The goblins came back in and asked what their decision was. "We want to do the twin adoption ritual. We're both agreed." Harry said while Hermione nodded. One of the goblins got a vial of Harry's blood and mixed it with a potion then took both of them to separate bathrooms to shower. After the shower they were both dressed in fresh loose gowns and taken to a new ritual room together.
They were instructed to lay down in the outlines that were inside the ritual circle. they were head to head. Hermione was directed to the outline that was silver, since she was the one joining 2 families, while Harry was directed to the outline that was gold, since he was only joining one while also staying a Potter.
The goblins poured the potion with Harry's blood into the outline around Hermione and then the potions with Sirius' blood into the runes circling both of them. Once all the goblins were out of the circle one activated the ritual. It was painful, more painful than the cruciatus curse. The ritual lasted an hour. Afterwards both of them passed out and were levitated back to the infirmary. Both of them looked different now. Harry was 6'4" and his jaw was a little more angular. Hermione was still 5'4" but she had filled out a little in her chest, rear and legs.
Her hair was now in curls and was more Auburn brown than chocolate. When they finally opened their eyes and looked at each other Harry noticed that her eyes were hazel, but the green in them was more vivid than normal hazel eyes were. They went to the full length mirror that had been put into the room and looked at their new looks. Both were surprised. The goblins had them shower properly and gave the both shampoo and body wash potions.
When Hermione came out of the shower Winky popped in and dried and styled her hair with a few snaps of her fingers, Dobby had already done the same for Harry. Hermione's hair wasn't frizzy anymore but she had a head full of spiral curls. Winky had put it in a french braid. They got dressed after Winky magically altered their clothes to fit. "We need to go shopping for some clothes. I think muggle London would work for that. Purebloods have no clue about the muggle world." Hermione said. Harry agreed.

They were taken back to Goldknife's office. Well, you both look different than before, I still wouldn't risk walking through Diagon though. I had a portkey made to take you to an alley next to Harrods. I also have a wallet here for each of you with about £10,000 cash. This large book is the Black family ledger and I have the family rings here for you." Goldknife said as he indicated each item.
Harry put his Potter family ring on his index finger of his left hand, it resized and flashed. Goldknife handed him the Black family ring, Harry put it on the middle finger of his left hand, it resized then flashed. Goldknife handed Hermione the rings that were for the daughters of both families and she put them on the same fingers as Harry had. Both resized before flashing.
Goldknife handed them each a wallet, with Hermione's looking almost like a clutch purse and the Black ledger. "Now, every family keeps the books they buy in their vaults and a copy can be made to be put in their manors or houses. The copies disappear within an hour if they are stolen.
We also offer a skeleton book for these family libraries. The book has a list of each book in the vault and when the title is tapped with a wand book will become whatever book you have chosen, simply tapping the cover and saying 'Fini' will transform it back to the original skeleton book. Would you each like a copy for the Potter and Black libraries?" Goldknife asked them.
"Yes, please!" They asked together. Goldknife smiled and handed them each 2 small books they each got one with the Potter crest and one with the Black crest. Hermione looked like Yule had come early. "Thank you my friend. If you ever need help from either of us, please don't hesitate to ask." Harry said as Hermione nodded.
"I'll keep that in mind. Now as goblins can't perform the ritual to summon things, we need the both of you to do it. We have put the soul shard in a block of wood and it is in the summoning room waiting. If you'll follow me." Goldknife said before leading them to a different room than before.
In the room they saw a huge circle with the wood block in the middle and runes surrounding it. they both put a few drops of blood on each rune as directed and then stood on opposite ends as they called for all of the horcrux's to appear inside the circle. Their magic swirled around the room as slowly one by one all of them popped into the circle.
When they were done they saw the locket that had been in their tent, Hufflepuff's cup, Ravenclaw's diadem, and Voldemort's pet snake, Nagini. Nagini tried to attack them but there was a barrier at the circle line keeping her in. The goblins stepped forward moving Harry and Hermione back and started a ritual to but all the soul shards into the block that had the one from Harry. Nagini died during the removal.
"What would you like to do with the items that used to be horcrux's?" One tired goblin asked. "Remove any curses on them and put them in the Potter vault please, except the snake. I don't care what you do with that." Harry said and Hermione nodded her agreement.
"Very well. Snake is a delicacy to our race. We thank you for this gift." The goblin said. Harry nodded, grabbed the block now holding several pieces of Voldemort's soul and they were led back to the office. "Welcome back, why don't we get this finished so you can go to the apartment we set aside for you so you can eat and sleep. I'll have the portkey for you right after breakfast tomorrow. Did you want to bring Andromeda back into the Black family and legitimize her marriage?
If so, then she and her daughter will then get a vault each with a stipend of G1000 a month with all the backpay for them, dated from the time of marriage for Andromeda and the time of birth for Nymphadora, put into these personal accounts as well as a dowry for G10,000 for Andromeda as stipulated in the Black family charter.
Also do you want to disown Bellatrix from the Black family there by reclaiming her dowry and stopping all further stipends?" Goldknife asked. "Yes please. Also can you legitimize Nymphadora's marriage to Remus Lupin while you're at it?" Harry asked. Goldknife nodded happily and filled out another paper. "Now what would you like your names to be? You can change your last name, add to your last name or change your full name.
Blacks typically have one of their names coming from a star or constellation but it's not required." Goldknife explained. They both thought for a moment. "I think Harry James Potter-Black will work for me." Harry said as Goldknife wrote his choice down. "I think I would like 'Hermione Persephone Potter-Black." Hermione said as Goldknife wrote her choice down.
He then handed Hermione the paperwork for her new vault and her new name. She quickly signed them. He handed Harry all the papers for everything he had done and Harry signed them. Goldknife handed them each a key and had them put a drop of blood on their own key to bind it to them.
Once they were done for the night, they were taken to an apartment in Gringotts and given trays of food. Winky and Dobby popped in to show off their new uniforms and make sure they met with Harry and Hermione's approval. After they ate they both tried to summon clothes out of Hermione's bag and found the magic difficult. They decided that they would need new wands then went to sleep.
The next morning they showered, dressed and ate. Winky fixed Hermione's hair into a braid again. They made sure they had all their stuff and went to get the portkey. They went into Harrods and Hermione quickly got their sizes figured out and got them each several outfits and undergarments as well as a few dress up outfits and something to wear to funerals as she knew that when they finished the war their would be many.
Then they went and bought a bunch of muggle pens, notebooks, loose lined paper, and a few fountain pens with extra ink. They then went grocery shopping and Hermione bought a lot of food and drinks to last them a while.
They apparated to an empty beach and set up camp. Hermione sent Dobby to get a book catalog from the book store on Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley and to find a wand crafter they can make an appointment with. Hermione then took all of Harry's old clothes and happily burned them. She put her old clothes off to the side in case anyone that fit them wanted them.

