The second episode opened to see Blake stood on the main stage, ready to begin the pre-episode narration, "Last time, on Total Drama Stardom," Blake began the recap, as flashbacks from the previous episode played over his speech.
"We met our thirteen new contestants, and let me say, they're a weird bunch," Blake recalled, as footage of Ally and Colin playing with Herman; and Kevin and Melinda's short fight played over him.
"After a quick tour around the film lot, we immediately began with our first challenge, which should've been a simple kart race around the film lot…" this time, the footage showed the contestants racing around the studio, notably Jack and Rayna.
"But thanks to Tyson crashing through my mansion, some of these guys decided it would be funny to drive right through a very expensive set," the next set of clips were of Tyson crashing through the mansion set, while Forrest watched.
"In the end, Kevin came in last thanks to a little sabotage from Dylan, causing the first elimination of the season, but the chef is now an intern, so he's not fully gone," the next clip was of Kevin's kart getting a popped tire thanks to Dylan's 'weapon'.
"And two teams were formed: The Scarlet Serpents, and The Violet Vultures!" the shot returned to Blake on the stage, as Sunny suddenly ran up, holding a few sheets of paper in his hands.
"I've… got," the femboy huffed out between breaths, "The next… challenge idea… ready."
"That's good," Blake looked down to Sunny, before his eyes narrowed in annoyance, "But I'm in the middle of something here, so let me finish before I take a look."
Sunny just nodded faintly, as Blake got to finishing, "Who will be the next one to be eliminated? Find out right now, on Total! Drama! Stardom!

In the guys' trailer, Colin and Jack were the only ones still in there. The artist had just woken up, while the crab fanatic had Herman out walking on the single desk. The little hermit crab was busy eating a mealworm while Colin watched eagerly, not even noticing that Jack was still there.
Jack, curious to see what was going on, walked up to the desk and noticed Herman. The artist raised an eyebrow in mild confusion, although he didn't really comment much on the crab, grabbing his sketchpad before he got dressed into his regular clothes.
Colin was just about done feeding Herman when he noticed Jack, and the crab fanatic gave the artist a wide smile, "Oh, hi Jack! I was just feeding Herman, do you wanna watch him with me?" he asked, and Jack shrugged, seeing this as a way to get some attention, at least.
"You know what, sure," the artist simply replied, taking out a pencil and beginning to sketch out the hermit crab on the pad since he had nothing better to do, getting the crab fan's attention.
"Ooh, that looks good so far!" Colin complimented, as Herman looked up to the pair. The crab snipped his claws together, much to Colin's joy.
Jack rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, appreciating the compliment, "It's just a start, though… I haven't really added that much to it, at all."
"Well, it's Herman, so it has to be good!" the crab fanatic smiled, and Jack's face turned into one of confusion.
"Thanks? I think?" Jack replied, raising an eyebrow towards the crab fan at the wording.
Colin blinked slightly, not understanding where Jack's confusion came from, as the artist gave the crab fan a mildly annoyed look.
"Are… you just saying that it's good because it's Herman, or is it actually good?" the artist explained, throwing a deadpan expression in the direction of the crab lover.
"Ooh…" Colin nodded in realization, "I think it does look good so far, but because it's, you know, Herman, it makes it so much better! Because crabs make things better than they already are!"
Jack continued to look confused - and now a little bit concerned, but he let out a nod, "I don't get it, but if you say so…" he shrugged, going back to working on the sketch of Herman, occasionally looking back up to the hermit crab to continue his sketch while Colin watched on intently.
Confessional - Jack
"I really don't get Colin's obsession with crabs," the artist shrugged from inside the confessional, "But he's still better conversation than most of my other team-mates, I'll give him that. Ally's constantly role-playing, Victor's an over-competitive weirdo, and Rayna?"
The artist shuddered, "The less said about her, the better."
Confessional - Colin
Colin clapped his hands together, smiling towards the confessional camera, "If it's about crabs, I know all about it!" the crab fan declared dramatically, "For example, did you know that coconut crabs not only can climb trees, but if they eat a certain type of mango, they can actually become poisonous! Terrifying, right?"
Concerningly, the crab fanatic didn't wince or flinch once as he said the crab fact.
Between the two trailers, Riley and Ally were both sat at a picnic table that was set up. The pair were in the middle of a conversation, with Riley asking Ally about her hobbies.
"So, you're a role-player? That's cool!" she smiled to Ally, who let out a dramatic gasp, feeling insulted at being called just a roleplayer.
"How dare you call I'm a fake!" the mage gasped indignantly, clutching onto her staff while glaring towards the helping hand, however a closer look would tell that there were no hard feelings, "My magic is the real deal!"
Riley's face blanked for a moment, but she decided to play along with the role-player, "Well, why don't you show some to me, then?"
The mage let out a smirk that didn't quite reach her eyes, but kept on going, "Very well then. Give me a little space… my smoke spell can be very potent if you get too close."
Nodding, Riley took a step back from the table. Ally dramatically flourished her cloak, brandishing her staff with a smirk on her face and stepping on top of the picnic table. The flourish let loose a small smoke bomb, which fell to the ground and covered the area around her, while Riley let out a small, playful gasp, choosing not to notice the little sleight of hand.
"Behold!" Ally boomed, smirking at Riley's response to her little spell, "And this is but my weakest spell!"
"Ooh, do you wanna show me your stronger ones?" Riley asked, tapping her cheek with her finger while smiling to the role-player.
Ally looked down to Riley, and let out a simple, flat answer, "No."
Riley just gave a small shrug, being perfectly fine with that, "Your choice, then. I don't really mind, so that's fine to me."
Ally was expecting her to persist, and looked towards the helper, shocked, "To be more precise, my more powerful spells would destroy this entire film lot, so naturally it would be unwise to cast them," she said mainly to herself, though Riley still heard her clearly.
Confessional - Ally
Ally looked to the entrance of the confessional, as if checking that nobody was listening in, "Of course, I don't actually believe I'm a mage. But role-playing is my passion, and I wanted to bring it right here to the film lot!"
Confessional - Riley
"All I wanna see is other people happy!" the helper claimed, rummaging through a small backpack as she spoke, "So if they don't wanna do something, or I'd be a bother to them, I'd just leave them alone."
Watching Ally's little trick, Forrest snickered to themselves. The archer was, for some reason, sat on top of one of the other tables, and grinned to themselves as they noticed Ally's little sleight of hand. While they were busy watching Ally, Forrest didn't someone sneak up behind them until they were right up close.
That person turned out to be none other than Rayna, who poked their shoulder with a grin on her face. Forrest looked up at her, and saw that the shipper also had her attention on Ally and Riley… although for entirely different reasons.
"Sooo… when do you think they're gonna sleep together?" the shipper grinned, smirking down to the archer, whose face narrowed in concentration.
"I'd give it a few days," Forrest mused, as the archer scratched their chin in contemplation, "Of course, we have no way of telling what could happen before that. Who knows what challenges we'll get?"
