Ash ran toward the buses until he saw someone familiar close to the buses.
"Woah, Brock? What are you doing here?" Ash asked.
Brock turned around with a baby in his arms. "Oh Ash! It's been awhile!"
Ash looked at the baby with a blank look. "Brock is that yours?"
"Of course! She's gonna grow up to be such a beauty, just like her mom! Too bad you couldn't meet her..."
Serena walked up besides Ash and asked, "hey Ash who is this?"
Ash turned to her and said, "oh right! You never meet him! This is my old pal Brock! He's traveled with me a lot a long time ago before he became a doctor. And Brock this is Serena! I've met her when we were small kids and she has traveled with me through out the Kalos region."
Brock smiled and extended her hand and told her it was nice to meet her. she shook his hand and said, "likewise."
"Oh right! You two should hurry! All the buses are gonna leave soon and you'll be under supervision and have to do jobs around here if you're left behind!"
They both gasped and looked toward the buses. It looked like a couple of them were already leaving.
"Right! It was nice to see ya Brock! Bye!" Ash said. Then they both instantly dashed toward the buses. They made it just in time to catch the last bus. The driver opened the door again, scold them and told them to sit down. They went to the only available seats on the bus and sat down. Ash looked around to see if any of his other friends were on, but they weren't.
"Sorry Ash. I kinda got hung up on tutoring and almost got us into trouble," Serena said.
"Hey don't blame yourself. If I'd known we were short on time I would've known to have spoke with Brock later."
"But if I didn't take so long, you'd have time to speak with him."
"Come on Serena! You were helping someone out who could've needed it today! Brock, I can talk to him easily after school for much longer."
She blushed a bit and looked away a bit. "Yeah that's true..."
"Well anyways, it looks like none of my friends are on this bus, so I guess we can just chat with each other."
Serena looked back at him with a big smile. "Sounds good to me! So how have you been Ash? Bet you won some leagues, right? How is Pikachu doing?" Then she realized that she's asking too many questions and put her hands over her mouth with a blush. "Sorry..."
Then he laughed a bit and said, "no I understand! I sometimes do that too when I haven't seen someone for a long time."
She calmed down a bit and nodded. They continued to chat the whole bus ride.
Earlier, Ursula along with Jessie, who was wearing a disguise, boarded a bus with Gary.
"Where could he be?" Gary wondered. He would've liked to chat with his ex rival some, but it always seemed impossible.
"Gezz, took him long enough," Ursula muttered. Gary took a seat by himself, but Ursula sat right next to him. Jessie sat on the other side. "Should I really help this brat get with him?" Jessie thought to herself.
"Hey there," Ursula said. Gary was looking out the window not paying attention to anyone else. However, when Ursula spoke, she glanced at her and sighed.
Gary asked in an unamused voice, "you again?"
"I'm thrilled to see you too, hun!" Then Ursula leaned in close and whispered in his ear, "listen, your friend Ash is going out with a close friend of mine. If you don't do what I want, I'll break them up."
Then Gary glared at her and asked, "what do you mean?"
Ursula grinned and said, " I mean what I say, hun. You don't want to see your friend hurt, right?"
"I know Ash isn't dating anyone, so stop with the lies." Gary then watched out the window again.
"They are getting together soon. Though I'll let you see for yourself."
Gary was paying no mind to her now. Then she got a phone call, so she pushed whoever was sitting by Jessie aside and sat down. The guy yelled at her, but that got the bus drivers attention and he was told to ether sit down or he can walk. So he sat by Gary. Then Ursula called the person back who called her, which was Harley.
"What is it that you want?" she asked.
"Bad news hun. Looks like Ash missed the bus or something. I found his group of friends but-"
"You idiot!" She screamed. Everyone looked at her but she ignored them.
"Listen girl, I ain't getting into trouble just to get what you want! I'm still not done, so I will get him to-"
"You said that the last time..." she irritably said.
"But the day isn't over, is it?"
"Whatever. But you better not let me down."
"Listen sweets, I'm on the same bus as this Misty girl. She was pretty pissed at Ash not showing up to meet his friends, but I got her to calm down and said some good things about him. So we have no problems there."
"Good. Just don't screw up." Ursula than hung up and glared at the window. Jessie glared at her and thought, "Guess nothing's going right for the little brat, huh?"
Ash and Serena made it at school and looked around for his friends. He couldn't find them, but Ursula found them. At first, she was a little worried about Ash hanging around another girl. But then she figured that this was a minor set back. As she walked to school, she texted Harley about this and told him to try to him with Misty, but ether one will do. She also told him that she well get things done quicker than expected, so he'd better do his part. After she sent the message, she told Jessie that she can do whatever now.
"What a waste. I could've went with the others," she said. Then Jessie left. Ursula then went to someone's locker. She looked around to see if that person was around, quickly slipped something inside, and left.
Iris got off the bus with Harley and Misty. But once she saw someone, she had to go and say hello. She told Misty and Harley to wait one moment there. Then she walked over to him and shouted, "boo!"
He jumped a bit with a shout and turned around. "Oh Iris. It... It's good to see you," he said.
She giggled at his reaction. "Wow. A great detective connoisseur getting spooked by a girl."
Cilan laughed nervously and asked, "I wasn't spooked that bad was I?"
"Yeah right! You were horrified!" She teased. "But really it's great to see you too!" Then she remembered the other two she was with. "Oh right! You should meet Misty and Harley!" But then the one minute bell rang.
"How about later? We shouldn't miss class," Cilan said.
She nodded. "Yeah, I'll look for you at the cafeteria entrance at lunch?"
"sounds good."
"Alright see you then!" Then they all ran off toward class.
Lunch time came and Drew walked out of class. He went to his locker and was about to put his backpack away when he noticed something that looked like garbage on the bottom of his locker. He picked it up and noticed it had his name on it with a heart after it. Drew took a look at the note.
Drew, I've enjoyed spending these past few days with you. It reminded me of when we were kids. But spending these days with you I have realized something, something that'd be better to discuss person to person. So please meet me by the big tree near the field during lunch, k?
Love, May
Drew folded up the paper as he started walking. He wondered what May want. His heart was pounding, and he was eager to see what she wanted. From the small note, whatever it was didn't seem bad to him. But for now he kept a calm appearance as he made his way to the location said on the note. Once he got there, he saw someone walk up to him.
"Who are you, and wheres May?"
"Sorry to disappoint, but she isn't here." Then she walked right in his space. "But I'm much better looking then her, right?"
Drew backed away, but she kept getting closer. "Get out of my face! Your wasting me time!"
She held on to his shoulders and whispered in his ear, "no need to play hard to get. I know you want me."
Drew push her off and shouted, "get off me!"
But Ursula didn't give up and instead shoved her lips into his. Drew's eye's went wide, but after awhile he shoved her off and Ursula was down on the ground.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Then he left. But Ursula looked back at him with a grin as he left. Then Jessie came from behind the tree.
"Did you get that?" Ursula asked.
"Yes, and have already posted it on the web," Jessie replied. Then she showed her something on her phone.
"Oh that's perfect! I'm impressed, you got a knack for this!"
"Your not so bad yourself, bra- I mean Ursula!"
"Well, we aren't done yet. We still got a lot to do before lunch ends."
"Right, let's get started then."
Ursula nodded, and Jessie and Ursula went their separate ways.
