The Aura of Death (Sequence 2)

After getting settled in finally after 2 months of fighting demonic creatures, an army of animal human cross breeds, and completing half of a treasure hunt so far, you'd think that the Frye twins would have an easier time in this new world called Remnant... Well you'd be wrong. In fact things are gonna be even harder than before... Then again when has saving the world been easy?

6. Now it's over

5 Huntsmen and women (Huntspeople?) in training vs a bar full of a whole gang. These aren't mindless Grimm, but living living beings who can hold weapons and kill just as efficiently as anyone else. RWBY has faced the White Fang before but JNPR has yet to be experienced with this type of enemy. Evie definitely has no issue about this, but again, JNPR has yet to fight other humans before. But they will have no problem defending themselves and their fellow teammates from ruthless thugs, which means bad news for said thugs. Both sides were in fighting stance, ready to attack the other side with everything they got and all they needed was a reason to attack. Before anyone did attack however, Lil Miss Malachite snapped her finger to get everyone's attention.

"Well well... Guess I underestimated you kid" She said. "Stand down. No need to get out of control" She said to her gang. The gang members looked at each other, with unsure looks, before putting their weapons away following their leaders request.

"You too guys. I'll talk to her" Evie said to her friends. They got out of fighting stance, but kept their weapons in their hands in case anything happens. Evie walked over to the table that Lil Miss was at. "Smart move"

"Look, I hate Neo too. That lil bitch causes nothing but trouble when she comes into town. Her and that now dead boyfriend of hers... But I also owed her a pretty big favor involving my nieces in Vale" She said. "The girl is a psychopath. I've tried to deal with her after you were gone but now she's blackmailing me to get her out of Mistral"

"That so?" Evie asked and rubbed her chin with her finger. "Perhaps... we can help each other. You clearly need her dealt with, and we need her dead in general"

She laughed. "You? You nearly died last time you dealt with her"

"Perhaps if I wasn't blindsided and betrayed" Evie said and crossed her arms.

"Alright alright. Fair point" Lil Miss said. "So... No hard feelings? It was only business after all. I'm sure you'd understand"

"Tell me where Neo is... and this may be the last time you deal with us" Evie said.

She crossed her arms and gave Evie a look. "I sure hope you know what your getting yourself into lil girl" She said. "You'll find Neo in the Mistral Airfield. Awaiting a Bullhead ride out of the city" She said. "Be careful. She had help breaking out of prison and I'm sure they'll help her escape the kingdom"

"Much appreciated" Evie said. She was about to walk away but then Lil Miss got her attention one more time.

"Oh and Evie?" She tossed Evie the pouch of Lien that she had originally paid Lil Miss. "Here... to be honest I wasn't expecting you to actually have the money at first"

As she was talking, Evie casually counted the Lien to make sure it was all there. After that, she put it away and motioned her team to leave with her. They all walked out of the bar. "If we hurry we can catch Neo before she leaves the Kingdom" She said.

"Evie wait" Jaune said. "You weren't... serious when you said we'd kill her right?" Jaune asked.

Evie rolled her eyes. "Of course not Jaune. I'd never ask you guys to do that..." She said. She put her hands on his shoulders. "I'M going to kill her... Is that a problem?" She asked.

"N-No... of course not. She nearly killed you and Nora" Jaune said. "it's just... This still seems wrong"

Evie nodded. "I understand... But in times like these where it's up to us to get justice, just remember that everything is permitted"

"Oooooh... I like the sound of that" Nora said with her signature evil mastermind grin. "Lets kill this crazy bitch!"

"That's the spirit Nora!" Evie said and pat her back. "How about you Pyrrha? You in too?"

"Is that even a question?" Pyrrha asked with a smirk.

"What about me?" Ren asked.

"Oh... Sorry. I kinda just assumed you were gonna go where Nora goes"

Ren frowned, not because that was rude but because that was true. "Just looking out for her... that's all" He said.

"Listen everyone. This isn't going to be easy. I need your help to get to Neo without her detecting us. This will be our only chance to get her before she leaves" Evie said to them.

"Don't worry Evie... If anything Neo should be more afraid of us now than ever" Jaune said and put a hand on her shoulder.

Evie smiled and nodded at her friends. As they all began to leave, Evie pulled Pyrrha over to the back. "Uh... so... about that thing back at your house" She said.

Pyrrha had a frown on her face, knowing Evie is referring to the kiss. "O-Oh god... I'm sorry. Did I push a limit? I-I didn't mean to-"

"No No No! Relax... I liked it" Evie said. "It's just... what do we do now? After the night of the dance with Jaune, I don't know if we should tell him or not" She said.

"Oh..." Pyrrha said, with a blush. "Perhaps... We'll think it over after we kill Neo"

"Good call" Evie said with a nod and smile. They ran back up to the group to catch up. Next stop... Mistral Airfield.

Downtown Vale - 4:40PM

David, and Yang reappeared in the middle of town. David's teleportation Semblance to his machete has a long range, so he was able to leave his weapon in the city, and be able to teleport across the ocean between Beacon Academy and the city. So while all the ferry ships were delayed due to the earthquake explosion that went off underneath the city, David was able to slip out due to all the confusion. To his disappointment however a certain pissed off blonde ex girlfriend was able to teleport with him. She wrapped an arm around his neck to try and put him in a choke hold, but David hit her in the head with the handle of his machete in his hand. He was able to push her back then kick her in the gut to get her back. David slowly backed up, his weapon pointed at her. "You know I won't kill you Yang... but I really suggest you leave"

"After what you did to Jacob? I LOVED him!" Yang yelled.

"Sex isn't love Yang! Being ok with him fucking any woman he wants is not LOVE!" David said. "What we had? That was love... I'm trying to fix this world for the better good. And if you still loved me, you'll stand down so I can show you what I mean"

Yang scoffed at him. "Nice try David. I'm not listening to you!" Yang said. "What Jacob and I had was real! I know it..."

"Yang you don't know SHIT about Jacob! He's a monster! And I don't say that lightly... He has a dark secret that I know for a fact that he never got around telling you yet. Why else are you here protecting this map that you know nothing about?" David asked.

"So he kept a few secrets to himself. So what? And we're all killers David!" Yang said.

David chuckled sarcastically. "Grimm isn't the type of killer I was talking about... And I'm not referring to Torchwick either. Do you know about his life before Beacon? And I'm not talking about his bullshit Achievement City cover story either Yang. Jacob and Evie are from a whole other world entirely" David said.

"Oh for fucks sake! now you really are desperate to make him look like the bad guy David!" Yang said, just getting more and more mad having to listen to him speak.

"I am NOT lying Yang! You really think I'd make that up?" He asked. "Come with me and I'll show you what I'm talking abo-" Yang at this point had enough. She used Gambel Shroud to blast herself over to David then delivered a powerful punch to the face that sent him flying back, crashing into a wooden gazebo behind him. it was 5 seconds of silence until David got himself out of the rubble, and glared at Yang. "Alright Hothead. We'll do this the hard way" He said, then pulled out his machete as he charged after her.

Yang dodged his machete swipes by blasting herself to different sides of David and delivering a few shotgun blasts to him. But unlike before, David wasn't being distracted and wasn't going to be blasted across the town again.

Meanwhile in Beacon

As Jacob arrived back to the academy to gear up real quick on supplies, he was stopped by Ruby Blake and Weiss. "Jacob! Where have you been? The whole school just shook randomly and we can't find Yang" Ruby said.

"What? Yang isn't with you?" Jacob asked.

"No. And someone ransacked our room and broke our window" Weiss said.

"Oh god... It was David. There's no time to explain but we need to find him" Jacob said. "Where's Tai Yang?"

"He left Beacon just before the earthquake" Ruby said.

"Jacob what the hell is going on? Why would David trash our room?" Blake asked. "He's always been so nice"

"Yeah and that's what pisses me off even more about all this" Jacob said. Just as he was talking, the girl's scrolls went off. They all checked and saw that Yang had automatically activated an emergency tracker, meaning she was currently in trouble and needs backup.

The team gasped. "Yang's in the middle of a fight! but it says shes in the city right now" Ruby said.

Jacob widen his eyes, knowing full well who she was fighting. "We need to go NOW!" He said and ran past them. "Come on! A bullhead is waiting for us" He said.

The girls all gathered their weapons and followed Jacob. No time for the team to ask Jacob any questions, that'll be for later.

Back to Vale

Tai Yang was walking down the sidewalk in the city. He was one part happy to see his girls, as well as his whole team... but another part of him didn't didn't like the idea of Jacob Frye with them. From what he saw today, the boy was nothing more than a dumbass pothead who all he wants is to get in his daughters pants. He wasn't an idiot. He noticed that Jacob had no bed in the RWBY room, which means he either is sleeping on the floor which is unlikely. Or... hes in the same bed as one of the girls on the team, he just prayed for Jacobs sake it wasn't Yangs bed.

Speaking of Yang, he was completely caught off guard when he heard a two people yelling, then Yang flying right by him and crashing right through the window of a store next to him. "What the... Yang?!" He asked and ran over to help her up.

Yang groaned and rubbed her head. "Dad...? get out of here... hurry" She said to him all dazed from the fighting.

"W-What are you talking about?" He asked.

Just then, David walked over, scraping his machete on the ground in an intimidating way. "Mr. Xiao Long... I'm sorry you had to see this" He said.

"David? Are you... Why the fuck are you hurting my daughter?!" He asked. He got in between Yang and David. "Get the fuck away from her this instant!" He said.

"Oh Tai Yang... Don't make this harder than it needs to be" He said. He charged at Tai Yang very fast and grabbed him by his throat. He lifted him off the ground as Tai Yang was just gasping for air and trying to get free. "This was supposed to be an easy job! Nobody except that prick Jacob needed to die!" He said. He was ready to stab Tai Yang in the gut, but then his machete was pulled right out of his hand, due to a certain gauntlet grappling hook. David was super confused for that split second, and before he could say anything, Jacob came from the above and double kicked David right in the face. David then grunted, letting go of Tai Yang before falling to the ground.

