A/N 1: Well, it sure has been a few years since I last updated this story. But hey, we're almost done with Timmy's trials on Korriban. Yay! And as most of you are no doubt aware, I am deleting most of my stories and putting them up for adoption. I've been feeling overwhelmed with the vast quantity of stories that I have on this profile and have decided to get rid of most of them so that I can focus on those that I really want to finish. You can find those stories that are up for adoption in a collection of oneshots that I'm posting called… Stories Up For Adoption. Short, simple, and to the point. If any of you are interested in adopting one or more of those stories, please go over there and see what catches your interest. Then PM me or leave a review and we'll go over the details.

A/N 2: Also, I have posted a poll on what Timmy should be as a Sith Inquisitor. Should he go down the route of the Sith Sorcerer, master of Force Lightning and single blade combat? Or the Sith Assassin, the stealthiest fighter in the galaxy and weilder of the Double-Bladed Lightsaber? Go to my profile and cast your votes, because next chapter is when Timmy will decide on his path as a Sith.

Disclaimer: I still don't own Fairly Oddparents or Star Wars: The Old Republic!

End of the Trials! Apprenticeship Made Real!

Third Person POV.

Timmy and Kory didn't know how long they stood there in the hall after Lord Zash had spoken to them, but it definitely took a few minutes for the reality of what she had said to them to sink in. But when it did, it sunk in big time.

"We just spoke to Lord Zash." Kory said in slack-jawed awe.

"Uh-huh." Timmy said in equal amounts of shock and awe.

"And she practically said that she believes in us." Kory said, a smile beginning to form.

"Uh-huh." Timmy said as he too began smiling.

"Do you realize what this means?" Kory asked, her excitement rising.

"Yeah, I do!" Timmy replied.

They turned to each other and grabbed each other by the shoulders, grinning like a couple of loons.

"WE'RE GOING TO THE TOP, BABY!" they exclaimed in unison.

It was a good thing nobody was around to see them, because Timmy and Kory were laughing and cheering at their good fortune. Timmy had even thrown his arms around Kory and picked her up, the girl laughing as she was spun around by the Sith Pureblood who she had developed feelings for. Nothing could bring them down now that they knew that Lord Zash seemed to be on their side. Timmy set Kory down as they came down from their moment of unbridled joy and they walked into Harkun's office in high spirits with smiles on their faces.

"I was just about to send Ffon off. What delayed you, slaves?" Harkun asked as the two entered his office.

Still feeling the effects of their earlier bout of happiness, Timmy couldn't keep the grin off his face as he replied, "Well, first Lord Zash stopped us to tell me and Kory how amazing we are, and then we got talking and I guess we lost track of time."

Harkun scoffed and said, "Just like a slave to make up stories. Lord Zash would crush you like a Gizka if you ever crossed her path. You're not worthy of her presence. Neither of you are."

"Oh, I don't doubt that she can indeed crush me like a Gizka." Timmy said, dropping his smile.

"Neither do I." Kory added.

Though, they didn't agree that they weren't worthy of being Lord Zash's apprentices.

"Now, slave, did you and your little plaything collect the texts from Tulak Hord's Tomb?" Harkun asked.

Timmy scowled at what Harkun had referred to Kory as, and simply reached into his pocket and handed them over to the Overseer.

"Do these answer your question?" he asked rhetorically.

"Give it here. No doubt it's been badly damaged. It's what we get for sending a couple of worthless lowlives to do a Sith's job. Isn't that right, Ffon?" Harkun said.

"What are we waiting for, Overseer? Why don't we kill this wretch and his little whore now?" Ffon asked arrogantly.

Timmy just barely held back a growl and scowled at Ffon for his words. He could take being insulted, no problem. But calling Kory, his friend and possible romantic interest, a whore was crossing the line. Still, he held himself back from lashing out, if just barely.

"You have a big mouth, slave, but no combat skills. And your failure of a partner, even less so. I don't want to see either of you again until you've satisfied the Korriban instructors. The training facility is on the second floor of the academy and is usually reserved for the Dark Lords and their apprentices." Harkun instructed while, for once, ignoring Ffon. "This is not a promotion, and you are not to speak to anyone except the training master when you arrive up there, understand? You are not fit for their presence."

"Please tell me Ffon can come. We'll have so much fun." Timmy said with a growl.

