Going out Fishing for a Big Catch!
Makoto and Tsubaki are seen walking through the hallway of the science place known as Sector Seven as they were called here by Doctor Kokonoe herself.
"So, what do you think Doctor Kokonoe called us out here for?" Makoto wondered, knowing the cat science woman rarely calls anyone outside of working for her.
"I'm not sure, but it must be very important to call the police force such as us out of the blue like that." Tsubaki stated.
"Well, it better be good! Today is supposed to be my day off from work and I was looking forward to getting this new video game I preordered." Makoto complained.
Tsubaki sigh as it felt a little weird that Makoto is acting like a little kid thinking about video games at a time like this, but sometimes she couldn't blame her friend for just wanting to have fun in life and she always do her very best in her work as well showing she's more mature than she looks. This makes Tsubaki feel envious toward her squirrel friend wondering what her life would be like if she was more carefree like Makoto, she also hope that she would still meet Jin and fall for him as she is now though still trying to find the courage to admit her feelings to him.
"Good, you two are here." Bullet said standing in front of the meeting room waiting for them to arrive.
"Hey there, Bullet, long time no see!" Makoto greeted.
"It's only been two months since our last hangout, kid." Bullet chuckled.
"It felt longer to me, hanging out together at that restaurant and we stopped some troublemakers from causing a scene there too." Makoto smiled remembering that time.
"Except you two were the ones causing the scene and almost trashed the whole place too." Tsubaki corrected her.
"Hey that was NOT our fault, those three men were drunk and one of them had a gun. Who brings a gun into a restaurant?" Makoto defended her point in view.
"That doesn't change the fact that you punched the restaurant manager right in the kisser and giving him a nosebleed." Bullet mentioned.
"Th-That was an accident, I couldn't see because of all the commotion!" Makoto said.
"Anyway, let just go inside. The Doctor is waiting for us to start." Bullet escorted them into the room.
"Ah, it looks like the final guess have come!" A strong-looking man said.
"Whoa, Bang, you're here too?" Makoto surprised to see another familiar face here as well.
"Greetings Makoto and Tsubaki, you both are looking wonderful and strong as the last time I saw you two." Bang greeted.
"Well, we have been a little busy with police work and all." Tsubaki said.
"Okay, if you're all done greeting each other we can get the meeting started." Kokonoe said turning her chair around and giving everyone the serious look.
"Whoa, you look a little more serious than usually, Doc. Did something happened?" Makoto asked curious.
"Yes, to be more specific Tagger was involved in an incident against his will two weeks ago." Kokonoe revealed as Tagger walks into the meeting room.
"What do you mean?" Tsubaki asked.
"Before we go into the details of that, let us ask you three something. Do you all remember of the young boy, Carl Clover?" Tagger asked.
"Cute Little Carl? Of course, I remember him, he used to go to the military academy with us and we were the best of friends!" Makoto giggled, remembering how cute and brave Carl was back then.
"He was a child prodigy being able to advance through the higher grades, he would've been a great policeman or a high-ranking soldier if he hadn't dropped out." Tsubaki added.
"It was because of his father, who had mysteriously disappeared a year ago, murdered his own wife and eldest daughter. He came to me for training in combat and then left on his own." Bang mentioned.
"I must say that boy has a good heart though I feared that his revenge for his father would cloud his judgement and pull him down a dark path." Bang confessed.
"Well, it would seem you fear has true come." Tagger said confusing the loud ninja man.
"Carl was last seen in the abandon part of the city, controlling Tagger like a puppet." Kokonoe revealed.
"What?!" Makoto, Tsubaki, and Bang gasped.
"It's true, Carl had me trapped in his secret lair for two months brainwashing me into doing his biding and had me attack someone for his experiments." Tagger explained.
"No, that can't be right! Little Carl would never do something like that!" Makoto refused to believe this.
"I'm sorry, but it's the truth I was unable to uncontrol myself and I feared I could've done something worst if I hadn't been stop." Tagger said pushing back his shades a little.
"Stopped? Was that you, Bullet?" Bang asked.
"No, the battle was already on before I got there." Bullet answered honestly, shaking her head.
"The who stopped Tagger was this kid." Kokonoe revealed a video picture of Jigoku.
