A/N: And here is the second half of the chapter. It's a fairly big one and I do hope you will enjoy it. Some minor drama, some brotherly talks and something in the end...I won't spoil anything! Thank you to all who are following this story and keep reading it.

I do not own the manhwa "Nobleese" just this story and my OCs.

Chapter 18: Changing the "waiting game"

Dinner was served.

As they were all seated accordingly, with Sara right opposite of Frankenstein so he could oversee her moves, the dinner was served without any incident.

Since the incident with Seira, the first night she and Karias appeared in Frankenstein's house, Sara learned to play nice with the others Nobles, especially after some expertly convincing from a certain scythe caring Noble. At the sight of it Sara had taken a step back and promised not to invade their emotions anymore. At least not unintentionally since with the help of Frankenstein she was getting better at her control.

And speaking of which…

"Sara, I made the right arrangements for your legal papers and your degree as English teacher"

"Wait I was working the past few days without any official credentials?" she asked in a slightly terrified manner "What would have happened if a school inspector was to come by and check me?"

"Don't worry, I already know when they are going to have their 'surprising' visits for the whole year. I wouldn't take any chances. For now I have heard no complaint from any student, parent or professor. If you are good at it, I might give you more classes"

"Why more classes? I thought this position was only temporary so I wouldn't stay alone at home all the time and for extra protection of the school?"

"Yes, indeed but I have you for the whole semester. And I expect you to be proper"

"We talked about it Frankenstein, I help you to find your Master as a…-"

"Now, now people don't get carried away on the table" Karias said suggestively while looking at Sara "There will be time during after dinner"

"Huh" Sara returned to her food. It was delicious.

Minutes passed and someone could not contain himself "Sooo…any progress?" he asked sounding innocent. He wasn't though. That smile of his that he had plastered on since he came back with Bart and Sara was very sinister.

Signs and clatters of the cutlery on plates were heard. 'So much for the peaceful dinner' thought Frankenstein.

Takeo answered "Tao really? Right now?"

"What? Sara said to ask Boss since she was already preoccupied hugging Bart"

"Tao! That was…I was not hugging him! You weirdo!"

"Alright children" said Frankenstein who saw that miss Seira remained stoic and continued eating and for a fragment of a moment there, he wished that the others would be a little more like her.

"We will have a brief talk since we rarely are all meeting at the same time nowadays. We are doing a slow but steady progress. Quite frankly I'd say that it is a matter of days until we are able to connect with the in a larger scale around the world and then…probably Sara and I are going to go to the base where Haji is" he said as he continued cutting his meat.

"Ah…so she would be able to connect with the big computer huh? By the way boss when are you going to take me there too? I want to see it for myself" asked Tao trying to contain his enthusiasm.

"I don't know if it is possible to do this at this particular time but don't worry I won't forget to see to it – especially since you keep bugging me for it every three hours"

"And in how long do you think she will be able to detect them?"

"Huh at this rate…probably in a week or less"

Even though Frankenstein said it with mild to none excitement he knew that those statements gave everyone a new hope.

Well, almost everyone.

"Wait a minute Frankenstein" said Sara as the clutter of her cutlery was heard "What makes you think I will be able to detect so many people in a matter of a few days?"

The table went silent.

"What?" said Frankenstein with a somewhat dumbfounded expression. Did he really hear that?

"Ermm…Sara" an awkward smile formed in Takeo's lips as he tried to make sense mostly for the sake of the smooth sailing of the conversation "what do you mean when you say 'so many people'?"

"Well Frankenstein said back when I met him that you guys were trying to find some people including his master. And we established that somebody have taken them so…I reasoned that they took them for experiments"

"You mean like the Union abducted your tribe?"

"Yes"

Frankenstein was watching her as she was talking and was trying to understand why she was looking angsty about her wrong conclusions…And speaking of conclusions…

"So how many people did you think we were looking for?"

"I guessed 20-30 people give or take…Mostly Nobles?"

Some of the people at the table looked surprised. Seira was listening but decided not to stop eating albeit with grace.

Bart with a hand on his forehead asked how nobody got to explain to her exactly how many they were searching for.

