Chapter 6: Rainbow Mines

The Toonateers find themselves inside a mine with rainbow jewels, similar to the Seven Dwarfs Mine in Snow White.

"I don't remember this part of Rainbow Caverns," said Oswald.

"You know, this place reminds me of Seven Dwarfs Mine," said Mickey.

Sniffing the air, Tintley said, "I can smell a Tint Guardian Pool. I'm thirsty after giving Mickey's powers a boost."

Tintley flies ahead while Turpley goes after, saying, "Tintley, don't blame us if we get captured again."

The others soon follow while they are looking around. Oswald smirked before using his ears as pickaxes to get two small purple gems. He puts his ears back on.

He went over to Ortensia and said, "Oh, Catty-Cakes. I got you new earrings."

"Oh, honey-bunny. You're such a darling," Ortensia blushed.

The four find Tintley taking big gulps from a Blue Guardian Pool while Turpley looks around.

"Geez, Tintley. You must be very thirsty," said Gus.

"We must keep our health up if we ever encounter enemies," said Tintley.

"I hope we find a Thinner Pool soon. Turpley needs something to drink, too," he said.

Tints then showed up for Tintley to say, "Hi, Tints. How are you? Oh, yes. I'm aware of what the Petes are doing to the Guardians. Turpley and I escaped from them."

"You can understand them?" Oswald asks.

"It's normal to me."

"Cool! Can they understand us? Do they love Ozzie-san and me? Do they see us as their friends?" Mickey excited.

"Shouldn't we ask if they know where we can find Snow White?" Ortensia mentioned.

"Oh, yeah. Have you seen this princess?"

Mickey takes out his phone and shows a picture of Snow White while continuing to say, "She's called Snow White. Lips red as the rose. Hair black as ebony. Skin white as snow."

Everyone looks at Mickey in suspicion before he says, "What? That's how her movie described her."

Tintley said, "They saw someone like her trapped in a mirror-stone, surrounded by her animal friends. They also spot a cat dressed up like her. And they call themselves Small."

"Small Pete?! I always thought he was a bit too feminine and too envious of other girls. How do we get to them?"

"They said, take the mine cart, and it will lead you out of the mine. But you must paint, thin, shock, and break the 7 Statues of Sneezy, Grumpy, Doc, Sleepy, Happy, Dopey, and Bashful along the way."

"Alright then. Thank you."

"They said, you're welcome and good luck. Also, the mine cart is left of you."

"Wait. My remote's radar is picking something up," said Oswald, checking it. "Ah-ha. Three BoltToons are around the cart. Let's get ready."

"Yeah! Fight! Fight! Fight!" Turpley said, going ahead.

"Fairies love to go on their own, do they?" Gus asks.

"You should see Tinkerbell in her movies," said Mickey as the group followed.

But Turpley stopped for everyone to bump into him, so everyone could see BoltToon Mickey watching over BoltToon Oswald working on the mine cart with a wrench and BoltToon Ortensia painting the front of it.

"Hey! Present thief!" Mickey shouted.

The three BoltToons turned to the Toonateers.

"A BlotToon version of me? And my wife?! I don't look that fat!" Oswald cracked his knuckles.

"And I don't wear a skirt like that!" Ortensia was showing her spear hands.

But BlotToon Mickey whistled for BlotToons Oswald and Ortensia to stand by his sides. After they've finished some taunting, they run down the tracks to escape.

"Oh no, you don't!" said Mickey, getting on the cart.

Once everyone else got in, they looked at the front to see that BoltToon Ortensia painted "The Sucker Wagon."

"I would never write such foul words," Ortensia commented.

"I'll flip the switch," said Oswald, pulling down a switch on the cart.

But the cart moved so fast that Gus had to hold Oswald's ears while Tintley and Turpley held Mickey's ears. The Three BoltToons was chuckling until they got run over by the cart. After sitting back up, BlotToon Mickey slapped BlotToon Oswald while BlotToon Ortensia's head was spinning.

"Slow it down, Ozzie-san! Slow it down!" Mickey shouted.

Oswald pulls it up a bit for the cart to slow down, but the Toonateers collide for their feet to only be shown in the cart. The ride soon begins to act slow, like on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Dark ride at Disneyland in California.

"I'm betting BoltToon self had done this," Oswald said as they got back on their feet.

Then Mickey said, "I'll shove my hand into the throat of my BlotToon doppelgänger if I must get that present back. But for now, we got a Disney Princess to rescue."

