cold while he spoke to Helena.

She felt something cold running through her back.

****Hell Hall****

"I don't know why you are getting your stuff here" Ivy de Vil said with a sniff, the manor still smelt the same after all these years.

Dust, half-rotten furs, actually rotten food and some humidity.

Carlos may have tried to serve the purpose his mother assigned him but there was no denial that the mansion had been on the way to become a shell of its former self, but now without him the manor had fallen into despair.

Cruella had never been good at living without assistance.

And the Baduns were not exactly good at housekeeping.

In truth they weren't exactly good at anything, not even following orders and Ivy couldn't understand why the De Vil keep them around.

(Though it may have to do with Aunt Cruella being friends with them before she lost her mind and always appreciated them more than she did her blood relatives sans Gradmother)

"I'm moving back with Ella" Her uncle replied with patience "My wife and I have agreed that it's the best for her" He made a pause "Permanently"

"And you two plan to survive?" Ivy asked dumfound.

Aunt Cruella didn't actively hate her aunt but there was no guarantee that the blonde would survive living with the crazy old woman.

(Okay, Cruella wasn't that old but she was older than Ivy's father, David, would ever be)

"Ivy" Cecil admonished her and gave her a disapproving look "Ella isn't okay"

"She hasn't been in the last twenty-five or so years!" The young woman scoffed.

There was also the unspoken "Why you didn't come live here when Carlos was still at the Isle?" and Ivy already knew the answer, even if she couldn't totally understand, and it hurt "Because of Diego".

A silence was formed between them and it wasn't until most of Cecil's things were put at the feet of the main stairs, the man said "I never asked, why didn't you come live here when…?

"I couldn't" Ivy responded shrugging "Too many memories, I guess"

And that was the truth, she couldn't bear living on a dilapidated mansion that had once been her family's ancestral home without being reminded of the life before.

She had been the oldest of the children sent to live to the Isle of the Lost and the only one besides Lila Rourke, Marcus Mim and Vincent Stabbington to actually remember life at the now unified Auradon; maybe that was why she had some kinship with them.

Even though they had their own gangs and were mostly occupied with them.

Ivy remembered Darren Salt*, Sienna Keyes*, Leonor Plantagenet, Khasar Yu, Hubert of Hearts and Hansel Westergaard being babies when they arrived, crying and fussing while the soldiers dropped their families at the Isle…they were a few years younger than her and now adults, but they were still children for her.

"Like Diego, like Carlos" she thought.

"I understand" Her uncle said "It's hard to be back here"

"Then why are you here? I mean, she has been in a bad place since she was a child" Ivy said uncharitably.

"She is my sister, dear niece" Cecil said in a tired tone "I have to take care of her"

The young woman sighed and nodded, she knew that taking care of her was the reason why he had come to the Isle.

(That and to give some support to Uncle P.H. and her own father who was sent to the Isle for trying to make a meteorite crash at the Radcliffe's farm*, falling in love and marrying had been unexpected)

"I suppose that you are not coming upstairs to say hi to your aunt" Cecil said looking to the stairs.

"Not likely" Ivy said pressing her lips on a thin line but trying not to sound too unpleasant.

(She still remembered how to behave in normal society…not that she actually had good manners when she had been living in King Georgetown but still)

"When is Aunt Paulette coming?" She asked after an uncomfortable silence and put her hands on her jacket pockets.

"I don't know" Cecil responded "She said that she had went to speak to her sister"

"Try to speak to Madam Laurette, you mean" Ivy said "Why does she even try to? Madam Claudette's husband didn't like you because you were too worldly and our last name while Gaston doesn't allow her have any interaction with other people"

"Laurette is having a kid, it's normal that Paulette would like to speak to her" Her uncle replied tiredly and added with a faint smile "I just hope this one isn't named Gaston the Fourth"

"We don't need more Gastons" Ivy agreed and was about to say goodbye but instead asked "Do you remember the day I was born?"

"Ella and I went to visit your father when you were born" Cecil responded absentmindedly after a moment "We were all happy for him and your mother, even your Grandmother was present and she never liked kids"

"Not even you three?"

"Malevola de Vil never liked a thing in her life" He made a pause "She loved our family in her way…I suppose"

Ivy shook her head while trying to remember her grandmother but nothing came, except for that day on which they had the plan with the meteorite.

"She…was some woman" Ivy said after some thought about what she could say "Malevola de Vil was the reason we were rich"

"Madeline" Cecil said "Her actual name was Madeline de Vil"

"Oh"

Then they heard someone coming in and Ivy wasn't surprised to see Aunt Paulette carrying some bags.

"And with this we have officially moved back into Hell Hall" The blonde woman said with a smile before running to hug Cecil.