"Well, I thought that Frankenstein told her the details" said Tao defensively.

Apparently the one side thought the other had informed her about that little "detail".

"Apparently Frankenstein you were so obsessed with finding your Master, that you failed to even mention the Lord…how nice" said Karias with a somewhat sour expression.

"Oh please Karias. You know that I am anything but nice" came a rather stoic answer that gave off an undertone of teasing.

At that point Seira stopped eating and asked if anyone would eventually say how many people they were looking for, to Sara.

Sara was grateful for her interference.

"Sara" started Frankenstein "the people we're are trying to find are only three"

Sara got still, her surprise evident on her face "Only three?"

"Yes. You don't need to worry about finding so many people all at once"

"So I just have to find three Nobles…right?" she said in an unsure voice.

"Actually two Nobles and a werewolf" said Karias.

"Oh…Okay so three people…"

"If it is any help one of the Nobles is a woman. Our precious Lord of Nobles" said Karias with a hint of emotion in his voice.

"Really? A woman? The Lord of Nobles huh?"

"Wow, we really kept you in the dark, didn't we?" Bart figured.

"Yeah you did… Well given the distrust, the robot attack and all, i kind of understand how we came to this…So that means that I will be able to find them soon and if your suspicion about them all being…in one place is right…"

"Then if you follow the energy trace of my Master it will be enough"

"Wait how are you convinced that they are all together?" Asked Tao and couldn't help but to agree to that.

"My Master told me"

The silence that dominated the table at that moment, was heavier than ever. Frankenstein decided to start speaking before he was about to get bombarded with questions.

"Lately I have been hearing him talking. Sometimes he just calls my name, once or twice he asks where I am or where he is…it started about three to four weeks ago…it used to be very sporadic until yesterday, after a session with Sara"

Everyone was looking at him expecting more.

"I had stayed in the laboratory up until 4 a.m. and then it was like I was send into the bond. He told me…"

'I'm here"

"Where Master? Tell me"

'I'm here, Muzaka, Raskreia…are here… with me...I feel them...you are alright?"

"Yes my Master, please tell me where you are…"

"I tried to sustain the bond but then the connection disappeared. Just like before. Just like when he first went missing. Since then, nothing"

"And when were you planning to tell us?" Karias' somewhat judgmental voice was heard "Did you even thought to inform Gejuntel? Or were you planning to keep it a surprise?"

"I was going to tell you after dinner" Frankenstein was a little disarmed from the sudden change of Karias' attitude and tone. The real damage done was beginning to show and he had a very good idea why…Raskrea…He loved her like a sister.

"Karias, I had to be sure that it was actually him and not some kind of delusion. I replayed it in my mind a thousand times before being sure that it was real. Think if I was wrong and gave you false hope. I would never do anything like that to you"

Silence conquered the table once more – save of the occasional clutter of cutlery as some people retrieved them and resumed to eating their dinner. Bart was watching how Sara was nibbling her bread and looked very skeptical. He guessed it really came as shock to know this late what and how many people she was looking for. But why would it bother her?

Karias decided that Frankenstein seemed as sincere as he could be, and send a very disapproving glance to the human but other than that nothing else.

The night passed and after the cleaning of the table and the plates most people retired in their rooms. Besides it was a school night and most of them had to have an early start the next day.

After a small smoke with Frankenstein outside, albeit done in semi secrecy because Frankenstein didn't want the others to know, Karias offered to patrol the area around the school for the night. After they got inside, Seira offered to join Karias.

Everyone was slowly retiring in their own rooms.

Bart noted that Sara wasn't particularly eager to have a talk with him as they had previously agreed to. He approached the half opened door to her room and gently opened it. She was inside looking out of the window. With his hands in his pockets he stood next to her and his eyes wandered in the scenery. It was now the heart of autumn, soon the weather would show its colder face.

Just like Sara was now only showing him her more distant face.

"You have been acting distant since dinner"

"Have I? It must be the weather that is affecting me"

He raised his eyebrow "What? Now you can connect with the weather too?" he said teasingly.

