"The only real heroes I see here are Thirteen and Eraserhead," Kurogiri noted. "Perplexing. According to the schedule we retrieved from UA, All Might should be here as well."

Hordes of thugs crawled out of Kurogiri's body, moving into a loosely organized formation. It was supposed to be more organized according to the plan, to give the heroes the impression that these were elite professionals and not just an assortment of gangsters and junkies picked up off the street. Oh well, it would have to do.

What was more annoying was that Kurogiri was right: Looking at the main entrance, only Eraserhead and Thirteen were there protecting the brats. Both of them would be out of their comfort zone facing a horde of villains, Thirteen was a rescue hero and Eraser was only used to 1-on-1 fights.

"So you scumbags used the press as a cover and sneaked onto campus", Eraserhead deduced. He really was a clever one wasn't he?

Tomura Shigaraki itched his neck in frustration. "Where is he? I went through the trouble of bringing so many friends who are eager to meet him. They want All Might, the great Symbol of Peace. I can't believe he's not here!"

Why was this happening to him? All this planning, and he wouldn't even be able to get past the first level! How was he supposed to win when the final boss himself couldn't even be bothered to show up? It was like that buggy RPG he played, the one where he could run up a vertical wall with a horse.

Now the only heroes he'd get to destroy were Eraserhead and Thirteen, hardly as impressive an accomplishment as offing the symbol of peace. Of course, those little brats were still there, quaking in their brightly colored boots. The future of hero society, terrified by just a handful of thugs he gathered in an afternoon.

Actually, that could be perfect. In fact, it was so perfect that Tomura had to stifle a laugh. Imagine it, the symbol of peace arriving to save the day, only to find that the kids that were supposed to be under his protection were slaughtered while he was off doing god knows what! He'd be devastated. And it would make him that much easier to kill.

"Maybe if I kill a few kids he'll come out to play!" Tomura cackled. If those kids weren't terrified before, they'd be pissing their pants right now.

Not everyone was so intimidated though. The instant Tomura finished his sentence, Eraserhead's hair and scarf began floating menacingly. That guy was actually pretty cool. And it would be even cooler to get to kill him!

"I AM IRA GAMAGOORI! DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE CHAIR OF HONNOUJI ACADEMY! THIS CITY IS NOW THE PROPERTY OF SATSUKI KIRYUIN AND THE STUDENT COUNCIL! ALL HERO AGENCIES IN THE CITY ARE EXPECTED TO SURRENDER THEMSELVES BY SUNDOWN, OR THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES!"

The Elite was standing in the middle of a wrecked commercial street, surrounded by a barricade of police cruisers, Special Assault Teams, and pro heroes. By now, the police had exhausted their supply of bullets, all of which bounced off of the giant's uniform. They'd even called in a chopper, which was now on the ground in a smoldering wreck. Despite the carnage, there was still a large number of civilian bystanders watching what they likely considered a spectacle.

Kamui Woods, Edgeshot, and Death Arms were all hiding behind a car tossed aside by the massive man like it was a toy. One minute they were all off on patrol in their hometowns, the next they got a call from Kashek's police department telling them that Honnouji forces were attacking.

How did he get into the middle of Kashek so easily? The city was nowhere near the border with the Kiryuin territories, the only way he could have gotten in without detection was through airdrop.

"I've had enough of this!" Death Arms yelled. "Let's just go get him!"

"No! We have to play this smart!" Kamui cried out to his colleague, but it was too late.

Death Arms ran towards Gamagoori, who was too busy yelling to notice, prepared to punch the villain at full force. Using both of his arms, he drove his fists into the giant's back, hoping to catch him off guard. However, Gamagoori didn't even stumble as he turned to face the hero who tried to attack him.

"WELL, LOOKS LIKE I'VE GOT MY FIRST VOLUNTEER!" Gamagoori smirked as he picked the pro with one hand. "CONSIDER YOURSELF AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT HAPPENS TO THOSE WHO DEFY HONNOUJI ACADEMY AND SATSUKI KIRYUIN!"

He took back his arm, ready to punch Death Arms who was still struggling in his grasp. A punch like that would certainly break bones, if not worse. Death Arms kept struggling, but braced himself for the inevitable. Fortunately it never arrived.

"Lacquered Chain Prison!"

Kamui's arms had morphed into dozens of wooden tendrils, restraining Gamagoori's arm. Gamagoori growled in frustration, tossing Death Arms aside like a rag doll and using his now free hand to smash the wooden prison like they were twigs. Two barbed whips then shot out from under his sleeves, firmly trapping both Kamui Woods and Death Arms. With a yell, he then raised both of them up before violently slamming them into the pavement.

Kamui's head spun, doubting that he could take another hit like that. Death Arms definitely couldn't, who was now out cold. Gamagoori lifted them both into the air, but before he could bring them down, a thin red line pierced through both whips, severing both heroes from the villain's grasp.

"You're mad if you think us heroes will surrender quietly!" Edgeshot yelled. "We'll always be here to protect the innocent from villains like you!"

Edgeshot leaped into the air, high above Gamagoori's head. The Elite tried grabbing the ninja themed hero, but he gracefully twisted and folded his body around in the air, avoiding every strike. Once he landed, he flattened his entire body into a long, pointed string. He shot off towards Gamagoori at the speed of sound, aiming to pierce cleanly through his uniform.

"Ninpo: Thousand Sheet Pierce!"

Edgeshot had made his body as thin as possible, aiming for the giant's chest. Thousand Sheet Pierce was his super move, able to instantly incapacitate any opponent by piercing their chest and cutting off blood flow to the brain. It was a great way for him to take out troublesome villains without causing too much permanent damage. At least, that's what should have happened.

Gamagoori smirked at the Ninja Hero, whose special attack had simply stopped in its tracks upon coming into contact with his uniform. Edgeshot was still paralyzed with shock when Gamagoori hit him with a vicious uppercut, launching him across the street and crashing into a fifth-story window.

"THAT WAS THE NUMBER FIVE HERO IN THE COUNTRY? THAT WAS PATHETIC!" Gamagoori roared. "THIS WHOLE HERO SOCIETY IS PATHETIC! AND THAT'S WHY IT WILL BE DESTROYED!"