"Hey, wait, isn't he that friend Tao introduced us to a little while ago?" Makoto recalled.
"Yes, I believe it was nearly three weeks ago." Tsubaki nodded.
"Umm, you two know him?" Bang wondered.
"Not personally, we only met him because Tao was also present and mentioned that he's living in her village. His name is Jigoku the Bloodedge if I recall the name correctly." Tsubaki explained.
"Jigoku the Bloodedge, Kagura mentioned that name when he was visiting me in Ikagura." Bang remembered hearing that name.
"He's also defeated Tagger single-handedly in an all-out fight." Kokonoe mentioned, shocking the others.
"No fucking way!" Makoto gasped.
"It's true, the kid not only beat the shit out of this idiot, but he also displayed a sudden burst of power as well." Kokonoe showed the footage Jigoku unleashing the power of his Blazblue and battling Tagger on even foot right to the ending of the battle.
"Holy Nuts! Jigoku is even tougher than when he fought those street thugs!" Makoto commented, feeling exciting about wanting to face him in a fight.
"His fighting style seem to be self-taught as he lacks formerly combat training, but he definitely shows great potential as a warrior." Bang pointed out, wondering if his boy would be interested in being a ninja.
"I never knew there would be another person who can match against the Red Devil himself, the only one who I can think of giving him trouble is the Mad Dog himself." Tsubaki stated.
"I've been trying to figure out what kind of power the kid did while I was fixing up Tagger, the only matching I could find that this power is similar to that of Noel's Power of the Eye." Kokonoe explained.
"The Power of the Eye, you mean this boy is also the Successor of the Azure?" Tsubaki asked shock.
"That would seem to be the case, but his power is completely different than Noel's meaning I have no idea what his true capability could be, and something tells me Carl wants to know that as well." Kokonoe worried that Carl might go far to make Jigoku part of his experiments.
"This is very disturbing, indeed. Carl has walked into the darkness just like his father before him, I fear that there will come a day when we will have to strike him down if he goes to far." Bang feared that he will have to kill his former pupil with his own two hands.
"That won't happen! I'm sure if we can just talk to Carl, maybe we can reason with him." Makoto hoped to save her little friend from his dark self.
"I don't think he'll listen. While I was held in his lair, I tried reasoning with him so many times, but he just brushes them off saying his father was trying to make a big breakthrough and he seem to understand part of it. And just before he sealed my mind, he overheard him mentioning something." Tagger remembered the last thing Carl said.
(Flashback)
Tagger is seen striped into a large table just about his size, and Carl is seen typing some data commands on the computer that is input into Tagger's mind with his Machine God: Nirvana by his side.
"Hehe, I can't wait for everyone to participate in the game very soon." Carl chuckled and clicked the final button.
And with that, Tagger's mind stops functioning and his body started moving only to Carl's command.
(Flashback End)
"Game, what did he mean by that?" Bang asked being caution.
"I don't know, but I assume it's not good at all." Tagger decided to prepare himself for any kind of threat Carl may unleash.
"I agree, and my gut is telling me that this kid is at the certain of it all." Kokonoe eyed on the screen staring at Jigoku wondering what is that kid doing right now.
(With Jigoku)
"ACHOO?!" Jigoku sneezed.
"Hmm, someone must be talking about me. Probably Tao." Jigoku shrugged as he throws the little hook with the bait into the water after catching his fourth fish.
Jigoku is sitting on a small fishing boat in the middle of the big lake hoping to catch some big fishes or dozens of other fishes because it is his turn to go out fishing since Torakaka already had her turn last week and Tao is forbidden of fishing again since she keeps eating the fish she caught raw and even forgot about it most of the times too. Although, he finds this type of outdoor activate boring because there's nothing to do besides waiting for the fish to snatch on the hook but would give anything for some excitement right now like the battle he had two weeks ago.
"Whoa, hey now!" Jigoku was almost caught off guard when he felt the fishing pole pulled by another fish and quickly reel it in catching another fish.
Anyway, speaking of that battle, Jigoku still could not figure out what was that power he unleashed back then and even the Kaka tribe elders didn't have any idea of what this Blazblue power is. It felt incredible when he first uses it in battle like he has unlocked a new level of power from within and it was so powerful that he could take on the strongest fighters in the world though it was also exhausting after using it in battle. He was lucky to still have the enough energy to walk back to the Kaka village before collapsing on the bed and making Tao worry a little, but now he has a new motivation to get stronger to master this new power and hope to fight even stronger opponents than that big muscle red guy.