"Ffon has been training at combat his whole life. He was born to be Sith. You are just as likely to chop your own arm off as not, slave." Harkun said dismissively. "Now, get going to the second floor training grounds. You don't want to keep the instructors waiting."

"We're gone." Timmy said.

He kept Kory in front of him as they walked out of the office, once again making sure to keep her safe in case Harkun tried anything behind their backs. It took them only five minutes to get there, with Timmy opting to not get a new shirt since it would probably just get ruined anyway. But when they got to the training room no one was there. Or, so they thought.

"Hello there, friends." a voice said.

Timmy and Kory turned around and saw the remaining two acolytes from their group standing on either side of the entrance.

"You remember my brother and me from downstairs with Harkun, right?" asked Wydr.

"Sorry it had to be this way." Balek said.

"We don't like it any more than you do. Well, maybe a little more." Wydr added.

Timmy slightly narrowed his eyes as Kory crossed her arms.

"I'm not superstitious, but I've got a bad feeling about this." she said.

"Indeed, Kory. This sounds vaguely like a threat. What did we ever do to you?" Timmy asked the brothers.

"I'm sorry, man. I liked you, I really did. The way you dove in and rescued Kory when she was about to be killed? Enduring Force Lightning like that? It was bloody amazing." Balek said, clearly not liking what was going on.

"But Harkun made us a deal, see. We kill you, we go home." Wydr explained.

"Come on, do we have to do this? I thought we were friends." Timmy said, attempting to reason with them.

"Do you honestly believe that Harkun will keep his word to you? He's more likely to kill you after the job is done just so Ffon can become Lord Zash's apprentice by default." Kory reasoned.

Unfortunately, the brothers wouldn't budge. Their minds were made up.

"We don't want to, and we know that there's a very high chance that he'll do that. But we know we can't beat Ffon, and we'll never be Sith. At least this way, we can go home alive." Balek said.

"Quiet, Balek. The time for talk has passed. Fight for your lives, acolytes." Wydr said.

But he soon gasped in pain as he was stabbed through the heart by one of Kory's blades before he could even draw his weapon.

"Brother! GAH!" cried Balek.

He too was struck down quickly as Timmy drew his electrostaff and slashed him across the throat, severing it and causing him to bleed out quickly. As they holstered their weapons, Timmy looked at the lifeless corpses of the men who were once his friends with sad eyes. He knelt down and closed their eyes.

"Goodbye, Wydr and Balek. Go and become one with the Force." Timmy said as he stood up.

Kory placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, but like Timmy she was seething. Harkun would pay dearly for this stunt! They quickly made their way back to Harkun's office where the smug overseer had been waiting for them.

"Well, well. Look who shows up at long last. I'd half expected to hear you'd crossed some Dark Lord upstairs and finally got yourselves killed." Harkun remarked. "None of the others have shown up either. I assume they're dead by now. Which means… you and Ffon are the last ones."

"Where is Ffon, anyway?" Kory asked, noticing the absence of the other Sith Pureblood.

"Yes, he does seem conspicuously absent." Timmy said.

"You only wish it, slaves. No, you both took so long returning, I sent Ffon ahead." Harkun said.

Timmy raised an eyeridge at that. Harkun's words gave him a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach.

"Your final trial will be to retrieve an ancient map from the innermost chamber of Naga Sadow's tomb, which has never been breached in thousands of years. But before you get the map, you'll have to awaken an ancient assassin called a Dashade that sleeps in the tomb. You cannot access the map without him, understand?" Harkun instructed.

Timmy tilted his head slightly as he thought about this. A Dashade?

"What exactly is a Dashade?" he asked.

"They're a lost race of assassins that the ancient Sith used to devour their Force-using enemies. This one'll probably eat you both the moment he's freed." Harkun replied.

But then he smirked a most unsettling smirk.

"Oh… and one more thing. You'll be competing with Ffon for this map. The one who brings it back will be Lord Zash's apprentice. The other will die." he said.

'Son of a bitch!' Timmy thought with anger.

No wonder Harkun seemed so smug!

"And Ffon's already started. So, my advice? Run, slaves… run!" Harkun sneered.

But that's when another voice snapped him out of his premature sense of accomplishment.

"Ahem! One moment, please."

