Volume 1 - First Order

Chapter 7: Arturia, King of Knights

Previously from Naruto Uzumaki: Stargazer…

"You must face up to why and how you want to lend him your powers," he said as he turned to Mash, who glanced towards Ritsuka.

"And I can clearly see that whoever the heroic spirit granted you those powers, he resonates with your hopes and feelings." Mash remained silent as she went into further deep thought. Meanwhile, Arturia looked away, for she already knew the identity of the heroic spirit that imparted his powers to Mash, but it was not in her place to say anything.

"Be more honest about your own heart, Mashmallow; you'll get there," he stated with finality before he winked at her as he patted her head; then he faced the other two in their group.

"Oi, you two, stop grinning at each other; let's go. Saber awaits."

Story Start.

The skies remained dark above Fuyuki, but the caves even more so, as everyone noted when they entered the caverns beneath the old temple on the outskirts of Fuyuki, and as they pushed through the darkness, Director Uzumaki took note of Arturia's demeanour.

Olga was oblivious; all she wanted now was to get out of this place, Ritsuka was the same, but the other servants, Mash and Caster, noticed the subtle change over time as time passed, yet they both said nothing. They knew better than to interfere between Naruto and his servant.

But, of course, the Vice-Director could not care less.

"Why the long face? You're all about to see the finale," he said over the comms as he continued to type out necessary reports.

Silence remained momentarily after that, and the Director responded, "I don't have a long face, old man."

Arturia finally cracked a smile, and Naruto smiled to himself.

"Thanks, old man," he thought while Kurama laughed in amusement.

"Man, you and the old man have some intrinsic connection…" said the Tailed Beast while Naruto and his group went further down the old cave.

"You do know we're related, right?"

Kurama shrugged within his mind, "Technically, yeah, if you cross time and space and back."

The two old friends left it at that, while back in Chaldea, those who were fit for duty continued their work, and they had much work to do, especially with the majority of the staff deceased or incapacitated.

"Director, can I speak with you for a moment?" and there was the voice he had waited to hear.

"Yes, dear Ophelia, what is it?"

Olga perked up when she heard the voice of the only remaining active member of Team A, and her thoughts spiralled down to suspicion as she distinctly remembered that Ophelia was taken from the Command Room just before the incident; however, something nagged in her mind that she should remain silent.

Thus, she did.

"In regards to this mystic code, Da Vinci said that you will be adding some arrangements for expeditions later," said the Scandinavian Magus, as Naruto paused and briefly delved into his thoughts but replied soon after.

"Ah, yes; the Chaldea Combat Mystic Code isn't suited for what we have in mind, so I will install a few upgrades later when we return."

At that, Olga furrowed her eyebrows, as she did not hear anything about this, and of course, she knew the Vice-Director had a hand in this.

"Why am I not told about this?" she blurted out, but Naruto paid her no mind.

"Because you're going to throw a fit, just like you're about to, Olga," said the Vice-Director with mirth through the same connection as Ophelia's.

The Co-Director's face reddened while Naruto stifled a laugh that threatened to break out, and just like that, the mood in the group was uplifted immensely, and whatever was on Arturia's mind at that time, it vanished.

"How about a song to ease the burn?" offered the Vice-Director, and Olga responded almost immediately.

"No!" she exclaimed, and the laugh Naruto tried to stop exploded.

"Hahahahaha! Burned twice in a row!"

Laughter from the entire group rang through the cave, of course, except Olga.

"Never change, old man!" exclaimed Naruto after he controlled his laughter, and the said old man replied immediately, but not the way the Director or anyone else expected.

"Tempus fugit, sed numquam mutabo; quod erat demonstrandum."

"… well, yes, that's true… also, you're an absolute bastard. Has anyone ever told you of that?" replied Director Uzumaki, while the Vice-Director smiled at first but immediately responded.

"Yeah, you just did."

"Ugh!"

"Look at that one, Arturia. Think she eats as much as you do?"

"I will not dignify that with a response," rebutted his servant.