"Oh. Ha. Ha. So funny" Her sarcastic comment though was not followed by anything else until she decided to set some things straight "Look Bart I think we should not concentrate in the past anymore"

"What do you mean?"

"It does not matter that much how our lives were before. All that matters is that you are alive and you have a family to take care of"

"What is it with you all of the sudden? You are the one that suggested that we still have things to talk about" Bart was surprised to say at the least by her change of mind.

"I thought it over again. You know your name, where you came from and that you were a good person before you lost your memories. Why try to hurt yourself by trying to find what the Union did to you and what it took from you?!" she turned to see him with angry eyes.

'Where did this anger come from?' wondered Bart.

"Of course I want to know! I want to know all of this, why wouldn't I?"

"Because I remember what I lost and it hurts every damn day! We lost loved ones and our past lives to those people! Why do we even waste our present lives on the past?! Didn't we give the Union enough already?!"

She was shouting. As a man with a limited recent interaction with this kind of situations, he was a little at loss of what to do.

"Sara, even if you lost people you remember them…what if I had any friends and family that I might-…"

"THEN THEY ARE ALREADY DEAD! Why put more of a burden to one's shoulders by practically telling them that they don't remember their dead loved ones?"

He was looking at her and he did not believe what he was hearing and seeing.

In the end she calmed down took a breath and turned her eyes at the window again. Bart decided to stand his ground despite her unreasonable outburst.

"I have the right to know" he looked at her "And I will know with your help or without" he said with determination.

"Huh" she half smiled "Then you are even more pathetic than I thought"

"Really? I am not the one who is shouting and crying in the middle of the night" and with that he left.

She was left there to look at her reflection on the window. In the distant she could see the street lights. Her breath was fogging the glass. Her tears, that she did not realised she had shed, were dry on her cheeks by now.

"Goodnight…Huh…you are wrong…but some things have to be forgotten and some bonds have to be severed"

She went to have a nice shower. The night was only beginning.

Tao's security computer room…

Tao and Frankenstein were checking the cameras of the house and the school even though Karias and Seira were in the area. Frankenstein was getting Tao ready for his duties when he would leave for the search. He had already told Haji to be prepared in the next couple of days probably…He was getting impatient for some reason. He had a weird feeling for some time now, but then again maybe it was fatigue…

"Now Tao, let's go over this one more time"

"Boss I'm sorry I can't, we did this two times already. The protocol for danger, invaders at day, invaders at night etcetera. I have the night shift for the home cameras tonight and it's already half past twelve in the morning…"

Frankenstein sighed "You are right…Go to bed, I will stay on the night shift tonight. You have a difficult day tomorrow"

"Aww boss, you are such a mother hen when you want"

"Leave now or you will regret it" it was one of the iciest Tao ever heard Frankenstein talk like. Well he had heard worst, but that was his queue to leave.

"You didn't deny it~" he said teasingly.

"Tao…"

"Yes…?"

"That mouth will be the death of you one day"

Tao frowned a little "Love you too Boss"

At that Frankenstein's eyes opened widely and he turned only to see a half closed door. He had already left. He turned to the camera feed. 'Huh…what a carefree way so say such a thing. Kids.'

{Well, well…looks like they are more than just underlings}

'Oh not these guys again…Can I not have an hour or two without you all bugging me?'

{Hehehehe only when you die!}

'Honestly sometimes all I want is a couple of hours without your annoying presence in my thoughts' he let the thought be heard inside his head. It was more of a wishful thinking than a request really. He was just tired.

Bart stormed in his room, which he was also sharing with his brothers. Takeo was there; he was doing something with his guns, Bart didn't know and didn't care to ask, as Takeo was sometimes such a geek about his weapons. He was currently sitting on his bed and Bart fell next to him on his own bed and growled in frustration.

"Well" said Takeo casually "Hello, there. How about using some words?"

Bart scoffed "She is impossible. Can you believe it?" he said in an angry tone.

Takeo exhaled "You are talking about Sara" said in realization.

"Of course I'm talking about Sara"

"Well, what happened?"

And Bart told him about the whole situation and the last minute change in her behavior.

