Chapter 21: The Dragon Mojo
In the throne room of the Well of Shade, Wuya stood still as Zhao circled around her with a calm yet evil stern glare.
"Master, Zhao, if we stop the Elite Ninja and their friends once and for all, all of the ponies will be at our mercy." Wuya said.
"Wuya, I appreciate your commitment to revenge, but your obsession with destroying Chase is getting in the way of my goal, to bring back the Pillars and Stygian from Limbo so the Age of Ragnarök can begin." Zhao said as he kept circling the unicorn witch. "So far, you have showed me nothing but failure in the process."
"But master, what if I have a plan that will accomplish both our goals once we have the Dragon Mojo in our grasp?" Wuya asked, making Zhao stop.
"I am not only concerned with not just the Dragon Mojo. I am more concerned on how we can destroy Chase, Twilight, and their friends so that no one will interfere with our business. I have spent for too long to begin a new world order that Grogar could never finish after Gusty The Great defeated him. Now is the time to ensure the wielders of the Elements of Harmony and the Elite Ninja be terminated for good." Zhao said, before he continued to circle her. "But if you should happen to find the Dragon Mojo in order to get rid of Chase in the course of serving mine, so be it. But you will have no further dealings with attacking Twilight Sparkle and the rest of those girls until I say so. Is that perfectly clear?"
"Understood, master." Wuya said as Zhao stopped in front of her.
"Wait for my command, and do not fail me again like you did the last time to get my prized weapon. The consequences would be… unfortunate." Zhao said coldly.
Wuya nodded.
"Don't worry, Master Zhao. We will find the Dragon Mojo and destroy Chase Young once and for all." Wuya said assuring before she left the throne room.
Then Kai came into the throne room with a few Protoquin soldiers following him.
"We've tracked the Dragon Mojo in the cavern below the lake of Manehattan, Master Zhao." Kai said to his master. "All of the Quinkan soldiers are prepared to await your order."
"Good. I am impressed, Kai." Zhao said. "Bring the soldiers with you and bring enough of the Mojo to me. The time to be rid of the Elite Ninja is at an end. And if those fools by any chance outsmart you, destroy them."
"Yes, Master Zhao." Kai replied back with a respectful bow before he left to gather the Quinkan soldiers.
Once he was out of the throne room, Zhao turned his attention to his orb as it showed the Dragon Mojo in the silo beneath the lake of Manehattan.
"My time to rid the Elite Ninja from Equestria is about to begin." Zhao said with a wicked smile. "And very soon the Dragon Mojo will allow us to gain my army the strength to kill Chase Young once and for all."
He chuckled sinisterly.
*Main theme*
In the Castle of Friendship, Chase was helping his family and Twilight doing some of their training sessions. Trini was sparring with Jade, Sunray with Antonio, and Twilight with Chase. Starlight was with them as she was sparring with Nyx.
Jade was able to dodge a kick and a punch from Trini before she blocked another punch from her older cousin, ending it with a powerful palm strike to Trini's chest as she was sent flying on her back.
Nyx managed to block with her forearms while Starlight performed a spinning back kick at the alicorn filly, but then she grabbed the lilac unicorn's left hind leg to twirl around her and fell on the ground.
Chase managed to help Twilight once again, and we turned our attention to Sunray and Antonio's spar.
"What you gonna do? What you gonna do? What you gonna do?" Sunray teased Antonio, getting him to lower his guard.
Sunray jumped toward Antonio. Antonio saw an opening. He ducked, grabbed Sunray's front hooves and monkey-flipped him onto his stomach. Antonio smiled and struck a pose.
"Yeah baby!" Antonio shouted as he jumped onto Sunray's face and teased. "You got faced! Thought you had me, but I played you like a trombone."
Antonio stood up and started imitating that he was playing the trombone.
Sunray stood up and caught Antonio in a Kannuki Jime.
"Play time's over, tough guy!" Surnay told Antonio, as he lifted him off the ground and applied pressure.
"Put me down! Enough! Uncle!" Antonio cried, struggling free from the hold.
"Oh no, here we go again with their dirty fighting style." Starlight said with a shake from her head.
"I don't see you tapping out." Sunray replied.
"I can't... Move my... Arms..." Antonio struggled to say, dropping his arms.
Sunray applied more pressure, which caused Antonio to yelp.
"Then tap your horrible disgusting left back hoof." Sunray said with an evil smirk.