Harry and Hermione looked through the Potter and Black ledgers and found out that Potter Manor was in Wales and under many layers of war wards. They decided to go there to check it out the next morning. They looked through the catalog for trunks and found out that they could get a barracks style trunk that could sleep 200 and had a kitchen and common room as well as large common bathrooms and toilet rooms.
They decided to have Dobby and Winky bring all of there friends and their friends families to them a few at a time as well as look for and clear out all the muggleborns that were sent to 'camps'. They would need healers and more elves to help. They also saw that the apartment trunks could have up to 9 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
They filled out the order forms:
4 barracks trunks, fully furnished and stocked with food and containing 2 training rooms, a library, and 6 nine bedroom, four bathroom apartment trunks, fully furnished and stocked with food and a library and a training room.
6 six bedroom, two bathroom apartments with training room and library, fully furnished and stocked with food. Winky took the form to the trunk store and was told to come back the next day for the trunks.

Dobby came back and handed Hermione the book order forms and told Harry they had an appointment in 2 hours for the wand crafter. Dobby had gotten 2 bags of Galleons from the Potter vault and gave one to each. After lunch they packed up and Dobby took them to the wand crafter. "Well, Hello. No names please, initials only. I need you to go to the wood, core and gem sections and put your hands over each type until you find one or more that feels warm.
Then you will need to find a grip that you like. Take one of these boxes and put everything for your wand in it, then bring them to me and tell me your initials." The wand crafter said to them. Harry grabbed his box and went to the wood section, Hermione grabbed a box and started in the cores section. When both were done they took their boxes to the wand crafter. "My initials are 'H.J.P.B.' here" Harry said as he handed the box over.
The wand crafter nodded and tapped his wand to the top of Harry's box, Harry's initials showed up on the box. He took it and set it aside. Hermione stepped up "My initials are 'H.P.P.B'. here's my box." Hermione said handing her's over too.
He put her initials on her box. "Come back for your wands in 4 hours. I would recommend getting some wand holsters at that time. I have quite a few types you can look at when you get back." The wand crafter said. They nodded and left with Dobby.