"The woman is not well in the head I tell you. She probably has these mood swings or whatever phycology thing it's called"

Takeo raised an eyebrow "Bi-polar?"

"Yeah that!"

"I don't know, maybe"

"The one time she wants to talk and the next one she doesn't want to talk… 'Leave it in the past' she says. It's not like I want to talk about the weather…It's important things man!" he stopped fuming and tried to think.

Maybe he was overreacting…Okay maybe the bi-polar one was a little too farfetched but then again what could it be?

"I mean I don't remember the last time I had ever been in a similar situation…But I guess what they say about females is true. They are such mysteries sometimes, infuriating ones"

"Well, it could be…" started Takeo but then stopped. He looked kind of doubtful and Bart noted that. "Didn't Frankenstein tell you?"

"Tell me what? What do you know?"

"When I went to the old Union construction to take her home Frankenstein said that he set her free and when he asked for her help she didn't deny it. She would repay his kindness by finding sir Raizel. So maybe now that she has discovered that it won't be too long until we find him…maybe…she doesn't want to get attached; maybe she wants to cut all strings"

"But why would she do that?"

"Maybe she'll leave" said Takeo with a lower voice and tried to use a soft tone in order to make his brother understand "And I don't know if you noticed but she almost let it slip during dinner. Apparently she agreed to help find sir Raizel but not exactly stay with us"

Bart was looking like he was in deep thought. Takeo continued.

"I mean it was nice that you found her and she found you and you were able to learn about your past, but her initial goal was to repay Frankenstein for freeing her"

Bart took a very long breath and exhaled it loudly "Great, great, fucking…great" he said slowly with defeat. Somehow he didn't know that. Or maybe he forgot…And between him not knowing that and Sara not knowing how many people she was looking for, he was starting to believe that Frankenstein, and all of them as well, had a lot to deal with at the same time.

It was a miracle that they were keeping the students and the school out of harm's way.

"But…I don't want her to leave" he finally admitted.

"I thought you didn't like the way she behaved?" Takeo asked cheekily.

Choosing to completely ignore Takeo's cheeky remark he reasoned "Think of it. Where would she go?"

"Maybe she wants to go back to where your tribe used to be"

"But we don't even know if anyone survived…probably no one did."

"Yeah…but she's lived all this time while still knowing who she is, while still remembering who she actually lost. Maybe she needs time to mourn"

For some minutes neither of them talked. Takeo was still cleaning his weapons. As he shoot a look at Bart, he didn't know what to assume of the situation.

"Maybe she had a family and maybe children, who knows? Did she ever tell you anything about it?"

"No, she didn't tell me anything..."

"Well, did you ask?" said Takeo in a knowing tone.

Bart suddenly came to a halt "No" he said quietly "I never asked about her. I never did. We were almost always talking about my past and what happened in the Union but I never really asked her about her life before…" He put his hands over his face and sighed .

"Hey don't beat yourself up" said Takeo with a smile.

"I will ask her tomorrow"

"Yeah you do that. And if she wants to leave convince her to keep in touch"

Takeo was agreeing that Bart was right, because even if she wanted to leave she didn't really have anywhere else to go to; apparently everybody was…dead. Plus she had to be careful not to get caught by the Union since it looked like they were trying to become what they used to be.

Bart was now staring at the ceiling. Takeo had already finished polishing his guns and was trying to cheer the other up "Oh come on don't be like that. She will leave, she will return"

He scoffed "Huh…I cannot believe I'm taking advice about my personal life from you."

"Aha!" said Takeo in a rare showing of excitement "So she is part of your personal life!"

He liked the look on Bart's face; he rarely got the chance to tease him like that.

"Oh stop it, come on!"

"So you were not hugging her back in the training room?" he asked while studying the other carefuly.

"Oh you cannot believe whatever Tao says. She was tired so she leaned on me a little bit, that's it"

"Uh huh…right…Oh and about what you said earlier, my advice is just fine because I go places and meet people you know"

"You don't do squat. That dating app doesn't count; you didn't even upload a picture"

"Hey! It's a chat room" Takeo said in defeat. Yeah… he didn't go places.

