2 Days Later

Anakin Skywalker sat is the pilot's chair his face stained with dry tears as the little ships auto pilot took the him into Mandalorian space, but the young Padawan barely noticed his Master was gone he had felt him pass into the force he was a orphan now .

On the way to a planet where he knew no one and he had no idea if the young man that his master had told him to find was still living on Mandalore or whether he would take care of him as master Qui gon had said he would.

Would his masters former student even want a orphaned Padawan around, "what will happen to me if Obi wan doesn't want me, Master ? who will look after me then?Anakin whisper into the force as the shuttle descended though the Mandalorian atmosphere and down the space port.

Meanwhile At The Palace In Sundari

Satine Kryze Kenobi stood at the window of her and Obi wans personal quarters looking out at the palace grounds as Obi wan entered the room behind her and sunk down on their bed with a sigh.

"Still no answer at the temple " asked him as she turned away from the window and sat down next to him on the bed as Obi wan shook his head and said" no still no answer , I 've tried every one I can I think of " Obi wan told her as placed the Jedi issue comm on the table.

" no one answered not even master Yoda ? " Satine asked him shocked Obi wan ran a had over his face tiredly and shook his head and said his tone saddened " no no-one" Obi wan replied.

Meanwhile In The City Of Sundari

Anakin exited his shuttle and hurried out into the city to search for his masters former student Obi wan Kenobi but there was just one problem , Master Qui gon had not told him how or where to find him or even what the young man that was looking for looked like so Anakin had a feeling that it was going to be like looking a loath Kat in a forest Anakin thought sadly.

A few hours later Anakin was tried and hungry and thirsty so he sat down on the wall of the fountain in main town centre and started to search though ,the pockets of his bantha leather qbag for the ration packs and soda that Master had packed for him the night of the attack on the Temple .

As he did came across a package addressed to him in his masters writing in one of the pockets of the bag the little tentively took the package from its hiding place and opened it, the package contained 2000 republican credits, a letter to Obi wan Kenobi and another letter addressed to Anakin with directions on how to find Obi wan.

Anakin slipped the Credits and the directions on how to find his new guardian into his tunic pocket and tucked the letter addressed ,to Obi wan back into his bag and then took out the meal pack and soda bottle he had been looking for originally and ate some lunch. While he thought of a plan to find his masters old student.

Meanwhile Back At Palace

Obi wan received a urgent comm call from master Yoda in the palace comm centre, " Master Yoda thank the force I ve be... Obi wan started to say as he saw the little green troll like grandmasters blue holographic image , but Yoda cut him off by saying "temple attacked it was but escaped with the younglings and Padawans some of us did , but many good Jedi gone are they " the little troll like master said his big ear's drooped sadly .

"But why I call you that is not missing Qui gon's last Padawan is " Yoda told the young man now, Obi wan looked at Master Yoda and said " I didn't know Qui gon had a new Padawan Master,what do you mean by he is missing ?" Obi wan asked now worriedly.

"On the escape ships with the other younglings and Padawans he was not , believe that on a shuttle to Mandalore Qui gon put him instead I do" the elderly alien replied.

" But why would master Qui gon do that ? send his Padawan here to Mandalore? " still not quite understanding what Master Yoda was saying. " like the other Padawans young skywalker is not ,came to us late he did , needs a particular type of teacher he does and closest thing to Qui gon he has now you are "Yoda told him.

Obi wan shook his head said"master I can't teach a child and I am not a Jedi anymore I haven't been one in years I can't take on a Padawan, I never finished my own training ". But little green master was unswayed by Obi wans self doubt in his teaching abilities, Sent young Anakin to you for a reason Qui gon did Will of force it was that he come to you it could be" the little green master told him as Obi wan made to argue again then he added " go now I must and a lost Padawan you must go and find hmmm ," yes master " obi wan replied.

With that the little green grandmaster disconnected the call and Obi wan left the comm centre to inform Satine that they would need to arrange a search party to look for the missing boy , Obi wan only hoped that the boy would be found before dark as the city was no a lost child after dark Obi wan thought with a shudder.

Meanwhile An Hour Later On A Road Heading Out Of Sundari

Anakin had stopped for a rest and drink when he heard the sound of speeders approaching where he was at last !people he thought as he had walked for a while now with out seeing any vehicles or people.

So maybe he could flag who ever was coming and hitch a ride or at very least they would be able to tell him if he was on the right road to get to the palace Anakin thought as he moved to the side of the road to flag down the on coming vehicle down.

Obi wan was so preoccupied by his thoughts about the lost Padawan as he drove that he almost didn't hear Satine warning that a child had stepped into the path of their speeder it was only when she cried out and made grad for the control stick and forced him off course thus causing him miss hitting the boy meer inches.

Obi wan brought speeder back under control and eased it to stop before getting out shouting at the now fear frozen boy "what in blue blazes were you thinking stepping out into the roadway like that ! I almost hit you!".

The boy just stared blankly at him in too much shock to say anything,Obi wan heard Satine sigh and get out of the speeder and say" Obi wan calm down no one was hurt then she turned to the boy and said " why are you out here so late surely your parents will be worried?"

At this the boy snapped out of his daze and said quietly " I don't have any parents, well at least not ones that I remember the told her , then he added "my master sent to Mandalore to find his Padawan before me as he's supposed to look after and teach me to be a Jedi how that master Qui gon is... the boy trailed off as both Satine and Obi wan quickly looked at each other and then back at the boy.

And then Satine said " your name isn't Anakin Skywalker is it? the boy stared at her and then nodded Obi wan sighed and said still reluctant to reveal who he was " did your master tell who it was that you were to look for " the boy shrugged and said " some one by the name of Obi wan kenobi ".

"was that all master Qui gon told you h... he didn't give you letter or written message? " the young man asked him,Anakin started to shake his head but then he remembered the letter addressed to Obi wan and said " Master Qui gon slipped this into my bag along with some directions to where Obi wan lives , and Anakin took the letter and directions that Qui gon had given him out of his bag and handed them to him hoping that the young man would know where to find Obi wan and take Anakin to him.

Obi wan took the letter and directions from Anakin and slipped the directions into his pocket and then opened the letter and started to read it ,as Satine suggested to Anakin that he get into their speeder and they would give him a lift to the palace .

It was then that it dawned on Anakin who the young man reading master Qui gon's letter to Obi wan was, it was Obi wan himself Anakin had found him or rather Obi wan had found him!, a few seconds later when Obi wan was done reading the letter he joined Satine and Anakin in the speeder and said" so are we ready to go home as master Yoda will waiting to hear that you 've been found safe and sound ".
