Episode 104: The last job
The night covered the clean and modern skyscrapers of Alumia. Landon and the rest of the Chaos Warriors were discussing the plan in their ship, en route to their objective, the last job. "Landon will make the distraction." Alfons spoke with conviction and focus. "After he makes the hydrinoxide explode, Uthman and I will get the motor."
"What will I do after that?" Landon asked.
"You deal with the security." Alfons explained. "When we get the motor, Lydia will come for us and we´ll hook it up to the ship. Then we leave."
"Understood." Lydia replied, the ship was in auto-pilot this time. "I got something for you, boss." She gestured at the cockpit and they walked towards there. She crouched and took a black helmet from under the console, handing it to him. The helmet had feline ears and a snout on its design. He raised it while looking at it with a smirk then put it on slowly. The eyes of the helmet glowed red afterwards.
"Let´s move." Alfons´ voice sounded deeper, distorted and ominous, thanks to the speakers of the helmet.
Lydia took control of the ship again and took them to the facilities of Kyros Technologies, a huge place with gray and white buildings with the company´s logo on them. Lydia hovered the ship at a cautious distance from the place. She opened the door of the ship with the press of a button, Alfons and the others looked down, seeing a large, hovering cargo ship parking next to one of the many warehouses. "It´s time." Alfons said then rapidly got in his mech suit while Lydia lowered the ship. Alfons jumped out of the ship, landing on the street, followed by Landon and Uthman. After that, Lydia flew upwards and just hovered in the sky in wait for the plan to develop.
Landon took a deep breath then exhaled. "Alright." He rushed towards the fence and then started to climb it. He jumped onto the other side, landing gracefully on the ground.
"Hey!" An armored guard yelled at him, running towards him while aiming his machine gun at him.
"Dang it." Landon aimed his hands at the guard and shoot waves of sound towards him, hitting him strongly. The guard let out a brief yell before falling dead over the ground. Landon sighed with relief and looked around, then he kept moving between the buildings and the vehicles parked there. After some more sneaky movements and steps, he found a huge, cylindrical container, which was secured to a hovering platform. "I found it." Landon mumbled through his comm, then he cautiously walked towards the container. Landon aimed his hands at the container and started to shoot waves of sound at it, making it tremble. He backed away a couple steps when the container began to make a loud noise. The container trembled even stronger, so Landon stopped shooting and ran away from it rapidly, just in time as the container exploded afterwards. He jumped and fell to the ground, then looked over his shoulder, seeing the bright explosion at the distance. With his eyes widened, he brought his comm close to his snout. "Done."
Alfons was looking at the explosion just as Uthman. An emergency alarm began to sound. "I know." He looked at Uthman and gestured at the place, then ran towards the fence and shot a rocket at it. They entered through the big hole that the rocket´s explosion had made, then they hid behind a huge vehicle. "Perfect." Alfons said when seeing the guards running in groups towards the explosion that Landon had provoked. His eyes were locked at the cargo ship that contained the motor. "Come on!" He commanded and rushed towards it, encountering with a group of guards that shot at them instantly. Alfons and Uthman dodged the shots, Uthman killed some guards with his waterjet while Alfons terminated the rest with the laser of his suit. They approached the cargo, Alfons got in the vehicle and pressed a button on the console, opening the backdoor. He got off the cargo ship and ran towards the backside, followed by Uthman.
The motor was laying there as they were expecting, it was huge and cube shaped, with lots of elements attached to it. Alfons got in the backside with a quick jump and before he could even approach the motor, his ear twitched, so he looked over his shoulder and growled when seeing the group of guards running towards them. He screamed and jumped off the vehicle then started to shoot rockets at the guards, making them explode in pieces, while also shooting his laser at them, incinerating them instantly. Uthman pierced their flesh with his waterjet while Landon, who had just arrived, killed them with the sound waves of his gloves. The battle was short, Alfons and the others eliminated all of the guards with ease. Alfons activated his comm. "We´re done, Lydia! Begin with the extraction!" Alfons, Landon and Uthman jumped in the vehicle and started to push the motor with lots of effort, then they carried it and hopped out of the cargo ship, putting the motor on the ground.
Lydia arrived, hovering the ship above them, lowering down a hook with the help of a slider on the cockpit´s console. Alfons grabbed the hook and attached it to the motor. Lydia lowered the ship a bit more then Uthman got in. Alfons got hit by an orange orb on the shoulder area of his mech suit. "Gah!" He yelled and turned rapidly, frowning and grunting when seeing the Loonatics flying towards them.
