Chapter 8: Take Back Mean Street

Once the Toonateers returned with the sleeping Snow White in Mickey's arms, the Toons cheered for their return.

"Well done, Toonateers. You freed Rainbow Caverns and rescued Princess Snow White," said Jamface.

"Is she alright? She looks like she ate another poisoned apple again," Clarabelle Cow asks.

"She passed out as soon as she got freed from her prison. Honestly, I'm always worried about the Disney Princesses. It's nerve-wracking. We need to give Snow White a bed," said Mickey.

"You heard my brother. Get the princess the best bed we got. I don't mean mine and my wife's!" Oswald claps his hands twice.

"Luckily, we prepared the beds for the 13 Disney Princesses in the guest bedroom. And labeled them with their names. Right this way," said Horace Horsecollar.

As Toonateers follows Horace, Daisy says, "So, when she wakes up, can I interview Snow White?"

"Absolutely not. She's been through so much. She needs to rest," said Ortensia.

"Yes, Ortensia."

When they arrived at the room, they found the 13 beds in the Disney Princesses' colors. Mickey goes to 1st bed with Snow White's name on the bed frame. Oswald uncovers it so he can lay Snow White on it. When Oswald tucks her in, Mickey touches her forehead in concern.

"Don't worry, Mickey. She'll be fine. I'm sure everyone will look after her," said Tintley.

"I just can't believe she was dragged into this craziness," Mickey said.

"Mickey, Oswald, and Ortensia, Mad Doctor wish to see you!" Goofy is coming over but slips and falls.

"Kay, Goofy," Oswald continued. "All lady characters but Ortensia and Tintley, keep an eye on Snow White."

Once the Toonateers leave, Clarabelle inspects Snow White with a magnifying glass.

Until Mickey poked his head out the door and said, "That means no inspecting her."

He leaves once Clarabelle stops. But Daisy whispered something to her camera Spatter.

Mickey pokes his head out again, saying, "Also, no secret interviews with her."

He leaves again, but Daisy is confused to say, "How did he hear that?"

"He's Mickey Mouse, and his ears are large, too," said Gilda.

But Mickey pokes out again to say, "And no challenging her to races as well. She's wearing heels."

"Mickey! Come on!" Oswald, Ortensia, Gus, Tintley, and Turpley said while their hands grabbed him by the collar, back, shorts and ears to pull him to finally leave.

"Okay, now I know that wasn't normal. How did he know I was thinking about that?" Gilda questioned.

Meanwhile, the Mad Doctor is typing on his computer, saying, "What is taking those Toonateers so long? I got to show them this soon."

The Toonateers arrive with Oswald carrying Mickey on his shoulder, saying, "We're here, Doc. Mickey was in Daddy Disney mode. You should've seen him."

"Ozzie-san, I treat every character that came after as my own, even if they are canonically older than more or antagonizing. And can you put me down?" said Mickey.

"Promise Big Bro that you won't run back to the Princess Suite?"

"I'm not a child."

"I'm not even sure how old you are either."

He puts Mickey down for the Mad Doctor to sing, "At last, you finally come. ["Uggh! Not again," Turpley annoyed.]

There's something I want to show. [The Mad Doctor offers a blueprint of a machine called the Guardian Extractor on the computer.]

The new weapon I installed on my Beetleworks will make the enemy dumb. [He then shows footage of his Beetleworks able to attract the Guardians from the BlotToons on Mean Street.]

And because of that, we got Mean Street back just for you now." [With the BlotToons gone, the characters in Mean Street could return and do some rebuilding.]

"He could've told us instead of singing it to us," said Turpley.

"He has a good voice, though. And brings out the pizazz on the news. Teehee," Tintley said.

"Nice work, Mad Doctor. I doubt they will be returning on Mean Street," Gus said.

"I like to see them try. Those Petes will have to think twice if they wish to have our turf," Mad Doctor crossed his arms.

"It's still confusing why they want to turn Wasteland into Peteland. I thought they loved it," said Oswald.

"Ozzie-san, they were our archenemy-bully. Why wouldn't they?" Mickey said.

"Yeah, but it feels like there's more meaning to it. And let's be honest. They are lovers of troublemaking."

"Couldn't say no to that, Mick. So, who's our next Disney Princess to save?"

"It has to be Cinderella. She's the second of the Disney Princesses to be made in history."

"I got her location. She's somewhere in Wonderland," said Mad Doctor, typing.

"Excellent. We even have the Projector for it, too," said Ortensia.

"Let's cheery on," Gus leading everyone to the throne.

"Does he drink tea with crumpets?" Turpley asks.

"What got you to say that?" Tintley questioned.

"His accent got me curious."

"Are you joking around?"

"I'm always joking around. But his voice somewhat reminds me of Papa Devi L."

"Oh. Do you think we'll ever find him and the others?"

"I don't know."
