Being completely honest here- this is my first story on here- I'm just putting my one piece story from wattpad on here and please don't mind my bad spelling or mess ups I will fix them in the future! Also I'm not as good at 3rd pov that I am at 1st pov so occasionally I'll write it was a 3rd pov anyways onto the story!

Shanks pov

It was like any normal day on my ship crew talking and doing what they normally do, we docked at a random island we found. Me and benn hang around in a conversation!

"CAPTAIN!" I sighed and rolled my eyes "WHAT?!" I walked over to the newbie crew mate we just recruited not to long ago. He pointed out to a ship, I called Benn over and used his spyglass to look who it was, "by god... what the hell is he doing out here?!" I mumbled to myself. I gave him his thing back with a small smile. The legend him self, The pirate king. As the ship got closer and closer the more I yelled and laughed to him! Once they docked by us Roger hopped down with a loud laugh "HAHA BRAT!" He quickly grabbed me and gave me a hug as I laughed. I haven't seen the old man in years! He put me down as benn rushed over to me, "u look better then when I was on your ship!" I joked and he just pat my head.

"What's happened the hat I gave you-"

"Ah- well- remember how u keep saying your going to die soon? If you do- I'll hopefully give that hat to the next future pirate king- possibly-"

"Sounds about right but where is it right now-" I pointed to benns head of which I almost forgot I put my hat on his head. He had started itching at his back intensely, I raised a brow confused- "are you ok?" He sighed as mumbled something "well I can't hide them forever" it wasn't to long before two large golden wings sprouted from his back and opened to their full length enjoying the room, my eyes widened and my jaw dropped to the floor confused how long he had those! "Wha- when WHEN DID U Have WINGS?!" I shouted out, he only laughed at me "Iv had em since I was a kid brat! It's just something us D's have! We're born with em different colors to!" I was a bit confused until I remembered seeing feather over the ship at times- golden ones... u shook off my thoughts and went from shock to questions- "so- those feathers u and rouge gave me- along with that damn kiss- what the hell was that about?" He smiled

"ABOUT DAMN TIME U ASKED!"

"HURK- DOMT HIT ME ON THE BACK THAT HURT YA Know!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" U grumbled as my back now hurt. Once he shut up he started to actually tell me, "well rouges feather represents love and care, mine represents power and wisdom, sadly Ace is the only D born without wings- I guess he was a bit lucky he gets to be normal- now if u get a kiss from a D it means they trust u enough two they give u their life and three u are a D u get wings and will of the D- anyways other then that I might as well tell you what I came here for... my wife rouge.. u know how she died right- giveing birth- well... since she's gone I cant really take care of my second child- and since your trust worthy... can u to at least on kami take care of her?"

He said so much I don't even know what he said! My brain finally rendered it and was able to speak again "what's her name? Wait- do I have to teach her how to fly?"

"Her name a Lucifer- weird name but it's what I named her she goes by Lucia, about a year old CANT walk or talk but also doesn't like me- small wings and yes u do have to teach her to fly-" I sighed and nodded "I'll do it."

That was a month ago... it's been hell on this ship ever since... but we also learned that Lucia loves to sleep... specifically on me- I didn't mind the child had a liking to me and benn. made sense either ways that doesn't matter-. Lucia crawled over to me with her Tiny wings protruding out her back, I picked her up with a slight smile "you here to sleep?" She nodded with a little yawn as I placed her on my chest, she gripped onto my shirt curled up laying her head on my bare chest. This was her comfy spot and it was always the same position to- he wings lay flat on me almost hugging me in a manor, I looked at her wings, I noticed something, there was another pair of wings growing on her back it seemed... her original ones were golden, but where were bits of black on the ends, but the new pair looked black? I was confused why she tow pairs and not one...

She shifted a bit holding on tighter, I rubbed her back trying to calm her a bit, of course this was a baby but I learned u cant leave any food near by otherwise it's going to be gone in seconds- made that mistake earlier I put down a piece of pie and when I looked away for just a second it was gone- turns out she ate it. I didn't care other then she had a big apatite. I looked up to see benn walking over to me, "I was going to tell you that we are coming up on an island but u seem worried now- what's bothering you?" I glanced down at her second pair of wings then back to benn with small sigh. "Lucia is growing new wings... and I also as Roger told me apparently don't want wings either- cause then I have to learn to fly-" he smiled a bit and moved a chair in front of me carefully taking her off me and cradling her in his arm. Lucia was a very very small child unusually small for her size but her short ness isn't that bad at the least. "Well if you end up getting your next feather and kiss from a D it might have to be another Gol- so- it would have to be her" he gave me a retaliated look with a smile as I slid down my chair with a groan. I then looked back to Luffy and noticed her hair wasn't just black, luffys hair grew fast but u started to notice she had a blond fade, leaving black spots in the blond, and blond spots in the black, I'm guessing her next pair of wings will be something like that. Lucia woke up with a small yawn and a flap of her little wings she looked at me and started mumbling nonsense before a a word loud enough escaped "p-pa-papa, papa!" I starred at her in shock. She looked directly towards me and reached her arms out repeating herself, once she was quiet it was silent as the whole ship stared at her, "papa?" I snapped out of it as a smile crept onto my face. I took her carfully and gave her a small hug only making her repeat the word over and over again, I didn't mind- she just said her first word- and I was just called her papa.

Took me two days to write that only cause I started at 11pm last night anyways in the next chapter Lucia begins to walk, oh yea I changed her personality to be more obedient and quiet but still the same energy from luffy : have a great day
