Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of the Ogre's Rabbit. Enjoy the 2400-word chapter I don't own Titanfall or Genlock, Rooster teeth, Respawn and a few others do.

There was small Tink as a small object rolled in. One of the grunts went to inspect it only for it to explode and rink them apart. There was another noise as a head poked into the window.

"Told you." The voice said before a G2A5 rifle poked into the room. "Command? I've infiltrated the IMC outpost." The voice added before he slowly started forward.

It had started to become obvious that the IMC was bad at their job. He had left Havoc to secure the outside walls and wait for him when their dropship showed up. He swept his rifle around and fired a burst at a wall.

A pair of IMC grunts collapsed; 6.19 bullets punched through their helmets. Aiden stepped over their broken corpses and slowly marched up the stairs.

"Major Aiden, I do not see this going well, there are numerous IMC soldiers in and around the compound." Havoc stated to which the Militia Major could only roll his eyes at this.

"And? We ripped through them on the way here, Havoc. We both remember what happened the LAST time the IMC had gotten their hands on a damn superweapon. We aren't going to just sit back and let them rip an entire planet to pieces." Aiden stated as he continued up the steps.

"Humans and their desire to destroy each other never fail to impress me." Havoc stated in the metallic deadpan he was known for. "Then find the blueprints and get them. I will attempt to hold off the enemy reinforcements." Havoc added to which the Pilot could only chuckle.

"The charges are set. We will hold this position. I do not see the point in engaging the enemy army at the moment… Yet, if it fortifies the charges until detonation and evacuation? I will endeavor to hold this location until detonation." Havoc added as he prepared for this.

As much as Havoc constantly pointed out how terrible their mission was or how likely they were to die trying it? He'd never stop assisting Aiden. Aiden knew there were better titans, ones who probably would have made this mission a cakewalk. But he neither wanted a cakewalk nor did he want another titan.

"Remember when I helped put you together? You were about ready to fall apart and that was my first drop?" Aiden questioned as he slowly started to turn the corner.

A door exploded and a Spectre lunged at him, he dodged it and stabbed his data knife into the machine's circuits, and fried it. The machine collapsed into the ground and seemed to shut down as he stared at it. The machine sparked and tried to climb up only for Aiden to kick it, sending it cracking through the railing and onto a desk below which it snapped in half.

"Yes." Havoc stated as gunfire blared on his end. "And they had lost 20 reapers still. You destroyed half of the battlefield before then and had thought I would be better in the 'scorch' configuration. I disagreed as I rather enjoyed the penchant for explosions and violence that had been brought to the battlefield. You enjoy fighting the IMC more than anything, you know." Havoc added before an explosion came over the comm.

'And you enjoy ripping apart enemy mechs because of how willing you are to step onto the battlefield, big guy.' Aiden stated before he rolled his eyes to himself.

Still? It had become a lot harder when it came down to it. There would be more reinforcements attacking them. There was always going to be more.

"Major? There are several IMC Goblin class dropships incoming. Reinforcements total over 50 infantry soldiers." Havoc added to which Aiden rolled his eyes and looked around.

"Only 50? Wow, and here I thought we'd have problems, Hav." Aiden stated in return, stepping into another room and scanning it for problems. "No offense? Unless their 50 pilots? We're not going to have a lot of problems. The entire army isn't worth their damned paycheck. We both know how well they operate." Aiden stated before he seemed to question at the second what was coming.

Aiden stated while he seemed to ponder what to say or do. There were a lot of soldiers between him and his objective. And it seemed as if they had yet to question how good the Militia was at actually fighting a war on their terms.

To a soldier like Aiden, fighting was as easy as breathing. This wasn't going to be easy. It had been harder for them to counter these soldiers and their effective war on the IMC.

'You can call us terrorists all you want. We're fighting to be free from you pieces of s***. I'm not going to rest until they're all put in the ground. Not going to rest at all when it comes down to it.' Aiden mentally stated as he sighed to himself.

Another burst of gunfire pressed him forward into cover. He stared over the wall at more IMC grunts. They surged forward with guns blazing. Another squad or 2 brought up the rear as he appeared to question.

More soldiers were coming up towards him. Weapons raised to rip into him. Did they want to fight? He'd fight. Aiden checked his rifle.

"I suppose this is where there becomes a witty one-liner?" Havoc questioned before he rolled his eyes.

"Yep, time for witty lines and plenty of gunfire, Hav," Aiden stated before he rolled out of cover.

"Alert, explosion detected. Weapon trajectory altered!" Havoc roared which made the pilot blink as if something was coming.

It was, there was a massive explosion that rocked the area before it exploded into dozens of shapes.

(Another dimension, another planet)

The woman seemed to bounce on the balls of her feet. She'd gaze out the window at her war machine.

It became obvious that the machine was going to be in combat sooner or later. All of her comrades had said so with the Union being pushed back, they'd simply ramp up attacks, ramp them up.

She sprung to her feet as alarms began to sound. Another mission, another chance to be thrown into the damn battlefield and fighting the same damn madmen whom…

Another alarm, louder, more drilling into her brain than it had been a few seconds ago. She often questioned why they did so, but she didn't care now. She had a duty, a weird one, one she wouldn't be entertaining if it wasn't preferable to jail. The fact that this had become so odd.

Still? There were times when she considered being back in a prison cell. Piloting 40-foot-tall robots compared to being in a jail sight? She seemed to ponder what to do next, curious as to how different life could be if she hadn't taken their offer. It'd be odd, a lot more interesting to study that.

"Cammie!" She heard as she rolled her eyes and slowly started to walk towards the door. "We need to go, why are you always tired?" She heard which made her sigh.