By now, the few bystanders who were watching the fight unfold were now fleeing in terror. No doubt that seeing a top ten hero get taken out so easily was what inspired such fear. Even the police and some pros were beginning to try and flee, only to be wrapped up in Gamagoori's whips and smashed into a wall. Kamui Woods couldn't exactly blame them, this whole situation looked rather hopeless. Who could possibly save them now?

"NEVER FEAR DEAR CITIZENS! BECAUSE I AM HERE!"

All Might was soaring through the sky on his way to UA, trying to make it in time so he could teach a class at the USJ. However, the HeroNet update that a villain was terrorizing Kashek city quickly put a hold on those plans. Of course All Might valued punctuality, but he couldn't just not help citizens and heroes in need. What kind of hero would he be then?

Seeing the scene below, he was glad he made the choice to come and help. This wasn't just some street-level thug, but Ira Gamagoori, one of Satsuki Kiryuin's Elite Four. He'd fought them in the past, and each one was still an extraordinary challenge, pushing him past his limits with each fight. Gamagoori was probably the worst, his uniform absorbed each blow even when they landed. However, he didn't know he was coming, so he could get off a sneak attack.

"MISSOURI SMASH!"

All Might chopped at the back of Gamagoori's neck, making him stumble forward and land into the street headfirst. He recovered quickly though, getting up and dusting himself off after less than a second. Crap, that was supposed to take him out with one hit!

"ALL MIGHT!" Gamagoori glared darkly at the number one hero, slowly marching towards him. "YOU'RE THE REASON WHY THIS SOCIETY IS SO WEAK! YOU INSPIRE COMPLACENCY, ASSURING PEOPLE THAT THEY DON'T HAVE TO HELP THEMSELVES BECAUSE YOU'LL DO IT FOR THEM!"

All Might scowled at the massive man's comments. Typical villain speech, trying to make their actions sound noble. "A HERO IS SUPPOSED TO SAVE THOSE WHO CAN'T SAVE THEMSELVES, HELP THOSE WHO CAN'T HELP THEMSELVES! WE LIFT EACH OTHER UP, WHILE ALL YOU DO IS PUT OTHERS DOWN!"

"WELL, THEN I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO PUT YOU DOWN TOO!" Gamagoori bellowed. "THREE STAR GOKU UNIFORM: SHACKLE REGALIA!"

A burst of golden light engulfed Gamagoori, making All Might wince from its brightness. Once the light had faded, he was met with the familiar sight of Gamagoori's mummy-like transformation. As soon as the transformation was complete, All Might rushed towards Gamagoori, rapidly pummeling him with strikes. Each blow made shockwaves that cracked the pavement and shattered windows, but the giant stood rooted in place.

"HAVEN'T YOU LEARNED ANYTHING?" Gamagoori taunted. "SHACKLE REGALIA IS IMPERVIOUS TO DAMAGE! YOUR ATTACKS CAN'T DO A THING TO ME! I WOULDN'T EVEN CONSIDER THAT A PROPER PUNISHMENT!"

Gamagoori swelled up like a balloon, pushing All Might back. Contrary to what Gamagoori said, he had in fact learned from their previous fights. Those were only low power strikes, not true smashes. Gamagoori was right, he couldn't hope to penetrate his uniform. At least not in its current state. He needed to bait out a counter-attack, which would inevitably be-

"THREE STAR GOKU UNIFORM: SCOURGE REGALIA!"

The cloth wrappings on Gamagoori's uniform exploded into scores of barbed whips, carving through buildings and flipping cars. All Might tried dodging, but there were too many of them and they were too fast. Since he hadn't punched him at full force, All Might had hoped that the resulting counter-attack wouldn't be as strong. While admittedly it was weaker than usual, that didn't mean it didn't hurt like hell. All Might could bear through the pain though, he had him right where he wanted!

Without Shackle Regalia's harder exterior, All Might could actually damage Gamagoori. The only problem would be getting past all those whips. Even after the initial explosion, the whips continued to lash at him, almost like they had a mind of their own. Gamagoori was at the eye of a hurricane of whips, there was no way All Might could get in close without being hit.

Well, no pain no gain as the saying goes! All Might trudged past Gamagoori's onslaught, despite being hit in his stomach wound more than a few times. All Might coughed a little bit of blood into his hand, hoping his opponent didn't see that.

Shit, this would probably be the end of his hero work today. For now though, he had finally made it to Gamagoori, now all he needed to do was finish him off with a-

"TEXAS SMASH!"

The blow never connected though, as Gamagoori had caught All Might's fist in his massive hand. Shit, he'd underestimated the giant's speed. He'd seen him deflect bullets with nothing more than a whip before. However, he was visibly shaking under the force of the punch and had been pushed back significantly, despite digging into the pavement as best he could.

Oh well, it wouldn't be as clean of a win as he wanted, but one more smash should do the trick. Before All Might could even think of an American state, the whips began retracting towards Gamagoori and wrapping him back up in Shackle Regalia.

Damnit! His one chance to take an Elite out for good and he blew it! There was no way Gamagoori would leave an opening like that again, he'd have to come up with a new plan. And fast.

"NICE TRY!" Gamagoori laughed. "BUT AS LONG AS I HAVE MY GOKU UNIFORM, YOU CAN'T MOVE ME AN INCH!"

Wait, move him... that was it! If he couldn't knock Gamagoori out, he just had to move him somewhere else! All Might ran to Gamagoori, who was unable to attack him due to being in Shackle Regalia. He wrapped his arms around the villain, who could only wiggle around in protest.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" Gamagoori demanded.

"I'M MOVING YOU SOMEWHERE ELSE! NOW HAVE A NICE FLIGHT!"

All Might jumped as high as he could, Gamagoori in his hold. Within a few seconds, the two of them were high above the city skyline, almost touching the clouds. From here, he could see the coast just a few kilometers away. Perfect.

"NEW YORK SMASH!"

All Might hurled Gamagoori towards the ocean like a human missile. Admittedly it wasn't actually a smash, but he had a theme to uphold! The villain screamed in protest, but it soon faded out just like the man himself faded into a small twinkle in the sky.