Ruby sped over and pulled Tai Yang out of the way, Tai Yang however was coughing and holding his throat. "Jacob?" He asked.

"You're alright Tai Yang" Jacob said, then he glared at David as he, Weiss and Blake got in position to attack.

"You... You're alive!? I left you to die in those fucking mines!" David shouted. Everything was planned out so perfectly, all David was thinking was how could it all get screwed up at the very end.

"It's over David. Stand down and hand over the map and I'll let you live" Jacob said.

"Oh... You don't scare me Jacob. I know that you'd never kill me in front of your friends" David said. "You're worried what they would think about you if they knew about all the people you've murdered... not just here but in England too, isn't that right?" He said with a smirk.

Jacob widened his eyes, shocked that just about anyone besides Ozpin knew the truth. "SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!" He shouted and went to shoot David. To his disappointment however, 2 cars sped straight in between them and David. And even worse, members of the Red Gorilla gang rolled down their windows and started firing like crazy. "Shit!" He, Weiss and Blake all ran off to take cover from the nonstop firing.

David himself was confused how they showed up, until one of the doors opened. "Get in!" One of the gang thugs yelled.

David looked up past the car, at Jacob and his team distracted at the moment. If he could, he could murder Jacob right now, but he has more important things to deal with "Son of a... This isn't over Jacob! You may still be breathing but I still have the map bitch!" He said as he got into the car to make his escape.

By the time They all realized that the shooting stopped, they heard tires screeching on the street then the cars drove off. Jacob got out of cover and ran towards the road. His attempts to catch up to the cars were futile due to the fact they already got too far away, even using his grapple gear wouldn't help in this situation. Jacob was panting, his hands on his knees as he looked down "Good god... He was playing both sides of this gang war? No wonder nobody ever suspected him" Jacob said. "He was the real threat all along..."

"Ok just what the HELL was that all about Jacob?" Weiss asked catching up to him. "Don't even think about lying your way out of this one. We want answers NOW"

Jacob looked back at her, having no clue what to even say about all this. The one thing Jacob never wanted to do was get his newfound friends mixed up in his business. Now with everything getting so heated, and Yang and Nora nearly getting, it's getting to the point he will have to say something to them. And speaking of Yang, she was just getting herself back together after having the wind knocked out of her. "Yang!" He ran over and helped her up with Tai Yang.

"Jacob?" She asked and rubbed her head. "You... David said you were dead" She said.

"Well he... He tried his hardest" He said. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm ok" She said. "Just... very confused"

"Yeah I'll bet. But David won't get away with this. I promise" He said back.

"Wait" Yang grabbed Jacobs hand. "Can we talk alone dad?" She asked Tai Yang who was still with them. He frowned, but agreed and walked way.

"What's wrong Yang?" Jacob asked.

"What do you think?" Yang asked. "In addition to this whole fight, David he... he said a lot of stuff about you and Evie. About weird stuff involving other worlds or whatever? Was what he saying... you know... true?" She asked.

'Oh fuck. It's happening... Sooner than I thought' Jacob thought. He sighed and looked down. "I think... I think it's best if we talk about this after I deal with-"

That earned him a slap in the face. "Dammit Jacob! You have been avoiding us for weeks! You go off on all these missions alone. You don't tell us anything that's going on. You won't even tell ME. I thought you and I had something special but... I don't even know who you are anymore" She said. What really got to Jacob was the look that Yang gave her. Usually he was used to Yang being hard and always smiling but at rare times even she can give a look of defeat and sorrow. He took a look back and saw Ruby, Blake, and Weiss looking at him too. Not giving such a distraught look like Yang was but it still hurt to see them looking at him with the way they looked at him

Jacob frowned and held her hands. "You're right... I have been keeping secrets. From you. From our team... Me and Evie have our own things going on but we didn't think any of you could ever get hurt. Or that you could get mixed up in this at all... But please... I need to finish this with David then I will explain everything with my sister when she returns" He said. "If you still trust me you'll let me do this"

The girls all looked at each other, unsure at this moment. Of course they trust Jacob with their lives but the recent events aren't helping whatsoever. On the other hand... 3 of the 4 also know just how much Jacob means to Yang. "Maybe we should listen to him. He's never let us down before" Blake said.

"Yeah... Plus he knows how pissed we'd get if he did" Ruby said.

"I'm pissed at him already!" Weiss said and punched his arm. "Buuuuuuuut... I'm sure if anybody can get a hold of David it'd be him" She said.

Jacob smiled at his teams approval while casually rubbing his arm. Or almost all of them. "Yang? Do you trust me?"

She frowned and crossed her arms. "I don't know anymore. I thought I... I loved you Jacob, but maybe I was wrong. I mean you clearly don't want to be with me, just other girls" Yang said.

Jacob was going to object to that, but then the girls laughed. "Oh Yang, you never took a look at this yet?" Ruby asked, and tossed her a notebook.

Jacob gasped, noticing it immediately. "Hey what the hell?! That's my notebook"

"Yeah THIS is a diary. Not that it's stupid to have one but it's fun reading all about how much he likes you" Ruby said.

Jacob frowned as Yang took a look in it. He crossed his arms. "It... Evie said it helps writing my thoughts on paper" Jacob said. "How did you even get that? I had it locked in my de... oh as if i need to ask" He said. He shares a room with 4 different girls who can easily break into their male teammates private stuff if ever needed... and by needed I mean to fuck with Jacob.

Yang continued to look through the book. Some paragraphs about her here and there. Some various drawings of her and Jacob, all looked pretty bad but the thought was still there. But the thing that stuck out to her was an entry made about a week ago. It was about how he broke things off with Coco, explaining that he wants to have a much more serious relationship with Yang. But only when things begin to calm down in Beacon and the spy issue is dealt with. "Wow... I... I never knew you felt this way too" She said and looked back up at him. "So when I asked you if you wanna be my boyfriend..."

"It wasn't because I didn't wish for us to be serious... I just needed to focus on other matters until then" Jacob said. The two smiled at each other, now feeling more free than before. They were snapped out of their daze when Weiss got their attention.

"Hey so happy that you two don't hate each other or whatever but DAVID IS STILL LONG GONE!" She yelled at them.

Jacob shook his head to get back together. "Right right..." He mumbled and took a moment to think of a plan. Thankfully it didn't take long. "Ok... You girls need to head back to Beacon. Tell Ozpin and Ironwood to send the Atlas Military into Forever Falls. He'll know exactly where I am" He said. "David is most likely leaving Vale but with Atlas all across the area he won't be dumb enough to leave by the air or by sea which means there's only one place he could hide before leaving entirely. A large White Fang camp in Forever Falls. It's the only place where he has help outside the city limits" Jacob said.

"Wait the White Fang?" Blake asked. "What would he be doing with them? He's human"

"Same thing Torchwick was doing. And I took care of him too" Jacob said. "Ok you all go back to Beacon. I'll see you all again when this is over" He said and walked away.

"Wait! What about David?" Yang asked.

Jacob stopped in his tracks and looked back at her. "... He dies" He said before walking away again. As he turned the corner of a street he was stopped again, this time by Tai Yang. "Oh great... Look I don't want any trouble" He said.

"No... I just want to talk" Tai Yang said. "Look to be honest when I first heard about you I never liked the idea of you with a team full of girls. 2 of which being my daughters" He said. No surprise to Jacob whatsoever. "But... After hearing you and the rest of the team talking its clear that they all do care about you. And you care about them too... not in a sexual way! Or at least not 3 of them..." He said and crossed his arms. "I'm sure whatever Yang sees in you is something good. And I trust her, no matter how much it hurts me" He said.

Jacob couldn't help but smile. He didn't say the words I approve to him but Jacob could clearly read between the lines. "Thank you Mr. Xiao Long" He said. "I do hope to see more of you in the future"

"Don't fucking push it boy" He said with a glare.

"Sorry sorry" Jacob said. "It's nice to know you approve but I really need to go" He said and started to leave. It was up to him and only him to kill David before he leaves Vale, AND retrieve the map along with him before that too is gone forever.

Mistral Airfield - 5:00PM

It was all coming in circle for Evie. This was where Nora nearly died in a bullhead and this is where Neo will die. Evie got herself in position on top of a docked airship as she overlooked the airfield. At first glance, she could see small security around the airfield, in this case it was most likely the thugs Lil Miss was talking about who are working for Neo, disguised as security guards to not raise any suspicion from the real guards. Old friends of Roman Torchwick perhaps? maybe Neo hired them or even blackmailed like she did with Lil Miss? Either way they will die if they get in the way of her main target who is hiding in there somewhere like a coward. No doubt the security is because Neo fount out Evie is still alive, so she's afraid... And she should be. Evie took out her scroll and called up the team.

"I'm in position and got a good view of airfield. Everybody at their posts?" Evie asked, and waited for their responses.

"Me and Nora are in position. Ready to attack them by surprise once you give the word" Ren said.

"Pyrrha and I made it inside the Airfield's command center. We're working on trying to hack into the systems computer but uh... we're not exactly hackers so fingers crossed" Jaune said.

"Everybody sit tight. Do NOT go loud unless alarms start to go off. Stay out of sight and wait for my go before following up on your separate jobs" Evie said. When that was done she hung up then got ready to focus her senses. Now for the favorite part of any hunt... opportunities.

Evies vision zoomed through the airfield, taking notes of the security lurking around all over. At first glance it looked as though there was no sure way to deal with them all, or at least most of them all at once. But Evie also took notice of what seemed to be a malfunctioning bullhead off to the side, as well as 2 guards talking near it.

"Jeez. This piece of shit looks like its ready to explode. Why don't they get rid of this thing?" One of them asked.

"The workers aren't coming until next week. Besides Neo is already paranoid enough, we don't need her freaking out on us over this... As if it's our fault it was poorly built" The other said. Just like that, a perfect opportunity to get the guards's attention focused on something else without causing them to think they are under attack.

STEALTH OPPORTUNITY: MALFUNCTIONING BULLHEAD

Next, her vision zoomed to another part of the airfield where 2 more guards were talking. "Neo wants an update on when her pilot will arrive" One of them said.

