I'll use another subplot that didn't go anywhere. Kate and Lily living in the Alderney house.
Shortly after the war against David Erics and things finally calmed down, weathered looking green 2008 Admiral car parks near the apartment down in Adernay, the 3rd and last island in Liberty City. From inside the car ''Five to One by Doors'' is heard playing just before he car shuts off having reached its location. Lily and Katie are the ones to exit out of it, Lily the driver, it was her car. ''Stupid old thing, only barely got us here.'' Lily growled, kicking the car gently. This implies Lily is also about 21. Kate is about 16/17, so there's some age difference, but not much. Especially compared to Carly and Johnny.
''Hey it got us here, you gotta be nicer to old Abby here.'' Kate said, referring to the car and patting it on the hood. ''Whatever, just get Jody.'' Lily said, wearing a blue t-shirt saying ''I HEART LC'', the words white, but the heart symbol pink. Her brown hair let down and straightened. Kate opens the back and out jumps a black lab, which jumps out with a bark, clearly excited to be out, even running up to a stranger walking by the apartment and jumps against them, it's actually really adorable. And the person not minding, though Lily still pulls him away.
''Jody, calm.'' Lily said, easily irritated from the long drive. Kate chuckles gently puts a leash on him, made of an old silver chain.
''Let's just go in, the dog is making me anxious.'' Lily said, grabbing a beer can out of the car. Kate pushing some of her white dyed brown hair behind her ear.
The girls reach inside, as they enter in they find a blue rug over the doorway, the rest of the floor is wood, the ceiling is grey and the walls have an old wallpaper that's rested and weathered. Definetly a clean up, but they can do that later. To the left side is a lone dinner table. There's a wall that seperates two sides. One side a couch and pullout bed, a small tv laying on a table, a chair next to the couch and if you keep walking your reach the kitchen, a door on the end that's the bathroom. The other side is a lone bed next to a lamp and window on the very end with large blinds currently closed, the bed changed to a queen bed from the orginal single bed. There is a radio in the apartment, which is tuned to K109 The Studio. Kate changes it to RadioBroker. Lily opens the window, not much of a view but least they got some sun and breeze in.
''Huh, not bad.'' Kate said, throwing a travel bag on the bed. Somewhere hidden in that bag is a small SW 32 Revolver. More for self defence, Kate and Lily aren't active criminals. It's really just Ariena in fact. Sachi just kinda becomes her relent accomplish.
''Your uncle really said we can have it?'' Lily asked. ''Yeah Niko sold it to me, he never used it anyway.'' Kate said, as she reopens the door and Jody runs in, jumping onto the bed and laying on it. Lily giggles and pats him, Kate going out and grabbing the rest of the luggage, they are officially moved in.
''You sure you didn't want to go say goodbye to your family?'' Lily asked, Kate nodes. ''You should really be nicer to them. My parents, especially my mother Jane disowned me for coming out to them. But yours support it. Even Trevor.'' Lily was confused.
"Yeah, my mom was real pissed at yours." Kate replied.
''Makes sense, In mean Mallorie adores me.'' Lily giggles.
'"She does. Anyway, it's not that I need to be nicer.. I'm just shy is all.'' Kate admitted.
''I know you are. And it's adorable.'' Lily said and kissed her cheek, Kate blushed.
"How did your aunt and uncle meet? Carly's a lot younger than Johnny is." Lily replied
"Yeah, but nobody looks at it that way.. So basically she was a runaway who got arrested. Says she doesn't remember why, but probably deserved it that time. She met Johnny as a cell mate, and they became friends. Eventually it became romantic after he realized Ashley wasn't gonna get the help she promised too, and even than, only when Carly was no longer a minor, so 20 years difference is less weird.. Carly said Ash was jealous and came in drunk trying to pick a fight, but Carly simply sat her down, told her Johnny didn't want her back as he was tired of watching Ash kill herself, and told her ''please, just get help".
"Sounds like the Carly I met." Lily giggled.
''Now come on, lets go test the shower.'' Lily said in a more kinky tone and pulled Kate by the arm towards the bathroom.
Ariena and Niko arrive outside what use to PlayBoyX's place, but now Niko used it as his and Dash's family home. The two exit from the elevator from the lobby to the apartment and find Dashelene snoring on the couch while a Fame or Shame rerun is on the TV. Niko knocks on the wall and she jumps up, pulling her beanie from over her eyes. "Oh, so you found Saraya." Dash groaned, referencing the British wrestler better known as Paige. Ariena always was based on her at least in appearance, back when Paige had the blue hair. I don't think she does anymore, but I'm probably wrong.
"And I see you're hungover again." Ariena groaned, Dash not replying just grabbing the whiskey bottle still on the coffee table next to couch, drinking it for the classic hair of the dog hangover treatment. "I am, so no noises." Dash groaned.
"Not staying, just getting my Sanshez keys, staying at Katie's with Emmett." Ariena groaned, in that stubborn teen way of speaking to one's parents. The two at least being on speaking terms though, so it's a start. She then digs around the key bowl, probably intentionally making the noise from it. "Ahh, hurry up then." Dash groaned, holding her forehead.
"And yes I heard about that.. I ain't gonna bail you out when they catch you there." Dash snarked, before another drink. Surprisingly the house hadn't changed that much sense 2008, it even had some of Playboy's old belongings, possibly out of guilt on Niko's end. The self portrait's of Playboy changed to some posters of beautiful space images, and there are some family photos around the bedroom, and the couch Dash was on was actually a pullout Ariena used growing up, Dash just not using it. Niko and Dash sharing the bedroom, which now has most of the photos.
Dash's side: Her and Sally as kids, Dash and Kate (placed with an old necklace Kate wore), Dash and Packie, Dash and Maureen McCreary, Dash holding baby Ariena with Niko next to them, 2 self portraits, Dash and Roman, Dash and Mallorie. Sally and Franklin. Dash and Blake. Derrick, Gerry.
Niko's side: Niko and Roman in Yugoslavia, Niko with Dash and Sally, Niko and Sally separately, Kid Niko and his mom, Roman and Mallorie together with Niko at their wedding (before the bad part), Dash and Niko at their own wedding. Dash and Niko with Dwayne Ford at Burger-shot for a night out, Niko together with his army friends.
Ariena's photo's found around the place: Ariena and Sachi, Ariena and Kate, Ariena and Lil Jacob, Ariena in school.
"I wouldn't expect you too." Ariena groaned, heading back out with the keys. Niko just sighs, and takes off hid trademark leatherjacket, still having a turtleneck underneath. Dash stumbles outside despite it being pouring rain. Too hungover to care. "You need to put more effort into her Dash."
"Hey she's talking to me isn't she." Dash groaned, throwing the empty bottle down the balcony, the smash heard from the ground below (you should never do that by the way, unless you wanna kill someone).
"I don't want you two ending up like Carly and Amanda." Niko admitted.
"I told you, we're talking again, it's a start." Dash repeated, walking back in. Niko sighs again, and he hears the shower turn on. Niko checks around on his phone. He still has uses the 2008 Badger cellphone.