The three of them turned their heads to see…

"Lord Zash… What are you doing here?" Harkun asked.

He hadn't expected to see her here.

"Overseer… are you implying that I, a Lord of the Sith, don't have the right to go where I please within the Academy of the Sith?" Lord Zash asked, her voice carrying an underlying warning.

"No, of course not, Lord Zash." Harkun said submissively, much to Timmy and Kory's delight.

"Good. I saw the last acolytes arrive. I wanted to see the hopefuls off on their final trial. Where's, um, what's his… the pink one, Ffon?" Zash asked, not remembering the name right away.

Much to Timmy's delight at the dig at Harkun's golden boy.

"He finished his trial early so I sent him on rather than keeping him waiting for this…" Harkun said.

"Pity. I just finished translating the wonderful texts that these acolytes brought back from Tulak Hord's tomb, and it's most illuminating. I don't know that the map can be retrieved without it." Zash said.

Kory couldn't stop herself from giggling at Ffon's clear misfortune due to Harkun's miscalculation.

"Oooh, Ffon's in trouble.~" she said with a sing-song voice.

Timmy smirked and crossed his arms as he said, "Looks like you really screwed the pooch on this one, Harkun."

"It's too late. Ffon's already left. You can't just-" Harkun tried to say.

"Give one acolyte an unfair advantage over the other? Overseer, when has being Sith ever been about being fair?" Zash asked, cutting off the arrogant Overseer. "Now, my dear acolyte and his lovely apprentice, here is what you must do to free the Dashade. There are rods scattered throughout the tomb of Naga Sadow. These rods are the keys to the chamber where the ancient assassin is imprisoned. You will need to place the rods in the chamber door and electrify them. I don't know exactly the reason, but it is clear that you will not be able to retrieve the map without the Dashade. But be careful, he is very dangerous."

"Is there anything else we should know about the Dashade?" Kory asked.

"It's a Force resistant assassin. I have reason to believe this one was placed in the tomb by Tulak Hord himself." Zash replied before she turned to Harkun and said, "I will return when all three acolytes are back from the tomb. You will not do anything further to alter the outcome of the trial. Understood?"

"Yes, Lord Zash." Harkun said, fully cowed.

"Good. And good luck, acolytes." Zash said to Timmy and Kory.

Once she had left, our heroes gave Harkun one last smug look before proceeding on their way. After getting directions to the tomb, they made their way to it and upon entering they could feel that this tomb was absolutely saturated in darkness. It felt as if the air had gone as cold as ice and that they would lose their souls if they weren't careful. As they entered the first chamber they saw that there were several acolytes in the tomb. All of whom were more than likely there to try and gain glory and prestige one way or another by finding and unlocking the secrets of the tomb.

"Looks like we're going to have to fight to get the rods." Timmy said, drawing his weapon.

"Did you expect this to be easy?" quipped Kory.

With a battle cry, they rushed in and started hacking and slashing away at their opponents, both acolyte and ancient droid alike. The acolytes and droids may have had quantity, but our dynamic duo has quality. They easily cut them down and came across a statue that held the first rod.

"Rod number one, done and done." quipped Timmy as he took the rod and slung it across his back.

Since there were four rods, Timmy and Kory agreed to each carry two in order to lighten the load. After about two more hours, give or take half an hour, they didn't know since they were in a tomb, they found the remaining three rods and made their way to the entrance to the chasm where they saw it. Floating in a stasis field was the Dashade.

"There he is. Our ticket to getting that map." Timmy said with a smirk.

"Strange how we haven't run into Ffon yet, don't you think?" Kory asked.

"Now that you mention it, yes. It is strange. I mean, Harkun sent him ahead of us, so if he was here we should have run into him by now." Timmy said. "Oh well. Not our problem if he gave up."

And so, Timmy and Kory continued on through the tomb, fighting their way through ancient droids that left the two in awe. Those things must have been thousands of years old, and they still work. Or, rather, they used to. But they weren't functioning once the two acolytes got done with them. It wasn't long before they arrived at the chamber where they needed to place the rods. They each placed their rods into the altars and Timmy strode to the center of the room.

"Kory, I want you to keep your distance. If something goes wrong, I don't want you getting caught in the crossfire." he said.

"Okay." Kory said with a nod, uncertainty clear on her face.

