She was standing in DC for him, she was adjusting to his life the best she could.
But the place that should have been hers was already reserved for Temperance, to her unhappiness.
She liked Seeley, he was good and a great man.
He was a good father and was excellent in his field of work.
But he was not whole with her.
But she still didn't feel like leaving, she felt that if she pulled the rope a little more he would like her more, he would prefer her to Temperance.
Just maybe ..
She sighed and looked at the open article on her notebook, it was for a report outside the country in a few months ...
She signed up, it was always good to have a backup plan, in case your relationship with Booth didn't work out.
But she wanted it to.
If she needed a fresh start, she would.

Temperance woke to the sound of whispered voices coming from the kitchen.
She opened her eyes and found herself lying on the couch with a blanket, she hadn't even realized she had dozed off.
Her cloudy mind reminded her of the conversation with Joy and then she remembers just snuggling on Booth's shoulder.
She must have fallen asleep like that.
And what a way to fall asleep!
She sat on the couch and stretched her muscles a little and then stood up and looking at the kitchen saw a scene that made her smile.
Joy was sitting at the counter and Seeley was in front of her, talking to the little girl, who looked much better than she had hours ago.
—Now that you have a good idea of what Hockey is, you have to know that Flyers are the best team and nobody can convince you otherwise.
—Okay daddy! (The girl laughed putting her hand in front of her mouth) Go Flyers, go!
Temperance laughed and approached them.
—Is Booth already filling your head with that primitive game?(She said and put both hands on Booth's shoulder)
—She needs more than just scientific gibble, a little culture is good. (He said and tickled Joy)
—Let's cheer for the Flyers Mommy!(Joy said and held out her arms towards her mother) Dad's said they are the best!
—When you meet your grandfather Max (She said and picked the girl up), he will teach you about what he calls true Hockey. (She said to set the girl on her hip)
—Max likes Hockey? (Booth asked with a frown)
—He prefers baseball, but he also likes hockey.
—And who does he support? (Booth asked and crossed his arms)
—Columbus blue jackets. (Temperance Said)
—Don't listen to that old man. Flyers baby, in this house we are Flyers." (He said and tickled Joy) until you Bones.
—Go Flyers! (Joy cried out between laughter)
— Okay.(Temperance smiled and pulled her daughter away from Booth's attack) Do you feel better love?
—Yes Mom, Dad is really good with fears, can he put me to sleep today, along with you? (Joy said anxiously)
—Joy, your father .. (Temperance started)
—Of course princess, today is all yours. (Booth said and took the daughter) What do you want to do now?
—Can we see a movie? (The girl asked after kissing Booth's cheek)
—Of courseMiss ,and what will you want for dinner?
—Cheese pizza! (She said and raised her arms excitedly)
—Okay,just today.(Booth said and put her down) Go choose your movie.
The girl nodded and ran to the living room.
—Do you think she's really okay? (Temperance asked him)
—She woke up a little scared, but we talked, she ate a sandwich and was happy as she always should be. (He held her hand) She'll be fine, she needs time and some love, and she has both .
—I know .. (She sighed) Can you watch the movie with her? I have to do some work.
,—Sure, no problem, but you are going to lose.(He said and kissed her forehead)
—Daddy comes on! (The girl called with the DVD in her hands)
—Going baby Bones.
Temperance smiled as he looked at the two of them together in the room.
Ah if it were always like that.

Sweets was concerned.
After his conversation with Hannah he was more anxious to know what was going on between Booth and Brennan.
He felt that something was different that morning.
The way the two looked at each other reminded him of that time before Hannah, when they were really united.
But there was more.
A lot more.
And he wanted to know.
So after finishing your last reports, call Dayse to confirm that they would be leaving that night.
He called Booth and he didn't answer.
So he did the most logical thing, if he wasn't with Hannah, he was with Dr. Brennan.
And then he called Temperance's apartment number.
—Tempe House, who would like it?(Joy's cheerful voice said)
—Hello Joy, it's me Doctor Sweets. Is Agent Booth there?"
—Hello Doc, Daddy is. (Joy said excitedly) I'm going to call him.
He heard the girl's footsteps in the hall and then a small conversation between them and then the girl handed over the phone saying a quick bye doc.
—What do you want Sweets? (Booth asked irritably)
—We need to talk, Hannah came to see me today after your session and asked me where you were last night, and if I knew anything.
—And what did you say? (He asked anxiously)
—That you were with me, talking ... but that's not the truth."
—What will you want for that? (Booth asked angrily)
—Talk, a true and open conversation.
-When?
—tonight at the founding fathers.
—Okay, as soon as I put Joy to sleep, I'll find you.
—Okay, see you soon.
And Sweets had what he wanted.
An open conversation with Agent Booth, he hoped this time would direct the agent to the right side.

Booth sighed and dropped the phone back in the room.
—What did Doc want, Dad? (Joy asked as she stood on the couch for and stretched out her arms to get caught.)
—Nothing baby, just boring things. (He said and kissed her head) Because you are not going to call Mommy to dinner and wash your hands.
Joy nodded and ran out of the apartment.
Oh man.
He was screwed.
Booth and Bones put Joy to her bed, told her two stories and kissed good night.
And the girl fell asleep quickly.
And as soon as the daughter fell asleep he left.
He hadn't commented on Temperance about sweets
He arrived at the founding fathers and soon saw Sweets who gave a cheerful smile.
He was so happy with the fact that he knew something against him.

—Okay Sweets, what do you want? (Booth said irritably as he sat next to Sweets)
—Good night, how are you? (Sweets said excitedly)
—Good night Sweets, I'm fine and you?
—Well, do you accept a drink?
—Let's get to the point, what do you want? (Booth asked hostilely with the psychologist)
—Well, what happened between you and Dr. Brennan yesterday.
—Nothing, I just went to the bar and took her away, that's all.(Booth said looking away at the bar)
—Okay… and that explains why you two aren't looking each other in the eye or why you didn't say that to Hannah. (Sweets said and crossed his arms excitedly)
—Hannah wants me to get away from Bones, I don't think she will like to know that I went to get Bones from the bar.( Booth clarified and looked at the petulant doctor.)
—That you were jealous of her, you mean. (Sweets said convinced)
—I just came to help a friend before she did something stupid that she regretted tomorrow."
—Okay .. (He chuckled) Look Booth, I understand that you may be torn between Hannah and Temperance, but you have to decide, or you will hurt them both, even more Temperance that has been hurt by you since you came back. (Sweets said sincerely to the man)
—I know,(he said and took a deep breath) What should I do, Sweets?
—Do you think you and Hannah are serious?
—Like a heart attack. (Booth said seriously)
—And you and Temperance? (The doctor asked and called the bartender)
—I don't know .. (He sighed) it seems a little unattainable.
—Do you want to hear what I think of as a friend and psychologist?(Sweets asked and Booth denied), so I think we should drink it. (Sweets said and the bartender handed Booth a bottle) Women.
—The women..(Booth said and took a sip of his beer),
—And you owe me one. (Sweets said after taking a sip of beer)