Antonio grunted as he wiggled his left back hoof and Sunray dropped his older cousin fell on his back. Antonio sat up and talked to his back left hoof.
"Don't worry, hoofy. You're not as horrible as he says." Antonio said, scolding Sunray as Chase and Twilight walked up to him.
"Antonio, why did you give up so easily?" Chase asked curiously.
"There was nothing I could do." Antonio answered back in dismay.
"Don't let Sunray get to you, buddy. There's always something you can do. Observe." Chase explained. He looked at Sunray. "Sunray, Kannuki Jime!"
Sunray tensed up as Chase walked past his little brother.
"Oh, I think he's gonna get it now." Twilight said to Starlight, Trini, Jade, and Nyx with a smirk as the five girls silently giggled.
Sunray stood behind Chase and performed Kannuki Jime. He tried to lift Chase into the air, but to no avail.
"Remember what Grandpa said. The key is to unbalance your opponent." Chase explained as Sunray continued to try and lift his older brother off the ground.
"But how?" Antonio asked.
"However, you can." Chase answered with a shrug. Then he added. "For example."
Chase licked the side of Sunray's face, making him widen his eyes. Sunray reacted by letting go of Chase and wiping his face. Chase took the opportunity and tripped Sunray over with his right back leg.
Twilight, Starlight, Jade, Trini, and Nyx snickered uncontrollably as Chase chuckled.
"You see? There is always a way." Chase said with a smirk. Then he wiped his mouth in disgust and looked at Sunray, "And you need to take a bath, Sunray."
(Scene changes)
In the library, Twilight was just reading a book while sitting comfortably on the couch with Nyx cuddled up with her mother while Chase was cleaning his katana swords. Jade and Trini were working on their element magic as Antonio was busy reading a comic book with Spike reading his own. Sunray was doing some push ups.
With one last push up, Sunray got up on his hooves to take a breath.
"Wooh, that's it for me." Sunray said exhaustedly.
"At least you won't have to get licked on the face again, bro." Jade teased.
Sunray glared at his older sister in annoyance.
"Whatever, sis." Sunray said annoyingly and glared at Chase. "Chase, I can't believe that you did that to me! Do you know how embarrassing that was?"
"Hey, don't give me that look." Chase said with a smirk as he continued to sharpen his katana swords. "You had it coming so I had no choice but to outsmart you."
This caused Sunray to roll his eyes in annoyance.
Twilight giggled silently in amusement with Nyx.
Suddenly, Starlight came into the library with a newspaper in her magic.
"Hey, guys!" Starlight said, gaining her friends' attention. "You gotta check this out."
Starlight places the newspaper on the table as the others come to her to check it out. It showed the picture of the Quinkan attack today at the docks of Manehattan.
"There's been a report of a Quinkan attack in Manehattan." Starlight said with concern. "Zhao has sent his army to find something at the docks."
"What could he want there?" Chase asked in curiosity. "We blew the Temple of the Ninja Tribunal when we stript the power of the Zeo crystal from him."
"Maybe, maybe not." Starlight said with concern. "It looks like they're searching for something big at the bottom of the lake."
"Well, whatever Zhao's got in mind, it can't be good." Trini said, not liking this.
"There's only one way to find out. We should go to Uncle Zayto and Aunt Angel so they can give us information." Jade said with determination.
Chase glared at the newspaper with an angry look.
"Alright, guys. Gather up what you can. We're leaving today to check it out." Chase said as he, his family, Starlight, and Spike walked out of the library to get ready.
(Scene changes)
The Friendship Express chugged on the tracks to Manehattan. Once they arrived, Chase, Twilight, Jade, Sunray, Trini, Antonio, Nyx, and Spike walked out of the station right out into the big city.
"Alright. Come on, let's go check out the docks." Chase said as he led the way to docks with his family, Spike, and Starlight following him.
When they arrived at the docks, they were surprised to see the place trashed a bit with only a few buildings remaining intact.
"Wow. This place looks as bad as Wuya's hideout in the Underground." Spike commented in awe.
"There's gotta be somepony around here to help us find out what happened here." Chase said as he and the others looked around a bit.
"Chase!" A voice came from the left, making the group turned to see Zayto and Angel waving to them. "Over here!"
"Uncle Zayto! Aunt Angel!" Chase said happily and relieved along with his family, Starlight, and Spike.