"I wonder, if he knows about this power?" Jigoku asked himself as he pull out his sword looking at it, thinking about that red coat man.
"Mom, dad, and twin sis Tengoku. I promise to avenge you guys and beat the living shit out of the bastard who killed you." Jigoku growled tighting his grip on the sword's handle.
He can still remember the day that everyone around him was destroyed, his family was killed and their bodies were on the pool of their own blood, and the feeling of their blood in his hand while looking at the killer though couldn't see the killer's appearance because it was dark that night. All he knows is that the killer uses some kind of power making the swords he had floating around and slashing at his family as they cried in pain and begged for their life. What is worse is that no one believed him one bit and he had no living relatives to take him in, he would have thought about ending his own life if it wasn't for the red coated man giving him the sword and found a new purpose in life.
"I'll become strong, I'll be the strongest so no one would ever lose their family ever!" Jigoku declared.
His snap out of his thoughts when he notices his fishing pole is moving from the line.
"Finally got a bite!" Jigoku excited as he grabs the pole and start pulling in.
Whatever fish that got caught in the pole is putting up a good fight as Jigoku was almost pulled into the water from the struggle, but he wouldn't give up so easily as he puts in more of his strength to reel in the fish showing it who's boss around here.
"Oh boy, I bet it's a big one!" Jigoku grunted smiling.
With one final pull on the line, a big fish about the sizes of a human's arm came out of the water bringing a big smile on Jigoku's face that he actually caught something big today then suddenly an even larger fish about the size of a three connected school bus almost like a snake and the Wolf-Reaper drop his jaws of shock. Before he could even utter a word about that fish, the snake-like fish dive down straight toward him swallowing him whole and breaking the boat in half and swimming down into the lake.
Only ten seconds have pass and the snake fish suddenly rose up again waving its body around in pain like something is attacking it from the inside, or someone like Jigoku as he tears through making a hole with his sword and jump up about a few feet higher than the snake fish.
"I ain't no fish food, you fucking sushi!" Jigoku shouted in rage.
He dives at the snake fish to slice its head off, but it dodges and smack him away toward a tree with its tail fin. This only made Jigoku made and charge at the large fish again jump high to dodge its tail and sliding on his body before he jumps again to slash at the eye making it hiss in pain. Jigoku stab his sword on the side to give himself a jump into the air several feet higher, he spins around fast and dive toward the snake fish unleashing a fierce attack before jumping away and landed on the ground next to the lake, then the snake fish literally fell in sliced pieces and they float onto the water.
"Alright, got myself a big catch this time. Man, the Kaka tribe are going to be in for a big surprise when they see this." Jigoku chuckled.
Jigoku use his fishing pole to reel in the pieces of the dead fish and placing them in the large basket, stacking them on top of each other and lift the basket up over his head.
"Looks like this fishing trip turned out to be better, but fighting strong fighter is still better than this." Jigoku commented as he walks back to the village.
Unknown to him, a small figure wearing an orange hoodie is watching Jigoku leaving from a higher view standing on a tree branch.
"Hmm, that kid looks promising. Definitely got the power otherwise I would've thought my daughter is making a poor joke about Tagger being beaten by a kid." The short old man smirked.
"Jigoku the Bloodedge, maybe I should see this for myself." The short old man said and jump off the branch, disappearing from the scene.
Jigoku stop in his tracks and turn around looking at the tree where the short man wondering what was that strange feeling he just had, but seeing there is nothing here he decided it was probably just a bird and continue walking back to the village with his big catch of the day.

Sorry for not updating the new chapter yesterday, I decided to get a day off from waiting and had a little doctor appointment nothing serious.
Hope you all like this chapter with the first part of Makoto and Tsubaki meeting some friends and talking about Jigoku's sudden new power and trying to figure out what Carl is up as his big plan will be reveal soon. And hope you like how Jigoku got himself a big catch in the lake though it would also appear that getting the snake fish wasn't the only thing he caught as he'll soon get a big surprise as meeting one or two important people.