The number one hero landed on his feet, making a large crater in the process. By now, the bystanders had gathered back around, hoping to get a closer look at their savior. All Might simply laughed and waved to them before leaping away, he still had a class to get to after all!

Until his skin started to emit steam that was.

Toshinori Yagi collapsed on the roof of an abandoned building, scanning to make sure no one was around. He clutched his stomach in agony, he really pushed himself to the limit in that last fight. Damn, how weak was he getting these days? Giving One For All to young Midoriya must have been speeding up the process. He wouldn't be able to be the symbol of peace for much longer.

Speaking of young Midoriya, Toshinori hadn't forgotten what he told young Bakugo yesterday. While it was more than concerning that his successor had already told someone about their secret, he knew it wasn't to brag or show off, so he couldn't blame him too much for that. And fortunately young Bakugo seemed to dismiss young Midoriya's statement entirely.

Still, letting anyone know about the secret of One For All could be disastrous. If villains knew about it, they'd stop at nothing to get that power. Toshinori shuddered at the thought of One For All falling into Honnouji Academy's or worse, his hands.

In fact, he shuddered so much he started to cough up blood again. Yeah, he was going to be taking the day off.

Ryuko Matoi held her scissor blade tightly in her hands, staring at the villains that had infiltrated the facility. There was no point in fooling herself, without Senketsu she was actually a little scared. Especially since that hand guy said that they would be specifically targeting students.

"What? Real villains, no way!" Kirishima exclaimed in disbelief. "How could so many of them get into a UA facility this secure?"

"Yeah. Thirteen, why aren't the alarms going off?" Momo asked.

"Good question, I'm not sure," Thirteen answered.

That was odd. Ryuko could believe that the villains were able to enter the facility, as they arrived through portal, but the alarms not going off seemed very suspicious to her. Could it have had something to do with the lights going off? Maybe one of the villains had a quirk that disable electronics.

"Is the entire campus under attack? Or is this their only target?" Todoroki asked. "Either way, if the alarm sensors aren't being triggered, then one of these villains must have a quirk that's masking their presence here. They carefully chose this isolated as an entry point at a time when a class was being taught. They're fools for trespassing here, but they thought this out. Whatever their plan, they must have a concrete objective in mind, but what is it?"

Well that was just perfect. Not only were they being attacked by bloodthirsty psychopaths, but they were actually capable of coming up with plans! Todoroki was right, they clearly wanted something from them, otherwise they wouldn't have gone through the trouble of using the press as a cover to steal UA schedules. Maybe they wanted something with All Might? After all, hand guy asked where he was and said his "friends" were eager to meet him.

"Thirteen, get the out of here and alert the main campus!" Aizawa ordered. 'Actually, if they've got the ability to block our sensors, they might be jamming our regular communications too. Kaminari, try using your quirk to contact the school."

"Yes sir!" Kaminari obliged.

"What are you gonna do?" Midoriya asked. "You can't fight them on your own. There's too many of them. Even if you can nullify their quirks, you fighting style isn't suited for this. Your power works best in stealth and one-on-one fights, that's not gonna help in a group."

"We could always fight them ourselves," Ryuko suggested. She wasn't too sure how well that would actually go, but it was better than standing around and waiting to be killed! "Sure they outnumber us, but we have the powers to take out a big chunk of them!"

"No, I won't let any of you get in harm's way," Aizawa shot down the suggestion. "And Midoriya, you can't be a pro if you only have one trick. I'll leave it to you Thirteen!"

Ryuko's homeroom teacher leaped down the stairs, scarf in hand. A group of villains attempted to attack him, only to be wrapped up in his scarf before they could realize their quirks weren't working. She had to admit, she didn't expect Aizawa to be that cool. As much as she would have loved to watch him take down hordes of villains, they needed to leave now.

She grabbed Midoriya, who was still watching Aizawa, and the two started running to the front entrance with the rest of their class. However, said door was like a hundred meters away. Why did they have to make the stairs so far away from the entrance?

Before they could even make it halfway to the door, a black and purple vortex opened beneath the ground in front of them. A being that seemed to be made entirely of the same stuff as the vortex emerged, its yellow eyes staring them down.

"There is no escape for you," the mist man spoke in a deep rumble. "It's a pleasure to meet you, we are the League of Villains. I know it's impolite, but we decided to invite ourselves into this haven of justice to say hello. And besides, isn't this a fitting place for All Might, the Symbol of Peace, to take his last breath?"

Take his last breath? So they were here to kill All Might. That explained why they went to such great efforts to attack him when he was most vulnerable. But who among them could actually do it? Did they plan to simply overwhelm him with numbers?

"He was supposed to be here today and yet I see no sign of him," the mist man continued. "There must have been some sort of change in plans we could not have foreseen. Ah well, in the end I suppose it doesn't matter, I still have a role to play!"

Ryuko quivered with rage. These bastards thought they could just show up and intimidate them with their little "League of Villains"? Hell no! She was gonna teach these punks a lesson! Ryuko jumped at the villain, howling a battlecry. She was pleased to see that Kirishima was by her side. She was less than pleased to see that Bakugo was too.

Her scissor blade swung for the villain's head, dispersing the mist everywhere. Bakugo followed suit, firing off a massive explosion that completely covered him. And her too. Ryuko growled, the explosion didn't hurt her, but she wouldn't exactly turn down a reason to hate Bakugo.

"Did you think we were just gonna stand around and let you tear this place to shreds?" Kirishima asked confidently.

Ryuko watched the smoke intently, waiting for it to clear. Hopefully their combined attack was enough to take the villain out. However, the black mist began to part the smoke, reassembling itself into its original shape. Damnit! How could that attack not have worked? There was no way he dodged it, he must have been completely immune to physical attacks! How was she supposed to beat someone like that?

"You live up to your school's reputation," the mist man mockingly complimented. "But you should be more careful children, otherwise someone might get hurt!"

"You three! Get out of the way right now!" Thirteen ordered.

"I'll scatter you across this facility!" the mist man shouted, transforming his body into smoky tendrils. "To meet my comrades! And your deaths!"

The misty tendrils completely surrounded the class, trapping them in a storm of black fog. Ryuko shielded herself using her blade, but the dark storm pushed her back. She looked around her for her classmates, but all she could see was pure darkness. Eventually, she couldn't even feel the ground under her feet.