"What and I'm supposed to know? It should be in the command centers computer inside. Just type in Argus and look for whoever is supposed to be flying the bullhead she's in" The other said. "I mean jeez what's with this crazy chick? What's the rush?"

"No idea but she's really taking no chances. Hell, she practically locked herself inside of the bullhead over there and will only open for the pilot. Whatever has her of all people so spooked must be something real bad" He said. And again, another important clue she's picked up on, as if this couldn't be easy enough for her. Find the pilot, and the rest falls into place.

UNIQUE KILL OPPORTUNITY: PILOT

Finally her vision zoomed over to the bullhead that was locked tight from inside. She saw Neo was definitely inside and she was NOT going to let anything bad happen to her... unfortunately for her she made the grave mistake of pissing off Evie Frye. As if trying to get a rise out of Jacob wasn't bad enough.

Once she had everything she needed, she got off of the airship she airship she was on and went to make a quick call to Jaune and Pyrrha. "Jaune, you got a visitor coming your way at any moment... also the password is Argus. That should help" She said.

She waited for a few seconds in silence for a response, then got said response. "How did you manage to figure that out so fast!?" He asked, clearly she assumed that it was correct.

"Oh I have my ways... But seriously, focus. Someone will definitely show up soon" Evie said.

"Wait, before you go, what exactly should we be looking for?" Jaune asked.

"I need you guys to find anything involving a pilot who's in charge of bullhead number X-J-9. That's who's flying Neo out of here" Evie said. "Ok gotta go. I'll see you at the command center" She said then hung up. Now that that was out of the way, the hard part of these missions has begun... what to do first?

Forever Falls - 5:10PM

Jacob remembered the White Fang camp exactly where it was located on the map he was given. He always had a suspicion he will have to storm this place one day and that was today, only he wished he could do it with his sister, or preferably Yang if he could choose who to take... Though if he could REALLY choose, he'd love to have a few of those killer robots Atlas has, but a buffer one that doesn't break down so easily. But enough of that for another time. Right now he climbed up a tree to get a good view of the camp without being seen. Here he had a good opportunity to... well find opportunities to exploit.

His vision zoomed down into the camp, and first came across a makeshift jail cell where there was a woman, dressed in an elite Atlesian uniform, was thrown into said cell and tied up. "Captain, we found this one lurking around the camp. She must be a scout" One of the Faunus said.

The captain crossed his arms, smirking at the woman. "Ah even better... This is a Schnee" He said and locked the cell door, then put the key away in his pocket. "Don't let this one get away boys! Adam will love to hear about this" He said as he walked away. Jacob was in fact a bit shocked at first. He knew that the Atlas Military had been doing their own surveillance on this encampment since they got that information from Tuscon but knew it would complicate things with one inside of the camp itself. And he knew Weiss had a sister but wasn't planning to meet her. Not under these circumstances of course. He will definitely need to help her out.

ASSISTANCE OPPORTUNITY: Winter Schnee

His vision followed the same captain as he walked over to one of the recruits. It was actually someone Jacob seemed to remember from the White Fang meeting he went to, Deery her name is, or at least that's what they call her. For obvious reasons, deer antlers on her head. She was sitting on the ground hugging her knees and clearly very nervous and scared. "Hey! Get your shit together kid! You're one of us now so act like it!" The captain said and slapped her in the back of the head.

She let out a yelp then a frown as she slowly got back on her feet. As he left, she muttered to herself. "What was I thinking... Joining these monsters..." She said. An unsure White Fang recruit who wants out? This can be useful to Jacobs advantage, IF done properly.

UNIQUE KILL OPPORTUNITY: Deery

His vision zoomed again to the main event. David was in fact here, inside the big tent at the back of the camp. Currently he was speaking to a Faunus inside. But this was no ordinary Faunus... This was Alex Taurus. Adam Taurus's younger brother and leader of the Red Gorillas in Vale. Seeing it with Jacobs own two eyes... sorta... it was much more clear how David would be in with the Red Gorillas and the White Fang.

"Thanks for the rescue Alex" David said.

"You can thank me by more of the city than one district" Alex said.

"Don't be greedy... And we talked about this. Once I get back to my base with this-" David rolled out the map on the table for Alex to observe. "I will be rewarded handsomely, and so will you if you to keep up the valuable work you and Adam do for us" David said.

Alex raised a brow and was about to scold him but then took was distracted by the map. "The fuck? What's so special about this thing? There's no markings on it"

"That's the point. There's more than you understand about what this map is, and why Roman was murdered for it. The problem is that only a certain amount of people can read the location marked on this map. A dying race of humans they mentioned"

"What people?" Alex asked.

"No clue. I was never told who exactly they are... But I'm certain when I get this back to my boss, I'll be told everything" He said.

---

"That will never happen David" Jacob said as he finished up his focus power. He dived out of the tree and leap-of-faithed into a pile of red leaves that were conveniently in the inside of the camps walls. falling in the leaves however made a loud noise that got the attention of 2 off duty soldiers who were nearby playing cards.

"Did you hear that?" One asked.

"Hear what?" The other asked.

"There's something in the leaves. I know it" He said and got up, heading towards the leaf pile.

The other guy was groaning, still looking at his cards not caring much about what was going on. "Sit back down idiot. We're playing a game and I got a hundred bucks riding on it"

"Shut up! I'm serious" He said as he poked the pile with his foot a few times. Suddenly he yelped as a squirrel ran out of the leaves.

The soldier sitting down laughed as he also noticed it. "Oh wow. There's your dangerous threat" He said, then looked back down at the cards. "Get back over here already. You're not weaseling your way out of this card game" He then heard a thud on the ground and when he looked back up, his friend was on the ground, and his throat slit. He gasped and got out of his seat. "Oh shit... shit shit shit!" He said as he was looking for his walkie talkie. Just as he pulled it out, Jacob got out of the leaves and threw a throwing knife at the guys chest. He gasped for air as he ended up dropping his walkie talkie, and was about to tip over and tie but Jacob quickly caught him from falling. Jacob dragged his dead body and the other dead body into the leaf pile in order to hide them. One problem down... several more to go.

Back with Evie

Evie made her way over to Ren and Nora, who were on the other side of the airfield and hiding behind another bullhead. "Evie there you are. Ready to move in?" Ren asked her.

"Change of plans... Nora I need an explosive" Evie said. "I found a broken bullhead that if something were to happen to it, the guards will freak out and try to deal with it" She said.

"Awe seriously? I was promised to blow shit up and you're taking that from me?!" Nora whined.

"Yup" Evie simply said. "I'll be sure to video tape the explosion for you if you if it goes well"

"Oh... Ok!" Nora said, she tossed Evie one of her grenades and Evie quickly caught it.

Evie nodded and was about to leave, but then noticed a dark red mark on Rens neck. "Ren what uh... what's that on your neck?" She asked.

Ren casually lifted his collar up to cover up his neck. "What's what?" Ren asked.

Evie raised a brow, since she obviously knew what it was. So she just chuckled and rolled her eyes. "Just make sure you two are ready when the time comes you two" Evie said before leaving their position.

When she did leave, Ren glared at Nora. "You said it wasn't noticeable!" Ren yell whispered to her.

Nora's response was just to giggle. "I lied" She said with a shrug

Evie made her way over to the broken bullhead. She used her invisibility Semblance to sneak past the 2 guards who were by the said bullhead. While she still was invisible, she slowly placed the grenade into one of the Bullhead wing turbines. When it goes off, the turbine should mask the pink dust and cause it to start a fire. The last thing these guys want is to piss off Neo so this should most definitely work. When it was all set up, She got a good distance away before she shot a bullet directly at the grenade. The grenade blew up and of course caused the turbine to burst up into flames. Those two guards looked back and gasped seeing the bullhead, thinking it was a spontaneous combustion.

"Oh Shit! Hurry before the whole thing explodes!" He said.

The other got his walkie talkie out. "We got an issue on the east side! Need help now!"

"How could this even happen?!" He asked, having no clue what they should even do.

"Ugh! Shitty Mistral engineering" The other said.

Evie was successful in her distraction once she saw more guards rushing over to them, trying to get the bullhead under control but to no avail. Now what was next to see if Jaune and Pyrrha found anything important. If not... She'll just need to improvise.

Back to Jacob

There was a White Fang soldier who was poking Winter with a stick. "Hey! I'll give you a treat if you do a trick for me bitch" He said.

Winter glared at him. "How do you expect me to do anything while i'm tied up?" She asked him

"Ugh I don't fucking know! Find a way you lazy bi-" Suddenly he was cut off by Jacob, who was behind him and had one arm wrapped around his mouth, then another one wrapped around his shoulders. The soldier was confused as hell and struggling to get free. Jacob got a good grip on him before snapping his neck. As the whole time that Jacob dragged the guy away to hide the body, Winter was confused as hell as who this mystery guy is. Definitely not Atlas. A Huntsman perhaps? Anything is better than the White Fang at this point for her.

When Jacob returned to the cage, he removed his hood. "Winter Schnee?" He asked. "I'm Jacob Frye... I'm teammates with your sister Weiss up in Beacon"

And to Winters disappointment, it wasn't even an actual Huntsman. "A student? The hell are you doing here?"

"I'm here to kill someone. Long story. I'm sure you understand" He said. "If I get you free will you help me? I mean I'll free you either way but I'd appreciate the help"

She sighed, not wanting to owe someone she hardly knows a favor, but given the circumstances who is she to refuse the help. "Of course" Winter said. "You said you're in Weiss's team? Hey are you that extra she's talked about?"

"Also a long story" Jacob said. "I'll find the key. That captain couldn't have gotten far so you just... don't wonder off"

"Oh real cute" Winter said as Jacob left. He dashed from hiding spot, to hiding spot, as he searched around for wherever that captain went. That's when he saw him at the camps entrance, escorting Alex out.

"I have some things to take care of back in Vale. The Swarm could attack and I need our gang supplied with better weaponry before they try to take back the Industrial District. Now that Frye is no longer in the picture we can start up real business and get back to normal" Alex said.