"Right…"

For a moment they were both silent. It was time to sleep. Tomorrow was Friday and they had to be ready for their job. Takeo had already put his guns away and fell back on his back, looking the ceiling.

Bart was laid down on his own bed and so was Takeo on his.

"Hey Takeo…"

"Mm?"

"Do you ever… you know…date?"

"Ha…no…"

"Yeah…me neither…"

"I don't know Bart…I think the Union kind of broke us…Can we even trust someone like that to begin with?"

"Yeah…I guess you are right..."

'But then...why do I feel so weird about this whole situation? Why does it bug me that much?'

Bart exhaled again "I hope everything turns alright…in the end. I just wish for sir Raizel to be here. I always felt better with his presence around"

"Yeah, it felt so serene….Oh don't worry. Go to sleep"

The already half opened door opened more "Hey guys! What are you doing here still awake?" Tao's cheerful voice made them both turn their heads from the ceiling.

"What are you doing here?"

"Boss took the nightshift!" he came in almost skipping "Thank God! I need some sleep"

"You are being cheerful about not being in front of a computer screen? And grateful too?" asked Takeo as she raised his torso steading himself on his elbows.

"Oh come on! I'm not that much of a nerd"

The sarcastic comments were inevitable.

"Oh no!"

"Oh no, definitely not"

"When did you two learn sarcasm?" he threw his shirt at Takeo who let it hit him while laughing.

As Tao was changing he let his curiosity flow "So did you and Sara have a fight? I saw through the monitors you leaving kind of in a furry out of her room?"

"Oh my God, can no one have privacy in here?" Bart sighed.

"I wasn't snooping around, I happened to see it. So did you have a lovers' quarrel?

Bart groaned very loudly.

Frankenstein's house…3:08 a.m. …

Steps were heard, a person getting down to the lab. "So, let's see…If I remember correctly this goes here"

The door opened. The lights went on, but not all of them…

"Let's activate you"

She placed her hand on the panel. By now she knew how it was working.

At the same time Frankenstein caught a glimpse of her, through the camera of the hallway, going down to lab. It was pretty late at night for her to be awake. At first he thought that she was looking for him but after 5 minutes passed he was starting to wonder when she was going to return once she found out he was not there.

A couple of minutes passed and Sara was nowhere to be seen, so he saw through the lab camera. She was using the mini energy-tracking device. He didn't know she knew how to operate it.

It looked like she was trying really hard to locate something.

He decided to get down there.

No sooner than he arrived, she had stopped, exhausted and panting.

'Foolish girl. She pushed herself too much. What made her so overzealous?'

"Did you really believe that even looking for three people, ten minutes was going to be enough? Huh…You're overestimating your abilities" said Frankenstein with confidence as he approached her. Now, coming closer, he could see droplets of sweat on her forehead.

"Heh…you'd think so, wouldn't you…Frankenstein?" she said in between panting and still looking through the monitor. The scientist couldn't fathom why; it was turned off as of now.

"What are you doing here Sara?" he was through with the bullshit. Something was off here. Sara wasn't behaving normally. She wasn't even teasing him or throwing some smart remark. And she was still looking at nowhere in particular.

The room felt chilly all of a sudden. She slowly started breathing normally and she regained her composure.

If Frankenstein wasn't so focused on what was going on he might have noticed that the voices in his head were much quieter than usual.

"I wanted to see something for myself…and I did...I had to be...sure"

Still not looking at him. Her hair was hiding half of her face. Frankenstein thought she was starting to say nonsense, still shaken by her try.

"Look at you Sara! You overexerted yourself. I thought you were smarter than that, especially in your condition!"

Sara laughed 'Well, you thought wrong'

"May I ask you a personal question, Frankenstein?" her voice quiet but sounding sure.

Frankenstein had lived many years and fought countless enemies to know that this was the calm before the storm.

Something had changed apparently and even though he didn't know what, he wasn't going to let her work her empathic abilities on him. He had seen her spar with Bart through the monitors earlier, and from what Bart had said a clear and strong set of mind was the best defense; after that, her battle strategy with the energy swords was pretty basic.