Shrugging, the matchmaker pulled out her notebook and began writing the information down, "Makes sense to me," she said, sticking her tongue out, "I'm still gonna bet on a few days, they're hitting it off way better than some of the other guys around here."
Forrest looked a little bit more interested at that, "Why? What happened?" they asked curiously, raising an eyebrow as they looked up at Rayna.
"Well…" the shipper began, "Let's just say that I doubt Melinda and Dylan are gonna get along well, hehe… unless it's enemies to lovers," she chuckled a little bit as she remembered the interaction.
"Tell me everything," Forrest demanded flatly, "And don't leave anything out."
"If you insist," Rayna said, as she began to explain exactly just what had happened last night.
It was early in the morning, around 5AM - before a good chunk of the cast was awake. Rayna was walking across the film lot, whistling to herself as she looked through her notebook at the various ships she'd already came up with, while figuring out if anyone could work with her.
The shipper's attention was suddenly brought to a halt, however, as something zoomed right past her - Melinda was driving one of the karts from the last challenge, and the aftermath send Rayna's notebook flying. She fortunately managed to catch it mid-air, but curiosity overtook her, so she decided to follow after the mechanic.
Melinda eventually stopped at a small set just outside of the trailers, revealing it to be a small city one - close enough to the trailers to be easily accessible, but not close enough to be too close. The mechanic made a quick look around, making sure that nobody was watching - Rayna hid herself behind a building, and watched closer.
Once she was sure that nobody was watching, Melinda hopped out of the kart, and grabbed a box of tools that she'd placed on the kart. She pulled out a screwdriver, smirking to herself.
"Alright Carl, let's try and open this guy up," she muttered, as she moved to the front of the kart, "Might as well see if I can improve one of these guys."
Rayna jotted down that Melinda names her tools in the shipping book ('Maybe a heart of gold type of person?'), before she notice that someone else had showed up. That somebody was none other than Dylan, who ran as fast as he could into the seat of the kart, a Cheshire grin filling his face.
Once Melinda was about to start trying to find the engine, Dylan drove the kart backwards just a little bit - enough to get her to look up at him in an angry glare.
"Get back here!" she demanded, chasing after Dylan, who started reversing the kart as she kept getting closer. The gremlin was cackling to himself, as Melinda chased after him. The two kept going like this for a while, until Melinda managed to outspeed Dylan. The mechanic kicked the troublemaker out of the seat, leaving him on the ground as she drove the vehicle back to her previous position.
Dylan fortunately - or unfortunately, depending on who you are - got back up, and ran off, giggling to himself at his prank as Melinda rolled her eyes. The mechanic went back to doing what she was doing prior to Dylan's intrusion, and Rayna lost interest.
The shipper passively walked away, hands in her jacket pockets as she took the walk back to the trailers.
"Dang, wish I could've seen that…" Forrest sighed dejectedly as Rayna finished her tale.
"Eh, it wasn't that funny," Rayna shrugged, as her attention was brought back to Riley and Ally, "Anyways, bye, I've got some ships I need to sail!"
Confessional - Rayna
Rayna had a smug look on her face as she sat with her legs on the desk in the make-up trailer, "I can already smell the ships happening," the shipper grinned, "So, now it's just who'll it be first? Sooo, I can sit back and try and play the field myself."
Confessional - Dylan
Dylan was still slightly scratched up, though the prankster didn't seem to mind, "Ahaha!" he laughed to himself, "That was nothing, believe me. I can be so, so much worse!"
Just behind the two trailers, Tyson and Victor had managed to set up a make-shift basketball court,, which the two athletic teens were currently competing against each other to get the highest score - nobody else wanted to join them, with reasons ranging from feeding their crab to just being fast asleep. The two had taped a basketball hoop to a pole.
Tyson managed to outplay Victor, the athlete getting the ball into the basket and pumping his fist in victory, letting out a short victory whoop as their small game ended. Victor nodded at the outcome, the powerhouse not seeming all too annoyed.
"Good game, man," Tyson congratulated Victor immediately, throwing a thumbs up in the direction of the powerhouse. The muscular teen crossed his arms, flashing a smirk to the athlete in response.
Tyson held the ball underneath his arm as he moved over to the powerhouse, putting his fist out for a fist pump, "Seriously, well played dude. We should have another round sometime, after whatever the challenge is, right bro?"
"Sounds good to me," Victor smirked, as Tyson quickly ran back into the guys' trailer to put the basketball away, coming out just as quickly as he went in. The athlete moved to Victor's side, as the two walked over to the - thankfully not on fire - mess hall to get some breakfast.
Confessional - Victor
"Finally…" Victor spoke to the confessional, a smirk overtaking his face as he thought, "a worthy opponent. Tyson's physically strong enough to be a true rival for me. While I obviously out-class him mentally…" Victor tapped his head with a finger, "he's definitely determined enough to keep up."
The two physical powerhouses soon entered the building, which was a large wooden structure very much like the one from Island, with two tables set with six seats at each. A counter was set-up, where Kevin and an unnamed intern were both serving up pancakes for the contestants' breakfast - the chef had to slap the other guy's hand away. May and Celeste were the only other ones currently in the building, with both the daydreamer and the astronomer not really paying the other one too much mind, though Celeste cast Tyson and Victor a wave as they entered.
The two athletic teens made their way to the counter, and the two picked up some pancakes and made their way to the empty table, both of them setting their meals down and beginning to eat.
While Tyson and Victor chowed down, Celeste decided to try and break the ice with May, who was just asleep face first on her last pancake.
"Hey," the astronomer spoke politely, gently tapping on May's shoulder. The daydreamer lazily moved her head up from her plate, propping her head on her elbow, which she leant on the table.
May vacantly looked towards Celeste, who calmly waited for her to properly wake up. The daydreamer had a mildly annoyed look on her face for a second due to being woken up, although it quickly faded into her usual absent expression.
"Um, hello?" Celeste waved a hand in front of May's face, as the daydreamer hardly even seemed to notice her.
"Oh… hi…" May lazily yawned out, as Celeste let out an internal sigh of relief that she'd responded.
Celeste gave the daydreamer a patient smile, as she decided to try and make some more small talk with the drowsy girl, "Is there any reason in particular you signed up for this?" she asked, "Personally, I'm here for the experience more than anything else."
With her free hand, May let out a small shrug, "I guess… out of curiosity," she replied, raising an eyebrow to the astronomer, who just nodded.
"That's fair," Celeste replied, pushing aside her empty plate, "How're you liking the team, anyway? I think we've got a pretty fun group."
May looked up at Celeste from where she was sat, lazily yawning before she replied, "They're okay, I guess. But they're not my type of people."
Celeste stared at May blankly, surprised, "You already don't like them? I'd at least give them a shot before you start hating them. And - I don't mean to be rude - but you haven't talked with any of them, like, at all. You've just been sleeping… a lot."
The daydreamer shook herself awake, as she coincidentally was falling into a daydream as Celeste spoke, "Just some… simple first impressions on them… that's all."
The astronomer just nodded, "Well, if you say so. But they might grow on you, who knows?"
