Chapter 38: Interrogating Petetronic

The Toonateers arrive at Dark Beauty Castle from the Projector with Merida in Mickey's arms and Prescott in Oswald's.

"You know you didn't have to carry me, Mickey," said Merida as she backflipped out of his arms.

"Well, you were having trouble going through the Projector. What else can I do?" Mickey respond.

"We don't talk about Julius, no, no. We don't talk about Julius," Tintley sang.

"What are you doing, Tintley?" Turpley confused.

"I thought we were singing."

"You and I mirror in difference."

"What does that even mean?"

"Playing cards!" Oswald called out.

When Jack Trade, Decker, and Ace of Spades arrive by his command, Oswald hands over Prescott to Jack Trade and says, "Make sure Prescott gets the best food, clean clothes, healing, and best bath."

"Sir, yes, sir," said the three cards.

"Can you make my bath lavender scented?" Prescott asks while he is taken away.

"He better get well soon. We got so many questions for him," said Ortensia.

"Princess Merida, can you recall anything during your capture?" Gus asks.

"All I can remember is wanting to escape my prison and beat the haggis out of my enemies…and I remember a giant jug in the pool before we were frozen into it," said Merida, cracking her fingers and neck.

"So, that's what happened to the Thinner Jug. The Petes took to create the mirror prisons for the Disney Princesses," Ortensia said.

"Well, the bottle is embedded with magic so that it would make sense," said Mickey.

"Lady Clarabelle!" Oswald called.

She arrived and said, "You bellowed, Oswald?"

"Take Merida to the Princess Suite until we get her home."

"Sure thing. To let you know, the Bunny Children are playing with the other Princesses over there."

"Bunnies? I hope they're cuddly," said Merida as she followed Clarabelle.

Gremlin Jamface arrives to say, "Toonateers, we got updating news from Petetronic."

"Good to know, Jamface. If you're looking for Prescott, he's at the Aid Nursey," said Gus before the Toonateers left.

At the Dungeon, Small Pete and Pete Pan are still locked in their cells as they watch Petetronic running on a treadmill with chains on his arms and waist. Animatronic Pluto and the Sprite are guarding them. Animatronics Daisy, Donald, and Goofy were at the sidelines observing everything.

"Any minute now, I'll get a scoop," said Daisy.

"Why?" Goofy asks.

"Please, Goof. No questions," Donald annoyed.

The Mad Doctor stands close to him, saying, "That's right. Keep running. The treadmill is the worst exercise equipment that will make you feel like you're being tortured."

"So, there's still some evil inside you. Isn't there?" Ortensia said while she and the Toonateers were behind him.

"If there is, I can't help it. I was made to be a villain."

"Alright."

"Petetronic, will you repeat what you said to us?"

The chain holding Petetronic's waist goes up so he'll stop running.

"Okay, I'll talk so I won't have to run again," Petetronic continued. "You know the Toon Heart Orb from Mizrebel? We manage to research how to get the Toons to come here literally instead of their dreams. It got some dialing and settings on it. Due to its existence, we could get items from the Real World and Toon World to fall from the sky to enter here."

"What? Who would create such a thing?" Oswald asks.

But then everyone turned to the Guardian Fairies, puzzled by the stares, until they started to gain a new memory. At Heart-shape Island, they have seen place books back in their place in a library. They have notebooks on the table filled with writing. When they finished putting the books back, they picked up their notebooks and walked out of the library.

"Well, that's everything we need to bring Julius the Cat and Fanny Cottontail back to life," said Turpley.

"I had no idea creating a Toon was that intense for animators and artists," Tintley continued. "All we figured out is the Toons are made from Paint. Perhaps there's a way we can use Thinner to help out in this project."

They came across Mother Angel and Papa Devi L shining the Toon Heart Orb.

"Remind me why we have that Orb?" Turpley asks.

"I thought we use it to watch over the Toons and give them anything we need with it," said Tintley.

"Tintley and Turpley, you've been here for many years now. The Orb was once used for us to communicate with Yen Sid. But now he said that we are using it as the key to the doorway key to something that Forgotten Toons' desire to have within this island," said Mother Angel.

"What could this island have? It doesn't even have a name," said Turpley.