They rushed over as Chase and his family hugged Zayto and Angel with relief as they hugged them back in reply.
"Kids, it's good to see you again." Zayto said to his two nephews, two nieces, his son, and daughter.
"It's good to see you and Mom too, Daddy." Trini said to her father with relief.
"What happened here?" Twilight asked with concern.
"The Quinkan have trashed the place and went underwater to find a very rare magical energy." Zayto answered. "Come with us."
(Scene changes)
Soon they were inside one of the two buildings intact and they were in a large room with a table in the middle. Zayto and Angel brought a large picture of what looked like the Dragon Mojo.
"Angel and I were observing the Quinkans' attempt on searching for the Dragon Mojo that was created by the previous Elite Ninja from long ago." Zayto said to his family.
"We found out that the Mojo is a very powerful source of magic that was infused with dragon DNA that they got from the dragons long ago." Angel said. "Zhao is planning to make his army more powerful with the combined power of it. They've already started the process of finding it in a cavern hidden deep at the bottom of the lake."
"And I take it that's a bad thing." Sunray summarized.
"Hm-hm. Anything to do with the Quinkan, you know it's gonna be bad." Trini added.
"I didn't think he was still interested in dragons that much." Spike said as he looked at the picture. "Zhao's gotta be obsessed with them."
"Along with how vicious and notorious most of them are except for Ember." Starlight added. "How is it that Zhao wants this energy to make his army stronger?"
"The Dragon Mojo is one of the most powerful energies around the world for unbelievable strength." Angel explained with a grim look. "Any one who would be using it would gain enough strength to become invincible. Now that Zhao has confirmation that the Mojo is inside the cavern, he will do nothing to make his army more powerful than ever."
"Along with destroying every inhabitant in Equestria if he gains this power." Twilight added with concern.
"How are we gonna get to it?" Antonio asked.
"The only way to get to the cavern would be to use a submarine." Zayto answered. "And only one of them remains in here."
"Then it looks like we've got a mission. You wanna join us, guys?" Chase asked his aunt and uncle.
"We'd love to, but we have to make sure that there's nopony injured. Because since the Quinkan attacked the docks, two of us will have to stay behind." Angel replied back.
"Don't worry, guys. You go after the Quinkan." Nyx said to her family, Spike, and Starlight. "I'll stay with Great Uncle Zayto and Great Aunt Angel to help them out."
Chase looked at them with a concerned look before he recomposed himself.
"Alright, guys. Looks like we're going to swim." Chase said with a determined look as the others looked at him incredulously.
(Scene changes)
In the water, the eight were in a submarine Zayto and Angel let them borrow. Jade and Trini were at the front row seat while Jade was driving it. Sunray, Antonio, and Chase were sitting in the middle while holding onto the handles incharge of the weapons. Twilight, Starlight, and Spike were looking at the view of the bottom of the lake from the windows.
"Wow, the ocean is so beautiful." Twilight said in awe.
"Yeah, and at least we haven't seen the Quinkan for now." Starlight added while looking through one of the windows.
"So that's good so far." Antonio replied back. "Maybe they are all at the party."
"Party?" Chase asked him with a blunt look as the others glared at him unamusingly.
"What? I didn't get invited either." Antonio said with a pouty look. "And I didn't get any cake."
Sunray rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"We'll discuss your cake time some other day, Antonio." Sunray said in agitation.
Chase shook his head in annoyance before he thought of something.
"Then we gotta be closer to the cavern they're at." Chase said. "Up periscope."
Chase pushes one of the upper buttons and uses a microscope to scan the area by looking through it. Then something caught his eyes as he gasped silently.
It was a giant Quinkan beast that took the form of a sea monster that looks like it's from Greek mythology. It had a body that looked like the Leviathan, only with a few minor differences. The flippers had sharp claws, a spiky back, incredibly sharp teeth, and purple eyes.
"Uh, Jade." Chase said while looking through the periscope at the Quinkan sea monster now known as the Leviaquin. "Any chance this sea monster looks like it's from Equestrian history?"
"Oh, I don't think so." Jade said as she and Trini gazed at the Leviaquin in awe and fear. "Based on his physiology, I'd say Zhao must've saved all of the stolen magic he gathered around the world to bring that thing from the Netherworld."
"How is that less horrifying?" Starlight asked worriedly while Spike and Twilight gazed at the beast fearfully.