"Best of luck to you sir. I'll be sure to tell Adam you said hello when he returns"

"Keep up the good work captain. Loyalty to the White Fang will be rewarded greatly. Especially once Sienna Khan is uh... No longer in the picture either " Alex said. Alex then left as the camp, which was a bit of a disappointment for Jacob sinse he was hoping he could deal with him too while he had the chance. But that'll be for another day.

The captain walked back into the camp. He got all excited at the compliment he was just given that he didn't even notice Jacob until it was too late. Jacob rushed over to the captain and shoved him onto the ground. He raised his blade up in the air then slammed it down really hard into the captains chest. "Hope your loyalty to terrorism was worth it" Jacob whispered as he gurgled up blood for a bit before dying. When he did finally die, Jacob also checked his pockets for the key, and in addition found a dagger. "Hm... Winter can use this" He said then went to hide the captains body as well. He arrived back to the cage and, at first unlocked it, but did not open it.

"What the hell? Open the door" Winter said.

"Not yet. I need to deal with the man in that tent over there first and he cannot escape again" Jacob said. "Here. When I give you the cue use this to cut yourself free and attack" He said and dropped the dagger into her cage.

Winter took hold of said dagger with her tied up hands, then hid it into her sleeve so that nobody would be able to see it on her. "Thanks for this... I never thought I'd ever be rescued by a Huntsman in training before" She said.

"Oh don't consider me as a Huntsman in training. Consider me as... an assassin. Because I'm here to assassinate someone" Jacob said with a smile.

"Alright then... assassin" Winter said. "I'll wait on your go"

Jacob gave her a nod, then sneaked away again. With his escape now planned, now was time for him to plan his infiltration. That's when he found Deery on her own thankfully. He made his way around the various small tents, until he got to where Deery was, which was in between of two tents. She was just alone mumbling to herself so if Jacob was going to talk to her this was the best time.

"What am I gonna do... I can't just run away like they say that girl Blake did. Maybe I can-" Deery let out a yelp as she was pulled back behind the tents.

Jacob had her on the ground, and he had a hand over her mouth. "I'm not going to hurt you. I only wish to talk" Jacob whispered. "Now I'm going to release you but do NOT try to scream. Understand?"

Deery, who was obviously freaked out first, and for good reason, slowly began to calm down. When her breathing went from fast to normal again, she looked at Jacob and nodded her head yes. When Jacob let go she spoke up. "Y-You're Jacob Frye right? You're all they talk about around here" She whispered back. "P-Please! I only joined them at first because I wanted to help end Faunus oppression. But they've gotten worse. Much worse... And that captain... If he ever found out that I wanna leave he'd have me shot without a moments noti-"

"Oh don't worry about the captain. He won't be bothering you any time soon" Jacob told her. "And I heard you talking to yourself"

"Oh..." Deery said. She was helped back onto her feet by Jacob, but they still hid behind the tent. "W-What do you want with me?"

"You know David Kule? The guy in the big tent over there?" Jacob asked and pointed further in the camp. "I need to get to him and take him down. If you were to, say... walk me in there as a captured prisoner, he'd probably take the bait and I'll get the chance to kill him. You help me, and I'll get you out of here and you'll never be bothered by the White Fang again. In addition I'll make sure that you aren't arrested once this is over either"

"You'd do all that for me?" Deery asked.

"Of course. I can clearly see you hate it here... Who wouldn't these people are crazy" Jacob said. "I mean don't get me wrong, clearly humans have treated Faunus awfully for years. But this isn't the way to get justice. People are listening but for the wrong reasons" He said. "But enough of that... I need you to bring me into that tent" Jacob reached down and picked up Deery's weapon, then handed it to her. "And make sure it looks realistic"

Deery gave him a nod, then as he got into position with his hands behind his back as if it was tied, Deery aimed her weapon at him. "You uh... You sure this'll work?"

"Nope... Lets do this"

Back to Evie

Evie climbed up the wall of the command center. Now that most of the guards were busy trying to handle the bullhead, Evie took her focus on the next step of her plan, and that involved meeting up with Jaune and Pyrrha. At that same moment Evie got a tad lost in thought thinking of two of her most favorite people in the world. As if love wasn't hard enough for her with one person, she believes that she is in love with two.

Pyrrha... Evie understands Pyrrha, and her life as a talented celebrity. Not to Pyrrhas extent of course, but her work in London as a gang leader has given her a reputation that she never truly expected, or ultimately wanted to begin with. It was why she insisted Jacob not to create a gang in the first place. Not because she thought it was dumb, but because she didn't want any so much attention brought to her, unlike her twin brother who adores attention. Evie can't help but respect Pyrrhas way of handling it all. And not letting any of it affect her real friends, and her... more than friends.

And Jaune... Evie remembers when she was once an Assassin beginner. So full of hope and full of potential. All he needs is the right help to make that potential blossom. Evie was that exact same way when she began her training. Losing her grip from climbing with zero support, bad fighting skills in combat training, unable to keep up physically with the other trainees physically... hell, there were some times where she tries to perform leap-of-faiths and somehow manages to miss the hay bales completely and break a few bones. But, as time went on her skills were harnessed through hard work and never quitting. She sees that exact same amount of skill in him, and all he needs to do is keep working at it and soon everyone will see it too. She just admires that about him... And other things.

But how could Evie be with 2 different people? Not only that, but how is she gonna tell any of them about how she will eventually need to leave and never return? Evie would never want to break either of their hearts but... god love sure is hard.

She got to the office window and knocked on the window, to get Jaune and Pyrrha's attention. Pyrrha noticed her and ran to the window to open it, then helped pull Evie inside. "Good to see you... What's going on outside?"

"One of the bullhead turbines are going crazy, a perfect distraction for me" Evie said. "hey did you guys deal with the guard?"

"Sure did. Jaune put the guy in a choke-hold" She said and motion her head over to Jaune at the door.

He looked back at them and gave them a nod. "He's stuffed in that cabinet over there" He said and pointed over to the side wall.

Evie gave him a smile back. "Nice one Jaune. knocking someone out like that isn't easy" She pat his back. "Ok so did you guys find anything on the computers? Neo's bullhead could take off at any moment"

"I think I found the pilot in charge of that bullhead" Pyrrha said and walked back to the computer. She turned the screen to show Evie the ID of a Mistral Airship employee. "This guy is scheduled to fly bullhead X-J-9 and takeoff at exactly 5:30"

Jaune took a look at his scroll. "It's 5:25 right now. If you leave now you should be able to catch up to him" Jaune said.

"Good call" Evie said. "Alright I'll be off now. You guys should get out of here and meet up with Nora and Ren" She said.

"Good luck" Jaune said.

"Don't die" Pyrrha said. Evie gave her a smile before giving her a kiss goodbye, then left through the window again, heading straight for the roof. Pyrrha blushed from the kiss and she was lost in her own imagination for a few short seconds, but then she remembered she wasn't alone

"Uh... something I should know between you two?" Jaune asked with his eyebrow raised.

Pyrrhas blushing went from excitement to embarrassment. "Uuuuhhhhmmmmmm... Maybe we should all talk when this is over" She said to him.

Evie got to the roof and searched around for the pilot from the computer file. Now that she knew what he looked like, she could use Eagle Vision to search for him quicker. After a bit of looking through the airfield, she found her golden target, on his way to Neo's bullhead. "There you are" Evie said. She shot her grapple hook out to connect to the wing of a lamp post that was on the other end of the airfield, so that nobody would see the cable wire above them. Then Evie connected the other end to the roof she was on and zip lined her way downwards on the cable. She had the cable positioned where the pilot would have to walk right underneath the cable to get to his destination. And once Evie was above him, she released herself from her grapple cable and landed on the ground right behind the pilot. Before the pilot could turn around, Evie grabbed hold of him, pinning his own arm to his back. "Don't scream" Evie said, with her hidden blade millimetres away from his throat.

The pilot was currently in a state of panic. "W-What the hell?! Don't kill me!" He pleaded with her, trying to get free but to no avail with her firm grip on him.

"Quiet!" Evie whispered. "I'm not going to kill you... All you need from you is walk to that bullhead up ahead and get the woman inside to open the door"

"W-Wh-What? W-Why?" He asked.

"I have business with her and she isn't getting away" Evie said. "Just get that door open then move out the way" She told him. The two walked together up to Neo's bullhead. There was supposed to be some guards by the bullhead but they were still working on dealing with the other bullhead issue at the moment so the coast was clear for Evie to go in. That's when she let the pilot go free then hid away from the bullhead doors as he nervously walked up to the door.

He knocked on it. "M-M.s Neo? It's me... your pilot" He said.

Evie waited for a response, but Neo didn't say anything. She checked inside with her eagle vision, but instead to her surprise the bullhead was empty. Definitely not what Evie was expecting due to the fact that she was supposedly in hiding and eager to get out of Mistral. "What the hell?" Evie whispered to herself and pushed the pilot to the side in order to pull the bullhead side door open. Using her regular vision she could clearly see the bullhead was empty. "What... no this isn't right. Where did she run off to?" Evie asked again as she looked around frantically. She pulled out her scroll ready to call the others to update them. But before she could, she heard something that she also didn't expect.

Evie slowly turned around to see the pilot, who a few seconds ago was terrified and nearly pissing himself, was now chuckling as he walked over to the bullhead doors. "I was told a lot about you and your brother... so much that setting an even more elaborate trap to get you alone seemed almost impossible" The pilot then suddenly started to glow and transform back into she short pink and brown haired girl Evie came to kill. "Yet you fell right into it"

Evie widened her eyes in shock. She didn't anticipate Neo to pretend to act paranoid and afraid to face Evie again or even leave her safe spot, ironically making her smarter than any Templar target shes had to face. She wasn't sure if she should be worried or somewhat proud in this very moment, but one thing she was definitely feeling was pissed off. "Neo..." She said as her eyes of shock turned into a glare while saying her name. The two glared down and narrowed onto each other, staring each other down while also waiting for the other to try to make a move. Evie acted fast and quickly pulled out her pistol ready to engage. Neo acted on her feet at the same moment and rushed to the side to avoid the gunshots. Evie ran out of the bullhead to keep shooting at her but she had already made her way around the bullhead. She looked back and forth from the front and the back of the bullhead, wondering where she will come out of to attack back. At that same moment she was nearly hit by a few bullets that came very close to hitting her but hit the metal of the bullhead behind her. Where those bullets came from was from Neo's private security who was making their way towards her the moment they heard Evie unload her clip. "Shit!" Evie quickly ran back inside of the bullhead for protection and cover. She pulled her scroll back out to call her friends. "Guys the surprise attack failed and her security are onto me!"

