Niall shook his head for a few moments trying to get his bearings back growling he raises his head to find Lucifer coming from the hole in the floor.
Hydranoid flew dfown after Lucifer over to Niall "partner wake up if you dont this guy is going to destroy you" he is swiped away into a wall knocking the bakugan in that was in his ball form out.
Lucifer brushes the dust from his overcoat "is that it because if that is then I am sorely disappointed" he watches as Niall charges at him swinging punch after punch in a rage fuelled attempt to try and strike him in vain. Lucifer nonchalantly sidestepping each attack "come on I did take a break from my work for this" he eventually was caught off guard with Niall sweeping the leg causing him to be half flipped before being struck himself andf sent through the wall onto the street "it seems I may have been mistaken this may be some fun after all" he smiles getting into a battle ready stance.
Lucifer blocks a kick from Niall aiming or his head and uses his other arm to strike the same leg up making Niall backflio before using his enhanced speed to kick him like a football "dont fuck with this royal" he musters hell-fire in his palm "catch" he throws it as if he was throwing a baseball, Niall gets off the ground only to get his by the ball of flame barely raising his arms in time to block only to be blasted into the side of the building arms burned extremely but still in an x defending his face.
The group come running out looking for Niall and Lucifer "Anyboy see where the kid and head honcho are" Angel scans the area worried about Niall, Niffty zips around and comes back "I found him he's over here" they all follow after Niffty "we have to hurry Niall might be strong but dad will put him in the ground without trying hard" they arrive to the image of Niall with his arms burned looking like Freddy Kruegers face panting hard now his arms shaking and falling to his sides.
"you've been a good warm up and a nice distraction but I must get back to my wife we are heading out tonight" his voice takes a deep demonic shift "so it's time to bring this little rumble to an end and to teach you a lesson DONT MESS WITH MY FAMILY" his wings unfurl shaking in anger with Niall barely standing.
"DAD dont hurt him please he just needs help" Charlie sprints to try and get between her father and Niall before he ends up killing but she is to slow as Lucifer's eyes blaze red as he shoots towards Niall faster than he could blink upper cutting him in the gut into the sky, Niall's eyes turned into dinner plates as he was winded which was putting it lightly.
Lucifer is already waiting for Niall in the sky using more of his power to punch Niall straight back to the ground, Niall struck the ground causing a miniature earthquake the earth shattered andf crack , no one could do anything againest Lucifer's power and just hope that Niall would survive. Lucifer high above him began to create a massive hellfire ball "PREPARE TO BE ERASED!" Charlie saw this and ran to Niall and was followed by Alastor and Vaggie.
Niall sputtered on the ground barely registering was just happened while at ther same time finally being knocked out of his rage "why do I feel like I've been run over" coughing up blood "well that's not good"looking up he saw just what Lucifer was preparing to do "for fuck sake why cant I get a break-" coughing up more blood he tilts his head to the right pain exploding in his neck as he heard Charlie shout "Dad dont hurt him" realising he lost control and had been consumed by his rage.
Charlie stood above him on his with Alastor stood on his left. Lucifer saw what Charlie was doing and dissipated the hellfire ball, staring down at her he descended a scowl present on his face "Charlie get out of the way so daddy can erase that pest" Charlie stepping between him and the one who is currently trying to not puke out his lungs.
She stood her ground with Alastor behind her and her father striding towards her "I wont let you hes the first living human that's been down here since Dante and it wasnt his fault he cant control his abilities yet" Lucifer's frown did not cease "why are you defending a mortal that tried to strike you down my daughter" he questions his posture writhing with power "he doesnt have anywhere to go, has lost his friends and family, his home and has been nearly killed twice in 2 days" a look of determination steeled onto her features.
Lucifer groans in contempt "fine have it your way when he loses control again which he will I will erase him just to prove that your little hotel is nothing more than a fanciful idea" he turns his wings disappearing into his back everyone breathing a silent breath of relief until "I want updates on him as a condition of not killing him and that is not for negotiating a tone of finality present in his voice telling her that this was not up for debate "yes dad" she answers and with that he left for his mansion to get back to work.
With his leave everyone rushes over to check Nialls condition "he was bleeding severely and was pretty obvious that his arms and legs were broken, that along with the blood around his mouth gave them a haunting image, Alastor lifted Niall with his magic as they made their way back to the hotel.