That was the first exchange of dialogue that came from the group when they reached the end of the massive cave system, and the group stared atop the cliff where at the edge, stood a darkened servant, and it was Saber, but different.

She felt raw power, and Mash swallowed as she sensed the immense power from the Saber opposite.

To the Shielder, if Chaldea's Saber was order, Fuyuki's darkened Saber was controlled chaos.

For Cu Chulainn, this was unpleasant, simple as that.

One Saber was bad enough, but two? No, he'd rather face his mentor.

"Sétanta, why the grumpy face?" he heard Naruto ask him, but he just grumbled in reply, while Ritsuka wondered how the Director could keep a cheery façade in the face of such an overwhelming presence.

"… is he even a human?"

Then, the darkened Saber noticed them; her armour marred yet remained firm and strong. Her eyelids opened to show amber eyes, devoid of emotion, but her stature as king remained apparent, though Naruto could feel that she was more… unhinged than the Arturia he knew intimately in more ways than one.

"My, my… you have an interesting servant there…" her voice echoed from the cliff above them, but Ritsuka could feel the eyes on him, not on the Director, Co-Director, or Saber, but on Mash and him.

The Shielder felt the heavy presence directed at her, but she remained firm in her place and stared back at the altered Saber before their group.

Meanwhile, the Saber of their group, King Arthur, summoned by the Director through his system, gripped her sword tightly, but her face remained calm and collected as Naruto stood beside her.

"That sword…" whispered Mash as she stared towards their opponent.

"Excalibur, the Sword of Promised Victory," uttered Arturia while Sétanta grimaced as he prepared.

This time, the altered Saber finally laid her eyes towards her non-altered self and spoke, "Why?"

"Why are you here?" Her voice was filled not with contempt but pure curiosity as to why the proper version of herself, King Arthur, was there before her.

"Why indeed…" replied Naruto's servant.

"… hmm… no matter," the other Saber said as she turned back towards Mash, who stood her ground. "Ready that shield of yours, mystery girl."

"This sword will prove to me… whether or not it can protect you!"

It was their only warning as the Saber charged towards Mash, sword thrust forward, sword met shield. Invariably, Mash stood her ground as the Saber kept her onslaught, but it would not last because Alter's strikes were brutal and unrelenting.

Naruto immediately held Arturia's shoulder and froze her into place, which is when she sent him a questioning glance. Even Sétanta was confused at the action, Olga and Ritsuka even more so.

"Not yet," he whispered to his servant as they observed how Mash defended herself against another iteration of Arturia. Through their extraordinary bond, she knew deep down what her master wanted, so she stood her ground and waited to be released.

"What's wrong? Is that Noble Phantasm just for show?" questioned Saber Alter as she brought an upward strike and sent Mash back a reasonable distance away; her shield fell with her, and Ritsuka immediately went for her before Olga could even do anything; meanwhile, Sétanta did what he thought best at his case, which was to watch out for anything.

And it was at that moment that Naruto released his hold over Arturia, and his servant promptly met her alternate, in which Excalibur against Excalibur, light against dark; the two kings met in a knightly duel, and their dance began shortly.

"Tch! Why do you fight in her stead?" angrily questioned Alter while Arturia maintained her calm demeanour so as to not show any emotion, just like the good old days in Camelot.

"I do not," replied Arturia as she parried a sideward strike from her opponent, which she immediately blocked as not allow Arturia to riposte, but unfortunately for Alter, Arturia is stronger than her, especially in regards to the circumstances of her summoning.

Thus, she missed Arturia's sabaton-clad foot that kicked her away towards the base of the cliff where the Greater Grail was.

"I fight for my beloved, my master," declared the Saber as she prepared another stance while the Alter spat out blood before she stood back and faced Arturia.

"… interesting," muttered Alter as she wiped out some blood at the edges of her lips. Her pale blonde hair shadowed her eyes as the rest of them watched in silence.

At this point, Mash regained her standing as Ritsuka approached her with obvious worry in his eyes, and she smiled towards him before they focused on the two Saber servants facing each other. Then, they heard Arturia speak once more.