Ryuko was falling. She couldn't tell where or how fast, but she knew the distinct feeling. All around her, there was nothing but inky blackness. So it must have been that mist man's doing. Was he trying to teleport her somewhere? Or just trap her completely?

Her question was answered by the sight of concrete about five meters beneath her. Ryuko braced herself. but still landed on her butt. Next to her, her scissor blade clattered on the ground. At least that thing made it. She stood up, gently massaging herself after picking up her scissor blade. Where the hell was she?

It looked like she was in some kind of city, only everything was completely trashed. Debris was everywhere, ranging from small pieces of concrete to massive chunks of buildings. Speaking of buildings, most of them were falling over if not worse. Just what happened here? Some kind of earthquake or a villain attack probably. It would explain why there wasn't anyone around.

Anyone except the seven foot tall brute wearing a gas mask holding an equally large battleaxe. The second Ryuko saw the man she ducked behind a wall, hoping the villain didn't see her. The villain turned towards her location and began slowly walking to her. Ok, so he had seen her.

"Ah! Looks like I've found my first catch! I'm gonna enjoy killing one of you UA twerps!" the villain boasted.

Ryuko wasn't going to give him the chance to get in the first attack. She jumped out from her hiding spot and slashed at the villain's weapon with her scissor blade. The crimson blade cut through the shaft of the villain's weapon like a hot knife through butter. Before he could realize what happened, the axe head fell to the ground with a loud clang.

That... wasn't what she was expecting. She'd actually kind of expected him to react and block her with his axe, forcing them to lock weapons. That was probably just the result of being conditioned to fight Satsuki Kiryuin and her thugs though, she had to remember that there were very few who could match their speed and power. But these guys were planning to kill All Might, shouldn't they have been a little stronger?

Well, if she was going to have to fight a bunch of weaklings, she might as well use this as an opportunity to practice holding back. After all, it probably wouldn't look good if she actually killed someone, even in self-defense. The villain stumbled backwards, but managed to stabilize himself before completely falling over. Ryuko couldn't see his expression under his mask, but she could tell he was leering at her.

"Hm, you're actually pretty cute!" the villain said lecherously. "I hope you don't mind if I get a little handsy with you before I kill you!"

Ryuko's eyes widened in shock before narrowing into a glare. Yeah, forget about holding back. The villain reached out to grab her, but she pivoted around his arm. She struck him in the abdomen, his ribs making a sickening crack under the force. While the villain gasped for air, Ryuko brought her knee to his crotch as hard as she could. The villain was launched into a ruined building so fast it collapsed even more.

The villain was groaning in pain, trying to figure out what just happened. Ryuko ran over to him and drove her scissor blade into the ground, right between his legs. It was just close enough that the blade cut through the cloth of his pants. He let out a high pitched squeal as he tried covering his groin, but Ryuko grabbed him by the neck and pulled him toward her.

"If you ever want to have kids you'll tell me exactly what's going on!" Ryuko demanded.

"Ok I'll talk! I'll talk!" the villain sobbed. "I'll tell you whatever you want to know! Just please don't do it!"

"First question: Where the hell are we?"

"Wait, you don't know?" the villain looked at her like she just grew a second head. "We're still in your training facility, it's some kind of fake city for whatever training you guys do here."

They were still in the USJ? Ryuko looked around and saw that the villain was right. Far off in the distance she could make out the shape of the fountain at the USJ's central plaza. And above the smog that blanketed the ruined city, Ryuko could see the unmistakable glass dome of the USJ. So if she was still in the USJ, that probably meant her classmates were too.

"Next question: Who are the League of Villains?"

"I don't know," the villain admitted. "I didn't even know there was a league until that misty guy, Kurogiri, called us that. I was looking for my next victim, minding my own business, when this kid with a hand on his face appeared out of nowhere. He asked if I wanted to wanted to kill All Might and some kids so I said 'Sure, saves me the trouble of finding some on my own.'"

So these villains were just some thugs brought together by the hand guy. That explained why there were so many of them and why they were so weak. But there was still one question that remained.

"The plan to kill All Might. What is it?"

"There isn't one," the villain said. Seeing Ryuko tilt her blade towards his crotch quickly made him clarify. "I swear I'm telling the truth! We were all just gathered into these portals and told to kill anyone we saw! I'm just here to make sure no one leaves this zone! It's the hand guy, I think his name was Shig-something, who knows what's going on!"

That didn't explain a whole lot to Ryuko, but at least she now knew the basics of what was going on. These guys were never actually meant to threaten All Might, they were just a distraction for this Shiggy's real plan. What exactly that plan was, she'd have to find out.

"So are you gonna let me go?" the villain asked hopefully.

Of course, she still had to deal with this piece of human garbage. Obviously she couldn't leave him alone, but it wasn't like she had any kind of capture gear with her. The only thing she had was her scissor blade. Which she supposed was as good enough as any blunt object.

"Sorry, but I can't exactly let someone like you go," Ryuko apologized insincerely. "Have a nice nap!"

She slammed the hilt of her blade into the side of the villain's head as hard as she could. It was powerful enough that the mask the villain was wearing completely crumpled, and the villain himself soon slumped over, unconscious.

Well, at least that was wrapped up. What would she do now though? She could try and find her other classmates, but finding any of them would be nearly impossible in the massive training facility. Besides, by the time she reached any of them they'd already be done fighting, for better or for worse. She could also try stopping whatever Shiggy was planning, but if he had a feasible way to kill All Might, she wasn't sure what she could do without Senketsu.

Before Ryuko could come to a decision, a large explosion from one of the buildings caught her eye. What was more interesting was a distinct scream that sounded a lot like "die" following it. Great, so Bakugo was here too. That was one student Ryuko had no problem leaving behind, not that he'd need or accept help from her anyway. She started to turn away, her mind made up, when she saw an unmistakable head of red spiky hair through a window.

Kirishima!

Toshinori Yagi laid back on the couch in the UA teacher's lounge, a warm cup of tea on the table in front of him. The beverage did little to soothe his body though, which was still aching from the fight in Kashek. Gamagoori really did a number on him, he wouldn't be surprised if the time he could spend in hero form shortened as a result.