As Celeste looked to her side, May's eyes were shut closed again, and the astronomer playfully rolled her eyes as she stood up to walk out of the mess hall.
Confessional - Celeste
"Personally? I think May does have a bit of a point," Celeste noted, raising a finger up as she spoke to the confessional, "I doubt our team will be the best at working together. So, I'm thinking I'll probably have to step in as the team leader. I'd rather not, but it'd be for the best, I think."
However, Celeste was stopped when Blake and Sunny burst into the mess hall, followed by the other eight contestants who weren't already there. From their table, Tyson and Victor looked to the hosts, as everyone else filled in.
"So, how're you enjoying the film lot? Pretty neat, huh?" Blake asked the cast, to no answer, "More importantly, I think you all know exactly what time it is… time for our first real challenge!"
Some of the contestants exchanged nervous glances at this news, while others looked pretty excited, as Blake continued his explanation, coughing to get everyone's undivided attention, "One very important part of the movies is, of course, the acting. Which is precisely what today's challenge is all about!"
Rayna smirked at the news, and Colin pumped a small fist, though others were much less pleased - Melinda scoffed as she rolled her eyes, while May let out a short, defeated sigh.
Sunny piped up, the femboy moving right in front of Blake to continue explaining to the contestants, "Well, we'll need to all move out to the big stage, so without further ado… let's go!"
The femboy began the walk to the main stage, with the cast following him out, leaving Blake alone by himself.
"Did… did I just get overshadowed on my own show?" Blake asked nobody in particular, his mouth gaping open as Victor closed the mess hall door behind him.
"Sure looks like it," Kevin commented from the counter, meticulously rubbing it with a cloth as Blake turned around.
"How long have you been here?" Blake asked, as he turned away to start walking.
"The entire time," the chef commented flatly, raising an eyebrow towards the host, who was now gone, as the door swung close, "He's gone, looks like it's back to jus' me an' the kitchen, then."
At the stage itself, Blake rushed onto the stage, pushing Sunny aside to get the spotlight back to himself. Sunny stumbled a little bit, but the femboy picked himself right back up and stood besides Blake, as usual.
"For this challenge, you'll have to design a set; and act out a scene for myself, Sunny and Kevin. We'll judge you out of 30 based on performance, and set design," Blake began to explain, "I don't trust some of you guys to write stuff that's safe to put on TV if left to yourselves-"
"Guilty," Rayna smirked from the Serpents' seats, while Dylan snickered from the Vultures' bleachers.
"So Sunny and the interns wrote up a few baselines for scenes - you'll still have to make the actual content up. Serpents, you guys get to choose which one you'd like to do, so, take a look," Blake threw five envelopes towards the Serpents, which all of them minus Jack caught, "But no peeking, you have to pick based on name alone!"
The six grouped into a huddle - or, more accurately, five of them went into a huddle while Jack stood awkwardly to a side.
"Let's see," Riley gestured for all of the scripts to be handed to her, to which the others obliged, "We've got… 'Two Lovers', 'Space Episode', 'Fantasy Epic', 'Comedy Sketch' and 'Final Showdown'... pretty basic names, but what do you guys think we should choose?"
Immediately, some people knew what they were going to pick, "The romance one!" Rayna settled on, grinning to the rest of the team.
"We should do the fight scene!" Victor suggested aggressively, though he was drowned out by Ally.
Ally didn't seem pleased at all, "Enough! We shall choose… the fantasy one!" she declared for everybody else, raising her staff to the sky, and Blake caught on.
"Alright, Serpents, you guys will be doing 'Fantasy Epic'... nice names, by the way," he snarked to Sunny, who rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.
"I tried my best last night, haha," the femboy chuckled, as the sarcasm completely flew over his head.
"Now, for the Vultures' little… 'punishment'," Blake put his fingers up into air-quotes as he explained, "Serpents, you guys choose which one you'd like the Vultures to act out."
Rayna immediately knew what to do, "They'll be doing the romance one!" she decided immediately, causing almost all of the Vultures to groan at the announcement.
Colin, fortunately, came to their rescue, "How about the comedy?!" he piped up, causing Rayna to scowl at him.
Confessional - Rayna
The shipper had her arms crossed in the confessional, "Look, if I can't try my shot with somebody on my team, I'd at least like to see some of the other guys kiss, or something like that. A little consolation prize, you know?"
Rayna wasn't gonna be stopped, though, and pushed forward, "Oh no, you guys ruined the ship-teasing on this team, I think it's fair I get to see the romance scene, right?"
The rest of the team exchanged slightly nervous glances - other than Victor, who rolled his eyes at Rayna's insistence.
"No, I think we should give them the hardest one," Victor contested, "So, the sci-fi one!"
Blake looked at an imaginary watch on his wrist impatiently, while Sunny spoke up, "Could you guys please hurry up?" he requested.
Victor immediately put his hand over Rayna's mouth, silencing her, "They'll be doing the space one!" he quickly got out, and the Vultures let out a collective sigh in relief.
"Space Episode it is, then!" Blake shouted out, as Riley threw the three unused envelopes back at him, all of which unceremoniously flopped onto the floor. Rayna crossed her arms and let out an annoyed huff, but overall didn't seem too annoyed. Riley handed the envelope containing 'Space Episode' to Celeste, who just gave the helper a thumbs up in thanks.
Confessional - Rayna
Rayna was back in the confessional, and leant her feet on the desk with her hands behind her head, "Okay, not getting the romance option for either team is sad, yes…" she admitted, looking slightly downcast.
"But, on the bright side, it's all too possible that one of these scenarios has something good for me," she chuckled, "So I'm not that worked up about it."
A quick cut showed the two teams - plus the hosts, of course - gathered in front of two blank sets - one had a grassy texture on the floor and a fake skyline, and the other one had shining gray floor and wall. Between the two sets was what looked like a massive pile of props, although not all of them fit the theme of either set.
"For the first half of the challenge, you'll have to design a set for your movie - so I think it'd be a good idea to read through those sort-of scripts, if I were you," Blake explained, prompting Celeste and Ally - who had snatched the envelope from Riley - to start reading through them.
"You can use anything you find in the massive prop pile behind me!" Sunny announced cheerfully, "And… go!"
Blake rolled his eyes, as the two teams rushed to the pile, grabbing literally anything they could get their hands on.
On the Vultures' side, Celeste had began reading through the script for their scene, nodding as she checked through it, "Alright… looks like this is a murder mystery sort of thing… 'one person died, and the five surviving crewmates attempt to figure out whodunnit.' Sounds simple enough." she mused, scratching her chin as she turned to her team's blank set.
"Yeah, I think I've got an idea on how to organize everything," she said to herself, "And what I think we'll probably need for the set."
Celeste walked back to the prop pile… which was already looking like a mess, with some props flying everywhere as people scrambled to grab stuff. Forrest, Jack, Riley and May were stood off to the side, watching the mayhem happen - Ally quickly made her way to the top of the pile, but a stray box thrown by Dylan knocked her back down; Melinda and Victor were playing tug-of-war with a pole, ending with it getting torn in two; Rayna and Colin were just grabbing whatever they could get their hands on, while Tyson was simply throwing things behind himself to try and find something particularly good.