"Oh, look, it's Rainbow Falls," said Gus, seeing as they passed by.

"Pretty ink colors!" Tintley commented.

"But what's with ugly men statues?" Turpley asks.

"Hey, those statues are dedicated to my friends back home," said Mickey.

"Friends?"

"Technically, yes. Outside of showbiz. So, the Guardians say we need to keep a lookout for their statues to paint, thin, shock, and break."

"Like that one?" Tintley sees a statue of Sneezy, but his nose is thin out.

"Yep. Here's your schnauzer, Sneezy," said Mickey, painting his nose, which made a red light shine down on it.

A Grumpy statue shows water from its head with a reprogramming device.

"Usually, Grumpy is steaming," Mickey said.

"I'm all over it," said Oswald, using his remote to make the statue go from water to steam.

With an orange light shining down on it, the Toonateers came across Angel Falls Caverns.

"Remember Angel Caverns, Ozzie-san?" Mickey asks.

"Having the statues of the Seven Sisters, watchers of the Wasteland Citizens? Yep," Oswald respond.

But when Tintley saw the statues, she gasped before going into a remembering. In her memory, she opens her eyes while in a Guardian Pool surrounded by Tints. She then sees seven shadows. Seven of the shadows look like the Fairy Statues, but each has a different color(red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple). They were smiling sweetly at Tintley. Then the Angel in the color of the neutral Guardian Pool came over to reach out her hands so she could cradle Tintley.

"It worked. After years of birthing the Tints, the first Tint Fairy has come. My little Tintley…," said the Angel.

But upon remembering, Tintley begins to feel dizzy that Mickey spotted.

He took her in his hands and said, "Tintley, what's wrong?"

"I'm remembering…How was I born."

"Oh."

"Hang on, folks. I see another statue with his glasses on his hat," said Ortensia, seeing the Doc Statue.

"Hold that thought," said Mickey before he created a Thinner ball to thin out the hat.

It causes the glasses to fall onto his nose while Mickey paints in the hat. A yellow light shines down on the statue as the cart passes.

"Now, what was that about remembering, Tintley?" Gus asks.

Tintley replies, "Upon seeing Angel Falls, I remember waking up in a Paint Pool. The Seven Sisters surrounded me before the Angel picked me up and named me, Tintley. The Angel claimed she birthed the Tints and me."

"What? So, the Angel is what made the Tints come to be. But what of the Turps?"

"That's all I can remember."

"Well, we got a glimpse of her memories that's she the First Tint Guardian Fairy. What about me?" Turpley said.

"I'm sure your memories will come sometime, Turpley. You need to be patient."

"Easy for you to say."

"Hey, look. It's the Sleepy statue," Mickey continued when the statue is shown sleeping on a pillow, but a bolder is in between the blanket and it. "But Sleepy never goes to sleep without blanky."

"Tucking people, mostly my Bunny Children is what I do best," Ortensia said.

She morphs her fist into a brick to stretch and hit the boulder so the blanket can be on the Sleepy Statue. A green light shines down on it.

"So, the BlotToons are like the Blot Spirits?" Gus asks the Guardian Fairies.

"Something like this," said Mickey, showing a photo of one on his phone.

"How did you get a photo of one?"

"Never underestimate modern technology."

After looking at it, Turpley said, "From what Tintley and I learn, I think they like that but more improvements from Prescott. He added Beetlework's brain to gain control. Thinking the Guardians might strengthen them, he made artificial hearts out of them for the BlotToons."

"The Petes must've taken notes from Mickey's info about today's modern technology," Oswald spoke.

The Happy Statue is seen with a frown and a Paint/Thinner tank.

"I see the Happy statue, but he doesn't look happy," Mickey said, filling the tank with Paint.

This makes the Happy Statue smile, and blue light shines on it.

"Excellent. Two more, and we'll be done," said Gus.

When the cart is passing Devil Falls, Turpley takes a good look at him and starts to remember. He finds him coming out of a Guardian Pool surrounded by Turps. He yawned so deeply before a group of green creatures had the faces of the Devil Well in Devil Caverns. They looked at him with cruel eyes before a huge one with the Giant Devil face showed up. He picks up Turpley with one hand to make him come up to his face.

"Haha. Did those Seven Sisters and Mother Angel think I, Papa Devi L, can create a Guardian Fairy?" he continued. "When Mother Angel sees me with the first Turp Fairy, she won't ignore me this time. Turpley, my son. You will bring honor before the Devi-Turp Clan over the Ang-Tint Tribe! Don't fail me."