"You missed us, brat?!" Duck exclaimed, chuckling as he had hit Alfons successfully.
Alfons screamed with rage while shooting rockets at the heroes, who evaded them gracefully with the aid of their jetpacks. "These idiots!" Alfons got in the vehicle along with Landon. "Go! Go! Go! Now!" Alfons ordered with fury. Lydia flew the ship upwards quickly, accelerating to the maximum. Alfons kept shooting at the Loonatics with both his laser and rockets, unable to hit them, Ace flew towards the ship while dodging the projectiles and destroying them with his laser vision. Uthman and Landon began to attack the Loonatics as well. Tech flew down, getting below the hanging motor, he activated his magnetic powers and started to manipulate it, getting it surrounded by that green glow.
"You´re coming with daddy." Tech started to pull the motor with effort, making the ship struggle.
"Damn it!" Alfons climbed to the ship´s roof, staggering while walking towards one of the edges, managing to spot Tech. "Goodbye, mangy dog." He shot a rocket at him.
"Shoot!" Tech´s eyes widened when seeing the rocket going towards him, he reacted rapidly and flew rightwards violently, evading the rocket, but making the motor and the ship hit a building strongly.
"No, no, no, no..." Lydia expressed with great anguish as the ship´s systems had gotten severely damaged, being unable to control it.
The ship crashed onto another building and got inside it, falling to the ground strongly along with a huge amount of debris. The ship was completely covered in dust and huge chunks of concrete. The building was some sort of museum, with luminescent and abstract sculptures and some art hanging on the walls. The alarm was buzzing.
Alfons got out of the debris covered ship with ease, thanks to his mech suit. He looked around to find the motor, which was laying on a corner. He noticed it had a fissure as dark blue particles were exiting aggressively from it, making a subtle noise. Alfons got out of his mech suit slowly, completely silent.
"Boss!" Lydia screamed agonizingly, having been crushed by tons of debris and the ship itself. "Gah!"
"Help us!" Landon exclaimed, being in the same situation as Lydia. Uthman groaned intensely by the pain he was feeling, suffering in the debris just as his comrades. Alfons ignored them and started to walk towards the motor.
"We should get out of here...now." Tech dragged himself towards Alfons while his bleeding and destroyed body regenerated. He stood up slowly while Ace and the rest of the team landed among him, then they deactivated their jetpacks.
Ace approached Tech, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You okay, man?"
"I´m fine." Tech replied.
Ace looked at Alfons with a frown while clenching his fist. Before he could walk towards him, Lexi stopped him gently.
"That thing is gonna explode." Tech said, taking a step towards Alfons. "You sh..."
"Goodbye." Alfons said with an enraged and broken voice. "Goodbye, Loonatics." He took his gun and began to shoot at the motor, non stop.
"No!" Tech yelled with great alarm. Duck teleported right behind Alfons and before he could do anything to stop him, the motor exploded.

Episode 2: Assault, part 3
The team´s ship landed over the rooftop of a building, which was a few streets away from the base they were about to infiltrate. "Finally." Akinyi sighed and took off her seat belt, standing up and stretching a bit.
"So, we just get in, kill some guys and take the thing?" Edison inquired, having stood up just as the rest.
"Simple, right?" Vale winked at him mockingly. "Take your boards. And don´t screw up."
Having gotten on their respective hover-boards, which were designed with the gray and blue of the uniforms, the Maniacs headed to the base, flying just above the street. "Did you go to the bathroom first, amigo?" Akinyi told Randy.
Randy´s eyes widened. "Oh, no, why? Was it necessary?" He said with worry.
Akinyi chuckled. "It´s just a joke, Randy, relax."
"Oh, I see." Randy replied with a blush. "Sorry." He made her let out another brief laugh.
"Hey, this is serious, guys." Edison said with annoyance.
"Yeah? Nobody asked you, Eddie." Akinyi responded with a cold tone.
Vale sighed. "Is this really all we got?"
They finally arrived at their destination, getting off their boards. Each one of them pressed a button on their wrist, making the boards fly away. "So, where will they go?" Akinyi asked.
"Didn´t you read the manual?" Vale was studying the looks of the laser fence that protected the base. "They´ll go back to the ship, and we´ll call them back when we need them."
"Cool." Akinyi said casually.
"Alright." Vale mumbled. "Ed!" He looked at him and gestured at one of the posts that conformed the laser fence.
"Don´t call me Ed!" Edison exclaimed with anger while approaching him.
"Stop crying and destroy that thing." Vale replied with authority.