Celeste rubbed the back of her head awkwardly, "Alright then… hey guys!" she called out to the other Vultures, getting all of their attention, "I've got a plan, so, could you guys please come over here a sec?"
Dylan, Melinda and Tyson all ran over to join Celeste, and Forrest tilted their head in recognition. Celeste gestured for them to move over to their set, and they all obliged, even if Tyson had to poke May to get her to join them.
"Alright," Celeste began to explain as the group went into a huddle, "Our script's a murder mystery, so-"
Melinda cut her off, "Who died and made YOU leader?" she butted in, aggressively glaring towards the astronomer, who raised her arms up.
"Look, I've read the baseline, so let me explain" the astronomer rebutted calmly, pointing a finger up, "So I've got an idea for what we should do - we need a murderer, four crewmates, and a body."
May, surprisingly, spoke up, "I can be the body, I think I'd be better there than… uh… the rest of the acts," she simply said, looking towards the mechanic and astronomer.
"Alright then," Celeste stated flatly, before she turned to the other five members, "We're gonna need a murderer as well, so… any volunteers?"
"Ooh, me!" Dylan piped up, grinning, "I've got experience murdering people, so this'll be a piece of cake! In case you're too stupid to realise, that was a lie! I haven't killed anyone… yet," he finished with a wink and a grin.
Celeste paled slightly as he lied, though nodded along anyway, "All… righty then. So, May's the body, Dylan's the murderer, and the rest of us - so me, Melinda, Forrest and Tyson, we'll be the crewmates. We can decide more when we get to it, but it's good to plan ahead," she explained to the others.
"Makes sense to me," Forrest nodded, resting their hands behind their head, "Anyways, we should probably split now, right?"
Celeste threw a thumbs-up their way, but Melinda wasn't pleased, "In case you numbskulls haven't figured it out, this idiot hasn't even told us what our act's set is!"
The astronomer let out a deeply annoyed sigh, "I was getting to that, so please be patient - it's a pretty simple sci-fi storage room. So any boxes, or the like, would be good, okay?"
"Sounds good to me, let's go team!" Tyson cheered, running off as the other members followed, eager to be out of the awkward huddle.
Confessional - Melinda
Melinda had her arms crossed in the confessional, and a scowl was plastered onto her face. "Who does Celeste think she is, acting as our 'leader'," she snorted, "If anything, I should be the team leader, but I don't really think we need one."
Confessional - Jack
"Forget everything bad I've ever said about my team, the Vultures are infinitely worse," the artist admitted with a slightly relieved smile, "My teammates might be a little bit weird, but they're nothing compared to those guys. Don't get me wrong, they still get on my nerves though. Especially Rayna."
Meanwhile, on the Serpents, they just had a rather large pile of whatever they'd managed to pick up - assorted poles, boxes, walls, flags and the like laid in a massive pile in the center, around which the entire team was gathered.
"Alright then," Ally smirked, grabbing the envelope, "Let's see what we've got… ohoho… a castle! I've got some experience with those, this should be easy."
Colin beamed, immediately having a great idea, "Ooh! What if we built a crab castle?" he suggested, though it was met with awkward silence.
"Good idea, anybody else got one?" Riley asked politely, as Colin just sighed, looking down to Herman, "Th-that isn't to say your idea's bad, or anything, we should just try some other ones!"
Ally, firmly in her element, immediately knew what she was doing, "I believe a simple stronghold should work, yes?" she span her staff around dramatically, smirking, "Since our quest seems to be a typical 'save the princess' one, it would work."
"Sounds fair to me," Victor nodded from where he leant against the side of the stage, "I'll build this thing, the rest of you are all scrawny nerds anyway, so you'd just get in my way."
He was met with a few thumbs up from Rayna and Colin, while Jack just rolled his eyes from the other side of the Serpents' stage, feeling mildly insulted.
"I could decorate it - I am an artist, you know," the artist asked… to no response, causing him to sigh, annoyed at being forgotten.
While Jack was being ignored, Ally finished reading through the script, and smirked, "We'll need a brave knight, a noble princess, the knight's two squires, an evil mage and their henchman. Naturally, I'll take the mage role, even if dark magic is not my forte."
Rayna smirked, joining the conversation immediately, "Well, I think being the princess would be fun~" she admitted, grinning as Ally noted that down.
Riley also immediately had a role in mind, "I'll just take a squire role, I'm not too fussed about getting a more exciting one, so you guys can choose!"
Victor snatched the script from Ally's hands, and, after a quick read of the script, knew which role he was taking, "The knight's the most important one, I'll take that one," he declared, to which Rayna nodded.
"Ooh, me and Herman can be your loyal followers!" Colin asked Ally, to which the roleplayer nodded. Jack knew exactly what role he'd been shafted with, prompting another roll of his eyes.
"Fine then, Rayna, you, Jack and Colin go get stuff, while the rest of us will decorate, got it?" Victor demanded, getting nods out of his team, "Then let's get to it!"
Confessional - Victor
"If I am to fight Tyson in the finale, it would be no use if either of us are out before then, hm?" he asked rhetorically, pushing his glasses down a little, "Since the finale is obviously a physical challenge, I'd like to be challenged in it, you know? So none of those other losers should make it there. Melinda could be a challenge, hypothetically, but I doubt May or Colin would be worth my while."
At the pile, Forrest, Melinda and Celeste were all looking through the piles, although Melinda kept glaring at Celeste from her part of the pile.
"Ugh, why'd she have to take charge," she muttered under her breath, throwing a lamp over her shoulder and hitting Forrest in the face with it.
Celeste, who was just calmly looking through the pile, noticed Melinda, and approached the mechanic with a small smile, "Oh, hey Melinda," she waved, "Any luck with prop searching?"
"Nope, nothing," Melinda replied very quickly, not even looking at the astronomer, "I can handle this."
"Is something wrong?" Celeste asked, rubbing the back of her head as she grabbed a box and put it aside, "Since as the, uh, makeshift team leader, I think I should help you with this, right?"
"Who made you team leader?" the mechanic growled, throwing yet another thing backwards at Forrest, who narrowly dodged it. The archer themself had stopped searching entirely, too transfixed on the growing tension to continue looking, so they climbed the pile to get a better look.
"I'm just the temporary leader - just between you and me, I think this team really needs someone in charge," she whispered loudly under her breath, even if Melinda wasn't looking at her.
"Then why you and not me?" Melinda asked aggressively, though she did nod in mild agreement about her teammates, "Since I think I'd be able to lead them so much better than you!"
Celeste clenched her teeth and squinted at the mechanic, but kept her cool, "Okay then. How about, when we get back, you can lead them? Sound good?"
"Sure, fine," Melinda scoffed, as she rolled her eyes, "Now leave me alone, I can find props myself."
