Chapter 26: Pete Pan's Plea
The Toonateers, the Sprite, Pocahontas, and Animatronic Pluto holding Pete Pan in his mouth came to Dark Beauty Castle through the Projector Return to Never Land 2002. The Toon cheered for their return.
"Gremlins!" Oswald clapped his hand twice for them to arrive. "Take Pete Pan to the Royal Dungeon for integration."
The Gremlins picked up Pete Pan and flew off to the Dungeon.
"Pocahontas, do you remember anything during your capture?" Ortensia asks.
She said, "Hmm…I did see some weird machinery holding some little flying creatures. And then it put a blue one and a green one into a heart before placing it into the ink monsters."
"One Tint and one Turp to make a BlotToon Heart? Interesting," said Gus.
"But the Lieutenants that we've been facing have tons of Tint and Turp Guardians in their Hearts, which released allows the Disney Princesses to be free from the mirror prison and make the prison gone. Perhaps the Lieutenants are some key to their freedom," Mickey said.
"Pocahontas, there's a Princess Suite for you and the other Princesses to stay at until we get you home. Clarabelle, can you escort her?" Oswald said.
"Of course. Follow me, Your Natureness," said Clarabelle, leading Pocahontas.
Animatronic Pluto then nuzzles his head onto Mickey and Oswald before they hug him.
"I still can't believe you're still here. I'm sorry I didn't try to look for you. Can you forgive me, Pluto?" Oswald asks.
After the animatronic dog licks his face, he continues, "I'll take that as a yes. I wonder if Animatronic Minnie is still out there?"
"What?" Mickey said.
"Come again?" Ortensia added.
"Oh, it's nothing. Anyway, according to my remote, the Disney Princess Mulan is at Fort Wasteland," Oswald respond.
"How off that the Cave of Wonders goes through Bog Easy while Fort Wasteland is through Ventureland now," Mickey commented.
"Either that or the writer wants to give the proper location for every captured Princess that matches their image."
Jamface showed up and said, "Toonateers, we got some intel from Pete Pan. Come on, then."
Small Pete is in a cell in the Dungeon as he watches Pete Pan hang above a pit with the Animatronic Tic-Toc Crock in it.
The Toonateers arrive for Turpley to say, "Haha. My kind of way to get answers."
"How can you see people suffering as enjoyable?" Tintley questioned.
"No, Tintley. I like to see my enemies tortured."
"You want info, so I won't end up as Crock food? I'll give it to you," Pete Pan continued. "I mostly make sure the BlotToons are ready for battle. Since we drained every last of the Shadow BlotToon, we have to create more from the Paint Crystals and Thinner Crystals. The latest creations from the Shadow Blot were the three Generals: BlotToons Mickey, Oswald, and Ortensia."
"But that still doesn't make sense why you made your army look like everyone in Wasteland, including me," said Mickey.
"I don't know. It was Big Bad Pete's idea. Maybe it was some sort of advantage like fighting fire with fire."
"As in, fight Toon with a Toon," Tintley asks.
"Something like."
"I get it. If you make a copy of your enemy, that copy will instantly figure out the real one's weaknesses and strengths," said Turpley.
"No wonder my BlotToon Counterpart always outsmarts me," Mickey arms-crossed in annoyance.
"At least we are peaceful towards the Beetleworks and Blotlings now," said Oswald.
Hearing this, Tintley and Turpley begin to see another memory. They were still on the Heart-shaped Island. They are doing experiments on Paint and Thinner in a laboratory with machines and chemical equipment. They continue to make objects and animals from Paint and Thinner. They have a chemistry set on each of the three tables. One has Paint, another has Thinner, and the last set between them connects them.
"Hmm, if only we could make something that's not blue or green. I want to see different colors. But so far, we keep getting turquoise, cerulean, teal, cyan, and any other colors between green and blue," said Tintley, looking at the row of sample tubes in the middle set.
"Luckily, we have a color chart to try and make some. So far, the ones with bluer flare can heal and color in anything inert and broken. And the others with more green can damage and erase anything painted," said Turpley, looking at a color wheel on the wall.
"According to color knowledge, green is made from blue and yellow. What if we extract them both from the Thinner and see what happens?"
"It's worth a try."
