Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of the Ogre's Rabbit. Enjoy the 2000-word chapter I don't own Titanfall or Genlock, Rooster teeth, Respawn and a few others do.

(Hornbill transport Whirlwind)

He stared out over the ocean at the Holon while he started to fight the rest of the soldiers in this place. It had been a lot more horrid when it came down to it. there was more to this plan when it came down to it.

He had been a lot more as of the time. there was a lot more on this mind. Who the hell piloted it? why had they come here? What was their aim? It had been a lot more vexing than it seemed to come to mind.

Yet he had no damn idea what to say or do. He kicked one of the unknown soldiers into the wall before turning and shooting another. He had to support the Militia assault. Let their fighters and heavy weapons deal with the giant mech. He couldn't do more when it came down to it. there was a lot more to do either way he seemed to apply to it.

(With Cammie)

Cammie kicked a Spider Tank that had tried to attack her before she hummed as she looked around. She turned to look at one of her soldiers before this came down to it. they had shown up twice and she had yet to find out who the hell they were. There was a lot more as of the second. It had been a lot harder for her to find out what to do next.

Still? if she knew who the hell they were when it came down to it. there was a lot more on the time that hadn't been answered.

"Cam, grab them and let's go. We're going to need reinforcements." Cammie heard before she sighed and seemed to be kicking herself for this. "Kazu? Handle the rest of the soldiers, we need to hold the area for more reinforcements." Kazu heard before he rolled his eyes.

The two others seemed to be preparing for more battle as the pilot seemed to punch one of the soldiers and slide under them before kicking another in the back of the head while dodging more gunfire.

She watched his odd dance. One of death and chaos ripped apart another soldier while his soldiers seemed to spread out, opening fire on a few others before long. It seemed as if there was more on this than possible. It seemed as if all of them were practicing their skills when it came down to it.

"Are you sure? There's a lot more on the line. A lot more I Cannae deal with these guys if I go after am." Cammie stated which was answered by an explosion.

She sighed before she realized that more and more soldiers would come, flooding the entire area before she was able to do anything. She had to fight and get the soldier before of them showed before it came down to it.

There was a lot more on the line if it came down to it. there was a lot that hadn't been decided as of the time being. She knew that there were a lot more soldiers between them, but she had to know.

She watched as he stared back at her, seeming to study her as he turned back to engage the rest of the soldiers around him. There was a pause in his motions as he seemed to identify her and the others as more dangerous than anything else. Not a bad argument considering the idea that they would steamroll the Union forces here if not for the fact that there was a Behemoth which he didn't seem to at all know what it was, something that surprised her.

She charged through the swamp water as the soldier turned in time to leap at her and land on the elbow of her right arm.

"C'mere, you big…" Cammie yelled as she glanced at the soldier.

"Cammie, grab him, and let's go! We got reinforcements coming in." She heard as she looked at the soldier.

"Major, standby for Titanfall." Cammie heard as she blinked before a crack of lightning and thunder broke the sky.

She looked up in time to see something smash into the Behemoth, the mech tilting to the side and staggering back and forth as it tried to keep its balance. The smoke and fire were followed by the mech from before which lifted the gun, she had noticed from it as it started to charge.

"Thanks, bud. Sorry, cottontail, but we need this stuff." The soldier said before firing their grappling hook at her shoulder. "All forces, engage! Secure the area, me and Havoc will keep the enemy titans busy until we can get a signal out!" The soldier yelled as she seemed to blink to herself.

Titan? What the hell was a titan? Some sort of holon? Had there been a new model they owned that the Polity and Vanguard didn't? she didn't damn well know and that bothered her when it came down to it. there was more to say and do.

Ok, she had to catch this man and whoever the hell they were when it came down to it. there was a lot more to do before now. There was only so much that could be said and done to counter this attack. She hadn't yet pondered who the hell these people were, what their business here was when it came down to it. all she noticed was that the soldier was a boy, they had a giant ass mech like her, and they seemed to be a lot more curious about what the hell the enemy had been after when it came down to it. They had surprised her more than anything.

And that rather scared her. But it mostly made her giddy. New technology, new things to research? To study? She had a thousand new questions about them. This had yet to come to fruition and she already had a thousand questions.