All these people were odd. They rattled off military jargon like she was some hardened officer who had been on the frontlines of war for 20 years. It made the 17-year girl only smile and tilt her head to the side as she stretched.

"I'm coming, damn tired from not being able to stop working," Cammie said as she crossed her arms across her chest. "I swear you all go up and down with checks then forget I need some sleep," Cammie added at the second.

Another explosion rocked the building. Ok, either the Union had gotten the drop on them, which hadn't the chance, or something else was going on.

It was then there was noise in the air. A sound that sounded a LOT worse than she expected and a LOT closer to them than it had been before.

"What the hell?" Cammie asked before the noise and explosions seemed to sound further and further away.

Cammie turned and rushed towards her Holon. It seemed what everyone else was doing and they weren't going to get any damn answers if they were going to get any.

(Dozens of miles away)

Havoc glanced around, his sensors locking onto the armor with his soldier at the time. The Legion class titan slowly started to climb to his feet and stared around before he stared at his friend and slowly moved towards him. There was debris and ordinance all across the area. His sensors detected a warp hole in the space. He stepped over wounded or dying IMC soldiers as he glanced around and noticed the various soldiers who had traveled with his friend.

"Major, are you alright?" Havoc stated to which the soldier slowly started before he glanced at him.

The pilot groaned and slowly started to struggle to his feet, he looked around him at his surroundings. He felt something in front of him and grabbed it, putting his rifle across his back and realizing he was holding his sidearm. He rested his hand on the wall next to him as he stared around at the shattered building.

"What the hell…?" Aiden questioned before he looked at Havoc who had been advancing towards him. "Hav? You, ok?" Aiden questioned as he slowly moved towards him.

Gunfire exploded in their direction as both of them seemed to react properly. Aiden rushed to the shattered doorway and peered over it as Havoc moved for cover. There were soldiers, dozens of them all coming after them at the moment. Their rifles raised as they opened fire in their direction.

"Never a dull moment, huh bud?" Aiden questioned as he raised his rifle.

"Not when they're shooting at us," Havoc responded before a missile slammed into the wall next to them. "There are dozens of IMC troops moving this way. There also seems to be IMC space signatures approaching… And at least one unaffiliated signal." Havoc added to which Aiden blinked.

"Unaffiliated? Great, Mercs." Aiden muttered as he leaped into Havoc's arms. "Bud, let's get the hell out. We need to go before they bring the army down on us. Tell commander…" Aiden started to before he heard footsteps.

Loud footsteps, ones which sounded louder than any titan could hope to be. Both of them seemed to question what was happening, but Aiden realized damn well they couldn't stop to see who it was. Not with soldiers chasing them, not with an entire army after them.

"Did the weapon get destroyed?" Aiden questioned before he tilted his head and seemed and clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.

"Perhaps. I remember it was a ground-based atmospheric weapon. I do not know if it could be a threat to us, but it did misfire, Major." Aiden heard from Havoc as he tilted his head.

"And what happened at the second when the charges went off? The gun blew the planet into pieces like the fold weapon?" Aiden asked as he ran a hand across his armored temples.

"I am still attempting to contact the Independence, Major." Havoc stated before another series of explosions rocked the area. "And any IMC forces in the area are closing in. More troops were closing in. An allied Widow class dropship is coming to retrieve us at these coordinates." Havoc added before he seemed to move on his own.

He prepared for anything as he moved towards the location. Aiden kept his predator cannon ready for if any of their forces located them. He sighed to himself and leaned backward in the cockpit of the machine.

"Any sign of someone locating us?" Aiden questioned before he turned the cannon around.

A bullet, a LARGE bullet which made him turn to look around at a robot that was at least twice the size of a titan… With a very big pair of pistols. He noticed customization on its shell, shades of jade with lagomorphic legs with digitigrade feet… And a pair of bunny ears?

"Yes." Havoc stated before the titan and pilot fell silent.

"What in the… Hav? That's not some sort of Titan, yeah?" Aiden asked as he reached for a type of button on the machine.

"Negative." Havoc said without a hint of his trademark sarcasm.

Aiden flipped the switch and dropped a can of electric smoke. They turned and vanished into the smoke as bullets rang out. The massive mech which Havoc showed was at least 40 feet tall as the machine marched after them.

"Aiden, that machine shows remote hacking abilities, I would advise a new plan of attack." Havoc stated before he seemed to question what to do next.

"Running the hell away isn't a damn good plan? We need to escape, contact the Independence, tell them to get a pair of Hornets launched, we're getting out of here." Aiden responded before he started to turn.

The machine was fast. VERY fast, it was outmatching Havoc in speed. Not surprising considering that the Titan was slow even with the modifications. All he could do was fight. It would catch them before they were halfway there.

"I recommend fighting before we get murdered, Major." Havoc said as Aiden chuckled.

"Now you're doing it my way?" Aiden questioned with a raised eyebrow. "Fine, think you can draw their fire? Doubt your get through their armor… But secondly? I think we can try the old bullfight trick." Aiden stated before he seemed to shake his head with interest.

"You wish to attempt to 'rodeo' a mech of that size?" Aiden heard with a raised eyebrow before he seemed to glance around.

"Yep, let's get going, bud," Aiden stated before he smiled and popped the hatch as the smoke started to fade.

He glanced at the mech.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will ease us into the Gen: Lock world. I wanted to quickly get to the Gen: Lock world and set up the Militia and IMC coming to Earth. The next chapter will show Cammie and Aiden encountering each other and start to set up his interactions between him and Gen: Lock. Until the 900–6500-word chapter in 2-10 months.
