"These are the basics, I know that I just made spheres or balls of light but for me, they are the same thing, some people might say that they're completely different but honestly it doesn't matter."

Kazuma raises his hand and uses his wind breath skill, along with his create fire and tinder skills to make a burst of fire come out of the palm of his hands.

He looks at the kids in front of him and closes his eyes, he was about to say a bunch of complicated things that didn't even make sense to him.

Yet as he stands in front of the kids whose eyes are sparkling as they all look at him, he can't help but stop himself from doing so and teaching them the way that he understands things.

So he takes a deep breath and smiles before he continues.

"Look, there are people who are born stronger than me, and maybe they're even smarter than me."

"All of you know that some people were just luckier than you, for obvious reasons." he says to them.

"I say fine, let the rich have their castles, we will find a way to get our mansions, and if we can't get them then we will just build them." he says to them, as he remembers how he and his friends lived in poverty before they found themselves living in luxury.

He can feel his heart beating inside his chest before he takes another breath and calms down.

'We aren't like them and we are never going to be like them and that's okay because w have each other, so we have to rely on each other."

As he stops talking he notices that the kids are looking past him and judging by their wide smiles he knows that the three clones are doing something behind his back.

He turns and sees that Aqua's eyes are glowing with blue light, and she is slowly floating down toward him.

He turns to the left and finds that Wolbach is doing the same thing but her eyes are a burning red.

He turns to his right and finds that Eris is about to hug him and unfortunately he can't bring himself to enjoy the warmth of her arms because of how frightening her glowing white eyes are.

The other two clones wrap their hands around him and he finally understands what's going on.

They're putting on a show for everyone, even if the kids can't understand what they are seeing they can still enjoy watching the clones fly and look a little bit cool.

"Kazuma." he hears someone call his name.

The clones let go of him but they don't bother to put on a show this time, instead, they just let go of him and walk back to where the kids are standing.

Kazuma can't help but resist the urge to rub between his eyes when he sees a man dressed in what can only be called ninja clothes.

'Yeah.' he answers the man who immediately hands him a folded letter.

"Feel free to open it, and read its contents, but I will tell you what I wrote down regardless."

"I'm here to kill you, and after I kill you, I will kill your women and your children."

"Your clan will die before it has managed to take form.' The ninja says to him.

"Can I at least know why?" Kazuma asks the ninja but he's forced t turn around when he hears the kids scream.

He's shocked to see that all of the kids including Aqua are laying on the ground and top of them are several men and women wearing black clothes that cover their entire bodies, including their heads and faces.

'This is the deal, you defeat me, and you get to live but your family dies."

"If you refuse to fight me then everyone dies, but if you somehow manage to beat me and maybe with a lot of luck you somehow manage to force my men to retreat, then all of you get to live."

Kazuma can't help but glare at the ninja.

The man was using an old trick that forced him to show everyone what he can do, this way the rest of the ninjas have an easier time dealing with him after he beats their leader.

'Clear the streets." e hears the ninja says and Kazuma finds himself standing inside the town.

"You know you're not behaving like a ninja." Kazuma says to the man who just glares at the people around them, the ferocity and bloodlust that his eyes are emitting makes the people around them run away in terror.

"You and your kids are being used as an example." the ninja says to him before vanishing.

Kazuma can feel his dodge and evasion skills activate and the muscles in his legs burn with pain as they are pushed beyond what they are supposed to be able to do.

'There's no way around this is there?" he asks the ninja, who only glares at him.

Because his sword is currently broken into three different pieces he isn't able to use it, but even if it had been in one piece Kazuma doubted that he could have used it properly.

He wasn't a sords man or crusader that trained to wield such a weapon, he was just an adventurer, someone that only learned the basics and nothing more.

Again he found himself taking a deep breath before exhaling, since when were the basics not enough, it was true that his party wasn't here and so he couldn't rely on them.

...but he had a new party now... Kazuma smiles as the realization begins to set in and he curses the fact that this had to happen for him to realize that he had been neglecting the fragments of the goddesses that were his friends.

"Eris, Wolbach, I need your help." he calls to the fragments of his friends who appear in a flash of grey and red light.

The two women float next to him Eris is on his right side and Wolbach is on his left side, for some reason both women are completely transparent, and judging by the fact that the ninjas haven't reacted, Kazuma knows that they either can't see them or are waiting to see what the two women can do.

Again the ninja throws himself at him and Kazuma once again mages to avoid the man's attack but unlike before he doesn't feel any of the pain like the first time that he avoided the ninja's attack.

Unfortunately, he isn't able to enjoy not being in pain as the ninja throws a metal ball that is tied to a chain at him.

Kazuma can feel his evasion skill flare as he avoids the chain that seems to have a mind of its own because it somehow seems to be able to follow him wherever he goes.