"The machine can talk?" Kazu questioned before he was forced to dodge a barrage of Union fire.

Cammie watched as the soldier fired another grappling hook, throwing them into the machine which opened a hatch on its front. Cammie could see indeed the machine had no pilot as it placed the pilot into the middle of the machine as it turned towards the Spider Tanks. A shield-like object seemed to pop up around his gun while the mech advanced onto the Legion forces… So, she DID know that it was a mech.

A mech had to have some sort of slave system or AI to which its pilot could remotely operate it at the end of the day.

Cammie approached them as Kazu kicked one of the tanks, crushing it into scrap as Chase engaged the Behemoth. The machine's cannon belched out round after round towards the Union forces, soldiers were diced into pieces and the Spider Tanks were forced to at least fall back as the machine started to backpedal.

Cammie quickly pivoted and launched out a steel hand, wrapping around the frame of the lighter machine as they engaged the enemy. The machine's canon dropped only for Cammie to grip it with her other arm.

"Oh, you have to be kidding me…" The pilot said as Cammie lifted the smaller mech. "Hav, pop the electronic smoke before cottontail turns us into a popped soda can." The pilot stated before Havoc spoke.

"Major, the enemy is blocking the vents, options are limited. I would suggest ejecting." Havoc added before Cammie rolled her eyes.

"Not happening, bud. If die? I'm going to hell with you… Bring it on, cottontail, I'll… Hav, new orders just came in." Havoc added before there was a new stream of comm data.

He was a lot more curious as of the second when it came down to it. He glanced at the metallic monster that clutched it when it came down to it. there was a lot more to do when it came down to. As much as he tried to keep his cool, he wasn't freaking out internally but his cool was slowly starting to evaporate.

He tried everything short of just blowing up Havoc which would also have run the risk of killing him. Nothing, the hatch wouldn't properly open, nor was the hatches which could deploy many of his counter defenses, Havoc tried to pry their fingers off him or at least punch them off. it didn't even make him slightly budge when it came down to it. He sighed to himself before remembering that this had been a lot more interesting at the end of the day before this came down to it. He needed to find a way for this to be turned into a win when it came down to it.

"You aren't going anywhere. Except with us." The voice on the other end said while he blinked before humming to himself.

"Not if I can help it, Ms. Cottontail. Militia doesn't go down easy." Aiden said before he sighed. "Hav, tell me we got something before they turn you into a trash came before now," Aiden stated before he hummed to himself.

He waited for a tick as the sounds of gunfire and orders being issued came over the radio. They had been beating this new enemy which meant at least if he couldn't survive? He had accomplished part of his objective.

"No… But the signal was broadcast. The Militia are aware of the signal. I would suggest ejecting while deploying missile barrage." Havoc stated before he sighed to himself.

He knew Aiden for a moment wouldn't even entertain the idea for a second. There'd be a lot more to do next before now. He'd be more to do next. There was so much on his mind even if he didn't want there to be

"Can you get me their comm signature?" Aiden questioned as he blinked. "They're not IMC, I don't see any markings. Maybe we can talk this out without them bending us into a soda can." Aiden stated as he thought of his options before this came down to simply taking one for the team.

He had sent the signal; he could see that there was comm chatter across every single part of the mech when it came down it. His soldiers seemed to be pulling back as he could see Crows dropping down to evacuate the rest of the army. That just left him, the rest of the enemy… And giant mech team.

He already was taking one for the damn team, it'd be a lot more to handle either way. Wasn't as if he'd be dying for nothing. There was something that was coming apart, either way, something he hadn't yet really seen when it came down to it.

And he questioned if they were enemies or just something the Militia hadn't yet been around. They hadn't tried to kill him, just shoot him once or twice. He couldn't get a read on if they didn't at all trust him or if something else had come down to it.

That was honestly the most interesting part of this idea before now. He was thrown off by Havoc speaking up.

"Radio signal established… Unknown transport approaching." Havoc stated before he leaned back in his seat.

"For them?" Aiden questioned before he raised an eyebrow across his face. "There'd be a lot more on this if it came down to it," Aiden said while he cracked his fingers before he looked down at the ground.

He tilted his head before he glanced down at the robot.
