Chapter 28: Battle Of The Hun

The Toonateers find themselves inside the Palace battleground, like in Kingdom Hearts 2, while still caged.

"Those Generals of creatines! They are like our inner demons or our dark side! If Disney didn't ban guns in Toon Production, I outta shoot that BlotToon Mickey!" Mickey shouted.

Then Tintley said while eating some of the cage, "Again, with the violence. Everyone, but me, is eager to do it."

"Tintley? Are you eating the cage?"

"I got hungry from all anxiety."

"Keep eating, Tintley. You might get us out of here," said Turpley.

"Okay."

Tintley ate so quickly that it made the entire cage go under 10 seconds.

"You must've been exhausted, Tintley," said Gus.

"Of course I was. Mickey's present, and Oswald and Ortensia's child was on the line," said Tintley.

After the Toonateers heard laughter, they looked to find Petetronic riding on a floating Tomorrowland rocket car.

"Well, isn't that nice? The Toonateers here to rescue a Disney Princess," he said.

"Petetronic!" Mickey exclaimed.

"I'm going to get you back for slamming that door on me 22 years ago!" Oswald yelled.

"Oh, that reminds me. Thanks for the scrap metal you gave me. It helped with our Grand Plan," said Petetronic.

"What?!" Mickey, Oswald, and Gus were shocked.

"Ugh, men," Ortensia annoyed.

"As much as I want to see you receive your "prize," I have things to do," said Petetronic before flying away.

The three Generals soon arrived in their Chinese New Year's attire while on a stage float with Mulan's mirror prison. BlotToon Mickey is holding Mickey's present. BlotToon Oswald is rocking Oswald Jr., the 101st, in his arms. BlotToon Ortensia is hiding her smirking smile with her green fan.

"Mickey Mouse? Is that you down there?" Mulan asks.

"Mulan," Mickey exclaimed.

"So, Toonateers. Are you ready to have your B.O.T.H. prize?" BlotToon Mickey said.

"What exactly is the both prize?"

"Not both, Mouse. It' B.O.T.H, which stands for…BATTLE OF THE HUN!"

"Excuse me?"

Soon, BlotToon Shan Yu, with a red Mulan's Hair Accessory for a Heart, arrives as he holds the Sword of Shan Yu. Frightened by the sight of him, Tintley hides behind Mickey.

"Seriously, are all of the BlotToons fat and ugly?" Turpley is standing his ground.

"Ugly?! Who are you calling ugly?!" BlotToon Oswald offended.

"And fat?! We BlotToons don't even eat or sleep!" BlotToon Ortensia yelled.

"No wonder you are always cranky and have bad attitudes," said Tintley.

"Okay, you know what? BlotToon Shan Yu, rip out their Hearts!" BlotToon Mickey commanded.

Quickly, the Toonateers dodge BlotToon Shan Yu's slashes to hide behind a pillar.

"Mickers, you're the Disney Icon. How do we defeat Sam Voo?" Oswald asks.

"It's Shan Yu, Ozzie-san. And we're going to defeat him like in the movie, with fireworks," said Mickey.

"Well, too bad we couldn't make the Fireworks Sketches back in Neverland."

"Where are we going to get fireworks?"

"Look! Firework canons!" Gus saw four towers at each corner of the Palace and one with a canon load with fireworks.

When BlotToon Shan Yu slashes the pillar, Mickey says, "You guys get to the cannons to prepare to fire. I'll keep him distracted."

"Good luck and be careful, Mickey. Move out, everyone," said Oswald.

As the others go over to the towers, Mickey wields his Paintbrush like a sword to fight BlotToon Shan Yu. Oswald runs to the first tower, Ortensia goes to the 2nd, Gus flies over to the 3rd tower, and Tintley and Turpley head to the last building. However, the three Generals notice them going to the towers.

"Should we do something about this?" BlotToon Ortensia asks.

"Then how else will we get BlotToon Show Moo's Heart?" BlotToon Oswald said.

"It's pounce, Shan Yu. And you were practicing speaking Chinese too. Speaking of Chinese, I brought some Chinese food to this bento. I got dumplings, fried rice, Xiaolongbao, Mapo tofu, and chow mein."

"But BlotToons don't need to eat, right?"

While BlotToon Mickey takes out the bento box and opens it to show the food, he continues, "Yeah, but can we at least try some?"

"Fine then."

"But what about Mickey's present?" BlotToon Ortensia asks.

"I'll save it for me for dessert," BlotToon Mickey responds.

The three Generals ate the food and were dazzled by the taste. Meanwhile, Oswald, Ortensia, Gus, Tintley, and Turpley spin the canons toward the center of the battlefield.

"Mickers, we're ready to fire," Oswald shouted.

"Okay, Oswald. Take that!" Mickey said while using his Spin Move on BlotToon Shan Yu so he'll move to the center.

Then he ran off while screaming, "Now!"

His teammate soon fired the fireworks at the Lieutenant. BlotToon Shan Yu soon exploded into Guardians and his now black Mulan's Hair Accessory Heart. Mickey's teammates return to him while the Guardians free Mulan and make her prison disappear. Mulan floated gently down to the ground.

"You did it. You saved me. I'm eternally grateful to you all," said Mulan, bowing before the Toonateers.

In gratitude, the Toonateers bow towards her. But outside, the Pirates were confused about why the Palace was quiet. They soon spotted the Toonateers and Mulan on top of the entrance.

"The Palace is ours!" Oswald exclaimed.

The Pirates cheered in victory.

"Wait! Oswald Jr. the 101st!" Ortensia said.

"My baby girl! We better get to the Generals and-," said Oswald.

"They're gone," said Tintley, seeing them not on their stage.

"Oh, darn!" Mickey yelled in frustration which startled Mulan.

But the Bunny Child hopped over and jumped into Oswald's arms.

"Oh, precious little princess. Thank goodness you're safe," said Oswald before he and Ortensia kissed their child.

The three Generals far from the Forts get away on a speed boat as their Chinese New Year's clothes fly off.

"I can't believe that Bunny Child bit my finger to go back to their Mom and Dad," BlotToon Oswald said grumpily with arms crossed.

"Eh, I wasn't kin to keeping it anyway. At least we got that hair comb Heart," said BlotToon Ortensia, the black BlotToon Shan Yu's Heart in the suitcase.

"Five Hearts until we can get rid of the Petes," said BlotToon Mickey.

"But we each need four Hearts. What will we do with the extra one?"

"The last one might be of use to us somehow."