"… therefore, whatever is precious to my master, it is precious to me."

Silence befell everyone as they waited for Alter's response, but they found none; however, Naruto and Kurama knew a shift had occurred within Alter, but they remained silent as they waited with bated breaths.

They were rewarded with a sight none of them expected, as Alter vanished in a burst of speed; however, she was met by Arturia in equal terms due to her honour as a knight and a king. Excalibur met Excalibur repeatedly as they danced in that dark cave, and in their waltz, the two shared their opposing views through their blades.

It was apparent now that their differences were not superficial; instead, they went down to their very cores, not just in their way of being summoned or the circumstances they found themselves in.

Arturia was filled with grace, as apparent with her hair which appeared sprinkled with gold; in her face, there was meekness, and in that meekness lay her true strength; for one to be meek, one must be capable of great violence to protect and work for that which is truly good.

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth… and delight themselves in abundant prosperity.

Indeed, in life, she ruled her land, and Camelot prospered, but as with anything built by humans, it too shall pass, and it did.

Camelot's decline and fall was something she had thought about in secret since her oldest friend summoned her, and in her reflections, she had made her peace because, in the end, she was not alone, there was someone with her, and now, she had more than she could have wanted.

She was content and happy with her new and old companions in Chaldea, and her blade shone brighter.

Golden sparks flew from her blade as she struck the darkened blade of her alter, and said opposite clenched her jaws as she was put on the defensive by the increasingly aggressive stance taken by Arturia against her.

One.

Two.

Three.

Three strikes are what it took to force Alter on her back against the wall.

Three powerful strikes marred the ground as Arturia forced Alter back.

In those three strikes, Arturia allowed Alter to glimpse what she felt; her genuine emotions were laid bare for Alter to see. It was there that she indeed saw their difference and made her question why Arturia even materialised in the first place, but she forgot one thing.

The Master, so-called Director Uzumaki, oh she knew, that mage from earlier told her about him, but at present, all thoughts of him vanished as Arturia kept her aggressive push.

"Now!" they heard the Director shout, and Arturia disengaged as Mash suddenly jumped down, shield first and struck Alter, who could not dodge immediately and was therefore sent to the ground.

"Are you good to go?" inquired Arturia as she stood beside the younger servant.

Mash nodded, her face was grim, but the presence of Arturia somehow felt familiar, and it invigourated her very being.

Of course, Arturia knew whose shield that belonged to, but she kept silent on that as a sign of respect and because her master told her not to.

Meanwhile, Alter stood up once more as she watched a king and a knight stand together, and there was a pang of pain in her core. Still, she hardened herself and focused as she instantaneously released her magical energy, and there was a sound akin to jet propulsion as black energy gathered on her sword.

"Well, that does it," muttered Naruto while Olga raised an eyebrow.

"What does what?"

"… I have a working theory, or rather, had a working theory, long story short, Alter recognised the sight before her, namely, a king and a knight," explained Naruto as they watched the two servants of Chaldea face off against their opponent.

"A king and a knight…" repeated Olga as she searched the depths of her memory for any knowledge that she may have studied in the past, and then she pictured the present reality before her.

"Oh… King Arthur and… don't tell me, the Heroic Spirit inside Mash…" she whispered at the implications and realisation befell her.

"Yeah, a Knight of the Round Table... don't tell her, though; it's not our place."

Arturia and Mash were not privy to the discussion of the two Directors of Chaldea. However, Arturia received mental orders from her master and had Mash prepared to fight against Alter; thus, she had also instantaneously released her magical energy, but unlike Alter, the energy came off as gold.

"Mash… I'll take the right."

"Yes, ma'am!"

The two servants vanished in a burst of speed and attacked Alter from two sides, which she did not expect, but her instincts, as dulled as it has been since she manifested, allowed at least to block and parry while the Greater Grail constantly supplied her with magical energy.