He put his phone down, he'd tried calling Thirteen and Aizawa but he couldn't connect with them. Then again, they were probably busy teaching, just like he should have been. Toshinori sighed in frustration, he was neglecting his duty as a teacher because he took a detour for a fight he shouldn't have involved himself in. It was such an amateur move, what was he thinking?

His students were probably expecting him, he had to make this up to them somehow. Maybe if he just showed up at the end to say something inspiring, that could work. He figured he could still squeeze a good ten minutes out of his hero form. It would be pushing his limits, but it was the least he could do for his students.

Toshinori took in a deep breath and puffed his body up as best he could. All Might slammed his foot against the ground, ready to take on the day!

"TIME TO JOIN MY STUD- HRK!"

Blood shot out of All Might's mouth, dripping onto the carpet. Ok, maybe that wasn't his best idea.

"Hold your horses!" a new voice said, sliding open the door to the lounge.

"HELLO, NEZU SIR!" All Might addressed the school's principal.

"That's me! The one who could be a mouse, or a dog, or a bear, though the only important thing is I'm the principal!" he said to no one in particular.

"YOUR FUR LOOKS ESPECIALLY WELL-GROOMED AND GLOSSY TODAY SIR!" All Might complimented his boss, squatting on the floor so he could look him in the eye.

"The secret is keratin. I'm not sure if humans can get this kind of lustrous shine. But we can talk about grooming later," Nezu reached into his pocket and pulled out a tablet that was nearly the size of his torso. How he managed that physics-defying feat was something All Might didn't even want to think about.

Another thing he didn't want to think about was the subject of the news article displayed on the tablet. The headline was "All Might Saves Kashek City from Rampaging Kiryuin General". Just thinking about that fight made his stomach want to heave.

"Look at the news," Nezu said, gesturing to the article. "It says you defeated one of Satsuki Kiryuin's Elite Four! And all the way in Kashek City too. If my calculations are correct, and they are, a detour like that would have made your commute to UA 78% less efficient, and that's not even factoring in the time you spent fighting."

All Might winced at what Nezu was saying. All of it was true, he was thinking the exact same thing. But what was he supposed to do? Other than him, no single hero could hope to challenge an Elite in combat, something that Endeavor failed to learn almost every week now. And as Navarro proved, not even hundreds of pros working together with the National Guard was enough.

"The fault mainly belongs to the villains who continue to threaten our society of course," Nezu conceded. "But you also have to learn not to react every time you hear of an incident. You haven't changed in all these years, you've always been proactive. Only now your heroism must be limited due to your injury. Plus you've also got the added work of training One For All's successor. You insist on remaining the Symbol of Peace, and the only way you can justify staying out of the spotlight is by teaching. That's why I gave you this job. Oh dear you're smoking, that can't be good."

He couldn't really argue with that, Nezu had a way of seeing right through people. While it was true that he may have been justified in intervening in this specific instance, he couldn't deny that he would have done the same thing if it were a minor incident. He was also right about the smoking, even holding his hero form was incredibly taxing right now.

"It looks like you need to stay here in the lounge and relax a little while longer," Nezu said as he crawled onto the couch. "The other teachers will understand, they're more than capable. But now that you are a teacher here All Might, I really do wish you'd prioritize your students over your hero work. They deserve it!"

"Yeah, you're right principal," Toshinori Yagi admitted. "So I was going to head over to the USJ to make an appearance now actually if you don't mind."

"Even if you went now you'd have to return almost right away," Nezu pointed out. "So you might as well stick around and listen to some of my teaching philosophies. They could prove useful."

Great, now he was being lectured. And to make matters worse, he was pouring tea! Principal Nezu was never one to be brief, but getting tea involved meant he would be stuck here for another hour at least. He was also still concerned that he couldn't get in touch with Thirteen or Aizawa. Sure, they might have just not been picking up, but he hadn't even gotten a simple text from either of them.

"Let's start by discussing combat pedagogy as viewed through the lens of ethical quirk use," Nezu said, snapping Toshinori out of his thoughts.

"You know you haven't changed much all these years either sir," he snarked.

"Shoji, got them? Anything?" Tenya Iida asked. "Where is everyone?"

Tenya had been lucky enough to grab a handful of his fellow classmates and pull them out of the dark storm, but the vast majority had completely disappeared. Aside from himself, only Shoji, Mina, Uraraka, Sero, Sato, and Thirteen had escaped the black fog. He suspected that it had something to do with that villain's quirk. If he could use it to transport villains into the USJ, then it only made sense that he could also use it to scatter his classmates somewhere. Where exactly "somewhere" was what Shoji was trying to find out right now.

"They've been scattered across the facility," the multi-armed student answered. "But our classmates are still here."

Tenya sighed with relief, at least they were all together more or less. Though inside the USJ wasn't the safest place to be right now, so he was still concerned for their wellbeing.

"What do we do?" Sero asked. "The guy's not affected by physical attacks and can apparently teleport stuff?"

Yes, that was the problem now wasn't it? Tenya could worry about his other classmates later, right now they needed to escape from this warping villain. Sero was right, Ryuko and Bakugo's attack didn't do a thing to him, so what could they do?

Tenya shook away those thoughts. As long as they stuck together and worked as a team, he was sure they could find a way to bring this guy down!

"Class rep!" Thirteen addressed him.

"Yes?" Tenya perked up hopefully. Of course! They had a pro hero on their side! Thirteen had probably already come up with an ingenious plan to defeat this villain and rescue their class. He just hoped he would get to be a part of it. He was their class rep after all, it was his duty to be a leader for his class.

"I have a job for you," Thirteen said. "Run to the school and tell the faculty what's going on here. The alarms aren't sounding and our phones and radios are useless right now. One of these villains must be to blame. Even though Eraserhead is cancelling people's quirks left and right, we're still completely sealed off from the outside world. Likely whoever is causing this interference hid as soon as they warped into the USJ. They could be anywhere, impossible to hunt down. It would be faster for you to run and get help than for us to find whoever is jamming everything."

What? Thirteen wanted him... to run away? He couldn't deny her logic, but just the idea of leaving his classmates at the mercy of these villains disgusted him. How could he call himself a leader if he ran at the first sign of trouble? Midoriya would never even think of something like that!

