Kazuma knocked on the wooden door that was attached to the house that the ninja's chain had broken, the moment the owners of the house saw him they immediately closed the door and refused to say anything to him.

"Yeah, so I'm going to fix your wall now, just hit the wall three times when it looks like it's back to normal." he said to the group of people inside but they didn't answer him.

This scene had happened over and over again the people that lived in the other five houses had been even worse because they had thrown things at him while he was fixing their wall.

He had been tempted to leave them with their broken walls, but he stopped himself from doing so when he turned and found one or more of the kids looking at him.

There was just something about those eyes of theirs and how they seemed to... it felt as if they looked up to him for some reason, but he didn't know what that reason was.

He wasn't an adventurer here, so there was no way that any of them knew about him and his adventures.

Still, because he knew that the kids were looking at him he forced himself to finish fixing those dam walls over and over and over again.

The way that he fixed the walls was simple, he just used his create earth skill to form a small pile of dirt, then he used his create water skill to wet the dirt to make white-colored mud.

After that, he just grabbed handfuls of the mud and put it in the hole, before he used a combination of his drain touch and create fire skill to quickly dry and harden the mud, the result was a fixed wall that was just as hard as concrete.

"Alright done, I should go and check on everyone." he says to himself as he looks at the wall in front of him and remembers his early days, he smiles as the image of Aqua dressed in her construction worker uniform appears next to him.

He ignores the image when he hears something familiar.

"Create earth!" one of the boys says as he stretches his hands but fails to make anything appear in front of him.

"Create water!" one of the girls shouts as she puts her hands on a pile of dry leaves that she must have gathered.

Kazuma cant he but laugh, they had the right words but they weren't doing anything else, the kids must have heard him because they all turned to look at him.

Some of them tried to hide the fact that they had gotten their new clothes dirty, but he could still see the dirt on their faces.

"It's still too early for you kids to do any of that, you need to create the ball of light first," he says to the kids as three tiny lights appear in front of him.

The lights are so small that they look as if they could vanish at any second, but the kids that summoned them to look at him with eager eyes.

Kazuma can't help but summon a small greed sphere before he grabs it with both hands and begins to blow on it.

He can feel the sphere grow and as he opens his hands he commands it to fly over the kid's heads.

"Try making it bigger, when you can do that I'll show you how to do some of the skills I know." he says to them before he turns his attention to everyone else.

"Come on the girls have a surprise that they have been working on." he says to everyone, before leading them to the house and finding that everyone else has already arrived.

"Good you're finally here." Eris says to him when she sees him coming.

Before Kazuma can say anything she begins to hand the kids a sheet of paper and a small brush with a small bottle that's filled with water.

'Everyone today is the first day of school, I will teach you how to write."

"Now kids the paper turns black when water touches it, so you cant get dirty, but can still get wet, so please try to be careful." Eris says to the kids, but as Kazuma looks at the group he notices something odd about the sheets of paper that they are using.

"It's talisman paper" he silently says to himself when he finally recognizes the color of the paper.

Talisman paper is a tool used by adventurers who were cursed to be unable to use magic except for certain skills, what those skills were depended on what the curse didn't destroy.

The curse prevented those adventurers from relearning the skills that they lost and it stopped them from learning new ones.

So the guilds and the adventurers looked for a way to either undo the curse or work around it and the result was the paper that the kids were now learning to write on.

The way to use the paper was simple, a person needed to write the skill that they wanted to use and know what it did so that the paper did said skill.

It was just that easy, and the only downside was that each sheet of paper could only be used once.

Kazuma feels someone tapping him on his shoulder and as he turns he finds that Aqua is standing behind him.

"We need to talk." she says to him, her voice is soft as usual but her expression is completely serious meaning that she has no room for games.

Byakuya looked at his wife's grave, he didn't know what to say nor did he even know if he had any right to be standing there anymore.

Kazuma had passed, he had survived and now his grandfather was talking with the rest of the elders.

He had promised her that he would protect Rukia and now he had to do the complete opposite, he now had to kill her or send her to someone that could do who knows what to her and not have to answer to anyone.

Then there was something that happened while he was still in the room, something that would have made him laugh because of how stupid it was, except it had been perfectly valid.

Someone said that his aunt should be the one that should be wed to the troublemaker.

...His aunt...

The wife of a traitor was someone that had to live with the shame of having been married to someone that had turned his back on everything and everyone.

Despite being a member of the main family she was seen as a stain in their name because of who she had been married to and now the elders wished to wed her to this troublemaker so that she could redeem herself.

However, they didn't expect anything from her, they just wanted her gone.

His aunt had to live with having people gossip behind her back and put up with everyone's judging eyes despite not being responsible for anything that her husband did.

And yet he wanted her to continue to bear the burden so that he could keep Rukia safe, but how could he do that when he was supposed to kill her?

He stared at his wife's grave and wished that he was less discipline so that he could allow himself to cry.