Niall started to speak "if it wasnt for you guys I'd be be dead for the second time" he chuckles quickly turning into a heaving cough "Charlie I'm sorry for what I did I wasnt in my right mind but it's no excuse" guilt on his face Charlie frowned at him I'm not mad about that if it wasnt for Niffty we wouldnt know what you were doing" her eyes narrowed "we all know" his face turned pale "we will be discussing this when we all get back to the hotel" hearing that made Niall cringe internally.
Niall POV
'Son of a bitch I should have expected this to happen' I can barely move it feels like everything has been bruised it's like that time I jumped at the rope swing over a hill when I got to highest point damn that was a bastard of a week after it. 'Now that I'm stuck here-wait SSSSHHHHHIIITTTT I forgot about Verosika's blackmail/deal and having to explain what happened to Blitzo and his team
I thought about what would happen when we got back to the hotel 'I'm definetly going to be chewed out and knowing my luck thrown out which is more than fair considering all the trouble I've given not too mention that I am on the literal DEVIL'S shit list so that's going to be fun' I look over to Vaggie who has a look of barely restrained anger which If I make even a single sound might just set her off.
Hydranoid caught up and landed on my chest he saw the guilty look on my face "partner it's not your fault bakugan are born connected to their attribute you have to master your connection as the more you tap into the Darkus attribute as it will feed of your emotions growing in strength to the point of losing your mind" Hydranoid sits on his shoulder "can we talk about this when we are alone" I ask quietly "sure partner" he turns back into his ball form and flies into my pocket.
After the trip we finally came up to the hotel I couldnt feel anything but dread radiate throughout my entire being. Alastor opened the doors and floats me in laying me down onto the couch with just even laying down on the couch making me feel as if my back was screaming everyone stood in the lobby with Charlie and Vaggie standing in front of me.
"What the hell you were just going to leave without saying goodbye" Vaggie shouts at me while her hair started standing up "I didnt want to be a burden and I font ddo good with goodbyes so I thought that-" Charlie raised her hand which I knew as a sign to stop talking, "Niall your not a burden on us and you should have told us what you were planning because now my dad wants to kill you because you nearly hurt me" I tilt my head to look at her "I'm sorry I've screwed things up from the sound of things I've only made everything harder for you now and anymore plans of getting home are shot now anyway" as soon as that was siadd it grabbed the groups attention "Mr Niall what do you mean are you not able to go home" Niffty walked up to the couch I was lying on "when I tries to go through the portal I walked into what felt like an invisible wall, I started hitting it harder and harder but it was no use I realised I would never get home and I snapped everything went black until I woke up feeling like broken glass shaken up in a box which I might have an idea on how to fix up" I started focusing my power into the areas that were most sore finding that the pain was going away 'holy shit it actually worked it's not fully there but at least I dont feel like every part of me is screaming'
Slowly sitting up I bring my hands together while holding my head up "So now I have to go to my boss tomorrow and explain what happened" I rub my eyes "hold on you actually manged to get a job" Angel Dust surprised as only an idiot wouldnt have ratted me out to an Overlord for some kind of reward "yeah so Charlie what's going to happen now, whatever your decision is it's more than fair" I look at the floor waiting for her final decision.
Vaggie steps forward placing a hand on my shoulder "Niall you have been an absolute ass today and a pain, nearly hurting Charlie and got tossed around like a ragdoll" I wince but what she siad after it surprised me "Charlie set up this hotel to help sinners redeem themselves and right now that includes you, see knows this something like this was going to happen someday, the bottom line is no one in this hotel is going to give up on you or cast you out as that would go againest what we are trying to do" her words struck deep within me 'I'm not alone' tears slowly started to flow down my face I whisper "thank you" I stand up and hug Vaggie catching her off guard.
A few seconds she returns the hug with Niffty, Angel and Charlie hugging around me "Angel that better not be your dick or so help me the chaos gods" I felt something hard poking my back I turn to see in fact it was his tommy gun in his jacket "sorry my bad" he looks at me in mock hurt "come on Niall I've got some class besides if I wanted to let you know I'd say it to your face" saying it as he came close to my face. I turn back as I felt piercing eyes of everyone staring at us breaking up the hug they go back to what they were doing.
Before I headed back to my room with Hydranoid I wanted to say something "oh yeah hey Charlie, Vaggie thanks again you have no idea how much this means to me" I quickly make my way up the stairs.
Going through the hallways I finally started thinking 'what is everyones story after all they did have a life before and fuck how long have they been down here, Alastor sound and looks like he came out of the 30s and if Angel acts like some kind of gangster so he could be even earlier' I make it a mission now to get to know everyone so at least I can make some friends down here I bump into someone as I wasnt paying attention where I was going "oh so soon I didnt think youd be that quick eh I have that effect on guys who say their into the ladies" the voice instantly tells me its Angel Dust and when I look up my guess is confirmed seeing Angel with his his trademark grin.