As she backed up, Timmy began to meditate in the center of the room. And that's when it happened. Lightning shot forth from the first rod and struck Timmy with a continuous blast! Then another from the second rod! Then the third! And finally the fourth! Timmy groaned in pain as he was forced to his knees while trying not to be overwhelmed.

"Timmy, no!" screamed Kory.

"Kory, stay back!" Timmy managed to yell through the pain.

He knew that if Kory interrupted the process now, that they would both die. And he wouldn't allow that to happen. So he endured the onslaught of lightning and forced himself to stand. Calling on the Force, he channeled all of the lightning into his hands, then thrust his arms forward as he unleashed a torrent of enhanced Force Lightning at the door! This went on for several seconds before the flow of lightning ceased. The great doors slid open as the lightning did its job.

Kory rushed over to Timmy, who had a little bit of smoke wafting off of him, and frantically asked, "Are you okay, Timmy?"

Timmy just breathed a sigh of relief as he replied, "Other than having just been zapped by billions of volts of electricity and smelling like bad barbeque, I'm fine."

Kory breathed a sigh of relief at that, though she did slap him upside the head for the quip, and they proceeded beyond the doors where they found the Dashade floating in the stasis field. He had a body like a humanoid but was a wall of muscle. He had beady red eyes, three claws on each hand that appeared to be flexible like fingers, and two huge talons on each foot. His skin was green with a beige underbelly and red markings in the center of his face and abdomen. All he wore for clothing was a loincloth and a utility belt.

Letting out what sounded like a bitter laugh, the creature spoke in the ancient Sith language.

It said, "All the world conspires to mock me! Tulak Hord! I waited for you. I did everything you said! And this is what you send me?"

Fortunately for Timmy and Kory, they had studied and become fluent in the ancient Sith language and could understand the Dashade perfectly.

"Fate is cruel to me, little ones. But not as cruel as it is to you. You have made a terrible mistake." he said.

Timmy simply replied with, "You don't exactly sound sane."

"No. Ha! No, little one. I am perfectly sane. The world mocks me, and I laugh with it." the Dashade chuckled. "I am Khem Val, servant of Tulak Hord, who was called Lord of Hate. Master of the Gathering Darkness. Dark Lord of the Sith. Together, Tulak Hord and I devoured our enemies at the battles of Yn and Chabosh and brought the entire Dromund system to its knees. And now I await his return."

"Well, that sounds like quite the story. But, um, how should I put this?" Timmy said, scratching the back of his head nervously. "It truly is a shame, but Tulak Hord is dead."

"Dead? My Lord, why didn't you come for me? I would have died with you… no, I would have slain death itself…" Khem said, mourning his master before setting his sights on Timmy and Kory. "As for you, you should not have come here. For I hunger… and I will devour you!"

With a mighty war cry, Khem freed himself of the stasis field and fell to the ground with a heavy thud! Timmy was quick to draw his electro staff while telling Kory to stay back. If this guy wanted a fight, then Timmy would give him one.

"Well then, Khem Val, if you want a fight…" Timmy readied his weapon as Khem drew his, which was a large electrosword. "Bring it on!"

With a mighty roar, Khem charged at Timmy who fired off a blast of Force Lightning. True to Zash's warnings, this did nothing to even slow him down. Khem brought his blade down in an upperhand swing which Timmy was quick to block, but he found himself groaning from the strain of doing so. The Dashade's physical strength is like nothing he's ever felt before. But he quickly repelled the attack and started using his superior agility and smaller stature to his advantage. He switched up his fighting style to Ataru to try and confuse the Dashade using sick flips and twirls that would make any parkour specialist's head explode. Timmy was getting in a few hits here and there, but it was no use. Khem was easily keeping up with the young Sith Pureblood.

Eventually, the two locked weapons as Timmy gave Khem a grin. He was breathing hard, and sweat was trickling down his brow. At long last, he was facing a worthy opponent.

"You fight well, Khem Val." Timmy said.

"And you have proven to be a stronger adversary than I realized, little one. When I finally consume you, I shall be sure to savor every morsel." Khem replied.

"Well, that's both flattering and disturbing." Timmy quipped.