When the memory end, Turpley is sitting on Mickey's left shoulder and says, "Papa?"

"Did you just call me Papa, Turpley?" Mickey confused.

"What?! Pfft, no. I remember something. Like Tintley, I was found in a Guardian Pool but in the Turps. Then I was surrounded by creatures calling themselves the Devi-Turp Clan led by Papa Devi L. And they keep mentioning Mother Angel with the Ang-Tint Tribe."

"Ang-Tint Tribe and the Devi-Turp Clan? It's always been a mystery about the Angel and Devil Sides of Rainbow Falls," Oswald continued. "So, they must be the Wasteland inhabitants and truly born here. I wonder if Yen Sid is aware of this."

The cart then comes across a Dopey Statue without lips and an electric shocker.

"Dopey is a lover of whistling. Let's work together on this, Ozzie-san," said Mickey, painting in the lips.

"You got it, Mickers," said Oswald; he does the electric blast to make a whistle that sounds like the Heigh Ho Song from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The statue is shining down with indigo.

"Oh, I love this song. Heigh-Ho. Heigh-Ho. It's home to work we go!"

When Mickey begins to whistle, Oswald sings, "Heigh-Ho. Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, Heigh-ho."

"Heigh-Ho. Heigh-Ho. It's home to work we go," Mickey and Oswald sang before whistling.

"Ughh, men," Ortensia annoyed as they continued to sing and whistle.

"Tell me about it. What to do with their antics?" Gus added.

Ortensia, Tintley, and Turpley looked at him in confusion.

"Oswald, Mickey, should we find the last statue?" Gus asks.

"Yeah. The last one has to be Bashful. He's going to be hard to track down since he's an expert at hiding," said Mickey.

"You mean that statue up ahead?" Tintley pointed out the Bashful Statue scrubbing his back with a loofah.

"Bashful doesn't like being watched while taking a shower."

The Toonateers see a boulder clogging up the shower head and a thin-out shower curtain above the statue while all two are connected to the reprogramming machine.

"Ortensia and Mickey, looks like the three of us are going to work together," said Oswald, preparing his remote.

"Ladies, Ortensia. Haha," said Mickey.

"Alright," said Ortensia, turning her fist into a drill.

She stretches to the boulder to break it into rubble. Mickey then paints in the curtain before Oswald can reprogram it. It allows the water flow and the curtains to go down. Once a purple light shone down on the state, balloons, streamers, and confetti fell.

"Did we win?" Turpley asks.

"The Tints mentioned something about pressing a button after fixing the statues and will be able to get out of here," said Tintley.

When the cart stops, the Toonateers find themselves in front of the stage's closed curtains stage.

"Is it time for the show?" Mickey joked.

When the curtains open, BlotToons Mickey, Oswald, and Ortensia slide over to present themselves.

"You three again!" Mickey shouted, creating a ball of Thinner.

But BlotToon Mickey shows a halt hand signal to shove down his throat to take out the present. He points to it while BlotToon Oswald does the Scream face, and BlotToon Ortensia looks curious.

"My Birthday Present to Oswald! You better give it back or be Thinned to exitance."

But then three BlotToons begin doing Hop-Potato with the present.

"STOP IT! YOU'LL BREAK IT!"

Turpley laughed while everyone hid from Mickey's rage in fear, "Mickey, your anger makes me laugh."

BlotToon Oswald hops the present in both hands thrice before throwing the present into BlotToon Mickey's mouth like a basketball.

"Now, they're pushing my buttons!" Mickey was trying to get out of the cart.

But Oswald and Ortensia hold him back by the arms. The three BlotToons waved goodbye before an earthquake began to happen.

"And I thought we were done with the quakes," said Ortensia.

Gus looked down and said, "Um? I don't think that is a quake."

Rainbows spurt out from underneath the Toonateers' cart like a geyser. They all screamed as they went upward. The Three BlotToons, on the other hand, laughed at their misfortune before they pushed a button on the floor to open a cave door backstage. BlotToon Ortensia then takes out some popcorn, soda pops, and candy. BlotToon Oswald puts on an Evil Queen #1 shirt and foam finger with a poisoned apple. BlotToon Mickey then points to the exit to lead the way like a marching band leader. BlotToons Oswald and Ortensia follow him as a marching band would.