Unfortunately for her, Arturia had more than enough energy to match as she resumed her aggressive push, but this time, she had Mash alongside her, and the instincts of the demi-servant meshed well with the King of Knights; as they worked in tandem splendidly.

As Lord Uzumaki's servant, she was more powerful than she could ever imagine, and the fact that she had the memories from the other instances of her being summoned to other realities was something she had not yet confided to her master, but her guts told her he was aware.

A small smile etched itself on her face as she and Mash spun around Alter and kept up their assault, though Mash was put on the defensive, which worked good enough for Arturia as she used Mash's shield as a platform as they pushed through the defences of Saber Alter.

On the side, Ritsuka watched with trepidation as Mash assisted Arturia against the other Saber, and the environs did not help him at all, but thanks to the Director, he settled well enough in his newly minted role as a Master of Chaldea.

Olga, however, deep inside, was racked with jealousy and her feelings on the matter remained suppressed, but Naruto knew her enough to know how she felt; besides, he could sense those emotions that tried to break through her façade.

"This one is going to be a delicate situation," uttered Kurama as he settled himself within Naruto's mindscape.

"I know; we'll deal with it once we return to Chaldea," replied Naruto while he watched Olga.

"If… we return in one piece… remember the warning of the Chaplain… about Olga, CHALDEAS and the ugly mage," warned the tailed beast, and Naruto furrowed his eyebrows in response.

"… I already lost one too many personnel… I will not lose anymore; I will not allow it."

"Good, I know you will."

Ritsuka stood there and watched; the Director wanted Mash to reveal her Noble Phantasm, he told them earlier as much, and now, Ritsuka began to think negatively about himself.

"She still can't bring it out! Is it because I'm lacking as a master…?" he turned his gaze away from the battle as Mash remained on the defensive as she assisted the assault of Arturia.

"Ritsuka," called out Naruto, and the young man turned to him with a questioning look.

"Use your Command Spell on Mash," he ordered, and Ritsuka looked down at his right hand and focused his mind.

"A servant's power comes from the servant themselves, as well as their master's magic… for you and Ophelia, at least since it's quite different on my side," explained Naruto as he, too, looked down on his Command Spell.

"However, for you, picture yourself releasing it in your mind carefully."

Naruto's tone was filled with a warning, but it seemed it flew right over Ritsuka's head as the young man collapsed to his knees in sheer pain.

"Senpai?!"

Olga's immediate reaction was acceptable. "You idiot! You ran more magic through your circuits than you could handle!"

"You're no mage… you aren't even a magecraft caster! Don't do that!"

Naruto remained silent momentarily before he spoke as Mash retreated from the combat and went for her master, "Damaging your circuits would be dire for you… pushing more than you could handle can threaten your-"

"I don't care about that!" exclaimed Ritsuka through the pain, and through gritted teeth, he continued, "It'd be far more painful if I just stood there, doing nothing!"

Naruto raised an eyebrow as Mash approached them but halted as she heard Ritsuka's words, all while the two Arturia's battle it out.

"… should I just lie back and quiver in fear?" the young man questioned rhetorically, and even Olga held herself back from saying anything.

"If I don't do what I can because it's 'dangerous' or 'pointless' or whatever… I'd never be able to forgive myself!"

Mash's face was concerned, and she asked him, "Why… are you going that far?"

"This… this is no big deal at all," said Ritsuka with a pained smile as he took Mash's right hand, "So… don't give me that look, okay?"

"Bragging about your immaturity on the battlefield? That will provide no salvation for any servant." Just like that, Alter was behind Mash and got past Arturia, though before Arturia could jump and block Alter, Sétanta's agitation boiled over and joined the fray.

"Oi. No, raining on a man's pride like that…" said Caster as he blocked Excalibur with his staff, and before Alter could respond, he had written a rune over her armour, "… King of Knights."

A fiery explosion sent Alter back, and she was relatively unfazed, but Arturia secured the upper hand as a burst of energy came from her sword and struck Alter on her chest plate, which shattered it.