"Sure. Ask away"

"Do you ever…sleep?"

Well, that caught him off guard "What?"

She slowly started turning her head to him "Do you ever sleep Frankenstein?" she asked again.

"Oh please Sara" he said with his usual charm "Even I have to rest at some point. I admit I can endure a lot but I do rest too"

"You say you rest" her face was now looking at him and her brown eyes looked like glowing "but you don't admit that you sleep" she said with conviction. After seeing that Frankenstein was not answering she continued "I mean look at you. You too are a mess Frankenstein. Surely you've noticed. Frankenstein…you never sleep, right?"

It was more of a rhetorical question. Because she knew it was true. She had never seen Frankenstein lay down sleeping. She never even heard him say that he was going to sleep; he was always saying that he was going to…rest.

As of now Frankenstein got very still…So she had figured it out.

It was true. Frankenstein did not sleep. Ever. He could not afford it; not with what was lurking inside him.

"Pray tell Frankenstein…how long has it been since you last slept?"

"Huh…Well, if you want to know…it was a long time ago. You have to understand Sara what I have in me could never, ever leave me in peace"

"I see" she answered "and it shows"

"How?"

"You are in a bad shape Frankenstein. This search has drained you! Really, you should be more careful"

"Ha! So weird of you to show concern" he laughed but it was short "What are doing here Sara? Up so late and still in your clothes?"

She raised her head looking him straight in the eyes. He was quite tall after all.

"I was thinking of how much you must have gone through for your Master"

He didn't believe her one bit.

"My Master is worth it and some more. I am everything that I am today thanks to him" he said with absolute certainty.

"And what about your…demons?"

"Huh if you mean my dear Dark Spear and its company, know that it came to be through power greedy people. My Master has nothing to do with them. He does always the best for everyone."

"Maybe you should sit down Frankenstein"

That sounded like a weird suggestion. He didn't feel tired, at least not that much.

"Please…" she said.

Then he noticed something…his feet, his legs were feeling heavy…like they couldn't be managed anymore. He looked down and then he saw.

She had expanded her aura to him without contact…and it was no longer a dark orange but a deep red…just like a Noble.

No time to think of it as he sat down. The clever vixen was hiding her powers. Damn her.

But he still had control of his mind…

"What are you trying to accomplish Sara? Know that you are not going to get to the core of my mind. We are all aware of your abilities and we've prepared ourselves"

"I never intended to do that Frankenstein. I respect other people's privacy…most of the times. "

She grabbed his forehead "I am going to give you a gift Frankenstein"

"I think I'll pass" he said coldly.

"You are being a liability with your exertion due to lack of sleep. How are you going to defend your family if occasion rises?" she asked sarcastically.

He was really tired because apparently somewhere in the conversation he had forgotten his own rule; don't get too close to her.

He tried to resist but she was already there.

"Frankenstein, I will let you sleep"

He panicked. A sneer was showing and his eyes were burning with rage. He was not in control and he hated that. He hated her. He didn't know what to do. He tried to get up and summon his power but alas the voices in his mind had gone silent.

Right away she offered him a wave of calmness and tranquility that he had never felt for such a long time now.

"I will keep them out. My aura and theirs…they do not mingle. They look like they are turning away from it. I will close them in a cage...Maybe for two or three hours- Don't worry Frankenstein" said Sara as she was seeing his panicked face and his quick breath "you will be able to sleep…for better or worse"

"No…"

How could he have missed that? With her powers and his treatments she was starting to resemble a Noble more and more. But to be able to mimic even their ability to put others to sleep... He supposed she wouldn't be able to do this if he wasn't so damn tired all the time.

"You are really resistant Frankenstein…but you are also in a very bad shape…thus making this easier for me…Besides you need this"

That sweet wave of calmness surrounded him. Oh he hadn't felt that good for so long. And that quiet in his mind…

"Sleep Frankenstein, you are human after all" a smile of her was the last thing he saw. It felt more sinister to him than it looked "Don't worry, you are not dying, you are too stubborn to do it and I really want you to know that I am doing this for your sake and your Master's"

"What are y-…" but he couldn't finish as the sweet embrace of sleep that he denied for so long finally wrapped his arms around him.