Celeste cast a thumbs up, and prepared to leave, but Forrest threw the lamp from earlier across the pile, getting both of their attention… albeit aimed at them.
"Haha…" they chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of their neck, "You didn't see anything… just ignore me and get back to arguing, okay?"
Neither Celeste or Melinda acknowledged the archer, who sighed dejectedly as the two girls split off, "Shame, that was starting to get fun," Forrest muttered to themself, raising an eyebrow as they walked away.
Confessional - Forrest
"Don't mistake me for someone who wants to start fights," the archer explained in the confessional, as they rested their legs on the desk much like Rayna, "I just like watching them - interesting things get my attention."
On the other side of the pile, Jack, Colin and Rayna were also looking for some final props for the Serpents' set. Currently, the trio were placing a couple of flags they'd found in a smaller pile they'd created, which also contained a few banners, and a couple of fake bushes.
"I think that's everything we need!" Rayna smirked, "So now, we can just relax once we get them back to the stage, but I think we've earnt ourselves a little break."
"Sounds good to me, I haven't checked on Herman for a while!" Colin agreed, taking Herman's terrarium out of his satchel to make sure that his crab friend was alright, letting out a relieved sigh when he saw the crab snip his little claws at him from within the terrarium.
"Wouldn't it just be easier to put them back at the stage, then take a break?" Jack pointed out, as he placed dropped his flag onto the pile, looking at Rayna with a look of mild annoyance.
"You'd think so," Rayna began to explain, tapping a finger against her head, "But Ally or Victor would probably just set us another task, right?"
"Makes sense to me!" Colin replied from where he was stood, placing a mealworm into Herman's terrarium as he spoke, having already put his flag in the pile before-hand and thus choosing to spend their short break with his beloved crab, "And besides, I can tell you all about crabs while we wait!"
"Fair," Jack agreed, as he took out his sketchpad, deciding to continue his drawing of Herman, which piqued Rayna's interest, "But please don't," he bluntly asked Colin, who just shrugged and went back to very real crab in front of him.
A grin overtook Rayna's face, as the shipper turned to the two guys, "When are you two gonna make out?" she bluntly asked the pair - Jack flinched back, walking backwards with a look of disgust on his face, while Colin was far too focused on Herman to even acknowledge her.
"What the heck?" Jack shouted in sheer shock, "You can't just ask people that, right Colin?"
The artist turned around, and deadpanned as he saw Colin ignoring both him and Rayna, since the crab fanatic's attention was too focused on Herman. He looked up to the other two, and chuckled sheepishly.
"Sorry, what are you guys talking about?" Colin rubbed the back of his head awkwardly with his free hand, still keeping Herman's terrarium firmly clutched in his other hand.
"Shipping," Rayna bluntly said with a smirk on her face, hoping for a reaction.
"Oh, well, I'm not looking for a relationship, crabs are my one true love!" Colin declared, much to Rayna's dismay, but the shipper just rolled her eyes in annoyance before turning and leaving.
"Welp, I'm not needed here anymore, I'm gonna go back to the set, enjoy your crabs or whatever" she snarked back to Colin, as Jack let out a sigh of relief.
"Finally, she's gone, let's just…" Jack was about to speak to Colin, but the crab fanatic had also left, leaving Jack alone… with all of the props, "And he's gone as well. Just great… now I have to carry everything."
Confessional - Rayna
"Well, that's some more ships off of the radar," she groaned, getting a red marker out and crossing a bunch through her notepad, "Where can a girl find some good potential relationships around here, somebody around here's gotta have somebody else they wanna fuck!"
At the Vulture stage, Tyson was busy trying to sort out his team's set, moving boxes and wires to try and create an electrical room. The athlete placed a fake vent cover on the floor in a corner, before he turned to the two team-mates with him, May and Dylan… neither of which were getting much done - May was resting on a director's chair, while Dylan was just following Tyson around and occasionally moving items so that they were in the completely wrong places.
The latter chuckled deviously to himself after knocking down a box from a pile, shocking May awake and alerting Tyson to turn around to see what was happening.
"Whoops, sorry, that was a complete and utter accident, I saw a bird and got distracted," Dylan smirked, his lie easily fooling Tyson, who just shrugged and went back to decorating.
May, on the other hand, wasn't fooled, and the daydreamer walked up to Dylan, "That… was a pretty poor lie," she bluntly told the troublemaker, who just grinned and laughed it off.
"I know, right?" Dylan admitted, the troublemaker shrugging and throwing a grin towards May, "Usually I have to actually try, but that guy's so stupid I didn't even have to, haha!"
May looked awkwardly between the box on the floor and the prankster in front of her, rubbing the back of her head, "Alright then…" she yawned, "Should we… uh… do something about it?"
"Nope!" Dylan boldly claimed, a grin overtaking his face, "And anyways, aren't we making some worn-down electrical room? I think a fallen box adds to that, I was simply doing us a favour!"
"You know…" May said, but she stopped as she realised that Dylan was actually right, "Huh. It works."
Dylan walked forward, with May slowly following him, "So… whaddya say about making Tyson's set so much better?" he asked the daydreamer, who just shrugged in response.
"Uh… sure?" she replied, her eyes not really focused on Dylan, instead looking practically anywhere else with their usual absent look.
"Alrighty then, glad to have you aboard!" Dylan spread his arms out, a slightly manic grin forming, "And for your first job, you're gonna have to go and distract Tyson!"
"You're kidding… right?" May sighed dejectedly, "I'm not… good at that stuff."
"Just relax, it's as easy as the time I left a guy in a pitfall for an hour," Dylan placed his hands behind his head, as May squinted skeptically.
"Another lie?" she guessed easily, causing Dylan's grin to grow.
"You got me!" Dylan admitted, "Man, I need to step up my lie game, you're good!"
May raised an eyebrow, mildly confused, before Dylan continued, the troublemaker keeping a close eye on Tyson's retreating form, "And, I actually said another lie earlier, we don't even need to distract Tyson, since he's just about done, anyway! I just wanted to mess with you with that one, hehe."
May's face went back to its usual relaxed expression, as the daydreamer let out a yawn, falling into a daydream. The daydreamer slouched forward slightly, as her eyes closed shut.
"Hey, don't just ignore me!" Dylan pouted childishly, crossing his arms before he flicked May on the nose, bringing her right back to reality.
May looked towards Dylan, annoyed at getting woken up, "Let's just… get this over with…" she yawned out, walking further into the set, in order to start Dylan's plan.
"That's the spirit, buddy!" the prankster called out to her, as he bounced along with her, knocking over a separate pile of crates as he did so.
Confessional - Dylan
"The truth is boring… there's only one of it, and I don't even get to choose," the troublemaker complained to the confessional camera, "So… I choose to lie instead! With lies, I get to decide exactly what happens, and nobody knows better except me. Which makes May even funner, I have to actually work to lie to her!"
