Chapter 31: The Shadow Man Showdown
On the Voodoo Choo-Choo's engine roof, BlotToon Ortensia plays the fiddle and the song "Turkey in the Straw." BlotToons Mickey and Oswald do "Cotton-a-Joe" together.
Petetronic, on his Tomorrowland rocket car, arrived and said, "Well, look at this! I've never seen a Guardian Round-up with a huge hall like this. If you three keep this up, your breaks will 2 hours long."
"Tweren't nothing, Peteronic," BlotToon Mickey answered.
"I like to see them Toonateers get this back."
"Don't look now, Petetronic. Cause here they come on an anthropomorphic train," said BlotToon Oswald, seeing Casey Jr. on a different track coming up with the Toonateers' on his roof.
"Well, don't just stand there. Get rid of them!"
Petetronic then leaves when Casey Jr. catches up with the Voodoo Choo-Choo.
"Give us a boost, Casey Jr," Mickey said.
"You got it, Mickey," Casey Jr whistled.
Casey Jr. makes his hood flop to launch the Toonateers toward the Voodoo Choo-Choo. The heroes landed on the roof to face the three Generals.
"Oh, good. We thought our round-up would be dull and hot due to this heat," said BlotToon Ortensia, taking out her green fan and fanning herself.
"You want this back, Mickey?" BlotToon Mickey said, taking out Mickey's Birthday Present for Oswald.
"What do you think?!" Mickey said, taking out his Paintbrush.
"How about we make a deal for it?"
"A deal?"
"Yes. We will trade this present for the Guardian Fairies," BlotToon Oswald said.
"What?! No deal! No matter how desperate I want to open it, I'll never trade it with our friends," said Oswald, protecting Tintley and Turpley.
"How about we add a Disney Princess for them?"
BlotToon Oswald claps his hands for Tiana's mirror prison to come out of a hatch.
"Mickey? Mickey!" she called within her prison.
"You drive a hard bargain, but I wish to fight for her and the present," said Mickey.
"Alright then. Come out, Dr," BlotToon Mickey commanded.
Beside Tiana's mirror prison is BlotToon Dr. Facilier with a red lily pad flower for a heart.
"Dr. Shadow Man, show them what you can do," said BlotToon Oswald.
By throwing a smoke bomb, the Toonateers closed their eyes and coughed. But when they open their eyes, they find themselves in a different dimension, similar to Dr. Facilier's during his song "Friends on the Other Side."
"I had nightmares about this place, and Oswald was with me," Mickey commented.
But the Toonateers looked to see themselves surrounded by copies of BlotToon Dr. Facilier.
"We're surrounded," Ortensia said.
"What do we do?" Gus said.
"This has to be some illusion. I'm thin it away," said Turpley, beginning to create a Thinner Tornado.
"Over here, everyone," said Tintley, making a Paint Forefield to protect them from the Thinner.
The Thinner Tornado made the copies disappear and the illusion gone. But the real BlotToon Dr. Facilier grabs Mickey by the neck and points his cane at his face.
"Mickers!" Oswald shouted.
"You Turp Fairy Turd! Look what you've done! We're floating in mid-air!" BlotToon Ortensia shouted.
Everyone looked around and noticed that the Voodoo Choo-Choo was up in the air while Casey Jr. was still on the tracks in concern.
"This is going to hurt," Gus said before everyone started falling.
As they all fall, the three Generals' costumes come off, which makes them cross-armed and annoyed.
When the Toonateers but Mickey starts to fly, Mickey yells, "Why can't I fly?!"
His Paintbrush on his back created beautiful angelic wings that were the color of his pants while it glowed into the color of his shoes.
"Mickey, you've grown wings," said Tintley.
"Wow! It's the Paintbrush grants me everything I need. Thank you, Paintbrush," said Mickey, turning his back to show the Paintbrush.
"I'm still convinced that it has a mind of its own," said Turpley.
"Quickly, we need to catch Tiana's prison before it hits the ground," said Oswald.
"Leave it to Tintley and me."
Both Guardian Fairies whistled, and all the Guardians escaped their prison to catch Tiana's prison. But the Voodoo Choo-Choo and BlotToon Dr. Facilier landed and exploded from the impact.
"Like an action movie! This is Epic!" Turpley commented.
"Mickey, aren't you concerned about the present?" Tintley asks innocently.
"GAAAAAAHHHHH!" Mickey shouted in a fit when the Toonateers got onto Casey Jr's roof.
Tiana is seen floating down to join them and says, "You were heroic back there, Mickey. I'm truly grateful for you and your friends."
But when she noticed Mickey slamming his face on the roof in anger, continuous.
"Uh? Did I come in a bad time?" Tiana is concerned while Oswald and Ortensia try to get his brother to stop.
But three Generals showed themselves, flying. Unlike Mickey, BlotToon Mickey is floating with his bottom half as a ghostly apparition.
"For once, I'm glad to see you," said Mickey, stopping hurting his face.
"Oh? Are you ready to dump Minnie for me? Well, to let you know. I like horror movies, dead flowers, and dark chocolate," BlotToon Mickey teased.
"YOU ARE SICK IN THE HEAD!"
"But you and your team are more ill-minded. We've spent days making the Voodoo Choo-Choo. As punishment, I'll swallow your present."
Once BlotToon Mickey swallows the present, Mickey faceplants which scare Tiana into saying, "Mickey, are you okay?!"
"Luckily, this was all left of BlotToon Dr. Facilier," said BlotToon Ortensia, showing the black lily pad flower heart.
The sight of it made Tiana and Ortensia faint, but Mickey and Oswald caught them as Turpley covered Tintley's eyes, and Gus tried to hold up his vomit.
"Oh, gross! Why would you show us that?!" Oswald shouted.
"Payback for ruining our favorite train. Well, see you later on the next location," said BlotToon Oswald before the three Generals flew away.
"Casey Jr, take us back to the Guardian Oasis Garden," said Mickey.
"You got it," he whistled.