It was the first time during that battle that Alter showed visible anger on her face, and there, she prepared herself, but she didn't know then that Naruto waited for that exact moment because the group's present goal was to let Mash unlock her Noble Phantasm before they solve this singularity.

Arturia removed herself from the way and took her place beside Naruto, and this confused Alter as she began her chant.

"Vortigern, Hammer of the Vile King… reverse the rising sun. Swallow the light…"

At that split second before Alter fired her Noble Phantasm, the remembrance of Arturia and Mash fighting against her… it stayed her hand. Now, the sight of a master and a servant standing together had struck through her tenacity, and it wavered at the last second.

"EXCALIBUR… MORGAN!"

Mash stood there, shield anchored to the ground against a magical energy that threatened to eliminate everything on its path. This darkness would never allow them to exist, and she believed her power was not enough to handle it, though, Ritsuka stood his ground and gave whatever help he could, and then, his Command Spells glowed.

"I believe in you."

By instinct, Mash knew what needed to be done.

"Master, please watch me."

Virtual Noble Phantasm, Pseudo-Deployed.

Her shield was illumined with blue light, and from it, a great round magical shield appeared and held off Alter's Noble Phantasm, and Olga watched from the sides; her mind was on Mash.

"Yes… you were chosen, given a real full name… but you bear none of your Heroic Spirit's desires. Just then, you yearned for that phantasm, even if it was a sham of borrowed… and then, it responded…" Olga wiped a lone tear from her right eye, and it seemed she was not alone.

"Master, permission to cry?"

"Huh?" Naruto deadpanned at Arturia, but Olga cleared her throat and interrupted the two.

"Lord Chaldeas, Foundation of Anthropic Principle," she said to Naruto, who nodded in agreement.

"Hmm, a good name, for now."

"The desire of all mankind to cut through the impossible and walk towards the future…" reflected Olga within her mind as they watched Mash and Ritsuka successfully deflect Excalibur Morgan.

Alter watched as her Noble Phantasm vanished; her wide, surprised eyes stared at the shield while her sword returned to normal without a trace of the black energy.

"Great job, you two!" exclaimed Sétanta as he jumped in front of them, his back turned on them. "But don't let up yet."

"Right!"

Before them, Alter mellowed out; a smile finally appeared on her face as she muttered to herself, "… I had no idea. My powers must be weakening… or rather… yes. It seems my sword has finally been defeated…"

Her eyes fell on Mash and Ritsuka, then to the original King Arthur, her other self who had been summoned under particular circumstances as mandated by her Master, the one that the mage in green said to be a mere nuisance.

"… no… that is no nuisance… that, is someone extraordinary; someone truly worth calling a Master…"

Alone in her thoughts, she did not see the aforementioned Master jump ahead and grab her out of the way.

"!"

"… finally got tired of watching, eh? Lev Lainur… Flauros." Naruto glared at the mage, whose sudden appearance shocked the Alter in his arms. Meanwhile, his actual servant held Olga back before she could dash towards Lev.

"Lev!" cried out Olga; the joy in her eyes was genuine, much to the consternation of Arturia.

"Hold it, Olga," said Arturia as she held Olga back with force, which confused and angered the mage.

"Why?" she questioned, but Arturia ignored her as Sétanta faced the new arrival.

"You… what are you?" his voice was marred with suspicion as he held back a shudder at the mage's presence.

However, due to her inexperience, Mash shuddered visibly as she shielded Ritsuka from some unknown force. "… you stay back, Senpai. That… isn't the Professor Lev we know."

However, Lev ignored them in favour of Naruto, who had secured Alter away from him, and his eyes darkened as he stared at him with visible anger.

"… Uzumaki…!" he growled, as his slitted eyes glowed slightly. "Even now, you interfere with things you don't understand."

Instead of a coherent response, Naruto laughed loudly; his laughter confused his allies, but in the Command Room, the Vice-Director shook his head in amusement.

"What's funny, Vice-Director?" inquired Dr Roman, whom the priest called to be in the Command Room to help monitor those in the Fuyuki.