Confessional - May
The drowsy girl raised an eyebrow, with a look of sheer confusion on her face, "I'm… on Dylan's good side… I think? Not sure… if that's a good thing or not… but I don't… fully trust him…"
Meanwhile, with the Serpents' set, Ally, Victor and Riley were busy building the castle… or more accurately, Victor was trying to build the castle by himself, moving the near-complete set pieces, while Ally and Riley were attempting to help him out, much to his annoyance.
"I don't need your help, shove off!" the powerhouse growled to the pair, causing Riley to flinch back with her arms raised in surrender.
"Alright, alright, you're in charge of building this, I'll just walk off and do something else, don't mind me, haha" the pushover stammered out quickly, although she was stopped by Ally, who pushed her staff out to stop Riley from moving further back, catching the helper off-guard.
"I believe it would be much better if we were to assist - and besides, the rest of our scene has already been set," Ally explained, and true to her word, the rest of the scene had been created already - trees, bushes, and flagpoles had been set across the stage, and even the lights had been strategically aimed for dramatic effect.
Victor scowled at the sound logic, but didn't relent yet, "Tch. Well, I've been getting my part done well without you two, so you two can just… sit around and do nothing while I finish!" the powerhouse demanded, and Ally looked less than impressed.
"Well, I think your one-man project needs a little magic to spice things up!" Ally declared, grabbing a few flags and planting them on top of the castle wall that had already been set up, with a single small tower also having been moved forward.
Victor crossed his arms in annoyance, although he didn't put the flags down, as he thought over and weighed his options for a quick second, "Fine," he huffed out, "You two can help - just move that tower over here and everything should be done."
Riley gave a quick thumbs up at the order, and the helper swiftly started trying to push the tower by herself, much to Ally and Victor's bewilderment. The two exchanged a quick glance, before Victor moved from where he was to just push the tower by himself - when Victor started pushing, Riley kept on trying to push it harder anyways. While those two were moving the tower, Ally was busy decorating what was already there, throwing down some maroon flags with a red symbol onto the single main wall.
Victor, with Riley's minimal help, managed to push the tower behind the wall, and Ally used her staff to 'levitate' (by levitate it was just her propping the flag on the end of her staff and awkwardly fumbling it around) it up to the top of the tower, finishing off the Serpents' set.
"See? With a full party, this became so much easier!" Ally proudly stated, looking over their finished set, which actually looked pretty good.
"Yep! So… what now?" Riley asked, the helper turning to the other two, "Do… we start working on the actual acting parts? Or should we just wait?"
"Rehearsing. We don't need to wait, we can add them when they finally get over here," Victor immediately answered, noticing the other members of his team over the horizon.
Back with the Vultures, Celeste arrived… and was immediately shocked by the sight in front of her, her jaw dropping to the ground. Tyson was also staring at his team's set with a similar expression, while May, his - admittedly reluctant - partner in crime, was just daydreaming on the spot as usual. Props were just… haphazardly strewn around everywhere, with too little care to even be called an organized mess… it was merely a mess.
"Whaddya think? Pretty good improvements, right?" Dylan grinned, the troublemaker stood on the edge of the stage, resting his hands behind his head.
"Dylan, I'm going to be honest, I don't think we can use it at all," Celeste shook her head disapprovingly, in particular looking at one completely broken crate, which left tons of broken shards on the ground.
"Yeah, bro, I worked hard on that!" Tyson complained, throwing his head down in shame, "It was looking so good, too…"
"Well, that's too bad, isn't it?" Dylan's grin never faltered, as he accidentally stepped on one of the shards and winced mildly in pain… proving Celeste's point entirely, "Oww… okay okay, fine, I'll get rid of the sharp ones… but otherwise, you're all gonna have to suffer with my mess, ahaha!"
Confessional - May
"At first… it was just little things," May recalled, tapping her finger to her cheek with her usual absent look, "Then… I started daydreaming… maybe fell asleep… and when I was back in reality… it was like that."
Just then, Melinda walked back to the Vultures' set with a few things, and noticed everyone was there, "Finally! Let's actually get to practising our act, we don't know when the hosts are gonna make us stop!"
"Sounds good to me, bro!" Tyson threw a thumbs-up her way, and stepped up to the set, which was still messy, albeit less than what it was before, because Dylan just threw all of the health hazards on the floor behind it.
"One… three… five…" Celeste counted their heads, double-checking something, "We're missing somebody. Where's Forrest?"
She was met with a small assortment of shrugs and unsure, "Okay, I guess we can fill them in when they get back, so let's get doing this, shall we?"
Speaking of Forrest, they had snuck out to the mess hall with a very specific mission in mind. The archer had their bow and a few arrows for some reason, and snuck in through the front door of the mess hall… which was counterproductive, yes, but they had their reasons. Inside the mess hall, Kevin was naturally still at the counter, just sat waiting for his cue to start judging. However, Forrest's actual target was a large bottle of ketchup right next to him.
The archer's entrance alerted Kevin, who was just confused that somebody actually entered the mess hall at the time, "What are you doing?" he inquired curiously, looking at the archer confused, "Shouldn't you be at the challenge?"
"I'm getting something," Forrest replied, as they approached the counter, further irritating Kevin, "For the challenge."
"What is it?" the chef asked, starting to lose his patience with the ever-smug archer, who had a self-assured grin on their face as always. The archer pointed their bow at Kevin so that he wouldn't move, getting closer and closer to him and their real target.
Forrest then suddenly sprung forward, grabbing the ketchup, before they sprinted out of the mess hall, Kevin right at their heels, "Why the fuck do you need all of that ketchup?" he asked in shock, "Scratch that, why do you need ketchup at all? It's an acting challenge!"
"Reasons," the archer replied vaguely, before they disappeared deeper into the film lot by taking a quick turn into the racetrack set, since they were unsurprisingly faster than Kevin. The chef sighed in frustration, before he walked back into the mess hall, choosing not to pursue them any further as it wasn't worth it.
Confessional - Forrest
"I thought this could be pretty useful, given our theme," the archer told the confessional, flipping the bottle of ketchup in one hand, "And between the lousy security and my great sense of direction, it was easy as pie. I'm not telling the others, though. Element of surprise."
A short montage began to play, of various mishaps that occurred as the teams rehearsed their scenes:
Victor was storming the castle, but his height made him hit the top wall, where Colin, Herman, Ally and Rayna were waiting. He knocked Herman down, and the crab pinched him on the nose as Colin went down to get his crab back, as Victor winced in pain.
The Vultures - save for May, who was just laid on the floor - were about to gasp in shock at the 'body' of their teammate, however all suspense was ruined when Dylan 'accidentally' pushed Forrest over, laughing to himself… even if nobody else was amused.
Jack, who wasn't entirely sure what he was supposed to do, was stood in front of the castle set. Ally, who didn't notice he was there at all, jumped down… and landed firmly on him, knocking the artist face-first onto the floor.
Melinda was about to announce who the killer was, but she was interrupted by Tyson, who had accidentally walked into one of the boxes, ruining all of the tension.
"Alright contestants, that's enough time, everybody - and I mean everybody - move over to the sets pronto, we've got a show to start!" Blake called out over the livespeaker, and fortunately for him, everybody was already at the sets. Well, except for Forrest, but they soon arrived as well. Blake, Sunny and Kevin were all sat at a booth, which was situated right between the two sets, although both it and the hosts' seats had wheels, fortunately.