Then he kicked Khem in the stomach which caused him to stumble back a few steps. Taking advantage, Timmy pressed his assault. He was slashing, twirling, stabbing, leaping to and fro, doing whatever damage he could to the mighty Dashade. But even so, Timmy was also taking a fair amount of damage in the form of shallow cuts and burn marks. Even bruises from the former servant of Tulak Hord. Eventually, Timmy managed to disarm Khem and struck him across the chest! The mighty Dashade fell to his knees and Timmy held the end of his electrostaff at the behemoth's throat.

"Enough! Enough…" Khem shouted. "Defeated! Defeated! Why did you not come for me, Tulak? Why have you allowed your servant to be reduced to this?"

Khem Val laughed bitterly as he rose to his feet.

"Fine, little one. In my great weakness, you have defeated me, so I must serve you. This is the law that binds me. But you are not my master."

Timmy showed no outward reaction, but inwardly he was shocked. He had this much trouble against Khem and this was only while the Dashade was in a weakened state? Then again, it made sense. Khem has been stuck in this tomb for who knows how long so it's only natural that his strength has waned after all of this time spent locked up. Timmy was certain that if Khem had been at full strength, he and Kory would be Dashade food by now.

Shaking off his momentary fear, Timmy said, "Fine. Then, let's go."

"As you say, little one." Khem said, bowing his head. "But someday, I will regain my strength."

"Oh, just one more thing before I forget." Timmy said as he brought Kory next to him. "You see Kory here?"

At Khem's nod, Timmy said, "She is a dear friend of mine and has been by my side since the beginning of my time at the Sith Academy. So, if you're taking orders from me, then you will also treat any instructions from Kory as if they were instructions from me. Unless, of course, they conflict with any instructions I have previously given you. Am I understood?"

"Perfectly, little Sith." Khem replied.

With Khem Val now a part of their little ragtag group of Sith, Timmy and Kory continued on to the location of the map. Unfortunately, they hit a small hurdle in the form of a walled off passageway.

"Great… how do we get through there?" Kory asked.

"If we had a few thermal detonators, we could blow the wall open, but that might damage the structural integrity of the tomb." Timmy said.

Khem simply walked ahead and said, "Allow me."

The two watched with raised eyebrows as Khem reared back his fist… and punched a hole straight through the wall! The hole was big enough that all three of them could fit through it no problem. Timmy couldn't help but grin.

"Nice work, Khem." he said.

They continued on and easily took care of the Shyracks that infested this new section of the tomb. After about half an hour more of navigating the tomb they finally found the chamber which held the map. Only…

"Is that a friggin' Tarantatek?" screamed Kory.

"Oh, this day just keeps getting better and better." Timmy sarcastically quipped.

"Do not falter, Little Sith. Keep your eyes forward at all times and we shall slay all who oppose us! We shall feast upon our enemies!" Khem said whilst flexing his claws.

Timmy took a few deep breaths and calmed himself. Khem was right. Second-guessing himself would only get him and those around him killed. He had to focus on the here and now, not the past.

"Alright. Let's end the beast!" exclaimed Timmy.

Timmy roared and sent a blast of Force Lightning at the Tarantatek causing the massive beast to roar in pain. It set its sight upon them and rushed at the group. Kory applied her use of the Force by lifting a large chunk of stone and chucking it at the beast. While this did some damage, it was far from enough to kill it. The Tarentatek threw a strong punch at Timmy which landed and sent the Sith Pureblood flying back until he slammed into a wall!

"Owww…" groaned Timmy as he fell to the ground, leaving a spiderweb of cracks in the wall.

He growled like a wolf defending its pack as he stood up and called his weapon to him with the Force, then electrified it with Force Lightning.

"Kory, start building up Force Lightning, and wait until I give the signal to fire." Timmy commanded.

"W-What? Why?" Kory asked.

"Trust me, Kory. Khem, cover me!" Timmy said as he rushed in.

The Tarentatek roared and tried to smash Timmy like a bug beneath its large feet, but Timmy rolled out of the way. And Khem caught the creature's large fist just as Timmy jumped up and landed on the Tarentatek before stabbing his weapon into its head drawing a roar of pain from the Tarentatek.

"Now! Aim for the staff!" exclaimed Timmy as he and Khem jumped back.

"Eat this, you spiky headed freak!" yelled Kory as she loosed a blast of Force Lightning.