"I'm just laughing with the Director, Romani because Lev Lainur is an idiot," replied the Vice-Director while Ophelia silently watched the proceedings at the hologram.

"All right, I got that one out of the way." They heard Naruto say as they watched.

"Director, don't antagonise him too much," said the Director through the comms, to which Naruto just replied with another moment of laughter.

"Sorry, I'm just happy our plan went as planned… so, Flauros, you were expecting to kill us with that bomb, right?"

At that question, everyone in the Command Room hardened their faces, except the Vice-Director, but they remained silent as they listened to the words said by their Director.

"Thanks to… someone's clairvoyance, the bombs you planted that would have been where Olga was, had been removed… unfortunately, I could not remove everything because that would tip you off."

The Director's explanation infuriated Lev, but in the Command Room, everyone looked at one another with a strange look as questions started to arrive in their minds, especially the Command Room staff.

"It was me who warned him of the bombs in the Rayshift Chamber," declared the Vice-Director, and rendered more than a few pairs of eyes widened; even Romani was surprised at the admission and the fact that they heard Director Uzumaki said someone had a clairvoyance skill.

So it would seem to them that the priest, Aurelius Leviathan Uzumaki, possessed clairvoyance. But the truth is far stranger than what the Director said, and since the Director used 'clairvoyance' as a cover, the Vice-Director stuck with it.

"… I have so many questions right now," said Romani as he scratched the back of his head, and the priest just nodded.

"I know, but not now."

"FLAUROS!"

Naruto's outburst surprised a lot of them, even Lev.

"You're going to die a horrible death! I will send your head to your king!"

It was finally there that Lev realised what Naruto had been implying all along.

"Don't look so surprised; I know exactly what and who you are!"

Olga, however, was not amused, as she thought Naruto was overreacting, but given that Arturia never let her go, other suspicious thoughts came into her mind.

Sétanta remained silent as he observed the old man do his thing while Alter had her sword readied for another battle, but this time, on the side of her former opponents.

"Lev! What is he talking about?!" shouted Olga, and it got Lev's attention as he turned towards her, but she was shocked to find no affection or kindness from the Lev she knew; instead, all she saw was pure anger.

"… Olga Marie… I placed a bomb right at your feet… but this fool of a Director interfered before you could die… alas, no matter, you will die all the same."

The Head of the Animusphere family was stunned into silence, but Naruto's servant kept her hold on the woman as a safety measure, as she knew that there was delicate situation before them, and she could not allow her Master's protégé to be taken by it.

"… what… are you talking about?" her eyes widened in confusion, but Lev was not finished as he opened his arms wide.

"You've devoted your life to Chaldea… allow me to show you how it is right now." At his words, a space opened above him, and on the other side, amidst the destruction, there was CHALDEAS, the Simulated Global Environment Model, in bright red.

"Take a good look, scion of Animusphere. These are the results of your folly," presented Lev Lainur to the people before him, and even those in the Command Room watched as CHALDEAS turned into a bright red orb.

With the two spaces connected, as expected by the Vice-Director, he called out to Lev.

"Lev Lainur Flauros… good evening, this is Aurelius Marcus Leviticus Leviathan Uzumaki… a Stargazer from beyond the Sea of Stars."

Lev widened his eyes as he heard the Vice-Director's voice echo from the Command Room, but he suppressed his surprise as he focused back on the group before him.

"… old man, you think he got the idea already?" joked Naruto as he stretched his body.

"Tch! Impudent priest, it was you!" Lev's accusing tone was ignored as the Vice-Director replied through the comms.

"Yes, we know you are the agent for the year 2017… to dispose of all humanity."

Ritsuka listened and watched silently; hence, he heard Mash speak to herself.

"Dispose… of humanity?"

"Indeed," voiced by the Director, and everyone turned to him, and in every word he said, Lev's anger arose further and further.

"We said that we lost the future because we could not observe it," he began as everyone who could hear listened.

"But the truth of the matter is different… the future has been incinerated. Our prognosticator said that humanity meets its fall right here at this point in time."