Dobby took them to a cabin in the forest of Dean. "Ok so according to the ledger, the head of house rings are also portkeys. We just focus our magic and say 'Potter Manor' to get there." Harry said. They managed to arrive safely in front of Potter Manor. They looked up in awe.
Harry called Dobby and Winky and they all went inside. Once they closed the door several elves popped in. "Who is you!" One elf asked. "My name is Harry James Potter-Black, this is Hermione Persephone Potter-Black, my twin. Our parents were James and Lily Potter and Sirius Black.
They died on all Hallows Eve in 1981." Harry explained. The elves looked excited. They could feel the bond forming and knew, intuitively, that Harry had been blood adopted by Sirius Black and Hermione had been adopted through the twin adoption ritual.
"Who is the head elf?" Harry asked. "I's Tizzy, the head house elf. These are Pip, the chef. Tot, the gardener. Dee, the housekeeper. Lin and Ana are the young elves. Their parents be Pip and Dee." Tizzy said. Harry nodded.
"This is Dobby, he's my personal elf and this is Winky, Hermione's personal elf. We'll be going to run an errand before dinner. We'll be having dinner here, would it be possible to have 2 rooms set up for Hermione and I, preferably with ensuite bathrooms.
Also we would like a tour of the manor and grounds." Harry said. Dobby and Winky went with Dee to get the rooms ready. Pip went to the kitchen to prep for dinner. Harry told Tizzy to talk to Dobby about his expectations for the elves and make sure the rest knew them as well.
Tizzy started to lead them around. There were 2 parlors, a large kitchen with a table, a dining room, 3 studies, 2 training rooms (one looked like a muggle gym and the other a magical training room), 10 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on one wing and 6 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms on the other wing, the Library filled the top 2 floors entirely, There were 2 game rooms, a ballroom, 12 extra powder rooms (toilets and sinks only), a potions lab and ingredient storage on the first level of the basement, a bunch of jail cells on the 2nd level of the basement and on the bottom level were a bunch of vaults, a conservatory on each wing and a lounge with a bar.
On the grounds (which covered 85 acres) there were several greenhouses for both magical plants and regular food plants, there were fruit trees everywhere, there was a stable with horses, a stable with hippogriffs, and a stable with thestrals, there was a quidditch pitch with locker rooms and a broom storage cupboard, there were some houses that used to be for human workers, there was a beautiful flower garden with benches to sit and a duck pond. Attached to the back of the house was a large porch. The tour took 3 hours.

Once they were back inside they had Dobby take them back to the wand crafter. They were looking through the various wand holsters and both chose a set that had safety features that stopped summoning charms, all revealing charms, were quick-draw, and would be invisible when the wands were in them.
Hermione chose one made from Chinese fireball dragonhide, Harry chose one made from Hebridean black dragonhide. The wand crafter came out as they reached the counter carrying their boxes. "Well, these are beautiful, if I do say so meself. 2 sets of identical dual wands, G200 total. That includes the wand holsters and the boxes." The wand crafter said.
Harry pulled out the money and Hermione looked at her wands. "Wow, they are amazing!" Hermione said. Harry finished paying and looked at his. Harry pulled them out and felt a rush more powerful than with his first wand. He put on the holsters and put the wands in them. Hermione grabbed her wands out of the box and felt the same thing. She also put her wands in the holsters then put the holsters on. They thanked him, and had Dobby take them home.

They ate dinner before Hermione emptied her bag and she and Harry put all their stuff into the rooms that were prepared for them. The next morning Dobby popped in with the new trunks. Hermione sent all the books she had taken on the hunt with her, except one, put on the book shelves in the Potter vault with a copy brought back for the Potter Manor library. She had also ordered a bunch of books through Dobby to also be taken to the vaults and a copy brought to the Potter Manor library.
Harry organized the adult elves to spy on the death eaters and find out where any hostages or prisoners were as well as to find the location, layout and guard schedules for the 'camps' that the muggleborns and half-bloods had been taken to. Harry set the trunks up in one of the game rooms and decided to discretely start moving people in a few at a time. Winky popped in and when Harry and Hermione were talking to Dobby about getting more free elves to help out with all the extra people that were going to need to be brought in and also getting a bunch of Veritaserum.
Dobby said that Snape had a large stockpile of the potion in a storage room in the Headmasters living quarters and he could get several dozen vials without it being detected for a few months. Harry told him to get it and store it in the potions lab in the basement. Winky then reported that there were a bunch of students hiding in the come and go room at Hogwarts and some of them were young.
Harry asked Hermione if she could start brewing healing potions and have Tot get her any ingredients she needed. Winky went back to her spying. Dobby soon popped in saying that the potion was in the store room in the potions lab. He then popped back out.
Harry went to the Head of house study and had Tizzy walk him through making sure the wards were up and powered properly. According to Tizzy, no one should be able to even find Potter Manor as it was unplottable and had more wards than Gringotts, Hogwarts, and the ministry put together.
Harry checked the ward books that he had to add people to for them to be able to enter the wards. One was for family and friends close enough to be allowed in as they please. The other was for temporary access and they would have to be reentered if they left the wards.
Harry and Hermione had been entered automatically when they put the rings on. Harry added Neville Longbottom, Fred Weasley, George Weasley, Lee Jordan, Dean Thomas, Seamus Finnegan, Andromeda Tonks, Remus Lupin, Minerva McGonagall, Filius Flitwick, Alice Longbottom, Franklin Longbottom, and Augusta Longbottom. He put both books away. He then wrote letters to the Weasley twins, Lee Jordan, Dean Thomas, Seamus Finnegan, Andromeda Tonks and Remus Lupin. He wrote the same letter to each of them.

Harry had Dobby deliver them and called Tizzy. "Tizzy, I need you to set up the ballroom as an infirmary. I want beds, side tables, potions cabinets, healing tools, loose sleeping gowns, and white bedding. I also want a desk with extra file folders, paper, and muggle pens and a file cabinet I fear we may need it before long." Harry explained. Tizzy popped out and with help from the other elves had it done in an hour.