"It's not, I just like to be proactive." Jade admitted sheepishly.
"Well, whatever it is, it looks like it's guarding that entrance to the cave." Sunray said as he gestured to the entrance of the cavern.
"Wow." Trini said in awe.
"Then that's our spot we need to go in." Twilight said with determination.
Chase pulls the periscope up with a determined look on his face as well.
"Let's go stealth." Chase said.
The others had determined looks on their faces as the lights chimed down to red. The submarine swam to the cave when the Leviaquin swam in front of the entrance, snarling at the submarine that had the eight heroes inside.
The Quinkan sea monster began to swim straight toward it, only for the submarine to fire a torpedo and barely missed the huge creature as it dodged the missile. It flew right into the murk as the Leviaquin swam after it.
Once the Leviaquin was gone, the submarine swam to the cave entrance.
"Okay, that sea monster's distracted for now." Chase said while using the periscope to look through the cave which was dark with the water's reflection on the ceiling and then saw some Protoquin soldiers prowling around the area. "Now we just need to get those guards out of the way."
"And how exactly are we gonna do that?" Antonio asked curiously.
"We make them come to us." Chase answered with a smirk.
The hatch on the outside opens as Chase climbs out of the submarine followed by, Jade, Sunray, Trini, Antonio, Twilight, Spike, and Starlight. They jump into the water, getting the Protoquin soldiers' attention as they head straight to the submarine with growls. They looked down at the water, only to find no one.
Suddenly, a wave struck out of the water and sent a powerful strike at the Protoquins, knocking them down unconscious.
Jumping out of the water, the seven ponies and baby dragon shook the water off their bodies before they became dry enough.
"We're in." Chase said when a sound of a whale was heard outside, indicating the Leviaquin was back.
"And that thing is back." Sunray said. "How are we gonna get out of here?"
"We'll worry about that later." Chase assured his little brother. "Right now, we've got bigger fish to fry."
"I don't think we're gonna find a bigger fish than that." Antonio said with a grin, causing his family, Spike, and Starlight to groan in annoyance from the joke. "What? Come on, that was good. You gotta give me that."
"Can we just focus here?" Twilight said, wanting to stop the Quinkan.
"Right." Starlight agreed.
The group pressed forward as they slid down to the lower part of the cave and ventured further down while using stealth mode. They eventually made it to the deepest part of the cave and looked around for any sign of the Quinkan, but nothing except for star spiders.
"Star spiders." Spike whimpered as one of the spiders scuttled away.
Antonio was behind Spike, who stopped in front of him as the baby dragon looked around for any sign of the Quinkan. Then Antonio smacked him on the head.
"Ow!" Spike yelped before he turned angrily to Antonio while rubbing his head. "You don't have to keep doing that!"
"There was a spider on you." Antonio said innocently.
"Well, there's a spider on you too!" Spike said annoyingly as Antonio turned his back to him while looking at himself for a spider, but there wasn't.
"No, there isn't." Antonio said but was interrupted.
"Come here!" Spike shouted, tackling the surprised unicorn stallion as he yelped.
"Knock it off!" Antonio shouted as Spike endlessly bonked him on the head several times. "Ow!"
Chase, Jade, Sunray, Twilight, Trini, and Starlight came up to them with irritating looks.
"Hey!" Chase whispered sternly, making Spike and Antonio stop their fighting as they turned to the others. "Shhh!"
"Focus on the mission, guys!" Twilight whispered angrily before she and Chase led the way to find the Dragon Mojo silo with the others following them.
(Scene changes)
About a few more minutes later, the group eventually found an opening to the other side of the cave. They walked inside and saw that it was an old abandoned mine.
"What is this place?" Starlight asked as they ventured further into the area of the cavern.
"It looks like some sort of old magic mine." Chase replied back as they looked at the old mining cavern. "When the previous Elite Ninja were fighting the Quinkan, they must've carved out these old caves to find the Zeo Crystal to transfer the dragon energy into it."
"Sheesh, they probably never must've never slept much." Antonio said while looking around the place.
"Don't try to mock them, Antonio." Trini said to her brother firmly. "After all they did for the good of Equestria, the least we can do is praise them for what they have done to find the crystal."
Chase looked around the place with curiosity.
"I guess this place sure has changed for a long time." Chase calculated with a look of thought.
"From the looks of things, I'd say the Quinkan have already beaten us to the Dragon Mojo." Twilight said with concern.