"Keep the PDA to the minimum, please" Ivy said crunching her nose a little but wasn't really disgusted by it, then she asked "Anything interesting happening in town?"

"Not really" Paulette replied "Beckett has raised the prices, Hook has not been fighting that much, Evil Queen is trying to get the Red Queen and Queen Nasira to stop fighting, Jafar has been making some deals without going out his shop and…well, Gaston and Hans were fighting about something"

"Ah, the same as ever" Cecil said "Though is strange that Jafar hasn't been trying to make some alliances or trying to get a new "supplier" for his store"

"Maybe he is mourning his sister" Paulette suggested "Nasira has not been dead for long"

"Could be" Cecil agreed "Though he may be busy with something else"

"Yeah, like there is much to do here" Ivy commented sourly and was about to take her leave when Paulette said "Oh, there is something else…Carlos has written some letter for us"

Ivy frowned and thanked her as she wondered how long had it passed since they had last spoken with each other.

****Abandoned Factory****

Genna had always wanted her older sister to take over the Isle, or at least to take over the leadership among the children of villains, but she never did.

"There is a time for everything" Gianna would always say and she sometimes added "Some were born to rule, others to bide time to rule and other are not to rule at all"

"Which one are you?" Genna used to ask but her sister never answered.

It annoyed her to no end, it wasn't like they didn't have the strength to fight for Mal's former territory and well, the older generation was not getting any younger so…

(Geoffrey and Vincent agreed with her but they would never dare to voice and opinion that was contrary to Gianna's)

Her older sister would always tell her not to think about that, that they needed to recruit more people before thinking about doing that.

(They were five on their gang, maybe six if Gianna managed to get Jafar's niece to their gang or to make at least one of Shan Yu's many kids to leave the camp)

Or make alliances with other people.

That was why her sister was now on a reunion with other gang leaders or their second-in-command, some adults had come too to Genna's surprise.

They were all discussing about the lack of an actual ruler of the Isle, they weren't reaching any agreement about it.

If to find a new one or let things as they were at the moment.

"Maleficent gave us some kind of stability, she kept us from killing each other" Irina of Crims stated punching the table. She was in place of her husband, Hubert of Hearts, and Genna thought that it had been a good move on their gang's part as she was much scarier than the actual leader "Who knows how little we would have lasted without her being the Isle's Queen"

"She didn't keep us from killing each other" Khasar Yu, Shan Yu's kind of official heir and leader of the young Huns, scoffed and rolled his eyes "The dragon just made us stop killing each other as fast as the first days"

"As if you would remember the first days" Lila Rourke* muttered and then slammed her hand on the table while looking at her gang leader "Not many here actually do, unlike us"

"Admittedly, we were too little to actually care what was happening at the time" Hansel said in a tone that reminded everyone of his father when trying to negotiate and looking at the brunette with some apprehension "But Maleficent did remind the adults how to function in some kind of society"

"She used some help though like the Huns and the pirates" Sammy interrupted the auburn haired man "Though she wouldn't like to be reminded of it" He made a pause as if he had suddenly forgotten what he wanted to say before continuing "Not that she is here anymore to hear us speak about it" The blond made another pause "Or Mal"

"At last someone mentioned the half-breed" Edward Norrington said with some delight on his voice as if he was waiting for someone to bring up Maleficent's daughter. "I was starting to wonder when you would bring that subject up"

Genna couldn't help but to feel disappointed to see him here instead of Johanna Beckett or even his sisters, the fact that he used that term to refer to Mal made her wonder what made Lord Beckett send him to the reunion.

It made no sense to have him there.

"Mal isn't coming back" Irina said with some irritation in her voice but trying to keep it down "There is no reason we should speak about her, she decided she is too good for the Isle now"

"As if you would like to come back here after scoring a king" Hansel commented with a chuckle and teased her "Even if you love Hubert so much, though he is a prince…isn't he? That must be good enough for you"

The berry haired young woman huffed with some indignation but refrained from responding while Dr. Facilier, who seemed amused by the young ones, joined the conversation while distractedly playing with some cards "A king is fit for a queen, it was always on her cards…"

"I thought you said you couldn't actually read so far into the future while on the Isle" Sadira*, the King of Thieves' wife, said squinting her eyes and side-looking Lila and then to Gianna, who had not yet spoken, then she added after some pondering "You read all the kids' cards when they were born"

"That was seventeen years ago" Lila said crossing her arms and looking suspiciously at Dr. Facilier "I remember you mentioning that there was power on her cards, not that she would be queen"

"My wording is not always clear for everyone, dear Miss Rourke" The ex-conman said with a smile "She is a lady in Auradon court now, there is power on that and…"

"She is going to marry Beast Jr." Edward interrupted his ex-professor who seemed not to care about it "He is a king, that would make her a queen"

"Isn't she already one?" Helga Sinclair, who had been leaning on a wall trying not to interact with the other persons in the room.

