Delia and professor Oak had planned a Christmas bash at Professor Oak's place. All Ash's and Gary's friends are invited as well as some of Delia's and professor Oak's friends. It was getting close to time to get started, and everyone was getting excited. Everything was in place, and now all they had to do was wait till it was time.
Ash was in the backyard with his pokemon. "It's great to see you all again!"
All his pokemon where grouped around him, and shouting happily at him.
Ash then noticed a couple of his friends. "Hey, it's Dawn and Clemont!"
Ash and all his pokemon ran up to them and greeted them.
"Hi everybody!" Dawn happily cheered.
"It's good to see you two again! So what did you get me for Christmas?"
"You're just going to have to wait and see, Ash," Clemont said.
"Hey, come on! I'll tell you if you tell me! What do you say, Dawn?"
She looked a little spaced out and sick.
"Dawn?"
"I… need to use the bathroom," she replied. Dawn then ran off.
Ash watched her with a confused look.
"Huh, must be food poisoning. I'll go and check on her…" Clemont said.
Bonnie was then running toward the lab. She stopped in fount of Ash. "Wow, what a lot of cool pokemon!"
"Yeah, all of the pokemon from Pallet Town trainers are here, and right here are my pokemon!"
"That's so cool! Hi everyone! My name is Bonnie!"
Dedenne hopped out and introduced himself.
All Ash's pokemon happily introduced themselves.
"So I was supposed to meetup with my brother here since we decided to look around Kanto on our own, but I don't see him here. I guess he hasn't shown up yet," Bonnie said.
"Actually, he and Dawn where here not too long ago, but then Dawn had to use the restroom," Ash said.
Bonnie gave a disturbed look. "What, the lovebirds can't be away from each other for even a moment?"
"Lovebirds? You mean they're dating?"
"Yeah. Been dating way before the break. Though it's not surprising you missed that."
Ash let out a nervous laugh.
May and Drew then walked up to the place together holding hands.
"Hey Ash! Good to see you!" May said.
"Good to see you two, too!" Ash said. "By the way, I don't know if you met her yet, but this is Bonnie! And Bonnie, this is May and Drew!"
"Hello Bonnie! It's nice to meet you!" May said.
"Nice to meet you too…" Bonnie said. She saw Drew's arm around May and gave an unamused look. "What, is everyone here going to lovey-dovey here besides me? Great, as if it wasn't annoying enough listening to my brother talking to Dawn," Bonnie thought.
Delia then popped out from inside. "It's time everyone! Let's all open presents!"
Everyone shouted, "all right!" and ran inside.
Serena smiled big as she received a flower hairpiece from Ritchie. "Thanks Ritchie! It's beautiful!"
Ritchie smiled and thought, "well, it's not as beautiful as you…" then said, "I'm glad you like it!"
Tracey handed Misty a pokemon egg. "I know how much you love water pokemon, so I got this you this egg. I hope you like it."
Misty laughed. "Thanks Tracey. But you didn't have to."
"But, I really wanted to give you something that'll make you happy, because I really care for you, you know?" Tracey blushed and looked down, as Misty stared at him in shock with a small blush.
Tracey looked up and blushed deeper. "Oh, opps how could I have missed that!" Tracey then nervously looked around.
Misty then looked up and saw the mistletoe. She smiled and thought, "this is a perfect time for me to give him my gift." Misty then stepped in and leaned in on him and kissed him. After the kiss, she beamed at him and said, "thanks Tracey! I'm sure I'll love it!"
Tracey looked at her and smiled at her. "I… sure hope so."
Misty placed her hands against his chest as she giggled. "I wouldn't worry about it stealing my feelings for you though. Because that'll be imposable to do."
Tracey embraced her and chuckled a bit. "Well, I'm glad."
Bonnie groaned as she saw Tracey and Misty interact.
Max should up behind her. "What's your problem? It's Christmas. No time to be a grouch!"
"Yeah! It's Christmas! Not Valentine's Day! What is this?"
Max crossed his arms and narrowed his eyes. "Seems to me like someone is jealous."