Together, Tintley and Turpley use the chemistry Thinner set to begin extraction. They soon see it separate into blue and yellow while both liquid color goes through a process before entering two different test tubes. Due to this, Invisible Ink and Indelible Ink were created.
"It worked? It worked! Mother Angel and Papa, come quick," said Turpley.
"What is it, Turpley?" Papa Devi L arrives with Mother Angel.
"We just separated Thinner into two different colors."
"Incredible."
Tintley then used a pipe to collect some and said, "They both look like they have an inky texture. Time for the effect test."
Turpley takes out two flowers in pots. After placing them on a table, everyone watched while Tintley put a single drop with different samples and flowers. One flower disappeared with clear blue, and the other is coated with a golden shell. They were amazed by the result.
Mother Angel writes down in the Arts of Paint and Thinner Book while, as Tintley said, "Blue-Thinner makes anything it touches invisible but slippery enough to make it come off during fast movement. As for Yellow-Thinner makes anything that contacts coated in solid gold, thus using it as a protective shell like a lobster plus can come off in fast movement."
"Keep at it, Tintley and Turpley. I'm beginning to lose my thought on mixing Paint and Thinner as a bad thing," said Mother Angel.
"But what is your achievement exactly?" Papa Devi L asks.
"Personal, I want to break the barrier of the boundaries and limits within Paint and Thinner. Just like what happened now," said Turpley.
"Seeing the beauty and knowledge behind Paint and Thinner is part of my goal," Tintley continued. "But if we can make something out of Paint and Thinner is astonishing to the Toons, we might have peace with them."
Their memory ends with Oswald saying, "Let's get Fort Wasteland to save Disney Princess Mulan."
"What about the Sprite and Animatronic Pluto?" Mickey said.
"They can stay here and guard the Petes."
Once Pete Pan is thrown in a cell next to Small Pete, the Toonateers walk off.
"This all your fault! I wouldn't have ended up here if you didn't surrender," said Pete Pan.
Small Pete replies, "Surrender? I didn't surrender. The Gremlins prevented me from escaping, and I got captured. Those Three Generals didn't even try to help me."
"Eh? The Three Generals said you surrender to the enemy. Now, come to think of it. They didn't try to help me escape either. Did they abandon us?"
"If so, could they betray the other Petes too?"
Then they both said, "Uh-oh. We have been flimflammed this whole time."
At the Heart-Shape Island, Big Bad Pete looks mad at the three Generals while Petetronic is working on some machinery that looks like a satellite dish, and chained Prescott works on some doorway connected to it along with Toon Heart Power Orb.
"So, Pete Pan got himself in a dog attack which let him get captured along with his Sprite stabbing him in the back. But where were you three at?!" Big Bad Pete said.
"Blinded by the light from the Climate Crystal," said BlotToon Mickey.
"How can you get blind when you neither of you three Generals? You don't even have green eyes like the other BlotToons. They match the eyes of your Toon Counterparts. I can't tell if I'm looking at you in the eyes."
"Technically, you are looking at us underneath our eyes," BlotToon Oswald said.
"Hmm…Keep up the stalling. Those Heart Pendants are so slow at making. Even though the Book mentioned it, I thought getting the purest of Heart Essences would make things go faster."
"Big Bad Pete, what are they working on?" said BlotToon Ortensia.
"This is the device we used to capture the Disney Princesses. Do you know how so many leaks in the sky lead into the Real World? Prescott kindly found a certain leak close to this island. And with his science magic, he got the machine connected to it. But enough of that and get to work."
"Yes, Big Bad Pete," the three Generals said.
But as they leave, BlotToon Oswald turns back and says, "Big Bad Pete, can BlotToons reproduce?"
"Wha?" Big Bad Pete was confused, while Petetronic and Prescott were surprised.
"This again?" said BlotToon Mickey while BlotToon Ortensia blushed.
"Uh? Prescott?"
"According to these equations, highly unlikely," said Prescott.
"That's your answer. Now go!"
BlotToon Oswald looked angry before walking off with BlotToon Mickey and BlotToon Ortensia behind him.
"What got him into saying that?" said Peteronic.
"Who knows? He's a freak like the real Oswald," Big Bad Pete answered.