Naruto would have continued if not for the fact that he noticed the way Lev glared at him, but for the moment, he paid him no mind.

"Chaldea is safe for now due to CHALDEAS' magnetic field… but beyond that, it will be the same as here in Fuyuki… once 2019 comes along for Chaldea, it will vanish as well."

"… so, that's why…" muttered Romani, and he continued as those in Fuyuki overheard him, "… it wasn't any network issue that blocked our transmissions to the outside world; rather, we simply lost the outside world itself."

Lev heard him and smirked. "Pfff, you really are perceptive, Romani. A shame I didn't kill you immediately, considering how much of a coward you are."

"Considering your beloved Director went out with it and said what happened, let me just tell you this now… nobody can change this conclusion. Why? Because this is mankind being rejected by its own history."

"Nobody asked you, asshole," interrupted Naruto, and before anyone could react, the Director vanished into the air and appeared before Lev, right fist cocked, and there, he struck.

Once Arturia was certain that Olga would not go and run towards Lev, she let her go and focused on her Master as he struck the mage straight into the space behind him, towards Chaldea itself; then, she walked towards Alter, calmly and as she approached Alter, the darkened Saber faced her.

"To think my Master would save you from that mage… hmm, rather, now that I think about it, it's very much like him to do something like that," stated Arturia while Alter eyed her warily.

"You and I are the same person, but we went on different ends… anyway, feel free to come to Chaldea if you wish, but first, the Grail, I know you have it," said Naruto's Saber as she beckoned Alter to hand her what she asked.

The two King of Knights stared at each other for a moment, but Alter soon relented, and the Singularity's Grail manifested between her hands, and she gave it to Arturia peacefully and willingly.

It signalled the end of this Singularity, as a golden hue surrounded Alter as she slowly started to vanish back to the Throne of Heroes, but she would not go without a word.

"… perhaps, I will come; besides, if I heard it correctly, your Master asked you if you think I eat as much as you do…" then she vanished, and Arturia was frozen in shock and embarrassment, with the duel between Lev and Naruto forgotten briefly.

"Damn you, Master," she muttered as she turned back, Grail in her hands, towards the rest of their motley crew.

"Oh, I'm vanishing too!" exclaimed Sétanta as Mash and Ritsuka approached him, and then he turned to the two.

"Well, this is how it ends for us today; tell the old man to kill that shitty mage for me," he said jokingly, but a peaceful look came over him as he looked towards Ritsuka.

"Though, remember, even if we servants are called to help you out, it's you people - living here, right now - who move on and don't forget, kid, those stars shining brightly above any storm… they will be your guide to the horizon."

Ritsuka nodded with a bright smile and thanked Caster.

"See ya!"

As the events happened in Fuyuki, Naruto gave Lev an unrelenting assault, and the mage could not fight back at all; then, he sensed the two servants in Fuyuki vanish, and as ordered, Arturia retrieved the Grail.

"Father! Rayshift, now!" he barked his orders to the Vice-Director, who nodded, and the Command Room was sent into a frenzy as the staff went into their respective stations and commenced the Rayshift proceedings.

"Oi, you think you'll get away easily, Flauros?" he snarled at the tattered mess of a mage, who spat out blood into Chaldea's floor.

But before Lev could even answer him, a fist encased with Kurama's chakra sent him crashing down the ruins of the chamber, though Naruto burst through the distance quickly and maintained his assault.

Before long, the two were back through the space opened by Lev between Chaldea and Fuyuki.

"Ugh! You'll pay for this transgression, UZUMA-!"

"Ōdama Rasengan!"

Rocks and dust flew everywhere as a massive orb of energy slammed into Lev, and once it was gone, there was a deep crater. At the bottom of it, Lev Lainur Flauros lay unconscious, but before Naruto could send another Rasengan, Lev vanished, taken by whomever he worked for.

There was a moment of silence, then the cave's ceiling began to fall on them, and he immediately pinned for Olga and took her into his arms, and then darkness.

A/N: Well, not how I intended it to be, but it ended up the way it is.
