Chapter 29: No Doubt at OsTown

The Toonateers and Mulan arrive at Dark Beauty Castle with the other rescued Disney Princesses waiting for them.

"Mulan! You're back. You're ok. Thank goodness. We were so worried about you. I'm glad you're safe. You won't believe where we are," said the other Disney Princesses as they hugged her.

"I never thought I would go through something like that," Mulan continued. "Oh, Mickey. If you and your team want to know, I remember seeing certain machinery that can be loaded with the D.N.A. of the Toons so the ink monsters can come together."

"So, our D.N.A. used to bring our BlotToon Counterparts to be. Of course, Petetronic participated in the Doctor Department," Oswald said.

"Yes, but how did he get the D.N.A. of the Disney Villains and me?" Mickey asks.

"You always come over to Wasteland like every day," said Ortensia while her husband let their child run off.

"Oh, yeah."

"Maybe they used the same machine to capture the Disney Princesses to get their D.N.A.," said Gus.

When Oswald's remote begins to ring, he pushes a button to show a monitor with the Mad Doctor on it.

On it, he sang, " Toonateers, my friends, the Toonateers. [The Toonateers gathered around him to hear.]

I'm at OsTown. You got to come over here. [But Turpley, annoyed by the Mad Doctor's singing, picks up a bucket to cover himself not to listen.]

My Beetleworks got all hub-worlds back [Mickey, Oswald, and Ortensia were happy to hear that.]

Your next Disney Princess is at Disney Gulch [Upon hearing gulch, Turpley came out of his bucket in curiosity.]

That leaves five more to save, not that much…" [Mickey takes out a calculator to do some math and nods in agreement when he is done.]

But then he stopped singing and said, "Uh…Yeah. It's hard to rhyme gulch. Just come to OsTown to get to Disney Gulch."

"Gulch? Do you mean a place for cowboys and outlaws is everywhere? I love Western Action. Yeehaw," said Turpley.

"I guess, but it's mostly like a junkyard. As time when by, we improved to make it look like it's out of a Western picture," said Oswald.

"Let's go ahead to OsTown. You Disney Princesses stay safe," said Gus.

"We will. Good luck," said Disney Princesses before the Toonateers left.

At the Heart-Shape Island, the three Generals arrived with captured Guardians in containment units. Big Bad Pete and Petetronic spotted this and were impressed.

"Ah, so you show your usefulness in getting more Guardians for our BlotToon army," said Big Bad Pete.

"Well, it's easier to gather than high-tech butterfly nets," said BlotToon Mickey.

"Oh? How did you do it?" Petetronic asks.

"It's a secret, but it works like a charm. Let's just say Guardians are easily attracted to anything that makes noise."

"That Guardian Garden in Disney Gulch is given us plenty," said BlotToon Oswald.

"Alright. Keep at it," said Big Bad Pete before he and Petetronic left.

"You got it, gentlemen," BlotToon Ortensia smiled.

However, the three Generals' ears twitch when they hear something. They go deeper into the woods toward the island's heart. At it, they find an actual black heart implanted into the ground, and it's as big as Mickey's Heart when the Blot used it during Epic Mickey. It beats as any other Heart would. The three Generals smiled before their eyes glowed in their counterparts' colors: red, blue, and green to communicate with it.

"You called…" BlotToon Mickey continued. "10 Hearts of the Darkest Heart essences are collected. Thank you for allowing us to each have four."

Then BlotToon Oswald added, "It's kinda odd that you only need one along with the four Purest Heart Essences. But if it's the only way for you to get free, I won't argue."

And BlotToon Ortensia said, "Don't worry. Those Guardian Fairies haven't gained contact with his Paintbrush yet. It won't be long until Wasteland, the Cartoon World, and the Real World will collapse into black, white, and gray. And the cherry on top is chaos."

After their eyes stop glowing, they leave the Black Heart as it stops beating.

"I can still remember the day we found it," said BlotToon Mickey.

"On the day we were created. Luckily, the Petes are dumb enough not to scout more of the island," said BlotToon Oswald.

"As much as I want to explore more right now. We need more Guardians for 'our' plan. Hehe," said BlotToon Ortensia.

At OsTown, the Toonateers arrive as its inhabitants mind their business.

Mickey commented, "I see you expanded a bit. You got Minnie's Bowtique, Daisy's Shoe Emporium, Clarabelle's Flower shop, and Donald's Haircuts."

"You gave some much info about ToonTown. I tried my best," said Oswald.

"Aw, look. Your brothers' statue is still here," said Ortensia, seeing the Mickey-Oswald statue.

"You two are so brotherly," Turpley commented.

"But it's sweet and adorable," Tintley added.

"We're not adorable," Mickey and Oswald embarrassed.

The Mad Doctor came out of the Gag Factory along with Animatronic Goofy.

"Ah, Toonateers. We're glad you're here. I got the D.E.C. for Disney Gulch up here," said the Mad Doctor.

"And while we cleaned up the place, I found Prescott's Diary. There's something you need to read, Gus," said Animatronic Goofy, handing him a book.

As Gus reads it, he begins to feel upset.

"We should give him time," said Mickey; lets everyone else give him space.

"Anyway, we got some of the boys to collect some Invisible Ink and Indelible Ink while going through the Rainbow Caverns and OsTown. I was thinking of using it to our advantage in the Beetleworks," said Animatronic Goofy.

"So, that's what is calling them. I prefer Inviso-Ink and Ink Coating," said Tintley.

"What do you mean by that?" Ortensia asks.

"Turpley and I made them."

"You two made the ink?! How?" Oswald interested.

"We just separated the yellow and blue color priorities from the Thinner," said Turpley.

"That's possible? I wish I came up with that," said the Mad Doctor.

"But why?" Mickey asks.

"We try to uncover the secrets of Paint and Thinner," said Turpley.

"Clever. Hey, Gus! Ya ready?"

Gus soon came over while he calmed down and said, "I'm ready."

"Don't worry. We'll get Prescott, somehow."

"I know."

The Toonateers start going to the D.E.C. as the Mad Doctor and Animatronic Goofy wave goodbye. Clarabelle is passing by them while moving a cart of flowers.

"Shouldn't Clarabelle be Horace's assistance?" Animatronic Goofy asks.

"She's probably on her day off," the Mad Doctor suggested.
