Chapter 25: The Governor of Menace
The Toonateers and the Sprite reach the tallest mountain in Neverland.
"Strange, there's usually an elevator that would take us to the top," said Gus.
"The Climate Crystal also powers everything besides giving the Neverland fair weather. Maybe it's stuck at the top," said Oswald.
"Is there another way to get to the top?" Mickey said.
"What about that geyser over there?" Tintley said, going to it.
"I don't know. It doesn't look safe," said Ortensia.
"But it's all we got to go up there."
"I suppose."
When the Toonateers and Sprite got on it, Turpley kicked it and said, "Work, water spring made of wind!"
Soon, vital water gushed out to launch them all to the top, and they landed safely on the soft grass.
"We made it. But where's the Climate Crystal?" Oswald said.
"Perhaps over there," said Mickey, pointing to a vast colorless crystal on a rock formation surrounded by four mirrors on each corner of the peak.
But each mirror has a different problem. One seems to be Thinner out, another has been deactivated, the third has a boulder blocking it, and the last one, Thinnerable junk, was blocking it.
"Well, that explains everything on Neverland," said Gus.
"Hello, can someone get me down?" Pete Pan said, dangling his pants on the Climate Crystal's top.
The three Generals then appeared behind the Crystal for BlotToon Mickey to say, "You know you could use the backstairs behind the mountain, right?"
"And get tired from walking up. No way," said Turpley.
"Well, most of us get tired from walking up. Some of us would rather fly," Oswald said suspiciously.
"Hehe."
"It's good cardio. At least it helps us from not looking so fat," said BlotToon Ortensia, fanning herself with her green fan.
Angered by that comment, Ortensia removes her sweater to show her stony drills.
"Hey, are you Generals going to get me down or not?" Pete Pan asks.
"Not until our BlotToon Ratcliffe takes care of the pest," said BlotToon Oswald before clapping his hands twice.
A platform shows up in front of the Climate Crystal for BlotToon Ratcliffe with a red leaf shows up along with Pocahontas's mirror prison.
"Now this is savage," Pocahontas showed herself.
"Pocahontas, we'll get you out there," said Mickey.
"Fire!" BlotToon Mickey shouted.
BlotToon Ratcliffe takes out a machine gun that looks like Percy to fire at the Toonateers and the Sprite.
"Hey, wait! Machine guns didn't exist in the 1600s," said Gus.
"Yeah, and aren't guns banned in Disney?" Mickey questioned.
"This is the 21st century. Villains from the past can use them nowadays. Plus, we are outside Disney's work. Anything could happen," said BlotToon Mickey.
When BlotToon Ratcliffe fires, Turpley makes a Thinner forcefield to disintegrate the amination.
"We need to activate the Climate Crystal if we're going to stop him," said Gus.
"Oswald, Ortensia, and I will take care of the mirrors. Everyone else, can you distract the Lieutenant?" Mickey asks.
"Yes, Mickey," said Tintley.
"Ozzie-san and Ortensia, let's get to work."
The Three Toonateers take out their weaponry as the others go over to BlotToon Ratcliffe. Mickey begins to paint in the mirror while Oswald and Ortensia get his back.
"Over here, false mustache," Gus getting the Boss's attention.
When he fires the bullets, Gus quickly disappears so that he misses. With the 1st mirror painted, it shines on the Climate Crystal, which blinded the Lieutenant, Pete Pan, and the Three Generals. It also made the snow melt away.
"You three Generals get me down or else!" Pete Pan shouted.
But the three Generals looked dizzy from the light before he said, "I'm humiliated."
Oswald uses his remote to activate the second mirror. BlotToon Ratcliffe sees the scene and prepares to fire. But Mickey fires Paint on him to prevent it.
Turpley grabbed BlotToon Ratcliffe's mustache to pluck and said, "Rattie McFattie! Eyes on me, stubby legs! Haha!"
Anger, he begins to shoot at Turpley while dodging and say, "You have bad aiming, bud!"
With the 2nd mirror on, it shined onto the Climate Crystal, causing the colored leaves to go green again.
"Good work, Oswald," Mickey said.
"Thanks, Mickey," he replied.
"Two more to go, boys," said Ortensia, drilling on the boulder blocking the 3rd mirror.
"You rat off on the cliff! Shoot the mouse and rabbit!" Pete Pan continued. "You degenerate Generals! Wake up! And when I get my hands on you, Sprite, you'll regret backstabbing me!"
The Three Generals remain dizzy from the blindness. With the 3rd mirror's reflecting free from the boulder, it shines on the Climate Crystal so the Summer Sun's heat can tone down a bit.
"One more left. Time to thin out some junk," said Mickey, preparing his Paintbrush.
But when the bullets narrowly missed him, he jumped into his half-older brother's arms, shouting, "Yipe!"
BlotToon Ratcliffe is laughing due to being tickled by Tintley and the Sprite.
"Hurry, Mickey!" Tintley said.
After jumping out of Oswald's arms, Mickey thins out the junk for the 4th mirror to reflect on the Climate Crystal. With the final mirror working, the Climate Crystal shined in multicolored light, making Neverland the right weather. But it made BlotToon Ratcliff explode, which released the Guardians and turned his red leaf Heart black. The Guardians came together to free Pocahontas and make her prison begone.
"Pocahontas, how are you?" Mickey said as the Toonateers went to her.
"Great, since you and your friends saved me," she responds.
"Hey, Pete Pan getting away," said Gus, seeing Pete Pan freeing himself and landing close to the Climate Crystal.
But he screamed before showing an animatronic version of Pluto biting his butt. Animatronic Pluto is missing fur on his paws, a robotic neck is shown, and his tail has an antenna. He then goes into a fight cloud to continue to fight Pete Pan as he screams.
"Pluto?" Mickey said.
"Animatronic Pluto! You're alive. So, you have been here this whole time," said Oswald happily.
"You made a robot version of my dog?"
"I always want a dog and play with him too."
Pete Pan is covered in bite marks, scratches, and his clothes are tattered. Animatronic Pluto stands on top of him heroically.
He then barked happily as he ran to Mickey and Oswald and licked their faces after pouncing on them. They both laugh as they hug the robotic pooch. Everyone watched in awe while Pete Pan was out cold. The Three Generals regain consciousness so BlotToon Ortensia can pick up the black leaf Heart and put it in her suitcase. They quietly and quickly ran off without detection. They ran down the backstairs in a hurry.
"How will we tell Big Bag Pete and Petetronic about Pete Pan?" BlotToon Ortensia.
"There was a dog attack," BlotToon Mickey said.
"Good explanation."
When they reach the end, BlotToon Oswald blurts out, "Can BlotToons reproduce?"
"Eh?" BlotToon Mickey, confused.
"Huh?" BlotToon Oswald blushed.
"Oops! Just talking to myself. Let's get going," said BlotToon Oswald, walking off.
Both BlotToon Mickey and BlotToon Ortensia looked at each other in confusion.