"We can't let Zhao get a hold on it." Chase said with a firm look. "If he gets his claws on it, he'll be more unstoppable with a huge army of powerful monsters by his side."
"But how are we gonna find them anyway?" Sunray asked his older brother. "This mine has gotta be so-"
"Shh!" Trini shushed her younger cousin as she heard something. "You guys hear that?"
Sure enough, there was the sound of growling.
"That must be them." Chase whispered with caution as he narrowed his eyes while turning to another tunnel that a light reflected on the walls offscreen. "Come on, guys. Let's check it out."
By using stealth mode, the eight made their way through the tunnel and saw the Quinkan army moving large rocks to find the Dragon Mojo.
"Move faster!" Kai ordered the army to continue digging. "We need the Mojo so our Master can begin his plan to rule the world!"
One of the Uberquins lifted a huge chunk of rocks away and saw something that shone off the huge cave wall.
"I've found it!" The Uberquin soldier said, gaining their attention.
Kai and Wuya stepped beside him to get a closer look. There underneath was the Dragon Mojo silo. Seeing it made Kai smirk evilly and took out his kyoketsu-shoge. He cracks the whip of the chains onto the rocks, causing them to fly away from the silo to reveal the Dragon Mojo.
"Perfect." Wuya said sinisterly. "All of this energy will make our army invincible soon enough."
"Yes, and then Chase will no longer be a problem to us." Kai agreed with an evil smile as he took out a vial and used it to scoop up some of the mojo carefully so as not to get in contact with it.
"Okay, we have to be quiet." Chase said to his family, Spike, and Starlight.
"Do you have to say that everytime?" Spike said, indignantly. "We know how to be quiet."
BURP!
Spike belched out a letter from his dragon breath as it landed on his hands, causing the seven ponies to widen their eyes.
"Ooh, that is embarrassing." Antonio said with a shake of his head and smile while Chase, Jade, Sunray, Trini, Twilight, and Starlight glared at Spike angrily as the baby dragon smiled sheepishly at them before he tossed the letter away.
Unfortunately, the Quinkan heard them as they turned to the heroes and snarled at them. Kai and Wuya saw the commotion as they smirked evilly.
"Well, well, well. What do we have here?" Kai asked mockingly while swinging his swords. "Looks like the Elite Ninja has come down to play."
Having no choice, Chase, Jade, Sunray, Trini, Antonio, and Twilight jumped out of hiding as they landed on the ground in fighting stances with their horns lit as aura hands appeared around their front hooves.
"We know what you're after and you're not gonna get away with it, Kai and Wuya!" Chase said.
"You still think you have what it takes to lead your team, you little alicorn pest?" Wuya asked mockingly with a taunting smirk.
"We're not gonna let you guys take the Dragon Mojo to make the Quinkan stronger!" Chase shouted angrily.
"Is that a challenge?" Kai asked tauntingly. "Well, time to prove what you're made of." He then points at the heroes with one of his blades. "Kill them!"
The Quinkan charge at eight as Chase, Jade, Sunray, Trini, Antonio, and Twilight dished out their respective weapons before they charged at the Quinkan army.
Chase took on four Protoquins as they surrounded him. They charged at him, but then he countered the first soldier with a back kick, sending it to the ground, spin kicked the second soldier at the cave wall, and used his Lightning element power on the last two, shocking them in the process before they were sent flying to the ground.
Jade took on five Pyroquins as she dodged one of their attacks and spin kicks the first soldier. But then one of them punches her to the ground, making her grunt in pain before she rolls out of the way and back flips back onto her back hooves. She charges at the remaining four and dodges their attacks. She palm strikes the second soldier to the ground, whacks the other two to the ground and uses her Water element to send a water beam at the last one, sending it at the cave.
Trini spin kicks two Electroquins to the ground, dodges punch from the other, ducks under to avoid a kick from the third soldier before she sweep kicks its leg to the ground, jumps into the air and used her Wind element to send a power gust of wind at the remaining three soldiers at a pile of rocks.
Antonio dodges a punch from one of the six Pyroquin soldiers, kicks the other to ground, and then uses his Earth element power to punch the ground, making a huge chunk of rock appear out of the ground before he sends it straight to the remaining four soldiers, sending them flying at the wall after the rock shatters.
