Later in the afternoon Sonic, Tails and Knuckles were at the TV watching Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi while Tom and Maddie were making some hot drinks in the kitchen. "I am still having trouble understanding this... The big berth creature managed to become the head of a crime empire despite not looking like he would be able to move himself; he has the princess dressed like that as a prisoner but she still manages to choke him to death with her chain?" Knuckles asked as they were at the ending of the first act.
"Well the princess becomes a butt kicking hero when she gets vengeance and even before she refused to back down to Darth Vader himself!" Sonic replied smiling thinking about cool action hero princesses would be; much better than the early Disney princesses who needed saving and at least Jasmine was willing to stick it to Jafar.
"A lot of things confuse me about the Star Wars; such as starting with the 4th episode. Plus since when were movies episodes?" Knuckles asked perplexed and Sonic smirked.
"Well connected movie universes like the MCU are now basically big budget TV shows!" Sonic pointed out with a laugh.
"Plus I read on the computer that it's to mimic the film serials that George Lucas had grown up on." Tails explained having been excited to explore the internet on the computer as well as try out the various machines that Earth had.
There was a knock on the door and Tom and Maddie answered it for Jojo to come in to embrace her Uncle Tommy and Aunt Maddie; there was was also smiling Rachel and Randall who were invited in.
"Hey Tails, Knuckles... Jojo is here! She is great; got me my shoes!" Sonic shouted speeding to Jojo for a hug that was eagerly returned.
"You're Sonic's friend who had that backpack and you're... Red. Welcome to the family!" Jojo said greeting Tails and Knuckles who smiled as they waved to her.
"Here is my favourite nephew!" Rachel said looking uncharacteristically happy as she picked up a stunned Sonic for an embrace.
"Oh yeah you; you got married to the undercover GUN guy and before that; we had to tie you up and borrow your car..." Sonic said as he was put down and Rachel grimaced and then glared at Tom.
"Yeah; she decided to just try to roll with the whole alien animal kid you guys have and the car thing is still a sore subject for her... The story she had to tell to the insurance... Plus between us, we are cool right?" Randall asked putting out a fist bump motion but Tom shook his head and Maddie wasn't sure.
"Right well... Hey buddy; Uncle Randy is in the house!" Randall said greeting the three alien children.
"So is this the guy who infiltrated Maddie's family to hunt Sonic down as part of a government conspiracy?" Knuckles asked as Tom smirked and Sonic laughed while Tails just looked nervous.
"I don't think they like you; can't blame them as I thought I was getting a new dad but he turned out to be a liar." Jojo spoke face down to the sighing expression on Sonic.
"Yeah look... I am sorry about all that... I hurt this family I thought that I was signing up to catch a dangerous alien... You have to admit that people would be afraid with that crazy speed power off yours..." Randall said to Sonic as he raised his eyebrow along with the others. "So can we try to start over please if you can give me a chance..." Randall asked offering out his hand when there an alert being heard.
A GUN facility in Montana and agents were standing on guard as in the rooms there were scientists taking apart Robotnik's technology and building new weapons with it. A portal opened up and then out came Rava who easily took the bullets that the GUN soldiers were firing upon him, he then aimed his staff right at some fuel tanks and then fired upon some fire magic making them explode. He then tackled them as Robotnik came out.
"Thank you so much for upgrading my glove; my most gracious master... Soon you will have a robotic army worthy of the next overlord of the cosmos." Robotnik said as Rava then shot out an electric attack short circuiting the base as Robotnik then hacked into the systems; with the robots being summoned and then Rava used his staff to transform them so they looked like imposing robots and colorful with mainly red and yellow colors.
"Shall be commanded by me and yourself with your glove Robotnik; soon once we have taken care of these foolish primates then we shall take the rest of the tech to expand my army." Rava said using his staff to take care of the reinforcements soldiers as they were coming.
"Commander; we are being invaded by some lizard who is taking over the base... Used some witchcraft to create new robots... Plus Robotnik is back once again..." one of the soldiers said into his communicator.
"I like the new makeover master; definitely better than the horror show they were making with my babies... it looked like someone took a big fat number 1, smushed it and used it as paint over the Mona De Lisa..." Robotnik said in disgust as he looked over the GUN files for the base on his glove. However he noticed one entitled Project: Metal; he looked onto it and saw that they had taken the footage feed of his Badniks from fighting Sonic, scanned his moves and fighting style and downloaded it into the project. "Project: Metal... This is intriguing..." Robotnik muttered as one of the soldiers came up to him and took off his helmet and mask.
"I can take you there right now Doctor; it's a real doozy and I never doubted that you weren't gone for good..." Stone told Robotnik with great relief as Rava noticed this exchange.
"Just talking to my old number 2 who is now your new number 3 and another underling for your underling master!" Robotnik then shouted to Rava and then took Stone by the ear. "This wizard lizard is going to help us find the 7 Emeralds that my Master Emerald broke into and scattered throughout. We play along for now..." Robotnik whispered into his ear as Stone nodded once he understood and left with Robotnik but not before the mad scientist doctor activated the new Badniks and had them attack the soldiers.
Back at the Wachowski place; Randall and Jojo joined the three alien animal teens in watching the Star Wars movie when there was an alert going off. Randall got up and went to the kitchen where he put his bag and went to the stairs to have some privacy.