"Yes, but it would be disgraceful for me to leave you all behind!" Tenya protested.

"Go Emergency Exit!" Sato said. "There are lots of alarms outside, that's why they're keeping us all trapped inside the USJ right?"

"As long as you can get outside they won't follow," Sero reasoned. "Blow this stupid mist away with those engine legs!"

Tenya still stood his ground. He knew where his classmates were coming from, he truly did. But what kind of leader, no what kind of hero could leave people in danger behind?

"Use your quirk to save others!" Thirteen said. "Be a real hero!"

"I can help you out!" Uraraka offered. "Just like I did when I floated you in the cafeteria! Please class rep, do it!"

A real hero? Yes, that's right! A real hero would do whatever it took to save lives, and right now informing others of their situation was the best way to do that. His decision made, Tenya extended the exhaust pipes from his calves, ready to take off.

"Even if this is your only option, are you really foolish enough to strategize in front of you enemy?" the mist man taunted. His body morphed into several black tendrils again, ready to attack.

"It won't matter if you know what we're planning or not when I'm done with you!" Thirteen retorted. The tip of the glove on her index finger folded back, revealing an empty void inside. Air rushed in to fill the void, including the mist man's body.

"Black Hole!"

Ryuko Matoi ran to the building where Bakugo and Kirshima were fighting. An explosion blew up a window on the third floor, so that's most likely where they were currently. The main entrance and the fire escape were completely collapsed, so she had to look for a back entrance. Sneaking around the outside of the building, she found a back door, only it was guarded by two villains.

There was one man and one woman, though both of them were dressed in similar outfits. Twins, if Ryuko had to guess. They didn't appear to have any obvious mutations, so she didn't have any idea as to what their quirks were. Not ideal for someone who liked to plan in advance, but it made little difference to Ryuko. If they were anything like that other loser they were probably nothing more than small-fry.

Abandoning her stealthy approach, Ryuko ran at the twin villains, her scissor blade drawn. The two were startled by her appearance, as if they didn't actually expect anyone to come their way. Once they got over their shock, both of their arms morphed into assault rifles. She continued to run straight towards them, even when they started to fire. So that's how it was gonna be, huh?

A hail of automatic gunfire came at Ryuko with pinpoint accuracy, but each shot was swatted or sliced out of the air by her scissor blade. In less than a second, she had already made it to the twin marksmen. She ducked down to the ground and swept at their legs with her blade, knocking both of them on their asses. While they were still recovering, she grabbed both of them from behind the head and smashed their skulls together, knocking them out cold. Ryuko smiled at her handiwork, that was too easy.

Ryuko swung the small metal door open, looking for a guard inside. Fortunately there was nothing but a concrete staircase. She began her climb up the building's floors, following the sounds of screaming and explosions. Kirishima and Bakugo were on the top floor, so she had a long way to go.

She'd only made it up two flights of stairs when she heard a whisper from behind a door. The voice didn't match that of any of her classmates, so it must have been a villain. Ryuko leaned against the door, pressing her ear to its side.

"Why haven't the guys upstairs come back yet?" a raspy voice asked his comrades. "You don't really think they lost to some brats do you?"

"You heard those explosions," a deep, gruff voice responded. "These are UA students we're dealing with, we have to be careful."

"Tch, careful," the raspy-voiced villain spat. "That's why we're staying here dumbass, when they think they've beaten all of us I'll stab them in the back with a sneak attack!"

Ryuko sincerely doubted that these villains would be able to get the drop on Kirishima and Bakugo, but it was better to be safe than sorry. She kicked the metal door off its hinges, sending it flying across the room and out the window. The shockwave it created sent a few villains flying, but the rest turned and stared at the person who interrupted their planning.

"Well, looks like one of them was stupid enough to come to us," the raspy-voiced villain, who Ryuko could now see was a humanoid chameleon, said. He pulled a knife from his belt, trying to intimidate her. The rest of the villains followed, activating their quirks or drawing their weapons.

How cute.

"That's a pretty impressive display you've got going here," Ryuko said mockingly. "But I think mine's bigger."

She held her scissor blade out to her side, the light reflecting off its shiny surface. The chameleon villain yelped and shrunk back, but either courage or stupidity took over him and the rest of the villains as they all charged at her

One short and very one-sided beatdown later, Ryuko exited the room with a smug smile on her face. She got that they weren't actually supposed to kill All Might, but really, why did most of these guys even bother showing up? The sound of a distant explosion snapped her out of her thoughts, reminding her of what she was really here for. With no villains to get in her way, Ryuko continued to the top of the building.

"DIE!"

Some stupid villain had tried jumping at Katsuki Bakugo while his back was turned, probably thinking that his guard was down. Unfortunately for the dumbass, his guard was never down.

As soon as the first idiot was launched into a wall, two more tried grabbing him from each side. Katsuki used his explosions to launch himself into the air at the right moment, making the villains run into each other. Once he landed, he blasted both of them over to their unconscious friend.

Katsuki wiped the sweat off his brow, which was actually pretty difficult to do with his massive gauntlets. How many of these losers were there? He had to have been fighting for at least twenty minutes by now, but every villain he took out was seemingly replaced by two more. He wished he could do this all day, but the truth was that he was getting pretty tired. Quirks were just physical abilities after all. Of course, he didn't have to fight them all by himself.

Weird-Hair was being attacked by a villain wielding a metal bat, but each of his strikes harmlessly bounced off of his classmate's hardened skin. Once the villain grew too tired and lowered his guard, Weird-Hair decked him in the face with a hardened fist.

"Whew! I think that makes fourteen for me! How are you holding up Bakugo?"

"Try twenty-six," Katsuki replied smugly.

"Damn, guess I have to work harder then. Watch your back Bakugo, I'll catch up to you eventually!"

While a statement like that would have normally made Katsuki burst with rage, he couldn't help but smirk at Weird-Hair's comment. Something about fighting alongside him made Katsuki realize he wasn't as insufferable as the other idiots in his class.

Weird-Hair was strong, but he didn't try talking down to Katsuki or ordering him around. He respected him, but didn't grovel at his feet the way the dumbasses in middle school did. He simply did his thing while Katsuki did his. Katsuki almost respected him.