Sunray spin kicks two of the seven Protoquin soldiers to the ground, dodges a few attacks from the other three, punches two of them to the ground, and uses his Fire element to send a fire beam at the last remaining three soldiers to the ground.
Twilight back kicks two of the Pyroquin soldiers to the ground, dodges a punch from one of them, ducks under to avoid a kick from the other before she flies into the air and uses her magic to send a powerful beam at the remaining five soldiers, knocking them down.
Seeing that the army was down, Antonio smirked.
"That's a twofer!" Antonio cheered. "Thank you, and thank you. And than you."
SMACK!
"Hey!" Antonio yelped as he glared at Sunray, who bonked him in the head.
"How many times have I told you, Antonio?!" Sunray said sternly. "No celebrating till the fight is over!"
"How many times have I told you, I assumed it was over?" Antonio remarked indignantly.
"Guys!" Jade snapped, getting their attention. "We're not done yet! We still got Kai and Wuya to deal with!"
Kai and Wuya jumped down as they smirked at the heroes evilly.
"That's right." Kai said evilly. "Take 'em down!"
The two villains charged at the heroes as they fought back. Chase, Antonio, and Sunray were fighting Kai.
It proved to be difficult as Kai was too powerful for them to fight as the yak spin kicked Antonio to the ground and palm strikes Sunray to the ground. Chase tried to attack Kai from behind with his swords, but the yak stopped him and kicked him to the cave wall.
Twilight, Jade, and Trini were fighting Wuya as the evil witch fired a few magic balls at the three girls while they dodged them. Then she came at the girls as she palm strikes Jade to the ground, punches Twilight in the gut, and back kicks Trini to the ground as the three grunt in pain.
The six then heard a whistle, making them turn to Starlight and Spike as the lilac unicorn signaled them to switch their opponents. Getting the message clear, they nod as they manage to swap. Starlight and Spike sneaked past the rocks so they could block the silo.
Chase, Antonio, and Sunray dodged everyone of Wuya's attacks as well as her magic fireballs. Just as Wuya was about to fire another magic ball, Chase twisted her arm as she screamed in pain before Sunray came at her and sent a spin kick at her in the chest, sending her flying to the ground.
Kai tried to punch Twilight and Jade, but they dodged him by sliding underneath the anthropomorphic yak's hind legs, high kicks him in the back as he staggered forward a bit as Trini came in, delivering a back kick to his jaw. Kai was sent flying into a pile of rocks.
Just as the battle was over, Wuya kicks Sunray to the ground, and palm strikes Antonio to the ground as Chase tries to take her on. But then she grabbed his right forearm, flipped him over and slammed him to the ground while performing an arm lock on him as he grunted in pain.
"Glad you enjoyed the fight. Now it's my turn, boy." Wuya taunted the alicorn master as he strained in pain from the arm lock. "What makes you so special? You're the next generation for the alicorn jiu jitsu master's and never give up easily. Why?"
Chase strained a bit before he remembered the key to unbalance the warrior's opponent. He smirked at Wuya.
"Because I do this to protect my family and friends." Chase said before he caught Wuya by surprise as he kicked the evil witch in the chest, sending her into the air and falling into the silo as she screamed in horror before she disappeared completely into the Dragon Mojo.
Jade, Sunray, Trini, Antonio, Twilight, Starlight, and Spike immediately went over to Chase.
"Honey, are you alright?" Twilight asked as she helped her husband back onto his hooves as their family and friends went back on all fours.
"Yeah. Thanks, sweetie." Chase said as he dusts himself off.
Then Kai jumps out of the rubble as the others turned to him before they glared at him as he stood on a huge rock, staring down at the eight heroes.
"In your face, Kai! We smoked your plan!" Antonio said gloatingly at Kai, who only smirked back in reply.
"You fools think you have defeated me?" Kai said as he jumped down on the ground level. "Well, we already have a new strategy for our plan to rule this world. You'll never be able to stop us this time. And the next time you see Master Zhao again, Chase, he'll make sure where your place will be."
Kai then reached into his pocket and tossed five smoke bombs in the air, causing them to explode once they made contact with the wall. The smoke blinded the eight as they coughed.
Once the smoke cleared away, Kai and the Quinkan were gone.
"They're gone." Chase said while looking around the area.
"Well, at least we blocked the silo." Jade said assuringly as she gestured to the rock pile locking the silo filled with the Dragon Mojo.