"Oh shit really? What about Neo?" Jaune asked.

"I can handle her but I need you guys to take care of the security" Evie said. "Doesn't matter how you do it, as long as they aren't shooting at me"

"On it!" Nora said on the call before hanging up, soon every other teammate hung up as well and so did Evie.

Evie had to wait a bit longer still blocking bullets coming her way before finally the bullets stopped, and the gunshots were soon replaced with explosions. Evie took a look out the doors to see Noras pink grenades being shot around the crowd of bad guys. Afterwards Evie could then see Jaune, Pyrrha, and Ren rushing in to attack during the confusion and disorientation. "Perfect" Evie said. She went to the other side of the bullhead and pull the other side doors open and quickly jumped out hoping to get the drop on Neo. Only to find out however that she wasn't on that side either. She looked around back and forth again wondering where she could be hiding, when at that same moment she realized exactly where she was. Evie quickly rolled to the side to avoid Neo, who was waiting for her up on the roof of the bullhead to jump down on her but failed. Neo pulled out her parasol and pulled the blade out of the end of it. Evie did the same as she pulled her cane out and pulled the sword out of it. "Your not getting away this time Neo"

"Funny. I was going to say the same thing" Neo said and charged at Evie. Evie charged back and the two clashed their blades together, both had similar fighting styles when they were both equipped with their respected weapons. Very different from Neo blindsiding the young assassin in the middle of town when she had nothing to fight back. The two were doing everything in their power and ability to beat the other but both countered each attack perfectly so it was impossible for wither to land a hit on each other. Evie tried a different maneuver to get the advantage so she headbutted Neo then pushed Neo back with her foot. She then quickly picked up a voltaic grenade in order to stun her enough to get a hit on her. she threw the bomb hoping to get it to explode on her, but Neo was too clever for that, and instead she ducked at the last second, causing the grenade to go into the bullhead behind her and making it fly into the cockpit instead and going off in the middle of the cockpit.

"Ha! nice try-" She grunted as Evie rushed her and tackled her into the bullhead. Evie got on top of her and punched her a few times in the face then retracted her wrist blade, trying to slam it down on top of her. But Neo wasn't allowing it and had to use both hands to push her gauntlet back to get the blade away from her.

Just when Evie thought nothing could stop her finishing her off there always has to be something when you least expect it. Thanks to the fact that the bullhead mostly runs on electricity, the voltaic grenade caused the bullheads systems to malfunction and start up on its own, specifically the jet thrusters that were pushing the bullhead around while it was still on the ground. The sudden acceleration caused Evie to lose her balance and fall off of her. The two were trying to get up and lose their balance inside the bullhead that was spinning around on the runway and picking up speed. It was going too quick for either to try and jump off the bullhead. Not without getting crushed. But that didn't stop either of them from continuing to fight it out when they were able to get their balance in place enough to murder the other.

The bullhead would continue to spin around uncontrollably, and swerve around the runway making a few donuts on said runway, until the bullhead was getting closer and closer to the edge of the runway, where at the edge was a cliff that would drop them off the mountain they were on. The bullhead ended up going over the edge, causing the two to lose balance as the bullhead was now spinning around in the sky making it an even worse situation. Both could see out the doors and process that they were spinning out of control in the air now, a perfect opportunity for one of them to ditch the bullhead and let the other die.

To Evies disappointment, Neo was the one as she took the opportunity and kicked Evie in the gut to knock her back towards the cockpit. "I'd love to stick my blade into your chest myself Evie, but watching you crash into the side of the mountain and explode will be much more enjoyable" She said while laughing maniacally as she made her way to the door.

Evie held her gut groaning as she saw Neo get to the bullhead and pull her parasol out. She gasped as she re-focused on her about to escape the bullhead and run for the edge as well. Neo pulled her umbrella part out of the parasol and then jumped out of the bullhead with it. Evie immediately jumped out as well and grabbed onto Neo's body to escape the bullhead before it crashed into the mountain and exploded. The explosion and flames rose upwards for the heat to push both of them further up into the air, which was about 30 feet over the runway. Neo was trying to punch and kick Evie off of her to make her fall to the ground but Evie wasn't having it. In fact she was pushing through the attacks as she made her way up to grab the parasol as well. "It's over you bitch! You and your brother are dead no matter what happens today, but I wont stop until your dead!"

"Then I guess this is the end!" Evie shouted and retracted her wrist blade in her other arm to slice open Neos wrist on the arm that was holding onto the parasol handle. Neo screamed out in pain, and ended up letting go of the handle and as she was falling. She grabbed hold of Evis leg to prevent herself from falling. "Oh no you don't!" Evie shouted and swung her leg around to until Neo managed to lose her grip and end up falling down the sky again. Evie looked down watching Neo scream some more as she fell about a few dozen feet and slam onto the ground of the runway. Finally she was defeated, but Evie had to confirm the kill like she always does. She let go of the parasol and fell to the ground as well but unlike Neo who hit the ground and broke her body. Evie landed on top of her to cushion the fall before slamming her blade into Neos chest. Now it was finally over... She won.

Confession

Evie looked down at Neo holding her chest in pain. "I have never once killed anybody for personal reasons Neo. Even taking out my fathers killer was a strategic move more than out of revenge... but after what you did to Nora? I wish I could kill you a second time just to get all my rage out" Evie said.

"And after what your brother did to Roman, I would've killed your entire team just to get to you. And make Jacob suffer like I have" Neo said.

Evie scoffed. "Roman... what a fucking degenerate. He got what he deserved, and so did you!" Evie said.

"Don't you dare talk bad about him! He was a great man and everything was great for us before you showed up" Neo said.

"Roman was another criminal in this city who just lies cheats and murders anybody in his way!" Evie said. "You're a smart girl. Why would you ever be with him?

Neo scoffed and laughed hysterically. "Why? Why would I be with him?" She asked. "You know NOTHING about me! I was an orphan for most of my life but then Roman took me in. Raised me before he rose to power in Vale... I'm well aware that Roman is a bad person, because I've been by his side since the beginning. And he had my back when nobody else in life did. And I was willing to be by his side through it all... If he saved your life when nobody else gave a shit about you, abandoned you, and treated you like trash, would you not do the same like me?"

Evie sighed and closed her eyes shaking her head. "I wouldn't know how to answer that... all I know right now is that I have limits Neo. Unlike you" Evie said.

"Oh is that so? What a shame... I thought a girl born in a family of ASSASSINS would understand morality and family aren't so different"

Evie widened her eyes while Neo just gave out a weak chuckle. "You know about... I thought Salem..." Evie shook her. "Who knows? Who the fuck else knows?!"

"Salem... she told us... we all... know..." Neo said, as she began to bleed out at this point and give out a few last dying breaths before finally dying.

Evie looked down at her lifeless body. At this moment a lot of stuff was going through her head after all she said. But obviously what freaked her out the most was that all of Salem's inner circle knew the truth about her and Jacob. She was fully aware that Salem knew, but she never could've guessed that all of Salem's allies now knew. "At this rate, my secret won't stay so secret forever... Perhaps I should talk to my team about this. Before they get blindsided again" She said to herself. After that she got up from Neo.

---

When Evie started to become aware of her surroundings again, she could see that team JNPR had all managed to apprehend all of the security. Nora and Ren were having them walk in a line down the runway. "Move it every one. You're boss is defeated and there's no reason to die with her" Ren said.

"You heard the man!" Nora said while clocking her grenade launcher. "I got more explosives and I'm not afraid to use them!"

Evie walked over to meet up with her friends, which Pyrrha and Jaune did the same and walked toward Evie. "Oh god you're ok!" Jaune said and hugged Evie. "We were so worried when we saw the bullhead go off the cliff. We thought you were dead"

Evie scoffed then laughed a bit. "Oh come now Jaune. Neo surely is dangerous but nothing I couldn't handle. But it's all over now" She said.

"What do we do with these guys though?" Pyrrha asked.

Evie looked over at the security guards. "They were helping Neo escape. The cops can deal with them... the ones still alive at least" Evie said. "Hopefully this will be cleared up and We'll be back in Beacon by tonight. And when we get back... I think there's some things I should discus with you all"

"I was thinking the same thing" Pyrrha said and looked at Jaune. "Jaune... Me and Evie have started to grow feelings for each other since we has sex and we-"

"U-Uhh wow hold on!" Evie said blushing. "N-Not that Pyrrha. Though that is something I'd like to discus to both of you in private... But no, there's something else we need to discuss. It involves why Neo wanted me dead, and the truth about me and my brother. And it's important we discuss this before you find out about it in the future before you're all blindsided"

"Oh..." Pyrrha said and cleared her throat. "Uuuuhhhhhh good idea" She said and awkwardly nodded her head.

"Uh ok" Jaune said a bit awkward as well and laughed a bit nervously.

Evie laughed nervously too as she got more embarrassed with them. Evie can fight Elitists, Templars, thugs, demonic animals and even psychotic ice cream themed villains all she wants, but the most dangerous task she may ever had to face in her life would have to be her love life. But the main thing she has to worry about now is how will they react when Evie tells them the truth about her.

With Jacob

Jacob was lead through the camp with Deery holding a gun to him. He got the idea from Evie after he heard how she managed to sneak into one of England's most fortified castles by pretending to be a prisoner. A simple plan but extremely effective. And Jacob knew this because all the White Fang soldier noticed him but didn't even get suspicious. In fact they were just laughing at Jacob and cheering for Deery. Why would Jacob trust some random chick to hold a gun onto him who is also his enemy? Jacob could tell she hated the White Fang. Extremism isn't for everyone, even though he understands why some would dive into such stuff. But Deery is smarter than that and Jacob can clearly tell that from her.