"Ha. Me, jealous of what?"
"That you don't have a boyfriend."
Bonnie angrily huffed. "Please! You don't know anything! It's not like I'm upset that my hopeless brother found a girlfriend before I could find a boyfriend!"
"…Right."
Bonnie crossed her arms and angrily huffed. "It's just very awkward, is all! I doubt you'd understand!"
Max watched as Drew feed May and groaned. "No… I think I understand you're dilemma extremely well, actually…"
Bonnie gave him a surprised look. "Really?"
"Look at that idiot right there." Max pointed to her sister as she accidently slopped food on her shirt, and both Drew and her giggled. "She's an embarrassing sister. She can't even feed herself! I bet she's the reason why girls avoid me!"
Bonnie shrugged. "My brother makes her look like a genius. Like the first time my brother started going out with her, he couldn't even talk correctly. 'Oh beautiful, are Dawn you! I mean uh, Dawn are you beautiful. Oh sorry, I mean…' I'm surprised she hasn't dumped him already."
Max face palmed. "Sounds like our siblings are a perfect match."
"Totally! My name is Bonnie by the way!"
"My names Max!"
"Nice to meet you, Max. Hey, I just got a great idea! We can try and split up our siblings with their dates so they'd stop being so embarrassing for us!"
"Hey, what a great idea!" Max then crossed his arms with a smirk. "Though I was right in saying you were jealous that you don't have a boyfriend."
Bonnie glared at him with clenched fist and yelled, "I told you I am not!"
May and Drew sat together and opened their presents. Drew had one arm around May, and some punch in the other.
May opened her gift from Ash. "…Wow, a bag of chips. How nice."
Drew chuckled. "Well, it's not surprising for Ash."
"I guess…"
Suddenly a psychic attack made Drew's hand with the punch move and spill on May's lap.
"Hey, what is that for?" May shouted.
"I-I don't… didn't do it."
"Right! Very funny!" She slammed the bag of chips in Drew's face. "Men are such idiots!"
"Wait! May, listen!"
May stormed off as Drew went after her.
Clemont sat alone quietly opening his presents with a thoughtful look on his face.
Bonnie walked over pondering what she should do to ruin his relationship, but then she remembered something. "Hey Clemont, what are you doing?"
Clemont was startled a bit, but then quickly calmed down. "Oh, Bonnie. I'm just opening presents is all."
"Oh… Where's Dawn?"
"She… wasn't feeling well, so she went home."
She smirked. "Or maybe… she ditched you to see that Riley guy."
"Who?"
"One day, I saw Dawn walking with this guy. Once she gone to the restroom, I introduced myself to him saying I was her friend. That's when I found out his name and that he also was seeing Dawn!"
Clemont narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms. "Bonnie, you know it's bad to make stuff up! Dawn would never do that!"
Bonnie shrugged. "Okay. But don't come crying to me once you find out for yourself." Bonnie then left.
Clemont nervously stared at the door. "Oh, what if she's right, what should I do? As if I don't have enough to worry about," Clemont thought.
Bonnie snickered as she watched Clemont. She saw a girl who looked almost exactly like Dawn, but her name was Platinum, as she found out from Riley himself. Now Bonnie is sure all she has to do is wait till they're back and school and get Clemont to bump into them while they are together to get Clemont to believe her. If only she could've talked to Dawn too about how embarrassing Clemont really is, but she guessed that always could wait till next time.
Bonnie and Max met up together.
Max couldn't stop laughing. "My sister feel for it hook, line, and sinker! She had no idea that it was actually my Gallade who made Drew do it!"
"Oh you have a Gallade? That's so cool!"
Max crossed his arms and smirked. "Well, me and Gallade have been friends way before I even became a trainer!"
"Wow! That's just like me and Dedenne!"
Dedenne popped out as soon as it heard its name.
"Nice. So how did it go for you?"
"Great! My stupid brother I'm sure will fall for my trap soon enough!"
"Alright!"
"But really, it's just too bad we didn't think of this sooner!"
"Yeah, no kidding!"