Kevin just waved towards his former co-competitors, while Sunny gave a more enthusiastic peace sign, speaking before Blake could, "So… Vultures! You guys are up first, 'kay?"
A quick cut brought the Vultures to their set, while the Serpents were simply sat on some bleachers, waiting for the Vultures to start. The team had their set in the electrical room, and May was lying on the floor to play the role of the dead body. Pre-the actual performance, though, Forrest came up to her, holding the bottle of ketchup, and just began pouring it on top of her as 'blood'.
"Just some little details," they whispered, not getting a response out of the daydreamer, who was still just lying there, not at all reacting to the sauce, before Forrest just jumped off the stage to not ruin the suspense.
"And… begin!" Blake called out, and the Vultures began their murder mystery performance…
—
The Vultures began with Celeste and Tyson walking into the set - Celeste was properly in character, with a serious expression on her face, while Tyson was trying the same thing, and to his credit, he was… mostly… getting it right, but it was clear he wasn't as into the role as his teammate.
"We've just got to do some wiring tasks," Celeste confirmed, "So let's… just… oh no…"
The astronomer's eyes widened in fake horror upon seeing May's 'dead' body - although completely real surprise at the ketchup.
"Do you smell ketchup?" Tyson asked, completely and utterly killing any suspense, getting a snicker out of those in the stands.
Confessional - Celeste
The astronomer, in sheer disappointment, brought a palm to her face, "Where did all the ketchup come from? I don't remember anyone getting it… but I have a hunch on who."
As if on-cue, the other three members of the team arrived on-stage - Melinda rolled her eyes at Tyson's idiocy, Forrest wasn't fazed at all, and Dylan let out a massively over-dramatic gasp at May's 'death'.
"Well… who killed her?" Forrest asked simply, choosing to stick to the original plans. The archer raised their finger to the air, "Since there's only the five of us on the ship, the killer has to be among us, don't they?"
Celeste nodded, thankful that the team was getting back on track, "So, anyone got any clues?"
Dylan began rummaging through his pockets, grinning mischievously to himself, but Melinda beat him to speaking, "Of course not, we've only just figured out she fucking died, dumbass!"
The astronomer clenched her teeth in slight frustration, but didn't let that get in the way, "Fair point," she gave in, "So we need to look around - and get some alibis."
In the stands, Rayna let out a slight yawn, getting bored of the Vultures' performance, and the three hosts were similarly not amused.
"I was in security," Forrest blankly added, "I just waiting for something interesting to happen… nothing did, you guys are pretty boring."
Everybody - save for a now snoring May, causing a deadpan from those in the stands - gave the archer a dirty look as they shrugged it off, "Geez, okay, well if you guys did something interesting instead of just walking around and doing tasks, then I wouldn't say that, would I?" they came up with on the spot, "But back to the actually interesting stuff, I think I saw Dylan go into here a while ago… that's a bit suspicious, isn't it?"
"Well…" the troublemaker rested his arms behind his head, not looking worried at all, "I think I know exactly who did it - actually, I saw them," he announced, as Celeste and Tyson exchanged a glance, "In fact, I'll tell all of you exactly who it is," Dylan began to reach to the nearest pile of boxes, placing a hand on the second lowest box, "Me!"
As he announced the 'grand reveal', Dylan pushed the second lowest box down, knocking the entire pile of boxes down onto the team, crashing onto Tyson and Melinda, the two closest to the stack. The two muscular teens were fortunately able to withstand the force, but while Tyson just scratched where the boxes hit him, Melinda was fuming.
The mechanic glared at Dylan, who just threw a shit-eating grin in her direction. Clenching her teeth in anger, she threw a punch right at the prankster's face, knocking the gremlin right onto the floor. Winces filled the air, as the mechanic rolled up a sleeve, "Somebody's gotta teach him to stop, so let me at him!"
Fortunately (for Dylan), Celeste took initiative and held Melinda back, causing Forrest to just look at the hosts in a deadpan as the disaster unfurled behind them, "Well… that's it. It's over."
The hosts and chef exchanged glances and murmurs, as they contemplated over their scores. Kevin was the first to reveal his, holding up a four on a sheet of paper, "It just got worse and worse as it went on. But I do like the set," he commented, rolling his eyes.
Sunny was up next, and the femboy held up a seven, "I thought it was kinda funny at times, but it could've been better, I think. Just see this as a way to improve!"
Blake was last, and he held up a three, "What Kevin said. Man, do you guys suck at show business - breaking character, breaking props, sleeping on the job AND fighting amongst crewmates? Terrible performance, everyone. You're only"
The Vultures disappointedly - well, mostly, Forrest was in their usual laid-back mood and Dylan looking proud of his mess - made their way off the stage, with a still-bruised Tyson slinging May over his shoulders as he left.
Confessional - May
"Well… that was a disaster… even though I wasn't fully paying attention, I think I get the team… dynamics… now…" the daydreamer yawned, as she absent-mindedly ran a finger through her hair, getting ketchup stuck to it. The daydreamer flicked the ketchup onto the walls, looking at it in disgust, "I understand why ketchup… but… it's gross."
Confessional - Forrest
The archer was rubbing their hands together, a slight grin forming, "Ohoho, so that's how it'll be on this team. Gotta say, I'm very looking forward to seeing how this keeps going, seems like it's a pretty good show."
Confessional - Dylan
Dylan looked like he'd just won the lottery, a cheshire grin filling his face, "Well, I think I did good today, I ruined our team's shot at winning. Sure, they might wanna vote me off if we lost… but I've got plans if that happens! I'm impossible to get rid of, ahaha!"
"Alright then… Serpents, that's the act you've gotta follow. Shouldn't be too hard, I think," Blake announced, throwing in an underhanded comment to the Vultures, who were now sat on the stands where the Serpents were before. The host - plus Kevin and Sunny - had also moved to face the Serpents' stage as well.
"And… action!" Sunny called out, prompting an unnoticed glare from Blake. Colin quickly shifted over to leave Herman's terrarium on the bleachers next to Celeste, before he scuttled off to join his team.
—
The Serpents' performance began with Victor, Riley and Jack marching up to the castle - well, Victor at least, since Jack's wasn't enthusiastic at all and Riley's was… about as intimidating as a puppy. Ally and Colin were both on the top of the castle, and the two 'villains' were looking down at the small band of heroes. Rayna, meanwhile, was just behind the castle, looking at her nails with a bored expression on her face.
"Open the gates!" Victor bellowed out, the sheer force of his voice slightly startling Colin… and causing Riley to cover her ears, because he was just that loud.
Ally, fully in-character, merely scoffed at his suggestion, as smoke began to erupt from beneath her cloak, "Hah! Your threats mean nothing to me, foolish hero… for I am the master of the dark arts. The conqueror of kingdoms, the one true owner of the Staff of Immortia, I am the shadow mage herself, Ally Starr! Tremble before me, or I shall annihilate you with a mere flick of a wrist!"