"You sure about this?" Deery whispered to him.

"Of course" He whispered back. "Look, nobody is suspecting a thing and that's exactly what we want. All YOU need to do is lead me into the camp and I'll handle the rest... Oh also you should get to cover because when I blow my cover all hell is about to break lose" He whispered.

"You have a lot of guts to do this... I-I wish I had your confidence" Deery said.

"Oh come now. You have confidence. Look at what you're doing" Jacob said back.

She smiled a bit at that. "W-Well... I guess that's true" Deery said. "Oh we're here" She said as they both got to the entrance.

"Damn Deery! You caught Jacob Frye?" One of the guards in the front said.

She got nervous at first, not worrying what to say. Jacob gave her a nudge with his hand that the soldiers couldn't see, and she quickly cleared her throat. "Uhm... O-Of course! I found this guy snooping around in the bushes... I thought David would wanna see him?"

"Well I'm sure he'll appreciate the gift. Bring him in" The guard said as the two moved to the side.

Deery pushed Jacob to move, but since Jacob was twice her size he obviously had to fake it for it to look real. The two went inside where Jacob saw David inside, along with two more White Fang soldiers inside. "David?" Deery asked.

"What?" David looked up from his papers and widened his eyes seeing the beautiful sight of Jacob. "Well would you look at this... Jacob Frye. Come to kill me?" David asked and got up from the chair. "Did you think you could waltz in here and sneak into a heavily guarded camp full of murderous animals? ... Er, no offense" He said to the soldiers, who were between him and Jacob.

"Oh none taken. Especially with this asshole" One of them said and glared at me.

"Yaaawwwwn!" Jacob said and stuck his tongue out.

David chuckled and rolled his eyes. "I was right about you Jacob. Determined to the end and not a quitter... Such a shame you're going to die here. And this time I'll make sure you are 100% dead" David said. "Thank you Deery we'll handle it from here. Boys, drag him outside so everyone can watch me chop his head off"

"Oh with pleasure" They both said and walked up to Jacob with evil smirks.

Deery backed away and the moment they put their hands on Jacob, Jacob charged up his right leg with enough Aura from his semblance to stomp on the soldier on the rights leg to break it. During his shouting, Jacob stabbed the one on the left with his gauntlet blade straight into the neck. Then Jacob quickly spun around to slash the other soldiers neck, who was kneeling on the ground. It all happened so fast that They practically never saw it coming before it was too late, especially for David. Jacob sprinted towards David, and this time Jacob was ready for Davids teleportation semblance. David made his machete appear into his hand and went to slash down on Jacob, but Jacob countered it by grabbing hold of the machete with his gauntlet. With a fist also fully charged up with Aura, he punched Davids arm so hard below the elbow to break his arm by bending it the other way. David also screamed out in tremendous pain before Jacob silenced him with a blade into the throat. David gagged and choked on his own blood as Jacob slowly lowered him to the ground.

Confession

Jacob looked down at David, the spy, the betrayer, the manipulator... the man who was once a friend. "I know that Salem found out about us... How long have you known about me?" Jacob asked.

"About the same time Salem found out actually... I was there when she started digging into you and Evie. And she traced you back to your own world" David said. "I must admit I was quite surprised. When she was telling us about Earth an how humanities greed for power was the human and Isu's downfall in the end, it wasn't that surprising... or different from Remnants story for that matter"

"Is that how you see it?" Jacob asked him. "You would rather be a blind idiot following the orders of a woman who created a whole new world just so she can enslave its people and kill off the rest who fight back? We've dealt with crazy people like you for a very long time. You're right when you say you're no different in this world if that's your response"

"It's what we were MADE for. I'm willing to accept my role and prove Salem my loyalty to her. Prove that I have the power to be something bigger in order to lead in a civilization who wasn't made to be independent" He said.

"Loyal and determined to the end right? I could respect that if it wasn't for the fact that you chose to side with people who wish to watch the world be destroyed and enslave the ones still alive" Jacob said. "I trusted you David. I brought you into my life and I thought we could be partners... And in the end you used me. You were just getting close to take the map from me. I wish I could say this wasn't personal but you had this coming when you lied to me about everything... then tried to KILL me!"

David let out a groan. "I told you. I didn't lie about everything... I really did offer you and Evie a chance to join our ranks and prevent getting mixed into a terrible tragedy that is to come with or without Gods Relic" He said. "That's right... I knew all about that urban myth crap all along. And we've been after that thing for a while. Salem was unable to find it because she was never in charge of the Piece of Eden project, but thanks to the team she's built up, we are so close... or WERE so close until you fucked it all up" David said. "But this map is the least of your concern Jacob... You think you will walk away from this? You think it's over because I'm gone? You think you'll be safe in Beacon now that me and Arthur are dead? When they find out I'm dead my mother will hunt you down. That isn't a mild threat or a trick to scare you... She. WILL. Kill you..."

Jacob narrowed his eye, and slowly leaned down to him. "I hope the bitch tries. Just so I know who's next to kill" He whispered to him. Jacob then got back up as David weakly chuckled to himself.

"Oh Jacob... If I knew you'd be such a problem, I'd have let you get killed in that alley and not save your ungrateful ass... and now... you're gonna get Yang killed..." David said as he was losing his breath before finally laying his head down dead. Jacob just looked down at him once he stopped talking. No witty comebacks or sarcastic remarks. He just walked away from a man he thought he knew very well.

Soldiers ran into the tent as they heard the shouting from inside, and gasped seeing the 2 soldiers and David dead, as well as Jacob on top of David. "Oh shit he's free! Get in here guys!" One of them shouted.

The alarm in the camp went off. The soldiers ran towards the tent, weapons in hand. Jacob chuckled as he got his brass knuckles in his fist. "You really don't wanna do this... WINTER NOW!" Jacob shouted. Winter quickly cut her ropes free and then kicked the cell door open. A soldier looked back and saw Winter had escaped.

"Hey what the hell do you think you-" He was cut off as Winter threw the dagger into his head. Now unfortunately Winter had no weapons to use against them. Jacob looked around and saw Winters sword on Davids desk. He kicked Davids desk up in the air in order to get the sword to fly up, then he flipped in the air to kick the sword toward Winter.

Winter jumped off of another White Fang soldier coming towards her in order to catch the sword. When she landed back on her feet she pulled out the second blade that was inside of her sword. more soldiers ran towards her and aimed their guns at them. Just as they started shooting Winter formed a glyph in front of her that acted as a shield from the bullets. She then stabbed her second blade into the ground to form a second glyph behind the several soldiers. Using her special Schnee semblance ability, she ended up summoning a white Beringel, or better known as a gorilla grimm. The Beringel attacked the soldiers and wasted no time murdering and tearing through them.

Jacob couldn't help but watch impressed as she had a soldier in a headlock and punching him over and over with his free hand. "Holy shit! how did you do that?" He asked.

"It's part of my semblance. And it's part of my heritage" Winter said.

"That's a neat trick" He said then kneed the headlocked guy hard to knock him on the ground. "All I can do is this" He charged up his fists with his aura in order to deliver a devastating uppercut to the next soldier running towards him. The guy flew up in the air like 20 feet before falling back down on the ground, breaking his neck and killing him. "Which, I mean, works for me in fights but I'd love to summon animals to help me too"

The two meet up and got back to back as more showed up and surrounded the two. Winter quickly made multiple glyphs around her and Jacob as they began firing again. "Oh boy. I hope you didn't come alone Jacob" Winter said as she had to use both her hands in order to keep multiple glyphs

"Of course not. And hopefully they should be here. Any minute now..." Jaune said. The soldiers kept on firing on the glyphs, weakening the glyphs more and more. They were going to disappear pretty soon then they may really will be screwed. But thanks to that perfect timing they were saved as always.

The Atlas Military arrived. Atlesian mech suits began busting through the walls and started to attack the White Fang soldiers, and avoiding Winter and Jacob. Winter and Jacob used the opportunity to get out of the line of fire before the mech suits do end up killing them too. They got out of the camp entirely as the suits made their way inside. Just then a couple Atlesian Bullheads also joined the fight, dropping in several Atlas soldiers from each Bullhead. As they landed on the roof a few ran towards Jacob and Winter. "You two alright?" One of them asked.

Jacob nodded. "Thanks for the help" he said. "They nearly got us"

"We're clearing out the whole area for anymore White Fang encampments in the area. We can handle it from here" He said then left with his squad.

Jacob and Winter soon saw another Bullhead arrive. This one landed on the ground near them and when the doors opened, Ironwood came out. "There you are" Ironwood said and walked towards them. "Ruby and her team told me about what had happened... And you, Winter. What happened with you? You were just supposed to scout out this camp from afar" Jacob looked over at her and it looked as though she was afraid of what to say. And why wouldn't she be? She was safe from farther away but how does she explain she purposely got closer to the camp for a better look and got caught. How can Winter explain that to her superior in a way that doesn't get her in trouble? There's just no way out of this one for her.

That is until, Jacob spoke up...

"O-Oh why Winter, you don't need to stay silent to protect me" Jacob said.

Ironwood looked at him with a confused look and Winter looked at him with an even more confusing look. "What?!" Winter asked. "I-I mean... What do you mean by protect you?"

"Well... I know you're probably worried how I look in front of the general but no need to lie, right?" Jacob asked. "I snuck into the camp in an attempt to deal with... well you know who. But I ended up getting caught. I would've died if not for Winter breaking in to rescue me" Jacob said and looked at Winter with his brow raised. "Isn't that right? Winter?" He asked.

Winter was shocked hearing him speak. To her it felt like bullshitting was easy for the mystery Huntsman next to her, which it kinda does already. "Uh... that's right. I apologize for abandoning my post sir... b-but he was in trouble so I... just rushed in" She said with a straight face.

Ironwood looked at the two and sighed. "You should've come to me you know Winter. You could've gotten killed alone" He said. "But... Good work nonetheless, as always" He said.

Winter was glad. Not just from the compliment but she just avoided an unpleasant talk with the general about her fuck up. "Thank you... Sir" She said.