This proved to work perfectly as the electrostaff acted like a lightning rod and zapped the creature so badly that it was cooked alive from the inside out! By the time it was over, the creature was burnt black on the outside and had fallen over dead as a doornail. As Kory caught her breath from her attack, Timmy gave a big smile at their victory. Which was soon lost as Khem jabbed his hand into the Tarentatek's skull and tore out its brain before eating said organ right in front of them.

"I'm really glad we didn't eat before coming here…" groaned Kory who looked a little green at the sight.

Timmy just sighed and walked up the stairs to the altar in the room and retrieved the map. He was smiling again as he practically skipped down the stairs and ran to his companions, laughing as he brought Kory into a bear hug. Which she happily returned.

"Whoo! We got the map!" Timmy cheered, raising his hand up to Khem for a high five. "Up high!"

"Yes, it is." Khem commented with a blank expression.

Stunned by the Dashade, Timmy sheepishly lowered his hand.

"Down low?"

Once again, he was met with a blank face from the Dashade which made him awkwardly pull his hand away.

"Too.. slow?"

Khem just chuckled and said, "Little Sith, it is you who is too slow."

"Ugh, never mind. Let's just get out of here." groaned Timmy.

As he walked away, Khem actually showed some surprise.

"What?" he asked. "What'd I say?"

But he got no response as Kory just shook her head with a fond smile and followed Timmy as he was walking out of the tomb. Seeing he wasn't going to get a response, Khem just shrugged his shoulders and jogged to catch up to his new master and his apprentice.

A while later, the trio had exited Naga Sadow's tomb and Khem commented on how things had changed since Tulak Hord's time. Which made Timmy feel for the guy, since he was no longer in what would be considered his own time. Pretty soon, they were entering Harkun's office where they saw the Overseer and Ffon looking absolutely panicked and stressed.

"I'm telling you Overseer, it cannot be done. I went into the tomb, I saw the Dashade across the chasm, but I could not get to it." Ffon said.

"But the map! The map! Lord Zash is adamant, she will not take an apprentice without the map!" exclaimed Harkun.

"I'm telling you, Lord Zash wants the impossible. No one is ever going to get that map!" Ffon said.

Both Ffon and Harkun's attention was caught by the sound of someone clearing their throat. They turned around and saw Timmy, Kory, and Khem striding into the office with Timmy holding something in his hand with a smug grin. One that was most appropriate.

"You don't mean this map, do you?" he asked.

"The map! And… the Dashade! G-Get that monster out of here this instant! And give me the map." demanded Harkun.

"No, it's not possible! You wretch, you filth… You must have cheated somehow." Ffon exclaimed, feeling his world crumbling around him. "How did you do it? How did you release the monster?"

"I am not a monster. I am Khem Val, servant of Tulak Hord, devourer of the rebels at Yn and Chabosh, consumer of the Dromund system. And I am hungry." growled Khem.

"R-Right… you-you must have cheated… you must have. You'll pay for this." stuttered Ffon.

"Ffon! Patience. You will have your chance at this whelp… after you personally deliver this map to Lord Zash." Harkun said.

But as Harkun tried to swipe the map away, he found himself crying out in agony as he felt a searing pain coming from his arm! As he stumbled back, groaning, he looked to his arm and saw that there was nothing but a stump below the elbow. He looked back up and saw Kory sending him the deadliest glare anyone has ever seen from her, one of her vibroblades in hand and dripping with fresh blood.

His blood.

"You bitch! What do you think you're - GH-HRRK!"

But Ffon couldn't finish that sentence as he was suddenly grabbed in a stranglehold by Khem who lifted him up by the neck using one hand. Timmy had leveled his own glare at the Overseer and his little pet.

"You know, Harkun, I've tolerated your hatred of me for long enough. Ever since I got here you've treated me less than the worms in the dirt because I was a slave. Took every chance you could get to kill me by giving me trials that most would call impossible to complete while giving Ffon simple tasks that can't even count as trials. And now, you have the nerve to try and undermine Lord Zash's authority by interfering with the trial to make it appear as if Ffon was the one to bring her the map and not me and Kory? You fool!" Timmy ranted before facing the Dashade. "Go ahead. Eat them both, Khem."

"With pleasure, Little Sith." Khem replied with his version of a grin.

Before he could consume them, however, Lord Zash walked into the room.

"Keep your pet at bay for just a moment, acolyte. I would have a word with Harkun." she said.