"Her mother was our…kind of a queen, Maleficent was beaten by her and so that would make her the new one" Sadira said and then seemed to taste the words she was letting out "Mal LeFay, Queen of the Isle of the Lost"

"Purplehead doesn't live here anymore, it doesn't matter if she deposed her mother" Vincent blurted out and flinched when Gianna gave him a cold look "In my opinion"

"She unseated Maleficent" Helga responded with a light chuckle "That makes her the new queen, that's how it works"

"That's how monarchies work" Irina agreed after a look from the older woman and looked to the side "Also, she was her mother's direct heir"

(To Genna it seemed liked they had agreed on that beforehand and started wondering if Dr. Facilier's comment was calculated too)

"So are we recognizing Mal as queen?" Khasar asked raising an eyebrow "I didn't think we would reach this conclusion so early into the conversation"

"We aren't" Gianna said speaking for the first time and then added with some discomfort in her voice but quickly regaining her cool "At least not yet"

"What do you mean?" Edward asked with interest.

"I sent a letter to her a few days ago through Hook who was sending a letter to Harriet" Gianna explained "I explained her about the current situation we are having at the hospital"

"That's another topic we shall have a meeting about" Sadira said nodding and then her voice turned a little bit sad "Especially with Nasira's death, we have no healer here"

"Sukh-" Khasar started to say but he was interrupted.

"He is not ready yet, he has gone to tend to the Mims and there is no improvement in their condition" Lila snapped "Two weeks and he has not yet cured them"

"Shut up, Lila" Gianna coldly said and put both of her hands on the table, when the girl recoiled on her seat, the dark haired young woman said "We are in desperate need of supplies and only Mal can help us get them, if she does care about the Isle she will answer to… our request"

(Genna knew that her sister had written to their cousin too in hope that the mousy girl would help them but she had doubts)

"If she does, that would mean we recognize her as our queen?" Hansel asked trying to mask his disappointment "I thought we were pass that; I mean we came here to discuss what are we going to do…"

For all they knew, Hansel would have wanted to seize power with Gianna but the young woman always turned him down.

Romantically and politically.

"That would be an option" Gianna responded "For now I suggest we don't stir up any conflict with Evil Queen and Jafar, I have seen the old hag trying to get supporters at the market" She made a pause before turning to Edward "I suppose Lord Beckett sent you here to say something, am I right?"

"He wants in" Edward said looking directly into her eyes "In whatever you are planning, he doesn't trust Jafar or Evil Queen or whatever they are doing at the moment"

"He shouldn't" Sammy agreed shaking his head "Captain doesn't either, Jafar hasn't actually gone out from his shop in a while and that's far too strange"

"Anyway" Lila raised her voice a little to catch their attention and turned to Gianna "How long has passed since you sent your letter to Mal?"

"A week or so ago" Gianna responded "I suggest we wait two weeks more for any sign of response"

"That's too long" Helga said with annoyance "Who knows how many of us will have fallen ill till then"

"As long as we don't go to the witches' territory or the docks at the other side… we will be fine" Hansel said with some optimism.

"Easy for you to say" Edward responded rolling his eyes "Many of us live near there"

"We will not die…yet" Sammy interrupted them and turned to Gianna "Two week you say? I suggest a week" He then asked to Dr. Facilier "Is that okay? Is that how sending letters to Auradon work?"

"Sounds…a reasonable amount of time" Dr. Facilier replied nodding "It's the most I have waited for my daughter's responses, goblins aren't the most reliable postmen"

"Till then, how are we going to cope with the sick ones?" Irina asked worriedly "For those who live near the witches is not easy to avoid them"

(Genna remembered that Irina's father and brother had died from grey sickness a few years ago and that was the reason she had moved in with the Queen of Hearts instead of staying with the Red Queen)

"Bring them to the hospital" Gianna responded shrugging but there was some concern about that since most of the beds there weren't in good state and Anastasia hadn't been available for help "There is little do to now without medicines or herbs" She turned to Sammy "Send Sukh here tomorrow, he is not as good as Nasira but he is the only one apart of Dr. Facilier who may know what to do"

"I'm flattered that you consider my help useful" The voodoo man said with a smirk but Genna noticed that his demeanor wasn't as confident as she had been accustomed to while she was a student.

She also realized that she hadn't seen Celia in a while and started wondering where she was, maybe that was the reason his demeanor wasn't the same as always.

Then the meeting was wrapped up and Genna couldn't help to feel unsatisfied with the results but Gianna seemed to be on good spirits.

Genna couldn't understand why.