Of course he was still better, even Weird-Hair himself admitted that, but it was nice to have someone he was on good terms with in class. Especially since he was going to have to spend his time in UA with Deku and that bitch Mat-

"Bakugo look out!" Weird-Hair called out to him.

Katsuki simply rolled his eyes. Behind him, a villain was trying to get a sneak attack off on him. Of course he saw right through that pitiful attempt and prepared to blast the villain, but he was already on the floor unconscious. And standing over his body was...

No.

No no no.

Nononononononononononononono!

"How about a thank you, asshole?" Matoi growled, lazily leaning on her sword planted in the ground.

Damnit! Of all the people who had to be sent to the same zone as him, she was here. And not just that, she actually had the nerve to try and save him! Katsuki's blood boiled, if they weren't being attacked by villains he would have blown her face off right now!

"How about I put my foot up your ass?" Katsuki shouted back, small explosions popping off of his palms. "If you didn't notice, I don't need your help! Don't you dare think you can make a fool out of me again!"

"You do that well enough on your own you spiky-haired douchebag, I'm here for Kirishima!" Matoi snarled.

"Oh, thanks I guess?" Weird-Hair replied.

While Katsuki continued to glare at that goddamn bitch, dozens of villains poured into the room and started forming a circle around him. Of course these idiots had to come in at the worst possible time, they must have been waiting for him to take out the previous wave.

"Uh Bakugo, this might not be the best time to get into fight," Weird-Hair said. "We're gonna need all the help we can get!"

"Don't tell me what to do!" Katsuki shouted. As much as he hated to admit it, Weird-Hair had a point. "Fine, just don't get in my way!"

"I wouldn't dream of it," Matoi spat.

The three of them formed a circle of their own to face the villains. Katsuki began creating a series of small explosions on his palms, mostly for the sake of intimidation. Weird-Hair and Matoi followed suit, hardening his top half and drawing her sword respectively. Katsuki smirked, they could do whatever they wanted, in the end he was gonna be the one to beat these losers!

Katsuki roared as he propelled himself towards the wall of villains with his explosions. Just the impact of his body hurtling towards them at high speeds knocked three villains down while a pair of well-timed blasts took out two more. The remaining villains that were focused on him stepped back in fright, but quickly got over themselves as they charged at him wielding an assortment of weapons.

A large dagger sliced down at Katsuki's face, but it was pathetically slow compared to his reaction time. He grabbed his assailant's arm and twisted it, making him drop the knife. In one motion, Katsuki kicked the knife-wielder in the chest and hurled his weapon behind him, nailing another villain in the shoulder.

The villain shrieked in pain, but before he could clutch his wound, Katsuki slammed his gauntlet into his face. As soon as he dropped to the floor, Katsuki blasted the villain behind him with his other hand. Katsuki quickly scanned his immediate surroundings for any other villains, but it seemed that he took care of his part. He proudly dusted his hands together, looking to see how much his classmates were struggling without him.

To his credit, Weird-Hair was holding up pretty well. He couldn't mow villains down as quickly as Katsuki could, but his defense more than made up for his lackluster speed. Villains attacked him from all angles, but Weird-Hair plowed through the barrage like it was nothing, tossing villains aside like children. However, that only made about fifteen villains between the two of them. So where did the rest of them go?

His question was answered by a guttural cry followed by a body sailing at his head. Katsuki ducked in time, making the villain hit the wall behind him, but he was still pissed off. That asshole could have hit him! Just what the hell did Matoi think she was doing?

Apparently she was handling herself quite well. Matoi didn't even grace her opponents by looking at them as her strikes tore through their ranks. Those that were unlucky enough to get hit with the sharp edge of her sword found themselves completely nude. The ten or so villains that were left all jumped on her at the same time, forming a dog pile. Not a second later, Matoi burst free from the cage of bodies, sending the villains flying across the room. Again, one almost hit Katsuki.

"Hey!" Katsuki shouted at her. "Watch what you're doing!"

"Would you just shut up for five goddamn minutes?" Matoi shot back, fighting a trio of villains who were stupid enough to stand back up. "I'm a little busy with something right now!"

Whoever these three villains were, they were clearly made of tougher stuff than the rest of the losers. Matoi's strikes didn't take them out in a single hit and it almost looked like they were overwhelming her. Katsuki grinned, he'd love to see Matoi get taken down a peg, but on the other hand this was the perfect opportunity to show her how much better he was.

Katsuki launched himself in Matoi's direction. As soon as Matoi and the villains were in range, he fired the biggest blast he could without using his gauntlet. As expected, the three villains were knocked out for good while Matoi was (mostly) unharmed. That didn't mean she was happy though.

"What the hell was that for you dick?" she growled, dusting off her tracksuit.

"I helped you," Katsuki sneered. "Now how about a thank you, asshole?"

"That frickin' does it!" Matoi howled. "I'm gonna teach you a lesson you won't learn at UA!"

Matoi's fist struck out at Katsuki's face, but this time he was ready for it. He ducked underneath her punch and followed with a blast to her legs. The explosion didn't make her fall over like he intended, but it made her stumble a little. While she was still distracted, he tried to slam his gauntlet into her face, but it was blocked by that red sword.

Katsuki tried to push back, but Matoi was far too strong. With one swift slash, she cracked his gauntlet wide open. The device fell on the floor in two, but the sweat stored inside it had splashed all over both of them.

"Gross!" Matoi exclaimed, futilely trying to rub Katsuki's sweat out of her tracksuit. "Haven't you ever heard of deodorant?"

"Guys stop fighting!" Weird-Hair protested. "There are literally villains here right now!"

Unfortunately for Katsuki, Weird-Hair was right. Yet another wave of villains had entered the room. Katsuki growled in frustration, did they just have an endless supply of losers somewhere? He wasn't gonna let these idiots distract him this time, he had something more important to deal with!

Katsuki reached out for Matoi's tracksuit with small explosions popping off his palm. Matoi was engulfed in a ball of fire the instant the spark touched the nitroglycerin-soaked article of clothing. The explosion ignited the sweat on Katsuki as well, filling the room with a second blast. It wasn't exactly part of the plan, but Katsuki wasn't gonna get mad over more explosions.