The powerhouse was unfazed, and continued, "Your threats mean nothing to me! Now face me yourself!" Victor threw out his sword… no, he literally threw away his sword, it went flying out of his hand and hit Jack in the face, causing the artist to flinch.
Ally grinned deviously, however, and turned to Colin, "Tch, you're not worth my time. Minion, deal with him yourself - this should be over within seconds!"
Colin gave a mock salute, before he jumped down off of the castle, and landed… flat on his face, "I'm okay!" he raised a weak thumbs-up, his voice strained as he crawled away.
Riley tried to reach out to help, but a quick glare from Victor silenced the pushover. She just sighed in defeat, not wanting to get in his way. Ally also sent Colin a sympathetic glance, but she quickly got back in-character, not wanting to let the opportunity pass.
"I see you defeated my minion with ease," the mage commented, reaching into her cloak to grab her staff with an eager glint in her eye, "But rest assured - I will not go down so easily."
She leapt down off the castle set, landing firmly on her feet. Her cloak… somehow… managed to billow in the wind, and the mage threw a cocky smirk in Victor, Jack and Riley's direction.
Victor cracked his knuckles, but before he could move in, he was alerted by somebody else stepping forward - that person being Jack.
Confessional - Jack
"Now, I was starting to get a little bored ,and I didn't want to be forgotten during our performance, either," the artist reasoned, rubbing the back of his head, "So I decided to step up - we were already off-script thanks to Colin's blunder, anyway. How bad could it be?"
The artist stepped forward, holding a very well-made sword prop in his hand. In a quick flash, he charged at Ally to strike her down, however the mage dodged effortlessly, leaping out of his way. However, Jack didn't stop swinging thanks to the momentum, and the artist, in a magnificent flail, hit Riley in the head with the sword. The force of that sent the sword flying out of Jack's hands and right at the castle set, and the momentum was just strong enough to topple the castle set… right onto poor Rayna's leg, since the shipper couldn't see what was happening and let out a loud scream in pain as it landed on her, crumbling to pieces.
Jack nervously gulped, as the rest of the Serpents glared at him, now that he'd ruined their previously well-done performance. Rayna in particular was annoyed.
Confessional - Rayna
The shipper just glared towards the camera, "I feel ripped off - no ships at all!" she groaned, crossing her arms in annoyance, "My leg hurts as well, but still. What a waste of my time."
Blake, Sunny and Kevin huddled together again, before the trio came back with their scores.
Kevin held up a five, "Started off good, I gotta say. The endin' ruined it, but still, better than those guys' performance."
Sunny also held up a five, the femboy rubbing the back of his head bashfully, "Well… I wanted to give you a higher score, but I don't think my pity would help here…"
Blake was the final host to reveal his score, and the main host flipped his sheet over to reveal a… three, "At first, it was better, but then somebody - I forgot who it was - not only ruined the castle set, but more importantly caused a hopefully-not-major injury. Man am I glad we got lighter materials for those castles, that could've been way worse…"
"But yes, I can't justify a higher score for this," the host reasoned, "As bad as the Vultures were, they at least didn't do… that. Which means… Violet Vultures! You guys win the first challenge, with fourteen points to the Serpents' thirteen!"
The Vultures erupted into cheers at the news, while the Serpents looked mostly downcast. Sunny quickly came in for the next part of the announcement, frustrating Blake, "And Serpents, you guys will have to visit the grand stage for our first elimination ceremony!"
Confessional - Colin
Herman was sat in Colin's hair again, and the crab fanatic had a relieved look on his face, "I'm really glad I left Herman on the stands - could you imagine if he got hit by the castle? I don't think I'd be able to live with myself if that happened, haha."
Confessional - Victor
"My vote is obvious. The one who made us lose should naturally be voted off," Victor reasoned, adjusting his glasses as they were falling off of his face.
The six Serpents were soon gathered around the main stage, all six of them having various looks of worry on their faces. Blake was stood on the main stage, while Sunny was stood next to him, the femboy holding up five golden statues of himself.
"Scarlet Serpents," Blake tutted, "Welcome to the first true elimination ceremony of Total Drama Stardom. Underneath your seats, there should be a small device for you to vote - just click on who you want to vote for."
Most of the Serpents immediately voted, each of them immediately knowing who they were going for, save for Riley, who faltered slightly but eventually voted for somebody.
"And the first Golden Sunny of the season goes to… Ally!" the mage beamed at the reward, and Sunny threw the statue at her… except he didn't throw it hard enough and it just flopped onto the ground between the stage and the stands.
Blake looked incredibly disappointed, but he continued, "Also safe are… Riley, Victor, and Colin!" Sunny threw out three more statues, except the first flew right over the stands, the second hit Jack in the face, and the third one went flying far too the left.
"We seriously need to work on your aim," Blake sighed, clutching his head with his hand.
"Whoops, my bad, my aim kinda sucks," Sunny chuckled, but the main host wasn't impressed.
"Anyway, that brings us to our bottom two," Blake pointed towards Jack and Rayna, the bottom two, "Rayna, you've annoyed some people on your team, and you might be a temporary cripple now. Reasons to vote you off. Jack, you're incredibly forgettable, and you caused said potential cripple. Reasons to vote you off."
"It was an accident," the artist groaned, throwing the Golden Sunny that hit him in Colin's direction, "Why do people normally only remember me at the worst times…"
"The final Golden Sunny goes to…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
…
Rayna! Jack, you're outie!" Blake exclaimed, as Sunny managed to finally throw a Golden Sunny at its intended target, Rayna catching it with a smirk. Jack rose from the stands, looking like he expected this outcome.
"Well… that's that, I suppose. Should've known I was gonna get voted off first just for being forgettable," the artist crossed his arms, "Lame-o-sine, I suppose?"
Sunny threw a thumbs-up in his direction, "This time, yes!" he confirmed, pointing towards a red carpet where Action's Lame-o-sine was waiting.
Jack walked across the red carpet with his head down, but none of his teammates even noticed him, as he stepped into the Lame-o-sine, "Farewell, Total Drama Stardom," he sighed, as the Lame-o-sine's doors closed, driving off to who-knows-where.
"Two down, ten to go - Serpents, you'll certainly have to catch up!" Blake smirked, "Funny thing is, I've already forgotten who we just eliminated. Which one of the remaining eleven will be eliminated next? Find out next time, on Total! Drama! Stardom!"
Scarlet Serpents: Ally, Colin, Rayna, Riley, Victor
Violet Vultures: Celeste, Dylan, Forrest, May, Melinda, Tyson
Votes: Jack - Ally, Rayna, Riley, Victor; Rayna - Colin, Jack
13th: Kevin (now intern)
12th: Jack
Author's note: And that brings two people down! Jack, admittedly, suffered from the team-building process a lot, and didn't really have much plot going for him. So he went home here. I've got a bit of a funny surprise I wanna reveal soon, so without further ado, happy writing, and Kadachi out!