Ironwood looked at Jacob. "That Bullhead is going to take you back to Beacon boy, I have to stay here until the threat is dealt with completely. As for you, you're to report to Ozpin immediately. So we can talk about... this" He said and motioned to the map Jacob had picked up back from David. "Come with me Winter" He said and walked away into the encampment.

Jacob looked over at Winter. "See you around Schnee" Jacob said.

Winter looked back at him. "See you around... Assassin" Winter said then looked away.

Beacon, Ozpins office - 7:30PM

The battle had been won. The map was back in the Frye's hands, a psycho ice cream haired girl wont be bothering Evie or Jacob anymore, They know the Red Gorillas true intentions in Vale, and Salem's spy is no more. Some would say that everything is going just fine again.

"Everything is going to shit!" Ironwood yelled and slammed his fist on the table. Everyone had gathered up back at Ozpins office once Jacob and Evie arrived back at the school. to say things weren't getting heated right now would be an understatement. "Just when we thought our servers nearly being hacked was as bad as it can get, now they target multiple innocent students, and Jacob has killed 2 Shade students. Which by the way I believe it was the right call, whether they were bad guys or not won't matter once this news reaches Vacuo... And what is this about explosions underneath the school? What the hell was that all about?" He asked.

Jacob sighed. "It was a setup. Not only for me but for every White Fang member Adam saw as a threat to his work. It was Davids attempt to rid off bad blood and get rid of me and Arthur... But you guy's should also know that they know about the underground bunker. The one with the Fall Maiden"

"Were these blasts his attempt to break the bunker open too? If they knew of the bunker they had to have known the bunker was impenetrable" Goodwitch said.

"Oh David knew... but none of the White Fang miners I killed to get inside, and especially neither did Arthur, David's partner and a criminal with his own set of problems. David's plan was to recruit him into the order and use him as a scapegoat once this was over. Unfortunately it failed"

Ozpin looked at Evie. "And what about you Evie? What happened in Mistral?"

"What happened was the crazy widow of Roman Torchwick tried to kill me. She nearly killed Nora in the process and I wasn't going to let her get away with hit"

"You were not ordered to go after her... You caused havoc in that whole airfield. This isn't something that wont just go away either" Ozpin said.

"What I did was nothing compared to what Neo would've done if she had gotten away" Evie said. "Trust me I know people like her. They'll stop at nothing to kill anyone they want dead. Even if that means killing other people"

"This doesn't change the fact that both of you have still caused issues in both kingdoms!" Ironwood said. "You know something? I've had my own issues with you two and I feel as though today proved it"

Edward scoffed as he leaned on the wall. "Get off your high horse Ironwood. They fucked up. So what?"

"So what?" Ironwood asked and turned to him. He scoffed. "I wouldn't expect you to understand how fucked we are if we lose. Considering your the one who told Jacob to keep the map in his map of all places"

"I told him to do that to keep it from YOU!" Edward said. "The last thing we need is to find anything powerful enough to make your inflated ego more inflated. I've heard the rumors about you Ironwood..."

"Oh is that so?" Ironwood asked. "If you have a problem with me Edward then say it. I have nothing to hide. That's why I'm headmaster AND general"

"Oh well pardon me. There's nothing else your in charge of or does the list stop there you-"

"For gods sake! Enough!" Jacob said. "Me and Evie are well aware of our fuck ups and we don't deny it... Clearly we have different methods than what you're used to but we still get it done. We can argue over how it was done all night long, OR we can be happy it's over and got the map" Jacob said and motioned to the special map on the table.

Ironwood glared at the two of us. He was a headstrong leader, spent a good amount of his life helping the Protectors. That didn't mean he was perfect. He turned and walked to Ozpins elevator. "I have work to do... call me if something important happens" He said and went into the elevator.

Jaune and Evie both sighed as they sat back down in the chairs, overall exhausted through this whole day of dealing with so much bullshit. "Ozpin I-"

"Stop" Ozpin said as he leaned back in his chair. "I know Ironwood can be difficult to be with. I'm well aware of this... but bottom line is that I make the decisions in this group. Not you, not Ironwood, and especially not you Edward" He said and then turned his attention to Edward. "Understand?"

Edward sighed and nodded. "Yes sir..."

"Good. Now besides all of that... I'm glad you two are ok, that's whats important" Ozpin said with a sigh. "Don't worry about Ironwood, he's just annoyed and stressed out like the rest of us with everything that's going on lately. 2 shade students are dead, both of them were spies for Salem and god only knows if they were the only ones or not. Now my other students are being targeted. Gang and White fang activity are both increasing in Vale. Now I need to find a new Grimm studies teacher-"

"Wait a new teacher?" Evie asked. "What happened to Professor Port?"

"He was fired while you were gone... Apparently he was hitting on an underage student" Glynda said.

Jacob gasped. "What? Oh god that's awful.. So Port is gone? Just like that?" He asked sounding genuinely saddened that the pedophile teacher is gone.

Glynda rolled her eyes. "Don't feel bad for him Jacob" She said.

Jacob scoffed. "What? oh God no. Fuck him... But his Grimm studies class was the only class I can sleep in when he goes on his long boring stories"

"Ah... great" Glynda said and sighed. "Point is no more going on rogue operations. Either of you" She said. "We're on delicate ground right now after everything that has happened. Everything you two do now needs to be approved by us" She said.

"We understand Ms. Goodwitch" Evie said with a nod. "If that's the case, there are some things we need to discuss going forward"

"Alright. Lets hear it" Ozpin said, as he leaned forward in his desk.

"First I want to start a gang war" Jacob said.

"Uh... Excuse me?"

"Bare with me please" Jacob said. "The Red Gorilla gang are getting a lot more bold and the Swarm gang need all the help they can muster up to fight them off... But more importantly, their leader, Alex, is Adam Taurus's brother. If I can get to Alex, I can get to Adam. If I get to Adam, White Fang presence in Vale will plummet and Salem will have lost a big chunk of her support"

"Salem will have more than just the White Fang for support. There will always be more" Ozpin said. "But that's a good start nonetheless" He added.

"I also want to take a turn looking through the map and studying it. There's only one thing hidden we could find and its 'Third Crusade'. We have no clue what that's supposed to entail but it's the only clue we have that could lead to finding out where the Apple would be" Evie said.

"Thankfully one of you isn't bloodthirsty" Ozpin said with a nod. "You got it... Just please don't lose it"

Evie nodded back as she took the map and put it away. "Now there's one last thing we should discuss with you..."

"Yeah... We think it's time to tell our teammates about us" Jacob said.

Gkynda let out a scoff. "W-What? Why?"

"It's for their protection. With everything going on we think it's best to either be honest with our team, or we need to leave Beacon entirely to keep them safe"

"Are you being serious?" Glynda asked. "You can't just... Ozpin tell them they're being ridiculous!"

"I actually like it" Ozpin said. "They're right Glynda. Our enemies are getting more bold with their attacks and it'll only get worse. It's only fair that they keep them in the loop... Plus we know they'll do whatever they can to find out anyway" He said.

Both siblings gave a satisfied sigh of relief that Ozpin approved. To be fair they were going to tell them anyway but it's better to get Ozpins permission and not on his bad side. "Thank you" They both said.

"You two should get going. You got a big day tomorrow" Ozpin said to them. The two got up from their seats and headed for the elevator, ready to see their friends. Once the doors of the elevator closed, Ozpin let out a sigh and leaned back in his seat. "This... is why I don't work with teenagers"

Beacon Dorms 8:10PM

Both Jacob and Evie stood just outside of the door to Team RWBy's room. "You absolutely sure about this?" Jacob asked his sister. "Having second thoughts?"

"Are you?" She asked back.

"Well I... I don't know really. I'm just worried about that they'll think after we talk to them"

"I am too, believe me... But we don't have a choice" Evie said. "They'll always be in danger every day we leave them in the dark. We owe it to them to keep them in the loop... especially Nora and Yang who were nearly killed because of us" She said.

Jacob sighed then nodded. "Yeah you're right" He said. Jacob opened the door and and he and Evie went in the room, where all of team RWBY and all of JNPR was waiting for them inside. "Thanks for waiting" Jacob said.

"Of course!" Ruby said. "Are you gonna tell us the big secret you two have already?"

"Yeah are we gonna have to worry about getting blown up or shot at again?" Ren asked.

"How many more people are gonna come into our room and trash it looking for god knows what you have stashed?" Yang asked.

"Why is my sister calling me and telling me to thank you for rescuing her from a White Fang camp?" Weiss asked.

Are you Pyrrha and Jaune porking or what?" Nora asked.

"Ok listen please!" Jacob said, trying to stop the bombardment of questions. "Everything we're about to tell you will answer most of everything... just please let us say what we need to say, and please keep your questions relevant to what we're talking about" Jacob said.

Evie grabbed a chair in the room and sat down. "Let's start at the beginning" Evie said and took a deep breath. "When we first meet, we told you all that we came from Achievement City Island... That was a lie. It was the only place me and Jacob determined would be the best cover story for us where it was just believable enough that people wouldn't bother looking into our origin"

the crowd they were talking to was silent. Unsure of how to respond to this news. Some had suspicions about it but it was like Evie said, it was just believable enough. "So... What is the truth?" Ruby asked.

"The truth is..." Jacob took a deep breath as well. "The truth is we aren't from Remnant at all... A few months ago we were in our own world called Earth. This place has no Grimm. No Faunus. No warriors who fight with Auras and Semblances. No Dust. Nothing like that... Then one day just out of nowhere, me and Evie were sucked through a portal that eventually bought us here. The person who opened that portal was a woman named Juno. Juno is uh... Evie? How's the best way to describe her?" He asked and looked at her sister.

"Well she's a sort of God but not a God at the same time if that makes sense, who billions of years ago she and her whole technologically advanced species called the Isu ruled over Earth until they went extinct due to the sun. And if you think that's hard to believe, what's even more bizarre is that she and her friends also created this world, Remnant, as a fail-safe if they were unable to save Earth from the sun, they could live here instead" She said. "But neither options ended up working out for them. Earth ended up being destroyed and all of the Isu ended up dying with it, and humans were able to take over Earth in their absence. And Remnant... They were close to making it work here too. But one of Juno's friends named Salem would rather kill all of the humans then try to have them in their lives again. She made the Grimm in order to have them wipe humanity out along with any of her own people who would try to fight back. In the end Salem was the only one left in Remnant and is still waging war against humanity to this day"

"Wha... I-I'm sorry, I think I'm following so far..." Pyrrha said.