I step back quickly "no Angel it's not that I was wondering if I could come to your room and get to know you a bit since I'll be here for what looks like for a while" he looks intrested the look in his eyes making me feel uneasy "yeah sure swing round by 9 I've got some stuff I've got ta take care of" I nod "sure no bother see ya later" he heads into his room as I go off looking for mine again.
I open the door closing the door behind me sighing loudly I slide down the door huddling my knees "Partner things will get better" Hydranoid hovers a bit from my face "maybe but after what I did today I've got a lot of work to do" I put my hand out letting him sit in my hand. I still find it hard to believe that in one day I went from feeling with normal stuff end up in hell met the devil himself and his daughter, a have a toy turn into the monster from its show and now have superpowers.
I laugh to myself until "Niall we need to talk" I look down at him "I'm starting your training we cant afford to have what happened today be repeated" I nod understanding, "how do I start?" I move away from the door to the middle of the room.
"Now what you need to do search deep inside yourself and imagine a purple ball of energy" he takes his spot on the beside drawer. I take a deep breath and close my eyes doing as he instructed I calmedf my mind and looked inside myself andd found a orb of a vibrant purple pulsating and rippling with power.
I found myself in awe the power that came from it while it felt dark wasnt evil, it called to me "now place your hand upon it and imagine the feeling spreading over you" his voice echoed around me. I stepped towards the orb and now I stand before it looking at my hand as I'm about to place it upon it 'nothing ventured, nothing gained'.
I finally place my hand upon the orb "now imagine the energy flowing through you to the centre of your being" I followed his instructions the energy radiating in the middle of my chest "now open your eyes" I opened my eyes to see the same purple aura from the first fight flowing around me however it was a lot smaller and looked as is someone had somehow slowed the flames to look like an ember.
It felt strange but welcoming "now concentrate, focus your power into your palm" following his instructions I focused on my palm however it wasnt as easy as I thought it was going to be as by the time I managed to even create a tiny purple orb It had been 2 hours with my back and forehead drenched in sweat from the exertion. I checked the time and saw that it was half 8 in the evening 'holy shit I've been at this for over 2 hours! I need to get better than this' rubbing my eyes I get up "ugh fuck I gotta wiper this fucking sweat off" using the blanket on my bed I wipe the sweat off.
Hydranoid flies onto my shoulder "hey partner do you mind if I can be on my own for a bit I just want to sort some stuff out" I ask him "if you wish, Niall I'll be in the bed you made for me in the drawer if you need me" he proceeded to disappear from sight as he flew inside siad dresser door sighing I walk over opening the door and closing it as I exited my room.
Walking through the halls I finally remembered something "I did say I would hang out with him around 9 but eh I'd say he wouldnt mind if I came around a bit earlier" I coul remember what number was on his door but 'for fucksake at least the trend of getting lost in a hotel is still alive and well' growling out my frustration as I continued aimlessly walking around the hotel I started hearing something.
Trying to figure out what a noise was I followed it to where it was coming from a minute or two later I come to a door 'what the heck-"oh yes yes yes right there"- ah...well that answers that now I better get out of here before they know I'm out here' turning on my heel I swiftly speed walked away from the door to find my original destination. I finally started getting close to my original destination, my thoughts started drifting to what Charlie was doing 'whats wrong with you Niall control yourself shes not with you and you've literally known her for two fucking days. I think Hell is having some kind of effect on wait could Hell be amplifiying the seven deadly sins it would make sense since the worst I have are wrath and lust I'm going to need to test that theory out at some stage'.
I finally found Angel Dust's door with the number 69 in plated numbers near the top I check the time with a clock that's hanging on the wall and see it was 9.30 'wait I got lost for an hour okay Niall you have proceeded to dumbass level 2' annoyed at the thought I knocked on Angel's door "hey Angel you mind if I come in" He answered back with a "yeah it's okay" I open his door and yep just as you would expect a flamboyant pornstars room to look like.
He was sitting in front of his vanity mirror "I was starting to think you werent going to show up" he looked over at me from his chair "I got lost along the way and got into a situation where I had to get out of dodge" I could feel my face going red as I flashbacked to outside Charlie's room which didn't not go unnoticed Angel smirks "I want all the details" he pulls me over and makes me sit on the bed "alright it started out like this"
