Jedi Temple Coruscant Night Time
12 year old Anakin Skywalker had only been in bed an hour and was just starting to drift off to sleep when the sound of sirens and then the sound of master jinns just outside his bedroom roused him from his half asleep state.
He sat up in bed as the door to his room hissed open and his master Qui gon Jinn entered the room and said as he pulled a small bantha leather bag out of the cupboard " Anakin I need you to get out bed and get your boots and your thickest warmest cloak on as quickly as you can while I pack this bag with your clothes and and some food for your journey "
Anakin hurriedly got of bed and fished out his boots from under his bed and then started to pull them on , while Master Qui gon put three of sets clean clothes , some socks and underwear along with 2 cloaks in the bag and then handed him the third and thickest cloak to put on which he put on , then followed his master out into living area of their quarters.
As he did he could the hear the voices of other Jedi and Padawans in the corridor out side their quarters as the sirens continued to blare, " Master what's going on?! "Anakin asked now as his master started packing rashion packs and some bottles of Anakins favourite soft drink into the bag.
As he did he looked at Anakin said " the temple is about to be under attack and the younglings , along with the junior Padawans are being sent to safety off world", Anakin stared at his master then he thought wait just the younglings and the junior Padawans were being sent to safety?! what about everyone else?!
2 minutes later Anakin found himself hurrying along the corridor towards the hangar clutching Qui gon 's hand so they wouldn't get separated from each other in the crowd of other Jedi knights, masters and Padawans who were also heading towards the hangar bay.
It was then as they passed the doors to the court yard that Anakin heard the sound s of a battle out side and held on to Qui gon hand even tighter, and looked to his master for reassurance but unfortunately Qui gon had no reassurance to give he just said "come Ani we must hurried."
A few minutes later he and Qui gon arrived at the temple hanger along the other masters and Padawan pairs but instead of following them to the escape ships, and Qui gon led Anakin over to a small ship in the corner of the hangar and then nelt down infront of Anakin and said " Anakin I want to listen me now , I have programmed in co-ordinates to Mandalore I want you to find a young man called Obi wan Kenobi when you get there do you understand " Qui gon told he.
Anakin nodded and said " okay Master but are you coming with me?" Qui gon looked sad and replied his tone gentle " I wish that could Padawan but I can't but Obi Wan will look after you" , " but you 'll come get me once it's safe won't you master? " Anakin asked him tearfully.
His master once again looked saddened again and then he said " if it's safe and I am able too then I will come get you "Qui gon told him.
Hours Later On Mandalore
Obi wan was returning to the palace in Sundari when the pain in his head and the screaming in force started , and Obi wan kenobi crumbled to his nee's clutching his head as Qui gon jinn past into the force.