Silence, Tranquility and Nothingness welcomed him.

It was early after the dawn. Around 5:30 a.m.

But he didn't know…because he was sleeping.

On his chair down at the lab. Alone. The silence deafening. His breath steady.

Little by little, through the calm nothingness, their voices were starting to emerge. From the depths of his mind, from the bottom of his existence the fiends were rising again. Dark hands were starting to grab his mind.

A small twitch of the finger or of the eye. His serene state was starting to waver. But he didn't want to lose it.

The cage was slowly breaking, claws and teeth were scraping, eating the walls and their sinister tongues like razors were calling him, cursing him, disrupting his dreamless sleep.

They would speak his name as they would spit acid.

{Frankenstein}

{Frankenstein}

{Frankenstein}

Frankenstein…

That last voice wasn't theirs…It was different… It was far superior to the others .Through a ruby red curtain in his mind, he was finally seeing him. Regal and majestic; the epitome of elegance. He was looking at him with soft eyes like he knew something he didn't…

Master…Master…

He tried to catch him…

Master….

"MASTER!"

He was awake. Panting heavily.

The cage was half-broken, he could feel it in his mind.

In a second all that occurred a few hours ago, came to him like an epiphany. How did he let that happen? How was he so trusting? Was he really that tired of it all that he allowed himself to slip like that? He should have known better! After all these years of living…he should have known better.

Speaking of which…he really felt refreshed after that sleep even though he would never admit it and he hated that it was true regardless.

He never knew that she could actually do that. Her abilities were starting to resemble more and more those of Nobles.

And then…a ringtone was heard. He didn't remember having his phone there.

He turned to his left to see it. It was a flip phone and if he remembered correctly it was Sara's phone; he should know since he gave it to her. Funny she had asked for one the same way Bart did back in the day…

But now none of it mattered. The phone kept ringing and Frankenstein knew it was for him to answer.

So he did. The number was not Korean though…What in the world was happening?

More thoughts were infiltrating his mind as the cage was slowly breaking, piece by piece. Apparently her energy was losing its effect. But he was till kind of thankful of the fact that even awake the cage was not yet completely shattered; although it was dangerously close to.

He pressed the answer button and put the phone on his ear. His concentration was sharper than before. Probably because of the good sleep.

On the other end it was windy; he could hear it.

"I'm glad you're awaken Frankenstein"

He recognized her voice despite the distortion of the wind.

"Sara" his tone was cold and calculating.

"I was feeling the cage crackling; I had to call you in order to wake you. I didn't want them to be out and about while you were still sleeping…"

No response from Frankenstein. A few seconds passed.

"How did you do this? You were hiding your potential, weren't you? Why did you do this? And where are you now?!" The more he was asking, the angrier he was becoming.

From the phone Sara sighed. She sounded tired.

"Frankenstein" she said with a serious voice "write down some numbers I'm going to tell you"

"Why?"

"Write them down!"

'Hmm weird. She sounds more desperate than angry…'

"Okay…Tell me" and he wrote what he was told "What are these?" he asked as soon as she finished although he did have a vague idea.

"These are the coordinates to where your Master lies, alive still but not conscious"

He almost crushed the phone at this. Either from excitement or surprise he wasn't sure.

"What?!" he was trying to calm down but it was getting more and more difficult by the second "Sara…how do you know this? How do you actually know that it is the right one?! You would never find it in only ten minutes no matter how hard you tried to!"

"I had an idea but I had to be sure last night" her voice was steady and she was carefully picking her words.

"Sara how did you know?!"

To be continued...

A/N: And here it is the big reveal that I had in my mind for a long time now. What do you think of it?

Personally I don't remember seeing Frqankenstein sleeping so this is where I got the speculation from. I believe that Frankenstein would kind of wear himself down and thus letting his defences fall. That would be the only case that would ever happen. After all he is human.

Next up...Things are going to move fast...Stay tuned!
