Joy took a deep, deep breath.

Everything hurt, she tasted blood in her mouth and was weak.

Lindsay was beating her for hours and Joy doesn't even remember how many times she went out.

She felt that she was going to die, she felt it inside her so strongly ..

But she wanted to see her parents again ..

She just felt like she was losing everything, losing the fight and in that little moment, she just wanted to be able to remember her parents, so she started talking.

- I have a father .. (she whispered) He is called Seeley Booth and works at the FBI, he is the best .. (She said while looking at the ceiling) And my mother is Brennan Temperance, she works with bones and is very smart and silly sometimes..and i have a brother..Parker and if i stayed with him, i know i would be a good older brother..I wanted to grow up with him, i still want ..

And then she closed her eyes for a second and when she opened them again she was no longer in the cellar.

-Hello dear. —Hello? (She said curiously) Who are you? —I am Christine Brennan, I am your grandmother.

Booth was wearing the tactical suit and took a gun in his hand and looked at Temperance who was wearing the FBI vest.

—She'll be fine, right? (Temperance said fearfully) When we're done, she'll be home with us, right?

—Bones (He went to her and took her hand) I promise that before dawn, I will put our little girl back in her arms.

—I..I don't like not knowing what's going to happen next..I want to believe it, but the odds are against it..I know that ..

—Bones ... Temperance, we'll make it.(He said as he looked at her fondly) We always make it and with our daughter it won't be any different.

Temperance shook his hand in confidence.

She knew that Booth would do what she promised, Booth was good with promises, at least with most of them.

He would not fail their daughter.

—Booth, we're ready!(Perrotta said)

—Come on, let's go get our little girl. (He said as he helped Temperance to his feet.)

—You are dead, right? (Joy questioned curiously) —Yes. (The woman said and smiled) —So, if I'm with you it means that I ... —No..not if you don't want to .. (Christine said and sat down on a bench that had appeared) —I don't want to leave my parents and my brother, I love them very much and there are a lot of other people.(Joy said and sat down next to the woman) You won't make me go with you, will you? —No, but I will stay here and wait with you.(She held Joy's hand) You are a special little girl, Joy. —I am special, because I have special parents, they make me special. —No, (the woman smiled) You are special, you are changing my Tempe, changing for the better. —Mom was just confused when I arrived, I just put her on the way ... (Joy explained the woman) Can I call you Grandma? I call Grandpa Max Grandpa and Pops Grandpa Pops, can I call you Grandma too? —Sure, I'm your grandmother.(Christine said and hugged the girl) Thank you for being such a brilliant little girl, for being so nice to my daughter. —I thank you, Tempe is the best mom in the world! I bet she learned a lot from you. —You little girl, it's a piece of heaven! (Christine said after touching the nose of the girl who laughed)

The plan was prepared, everything was ready and Booth was on the front lines to invade the house.

Using Joy's little tip, Angela managed to find a house near St. Peter's church, the house was named after a Graham Lewis, a ninety-year-old man who had died a year ago half a year ago, and for his research the house it has been uninhabited since then.

It was the perfect place.

An abandoned house, one that nobody paid much attention to.

Joy's tip was accurate and would be what would save her life.

—Are you ready? (Perrotta asked)

—Yes. (Booth murmured)

She nodded and went to speak to another agent.

It was dawn, so the streets were empty.

Giving them the element of surprise.

Booth looked back, to see Temperance inside the car, she made a point of being part of it, even if it was inside the Toyota.

He gave her a brief smile, which he waved and then they were ready to break into the house.

There were screams, many screams and loud noises. It was like being in a bubble, one minute here and another in the dream world.

Joy opened her eyes and could hear the loud screams and noises and then shots, not many.

She closed her eyes and tried to return to Christine, but it was impossible.

And then a loud bang caught her attention, but she didn't have the strength to look at the stairs, she just managed to huddle in that position.

—Booth, we found her!

Your father?

He was here?

—My..my..my..daddy .. Seeley. (She whispered, even though she tried to speak loudly)

- Yes ... He is here and he is coming. (The woman said sitting next to her) You are Joy, right?

—Joy Booth-Brennan. (She murmured) My dad .. Seeley Booth ... mom Tempe ... and there's Parker, my..my..brother ..

-That's right, dear, we are here to take you home. (The agent said) I am Peyton Perrotta, I am a friend of the parents and I promise that that woman will pay for it.

—Thanks .. (She whispered and closed her eyes)

- No dear, open your eyes, your father is here in a minute... let's go Joy open your eyes. (Perrotta asked nervously) Booth! Shit!where are the paramedics?

After "chatting" with Lindsay and the man, booth put them both in the car and went back into the house.

When he went down to the basement, he saw Perrotta beside Joy, desperately trying to get her to wake up.

—Joy .. (He murmured her name and ran to daughter)

He crouched down in front of the girl's body, pushing Perrotta in the process.

—Baby, Joy dear is daddy, can you open your eyes for me? Come on Jolly!"l

—She spoke to me ... I think she is just tired. (Perrotta said to reassure the man)

—Joy, please ...(he whispered as he leaned his head against her small leg)

There was a deep sigh and Booth lifted his head to look at the little girl who gave a brief smile.

—daddy..you found me .. (She murmured and stretched her arms out to him.)

—I will always find you, I promised, didn't I?(He said and took the little girl on his lap) Come on, it's time for you to go back to your house.