"I'm not!" Nora quickly said with her hand raised up

"But what does this have to do with you two coming here?" Pyrrha asked.

"Juno and her people love to speak cryptic to humans when they need their assistance or leave prerecorded messages for us before they died... When Juno sent us here, she said that our task was simply to protect you" Jacob said and looked at Ruby. "At first we had no idea what that meant. But I think our job was to keep you alive when you fought Romans thugs in the Dust store. The rest that happened after that would just come natural" He said. "Now in order for us to go home, Juno wants us to help out in finding an object that goes by many different names, but it's real name is the Apple of Eden" Jacob said.

Nora, Jaune, Weiss, and Ruby all raised their hands. "It's not a literal apple you can eat" Evie said, then all of those hands went down. "It's one of many devices the Isu have used to either fight in wars or keep humans in line and obedient to them... This particular device has the power to control peoples minds. It's very dangerous, especially for a regular human to use. But Salem? If SHE ever got her hands on it, she'll have the power to kill all life on Remnant. She's been waiting to get her hands on this device for thousands and thousands of years and she won't stop for anything"

"Right now we have this. The only thing that holds the location to the Apple" Evie pulled out the map to show them. "Problem is there's nothing on here that tells us where the Apple is. There's a sort of extra step that goes into reading the map. We don't know it yet, But we're working on a few leads to try and find the location"

"At the same time, We also have more of Salems own people to deal with" Jacob said. "She has humans helping her. Humans who are have the equally crazy views of genocide as Salem and pledge their loyalty to her. David, Neo, they're just the beginning of what's to come... But we promise you, all of you, that this will be the last time any of you ever get hurt because of us" Jacob said to them. "We care very much about all of you... That's why we're telling you all of this. Why we've been away doing our own thing so much. Why you see pretty little of us. Why David... Why he tried to take this map from me"

"So... So David was working with this Salem lady all along?" Yang asked, shocked and a bit of disbelief that a man she cared so much for would fall in to such a bad crowd. No, bad was an understatement to describe him at this point.

Jacob nodded. "I'm afraid so... It came at such a shock to me because he was so helpful to me and my work against Roman and the White Fang. But it was all an elaborate ruse to get on my good side" He then sighed. "And it worked"

"Jacob was... was him being nice to ME when we first meet several years ago a-"

"No. No that was all real" He reassured her so she didn't think the worse. "Him betraying us the way he did, and when he did... It started when he landed in Vale and I introduced myself to him" He walked up to the group. "I know this is a lot to take in for all of you. And I'm sure you want to know a lot more about me and Evie... But for now I want to know what you all think of all of this"

The 8 of them looked around at each other, giving each other looks and also whispering to each other. Then they looked back. "Well... I guess I speak for us all when I say we appreciate you telling us finally" Ruby said. "I mean I kinda get why you kept it secret. It sounds so bizarre that I'm still trying to understand all of it... But I do believe you"

"Same here" Jaune said and looked at Evie. "You were usually always so quiet and kept to yourself when we first meet. I figured it was because you were shy to be around us, but this makes a lot more sense why you'd keep to yourself"

"Oh she was definitely shy when you first meet" Jacob said with a smirk. "She has a thing for awkward guys taller than her" He teased and laughed at his twin sister.

Evie had a red face hearing him speak. "Shut the hell up Jacob!" Evie said through gritting her teeth.

"Well thanks again for telling us all of this you two, I mean it" Pyrrha said as she stood up. "We should get back to our room... and I was hoping to talk to you two as well about some stuff, especially now" She said to Evie and Jaune.

"Oh... uh right we still hadn't spoken" Jaune said.

Nora was snickering and nudged at Ruby and whispered to her. Whatever she said to her make Ruby snicker as well. "I swear If I look back and see you two laughing you're gonna learn a bit more about me that involves this blade" Evie spoke up and retracted her wrist blade out in full view for them too see.

Both Nora and Ruby immediately cleared their throats and stepped away from each other. "U-Uhhhhh... Come on Ren! lets go to the food court before it closes!" Nora said before purposely dragging him away out of the room and down the hall. Then Evie Pyrrha and Jaune were the next to leave and discuss stuff in their room.

Jaune stayed behind with his team and looked at them. "So... All the times we were working together to fight the White Fang. Are they involved in Salems plans?" Blake asked rather worried.

"I don't think so... I think their leader Adam is the one who's involved. The soldiers and manpower are just rather a bonus for them, so long as their interests align, nobody will notice any difference. Once I get rid of him and his brother, the rest will have no reason to stick around" As he spoke, he noticed Yang get up from her bed and walk towards Jacob. "Yang... What do you think of all this?"

Yang stayed silent for a few seconds. Every second of Jacob waiting was slowly killing him as the anticipation of whether she was going to hate him or not. Finally she gave her response to him.

She moved in closer to kiss him.

Jacob was shocked at first from the sudden gesture of love but wasn't complaining as he kissed back.

"BLECH! Get a room you two!" Ruby yelled.

"This is their room you dolt" Weiss said.

"Oh..." Ruby said back. "Well knock it off!"

Yang rolled her eyes and backed away. "Just ask me one thing Jacob... Why did you make me fall in love with you if you'll eventually just leave?"

Jacob sighed as he reached down to hold her hands. "I didn't mean to but... but it happened. I'm in love with you too Yang, I've never meet a woman like you before like in England. I don't want to just pack up and leave, but I can't just leave my old life either" He held her hands tighter. "But I promise you Yang, I will find a way to make this work between us when this is over. I don't know how, but I will" He said.

Yang sniffled a bit like she was trying to hold back tears, but then nodded her head. "I know you will... Because I sure as shit won't let you leave me" She said back then gave him another kiss back then walking back to her bed.

Jacob went over to his desk to sit down and let out a long and satisfied sigh of relief as he leaned back in his chair. letting the whole truth out lifted an incredible weight off his shoulder he didn't even realize he had. Jacob and Evie both survived a weekend full of Grimm, thugs, psychos, fake friends, yet the most challenging thing both probably had to face today was both their love lifes, and meeting said love life's parents. If they were able to survive all of that, what could Salem possibly have to throw back at the twins?"

Salems Castle Compound - 10:00PM

"FUCK!" Cinder screamed to the top of her lungs, as she then threw a chair out the window of the briefing room of the castle. She had just gotten the news of their failed mission to get the map. But more importantly to Cinder, the death of her son. "My son Salem! He murdered my son!" She shouted as she walked towards her queen, breaking down in tears in front of her, while Salem in return gave no emotion to her as she let her get it all out. "This cannot go unanswered... I will not go back to that school and put on a fake smile when I see that bastard walk by me! I will finish where Neo failed and kill not only him but his sister!"

"You are thinking irrationally Cinder" Salem simply said. "The state of our plan to overrun Beacon will only work from the inside. That is you, Mercury, and Emeralds job" She said and motioned to the others who were also sitting at the table. Both of them looking very awkward and uncomfortable as they listened to Cinder keep on going off.

"What about David, Salem? What about my son who died too young?! Who had so much more to achieve?!" Cinder asked.

"Jacob and Evie Frye aren't going anywhere. There's no place in Remnant for them to hide for permanently, so long as the Apple stays out of their grasp" Salem said. "They can either hold onto the map for as long as they think they can keep it safe, or they can take the risk and go search for the Apple, and end up having to deal with us... Either way, their fate is sealed. Ozpin can only keep them and all of Beacon safe for so long"

Cinder sniffed as she rubbed her eyes, and also shook her head. "It's not good enough Salem... You are my queen, and I will follow you to the end of it all no matter what... But I can't let this go unanswered. THEY cannot go unpunished... He heeds to be avenged"

Salem looked at her sternly as she slowly stood up from her chair. She walked up to her as the others in the room were scared shitless, knowing what happens when people speak like that to the Queen. Cinder however wasn't backing down from her, the love she has, or had, for her son was stronger than her fear of Salem. It didn't matter that David was adopted. She raised him since he was a child and she could see the power and potential that he had. Salem looked down at her, giving Cinder an intense glare before putting her hand on her shoulder. "You're right... David deserves it" She said. "There is... someone who I believe is uniquely qualified to deal with the Frye twins" She said before walking out of the room.

Salem walked through her castle, making her way outdoors to one of the Grimm puddles outside where the Grimm creatures come from. She stood in front of the puddle and let out a sigh. "Oh Cinder... You're lucky that I need you breathing in order for me to achieve my goals. Instead here I am bending over backwards trying to make you happy" She spoke out loud as her Seer floated over to Salem. She looked down at the head of the Seer as it started to display images and such of a particular human. Salem is still an Isu, and Isu have a special ability and special tech that allows them to expand their mind and look forward into the timeline of the universe... In Earth specifically. Her powers to see through time are useless in Remnant, hense why it's taken her so long to find the Apple on her own. But she can however still use it to see Earth, which she hasn't bothered to do in such a long time because she figured it was pointless. But that was before she found out about Jacob and Evies origins from the planet that was once ruled by the Isu. But more importantly Salems powers don't just stop at seeing though time... Thanks to her powers through Grimm recreation can create whatever, and whoever she wants. "Juno you fool... You brought 2 siblings to me just to have them die"

The Seer then stuck its tentacles into the Grimm puddle. The tentacles was charging light through the tentacles and into the puddle for a few short minutes, before finally stopping as a hand shot out of the puddle and grabbed onto the ground in front. The arm started pulling itself out and out came a naked human male, whose skin was pale white and black cracks along his body, the same way Salems skin was. The guy was gasping for air and breathing heavy as he slowly crawled out of the puddle all the way and then fell on the ground, too weak to get up or fight. Salem rolled him over with her foot to get him on his back, and then looked down at her new friend to get to know with an evil smile on her face. "Hello Jack"