"It's something that will allow them to leave Wasteland that we must keep a secret from the Toons. But, ironically, we call this place the Heart of Wasteland for us to guard them," said Papa Devil L.

But everything starts static as the Guardians say, "Who's…them?"

This memory hurts their heads so much that Tintley and Turpley grip their heads and scream in agony.

"Tintley and Turpley, what's wrong?!" said Mickey, quickly catching them in his hands.

"Gah! All we know is that Orb was given to our families by Yen Sid," Tintley said.

"And something about that will allow the Forgotten Toons to leave Wasteland," said Turpley.

"Really?! Without Hearts?! If those BlotToon versions of me, my brother, and my wife has it. We can't let them keep it," Oswald continued. "But who knows where their new hideout is? Are you going to tell us, Petetronic?"

"Even if I would, I doubt you'll be entered it. It's probably highly guarded by those three crazed BlotToons," he responds.

"Hey, you and your cousins were the ones who made them. Blame yourself for not seeing their betrayal coming," said Mickey.

"Shouldn't you be more concern about what those BlotToons are up to?" Petetronic said.

"Yeah, they might be planning something bigger than we were," said Pete Pan.

"How much trouble these BlotToons you keep mentioning can they be?" Donald asks.

"You're forgetting. They are the BlotToon Counterparts of Mickey Mouse, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and Ortensia Whiskers," said Small Pete.

Everyone then turned to Mickey, Oswald, and Ortensia in concern as they smiled in worry and chuckled.

"Oh, yeah. We need to take them down. It's a good thing our Mouse, Rabbit, and Cat friends here were made to be good people," said Turpley.

"Say, do you know the Heart of Wasteland, Petes?" Tintley asks while Petetronic is placed in a cell next to his cousins.

"The Heart of Wasteland? How ironic since the place is shaped like a heart, too," said Petetronic.

"The Heart of Wasteland…That's got to be where three Dictators are hiding out," Mickey said.

"Mad Doc, you know what do?" Oswald said.

"I'm on it. I'll look for the place instantly. And to let you know, the next Disney Princess is at Skull Island," said Mad Doc.

"Disney Princess Moana. That will leave two Princesses to save before we can take out the enemy. Toonateers, let's move out," said Mickey.

"Wait! What did the BlotToons do to our cousin, Big Bad Pete?" Petetronic said.

"They gave him what he wanted but lost what he had," said Ortensia before the Toonateers.

"If I can read her words right, it means they mind-controlled your cousin for their plans," said Daisy.

"What?! We're doomed," the three Petes said.

At the Heart of Wasteland, the Blot Heart beats louder as the three Dictators come over while BlotToon Ortensia holds her suitcase. Their eyes turn red, blue, and green when they start their communication.

"So, want to bring chaos on all Toons? Sounds like fun," said BlotToon Mickey.

"What kind of heart do you want? Because we got plenty of them," said BlotToon Ortensia.

The Blot Heart beats louder while she answers, "The scariest Heart? They all look scared to me, and they're still beating."

"Let's see here," BlotToon Oswald continued while opening the case. "We got a Poison Apple Heart, a Glass Slipper Heart, another in Spinning Wheel shape, a Trident one, a Book Heart, a Magic Lamp, a Leaf shape one, a Hair Accessory for a Heart, one is a lily pad flower, a Sundrop Flower shape, and a bow/arrow Heart."

When the Blot Heart beats slower, BlotToon Mickey says, "Hey, don't blame us. That is how their Hearts were shaped during the creation process. Well, the Poison Apple one doesn't sound bad, nor does the Trident kind. The bow/arrow is cool, but the Magic Lamp has more charisma."

The Blot Heart let out a big beat, and BOswald said, "What? Do you want a better Heart? All Lieutenant Hearts is associated with the symbols of the Disney Princess. The last two might be cooler than what the Humans call it."

"Heh. Humans…," BlotToon Ortensia continued. "Just the evolved version of animals. All they can do is destroy and make things worse. And make anything they create just for their games and gain: fight over the silliest of reasons, destroy their world for development, and love violence everywhere. No matter what they do, they always treat what God gave as playthings. Tehehe. I can't wait for all to be free from… the plague of humanity."