Suddenly, Spike noticed something on the walls that made him widen his eyes in surprise.
"Uh, guys?" Spike said, gaining their attention as he pointed at something shakey at the cave wall.
On the walls there were dynamite strapped on the stalagmites… and worse is that they were already lit up.
"Oh no! Kai must've rigged the place with dynamite!" Jade said with worry.
"How much longer do we have until we get out of here, Jade?" Starlight asked with worry as Jade equips a watch on her left hoof and activates it.
It then showed the time for them as it said six minutes left.
"By my calculations, I'd say we have less than six minutes to get outta here before the caverns collapse on us!" Jade estimated fearfully.
"Alright! Victory dance!" Antonio said excitedly as he was about to dance when.
"ANTONIO!" Chase, Jade, Sunray, Trini, Twilight, Starlight, and Spike snapped at him in annoyance and anger.
Antonio flinched as he realized this.
"Or… maybe later." Antonio said sheepishly.
"Come on, let's get outta here!" Chase said as he and the group made a run for it out of the cave.
When they reached for the other side, they saw the submarine.
"There's the sub!" Trini shouted as they reached it.
"Okay, now we just need to get back to the surface before this place blows up!" Jade said, only for them to get an unexpected surprise as the Leviaquin popped it's head out of the water with a loud roar, scaring the group in surprise.
"Or maybe just fight the Leviaquin quickly so we can try to escape!" Jade shouted in fear.
The ravenous Quinkan sea monster roared loudly as the group put aside their fear and glared at the beast. The Leviaquin lunges its head down to them to chomp the heroes, but they dodged it.
One by one, Chase, Jade, Sunray, Twilight, Trini, and Antonio jumped on the Leviaquin in order to try to hit it, but the beast was too strong. Then the sea monster bites on the tails of Sunray's bandana, lifts up in the air as he screamed in surprise and plummets down towards the monster's mouth, but Starlight jumps in and grabs him as they landed back on the ground.
"Jade, how much time do we have?!" Twilight asked Jade worriedly as her sister-in-law landed next to her.
Jade checks her watch as it shows thirty seconds left.
"We've only got 30 seconds before the dynamite explodes!" Jade replied back.
Then they dodged the Leviaquin's head attack, but Antonio got caught and was thrown to the other side.
"Uh, guys, any ideas?" Chase asked while avoiding the sea monster's snapping jaws and jumps over it.
"Well, let's see; we're cornered by an amphibious Quinkan sea monster in an underwater cave that's about to blow up." Twilight said, pointing out a few things before she had a blunt look on her face. "I'm out."
Then Spike did the craziest thing ever as he shouted in excitement while grabbing a long piece of seaweed, jumped on the Leviaquin, wrapped the seaweed around the monster's neck, and rode on it like a rodeo. The others cheered for him as the Leviaquin tried to shake Spike off, but he kept on holding the monster tightly.
Suddenly, he directed the Leviaquin's head to the cave wall, causing the stalagmites to fall. Spike saw this and jumped off as the Leviaquin shook its head a bit, only for the stalagmite to fall on its head really hard as the monster's eyes pop out a bit before he closes them, falling down unconscious.
"Haha!" Antonio said as the others climbed back into the submarine to get out. "That was fun, Spike!"
Then he was about to do the victory dance when Jade called out to him.
"Antonio, that victory dance better not last more than four seconds!" Jade warned.
Antonio did a quick victory dance before he immediately jumped into the submarine to join the others.

Jade got the machine working as the submarine then swam out of the cave just in time as it exploded with rocks crumbling down.
Seeing that the Dragon Mojo was sealed away for good, the others sighed with relief.
"Well, that wasn't such a chore now, was it?" Sunray asked his family, Starlight, and Spike with a grin.
"At least now Wuya is gone for good." Chase said with relief.
"You can say that again." Starlight agreed.
"Great, now we can get back to uncle-" Jade was about to finish when a roar like whale sound was heard, making the seven ponies and Spike look back to see the Leviaquin swimming after them.
"Are you kidding me?!" Jade asked irritatingly.
"Looks like that thing is not gonna give up easily!" Twilight said with worry.
Jade powered up the speed boost as the submarine began to swim away from the Leviaquin as it kept swimming after them.
"Man, that sucker is not giving up!" Trini said with awe and worry.
"Don't worry, we'll get the weapons ready!" Chase said as he and Sunray climbed into the controls that power the weapons.