"Lord Zash?" Timmy asked, signalling to Khem to put Ffon down.

And the Dashade dropped the pitiful acolyte on the ground. Albeit reluctantly.

"Yes, Timothy. Now, what exactly happened here?" Zash asked.

"Don't listen to a word of what this slave says, my lord! He will fill your head with nothing but lies and-" Harkun tried to say, clutching the bleeding stump where his arm used to be.

"Silence!" snapped Zash. "Timothy will tell me. Won't you, Timothy? Clearly you didn't just attack an Overseer of the academy and a fellow acolyte on a whim."

"You are correct, My Lord. Me and Kory, along with the Dashade, Khem Val here, had just returned to Harkun's office and heard Ffon complaining about it being impossible to access the chamber where Khem was sealed away. Not surprising, since he wasn't around to hear the information that you had given us. Anyway, when Ffon said that nobody would be able to get the map, we made our presence known and presented the map. Here you go, by the way." Timmy explained as he handed Lord Zash the map.

"Ah, magnificent. Excellent work, both of you." Zash said as she looked over the map and pocketed it before saying, "Please continue."

"Right, so upon seeing that we had brought the map back and succeeded where Ffon had failed, Harkun attempted to fix the results of the trial in Ffon's favor. He attempted to take the map from me and Kory cut off his arm in defense of me. Things escalated from there." Timmy said.

Naturally, Lord Zash was quite pissed off by the audacity of the Overseer and was quite vocal about her outrage.

"Harkun, you fool. In any other group for any other lord, this young man would have torn the other acolytes to shreds. What were you trying to prove? That you could outsmart me? That the likes of you and Thanaton knew better than me what kind of person I wanted for an apprentice?" she demanded, laying into Harkun. "You fool!"

She then proceeded to attack Ffon with a powerful wave of Force Lightning, drawing cries of agony from the Sith Pureblood. By the time she was done, Ffon was nothing more than a charred husk of bone that collapsed to the ground. Dead from being electrocuted to such a degree.

"Ffon…!" gasped Harkun.

"There's your pet, Harkun. Clean this mess up." Zash ordered before facing Timmy and saying, "Apprentice, meet me in my chambers upstairs tomorrow morning. And be sure to bring your apprentice and your Dashade with you."

Timmy bowed his head and replied, "Yes, master."

After that display, he knew that he would need to stay on her good side. Zash walked out of the office towards her personal chambers and when she was far enough away, Kory sent Harkun a rather smug look as she placed a hand on her hip.

"She sure showed you, Harkun. Maybe next time you'll learn to obey your superiors, huh?" she said.

"This isn't the end. Without Lord Zash to save you, you're both nothing. I have connections that will hunt you wherever you go." snarled Harkun.

The response he got from Timmy wasn't what he was expecting.

"I'm sorry, Harkun. I know that none of us got along very well, but you did your best to teach us. And for that, you have my thanks." Timmy said with a bow.

"What?" Harkun said, taken aback. "Well… uh… I suppose it is the job of a teacher to inspire their students… Anyway, you should get some rest. Your new master is expecting you in the morning, apprentice."

With all of that said and done, the trio exited Harkun's office after Harkun left to get medical attention in hopes of saving his arm. And if not, he would get a cybernetic prosthetic.

"Did you really mean what you said to Harkun?" Kory asked when they were far enough away.

Timmy just laughed and said, "Nah. I just wanted to leave him confused. Now, come on you two. Let's get some shut-eye."

Kory couldn't agree more. She wanted nothing more than to sleep off the stress of these last few trials. So, they went to the academy dorms to get some sleep. For tomorrow would be the start of their new lives as Sith apprentices.

***To Be Continued…***

Ending A/N: And so ends yet another chapter of this story! Timmy has finished his trials on Korriban and will soon be headed to Dromund Kaas. I have to admit, though, I seriously considered putting this story up for adoption. I was going to consult a dear friend of mine who is also an author here on Fanfiction if he would be interested in adopting and rewriting this story, but I've decided that I'm not going to quit on this story just yet. I'm going to do my absolute best to see this story through to the end! So, until next time! Please don't forget to cast your votes on which path as a Sith Timmy should take! May the Force be with you, and I'll see you all next time my fellow Jedi, Sith, Balance Walkers, and Mandalorians alike!