Weird-Hair and Matoi were fine, though a bit singed. The villains on the other hand, not so much. The two explosions had taken out at least half of them and the rest were barely able to stand up.

Matoi dusted her tracksuit, which was now little more than a few scraps of cloth. She growled and swung the flat side of her blade for Katsuki's head. He dodged the attack, making her hit a villain who happened to be behind him. Katsuki chuckled a little bit. Matoi hadn't landed a single hit on him so far, so much for being the strongest in the class.

Matoi pulled on her hair in frustration before screaming and driving her fist into the floor. Her punch made a clean hole through the roof of the previous level and the ground cracked underneath the force of the blow. For a few seconds, the entire building shook like it was caught in a miniature earthquake. Katsuki leaned up against a wall and used small blasts to stabilize himself while Weird-Hair and a random villain held onto each other for support. He quickly realized what he was doing and threw the villain down to the floor.

The building stopped shaking, leaving Matoi clutching her hand in pain. She locked eyes with Katsuki and prepared to charge while he did the same. This was it, he could finish this right here and now!

"Are you seriously doing this right now?" Weird-Hair exclaimed. "What about the villains? Oh, we beat them all."

Sure enough, not a single villain was left standing. The three of them had taken out so many idiots that they were beginning to form piles of unconscious and bleeding bodies. Katsuki grunted in relief and slumped down against a wall, he needed a break.

Ryuko Matoi panted heavily until her heartbeat slowed down to a reasonable rate. It definitely wasn't because of the villains, those guys couldn't even be considered a proper workout. It was Bakugo, just being in the same room as him pissed her off. And actually interacting with that narcissistic prick? Forget about it. Fortunately, she at least had someone she liked to keep her company while Bakugo took a little nap.

"Hey Kirishima!" she called out to her friend. "You good?"

"Yeah, got a little roughed up, but it's nothing my Hardening couldn't handle," he replied. "Besides, I got to take out my first villain!"

Ryuko sighed with relief, at least she knew one of her friends was safe. But she still needed to figure out her next move.

"Hey, do you know anything about what these villains are planning?" she asked.

"Beats me," Kirishima shrugged. "It's not exactly like they were willing to talk. Anyway, it doesn't matter what they're planning, our top priority should be helping our classmates. Not all of them have the offensive powers we do. We gotta make sure they're safe, especially since we're the ones who screwed things up when we got in the way earlier. If Thirteen had been able to suck up that villain, then we never would have been separated like that! We have to make it up to the others!"

"Of course I'm worried about our classmates, but this place is huge!" Ryuko said. "Even if we could find them, we'd never be able to reach them in time. We should take their leaders out, they're the only ones who actually have a plan. Besides, as bad as we have it, Aizawa's got it worse. We know where he is and we know that he probably can't last much longer."

"You two do whatever you want," Bakugo growled, standing up from his spot on the floor. "I'm gonna go destroy that warpy bastard!"

Ryuko rolled her eyes. Did he not remember what just happened?

"Your physical attacks didn't do anything against him you idiot," she scowled. "But if you want to get your ass kicked a second time you're more than welcome to."

"Fuck you!" Bakugo shouted. He and Ryuko slammed their foreheads together, locking eyes in a glaring match. "I'm gonna take him down because he's their way in and out! If I cut off their escape route they'll be stuck here and have to pay for what they've done! I'm just gonna have to figure it out!"

"Fine, come along if you want," Ryuko spat, breaking away from Bakugo. "But I'm not gonna slow down for you, I really don't want you to come at all."

Ryuko shrank her scissor blade down for mobility and prepared to make her way down, but a hand on her shoulder made her stop.

"Hey, I just wanted to wish you good luck, you'll probably make it to the action before we do," Kirishima chuckled. "But before you go, I have to ask: Why are you so hard on Bakugo?"

The question made Ryuko stop in her tracks. What kind of a question was that? She wasn't being hard on him, she was just treating him exactly the way an asshole like him deserved to be treated.

"I know you two had that big disagreement about Midoriya the other day and I get it, he can be a real jerk sometimes," Kirishima continued. "But I can tell that he's trying really hard to become a hero. Even if you don't like him as a person, you gotta respect his ambition right?"

Ryuko scowled. There was that magic word again, the one that apparently gave you the right to be an asshole as long as you had enough of it. If anyone thought she'd respect someone just because of their ambition, then they were sorely mistaken. She kept these thoughts to herself though.

"Thanks," she replied curtly. "But I gotta go now."

Kirishima nodded as Ryuko left, running down the flights of stairs as fast as she could. She exited the building the way she came in, bolting towards the center of the USJ. The Collapse Zone was huge, taking her a few minutes to run across it even at top speed. Once she reached the edge, she took a second to catch her breath when she saw something that took it away.

At the edge of the Shipwreck Zone, she could make out the figure of Midoriya through his messy green hair. Only, his fist was embedded in the abdomen of the muscular black giant the villains brought. Whatever he was trying, it was obvious the villain was unaffected. Ryuko expanded her scissor blade, let out a battle cry, and charged at the villains.

A/N: Sorry this chapter took so long to write, but this one just didn't want to be written. Reaching the 10k word quota while also leaving enough material for the USJ arc to be wrapped up next chapter was hard. The addition of college kicking my ass didn't help either.

Having the All Might vs. Gamagoori fight definitely helped though. I actually didn't plan for it until I thought "What if All Might fought a Kill la Kill character on the way to school instead of that pink guy?" Writing it was a blast and it's my favorite part of the chapter. Since it's a non-canon fight between two major characters, that means that there's a...

Battle Breakdown: All Might vs. Ira Gamagoori!

I was actually pretty inclined to give this fight to Gamagoori. Just by virtue of being a three-star, he's physically stronger than Mako, who's pretty comparable to All Might. Adding in his ability to absorb damage and All Might's exclusive reliance on punching, I was ready to write All Might's victory off as plot armor.

But All Might doesn't have to necessarily knock Gamagoori out to win, which is how the battle ends. I still give Gamagoori the majority though, just because I doubt All Might would be able to think of that in the heat of the moment when his strategy boils down to "punch until thing stops moving, and when that doesn't work punch more". Gamagoori wins 7/10.