They locked onto the sea monster as it roared viciously.
"Fire!" Spike shouted as Chase and Sunray fired a couple of torpedoes at the Leviaquin, but surprisingly it had no effect.
"WHAT THE?!" Sunray shouted in surprise.
"It's getting closer!" Trini said with worry.
"Jade, can you make this submarine go faster?!" Chase asked his sister.
"I'm working on it!" Jade responded back as she worked the controls.
Then suddenly, the Leviaquin eventually caught up to the submarine and grabbed a hold of it with its clawed flippers wrapping around it, causing the others to gasp in fear.
"That's it!" Spike said frightenedly while hugging Twilight. "It's got us. We're gonna die!"
(Music ends)
That's when they heard the Leviaquin letting out whale moaning noises. For the moment Spike's eyes opened as he and the ponies saw that the Leviaquin was not attacking them. Their faces were stunned. Knowing that the sea monster was in love with the sub.
"Uggh!" Sunray said disgustingly.
"Oh, yuck!" Trini said disgustingly as well. "I think it's in love with the sub!"
"Aww!" Starlight groaned disgustingly. "That's disgusting!"
"Gross!" Twilight said disgusted and irritatingly.
"Oh jeez!" Jade said, not wanting to vomit.
"Hey!" Antonio snapped annoyingly while waving his forelegs around a bit before he stopped. "We're not that kinda sub!"
Chase had his eyes closed before he pulled down a level to bring out some mine bombs near the Leviaquin, causing them to explode around the sea monster as it roared in pain and letting go of the submarine as it swam off carrying the others in it. The sea monster made a puppy dog look as a few tears left its eyes.
(Scene changes)
A little while later, the submarine resurfaced back at the docks in Manehattan before it eventually came to a stop.
Chase opened the hatch and climbed out with the others following him. But they still shivered from the Leviaquin cuddling the submarine.
"Okay, let's never ever speak of that to anypony." Twilight suggested with a disturbed look.
"Agreed." Chase, Jade, Sunray, Trini, Antonio, Spike, and Starlight said in unison, pretty disturbed as well.
That's when they saw Nyx, Angel, and Zayto coming out of one of the buildings.
"Mommy! Daddy!" Nyx shouted as she went down the stairs to Chase and Twilight as she hugged them.
Her adopted parents hugged her as well.
"Welcome back, guys." Zayto said to his family, Starlight, and Spike. "Was your mission successful?"
"Well, managed to block the silo, but Kai managed to grab a small sample of the Dragon Mojo. Wuya is gone, Zayto." Chase informed his aunt and uncle of the bad news of Kai getting a sample from the Dragon Mojo.
The news left Zayto, Angel, and Nyx worried, but were glad that Wuya was gone and the silo was sealed away.
"Do you think Wuya will make a comeback someday?" Angel asked her family with worry.
"Who knows. Maybe she might be back for a vengeance. All we can do is continue to stop Zhao before he destroys the world." Chase responded back with a determined look.
Zayto nodded in agreement.
"Then we'll make sure we're ready to face those monsters. For now, I guess it's time for you all to go home then." Zayto said with a smile. "We'll let you guys know if there is any sign of the Quinkan."
His family, Starlight, and Spike nodded in agreement before they walked back to the train station for Ponyville.
(Scene changes)
At the Hollow Shades, Kai had just returned to tell Zhao of the news that transpired this evening.
"Those ponies and Spike have destroyed the silo and Wuya was unfortunately caught in the crossfire." Kai informed his master, who stood before him. He then took out the vial that had the Dragon Mojo. "But we have gathered a portion of the Dragon Mojo for us to infuse it with the Quinkan soldiers. This should give us enough power to get rid of Chase and his family once and for all."
Zhao smiled sinisterly as he takes the vial from Kai and held it in his right hand.
"Perfect." Zhao said with an evil smile as he turned to Kai. "You have done well, Kai. You may leave me now."
Kai bowed to Zhao with respect before he made his leave to train the Quinkan army. Zhao looks at the vial containing the Dragon Mojo.
"Now that we have the final piece to make our army stronger once more, it is time to bring the Pillars and the Pony of Shadows back to Equestria from Limbo." Zhao said sinisterly. "And soon, the world will tremble before me so that no one will be able to stand in my way again."
Zhao chuckled sinisterly before he laughed evilly as his laughter echoed through the night.