"Robotnik? He fell from a Godzilla sized robot from what I heard... I will get my gear and start to make my way; I will regroup with my squad and hopefully we can cut them off..." Randall said only to turn around to notice everyone there.
"So Robotnik is back... Again? He is like Loki now with not being able to be killed... Tell me where he is and the colorful animal Avengers will take care of the rest." Sonic said as Knuckles cracked his well knuckles.
"I look forward again to punching my former friend real hard in the groin." Knuckles said as Randall shook his head.
"Count me in as well..." Rachel said smirking excitedly as he got looks from everyone; "What? Did you see me in Hawaii? I took down government agents with those things anda wedding cart; I was basically a black woman James Bond!" Rachel reminded them as Randall shook his head.
"No... Too dangerous... Especially for you Rachel... Plus, you want to drive as civillians in an active situation?" Randall shouted as Sonic then ran away and came back with Tails' backpack which he gave to Tails and his saddel where he took out a Ring.
"We are basically better at taking on Robotnik than you government stooges; besides with this then you can get there faster, just need an address..." Sonic said and smirked as Randall sighed. He then typed out an address for SOnic as he tossed him a Ring before taking one out.
"Can you please help him get his stuff while we try and see if there is enough for him to take care of when his ready?" Sonic asked and Tom and Maddie nodded. Sonic then opened up a portal which he jumped into along with Tails and Knuckles.
Tails began using his gadgets against the Badniks and using the Miles Electric to confuse them with holograms off him; Knuckles then began punching them and Soninc was charging into them as a ball. "You!" Rava snapped taking notice of Tails who gasped.
"You know of this creature Fox?" Knuckles noticing Rava as Sonic then launched himself as a ball at Rava's grip to get him to drop Tails with Knuckles helping him up.
"I ran into him once when I was searching for Sonic." Tails explained gulping as Sonic looked at Rava oddly.
"Never saw anything like you before ugly but I bet that Lizard from the Garfield Spider-Man movies isn't anything we can't handle..." Sonic said as Rava used his magic to lift him up telepathically as everyone didn't notice a Ring portal opening up with a rabbit shaped silhouette coming through it.
"You... Fast hedgehog... Blue... I remember... A hedgehog we came to my world and stole my staff, gave his child your power... I was pushed back by the owls..." Rava spoke as Sonic gasped.
"Wait... You knew me before Longclaw found me... You knew my father?" Sonic asked as Rava grinned evilly.
"I knew a thief that stole my staff but I ended him and I will end his spawn right now..." Rava said and Sonic grew angry and charged breaking free right at Rava but he took out the Chaos Emerald and used a glowing green blast to send Sonic straight into a wall.
He grew closer and shot blasts at Knuckles and Tails which they dodged; he came towards Sonic only for him to be punched hard in the fist by a robotic hand.
"Hope you don't mind little ol me helping you out and let mah say that it's an honor to meet Sonic THE Hedgehog in the flesh." a teenage yellow furred rabbit creature spoke with a country accent wearing a pink leotard and having robotic legs and a robotic left arm.
"Wow... It's like Applejack was a rabbit and had Winter Soldier appendages..." Sonic muttered in awe as the rabbit went to work helping to fight Rava and the Badniks as Tails' eyes widened upon seeing her and the rabbit sighed upon noticing him.
Rava then began focusing on telepathically taking tech to transform into more Badniks and then opened up a portal; "We shall meet again; I have more pressing concerns..." Rava said disappearing with the Badniks before they could follow.
Then came in was Randall with his Squad followed by Rachel with a yellow colored blaster yelling out as she was aiming at every direction, "Don't mind her; we borrowed some of your things Tails and we noticed too late to go back that we had a stowaway..." Tom muttered disapprovingly as Jojo waved.
"So you guys made a new friend?" Maddie asked as the rabbit waved to them and looked at Tails.
"Been a while Tails?" the rabbit asked and Tails nodded.
"You... Know eachother?" Sonic asked confused as Tails nodded.
"Bunnie and I came from the same village..." Tails explained as Knuckles came up to her with a hand gesture motion.
"Welcome to Earth; so glad you could lend assistance with your metal arm..." Knuckles said as he was punched in the guy by a cross looking Bunnie.
"I know who you are Knuckles; last of the Echidnas wanting the Master Emerald and trying to kill Sonic..." Bunnie said sternly as Sonic came between them.
"It's all cool now; we are friends... He did try to kill me but we patched things up..." Sonic said to Bunnie's confusion.
"You will have to explain that sometime sugah; but I guess I need to explain why I am here first..." Bunnie muttered to much nodding.
Stone led Robotnik down an elevator to a classified area and they were metal with a robotic silver colored except for glowing red visor eyes and made to resemble Sonic in shape; "GUN wanted to neutralise Sonic as an alien threat but also wanted something as strong to fight the next one..." Stone explained as Robotnik marvelled at it.
"Primitive... But the idea... Impressive for IQs lower than myself..." Robotnik muttered hacking into the servers some more in order to activate the robot and then took out the quill piece he took from Sonic and inserted it into the robot powering it up.
A portal opened up and Rava came out; "We need to make a tactical retreat now; few time to waste underlings..." Rava snapped as Robotnik then showed off the robot.
"I think this one more robot needs a fresh makeover my master?" Robotnik suggested as Rava sighed and then aimed the staff at the robot...
