Shanks pov

"Ugh- my neck.." I sat my head up and rubbed the back of my neck in pain. I felt something cold but warm on my chest and looked down, I was met with a sleeping but crying Lucia, I smiled and put a hand on her back which woke her up with a whimper "hey hey shhh shh it's ok it's just me kiddo.." I had quietly whispered to her. She didn't seem to calm fully but she did shift hiding herself a bit.. I pet her wings and hummed before someone knocked at the door, "captain? Are u in there?" I sighed picking Lucia up and going to unlock and open the door "yes what do u need.." I towered over the poor man "erm well.. Beckman wanted you and uh that's all-." He was a bit scared at my tall figure as I nodded and he quickly speed away. I closed the door behind me as I walked out of the room Lucia still on me, I walked out to find Benn in a not so happy mood, "what.." I looked up at him causing some pain in my neck. He sighed and brought me to the side of the ship "see that moving dot.. that's ace... he's on his way to go find Roger right now.. and we need to go stop him..." I nodded and looked down to Lucia.. I needed to wake her up and quick. I had carefully taken her off me which ended up waking her up "nooo papa!" I sighed "your brother is going after roger.." she quickly shot up and flew to ace "LUCIFER! GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW YOUNG LADY!" The two soon flew over head "HEY GET BACK HERE!!" I flew after them.

They were faster than me this time, I swear I was going as fast as I could but I couldn't catch up "ACE, LUCIFER STOP" they ignored me Lucia kept trying to grab ace but he only dogged. I eventually got close enough to grab Lucias foot dragging her back towards me were I quickly kept her in a tight embrace, "ACE STOP! GOING AFTER HIM WONT HELP!" I saw rogers ship up ahead "LU IF GOING TO TOSS YOU TO ACE TRY AND DRAGG HIM DOWN!" I looked down at her and she nodded. I quickly tossed her right at him yes it was a risky move but it worked! She forced his wings down causing them both to make a crash landing down at rogers ship, "LUCIFER!" I quickly dove after them trying to catch up, she didn't seem to be panicking it was like she had it all under control...

Once we were close enough to the ship (her almost hitting the deck) she unfurled her wings which ended up causing her to launch her self up past me "GOD DAMN IT KID STOP GIVING MD A FUCKING HEART ATTACK!?" She laughed along with ace as we floated down to to deck, I picked up ace and kept strong hold of him, "I may not be YOUR father or adopted one but u do NOT go after roger I do not CARE how much u hate him for leaving- you must SWEAR and PROMISE me you will NEVER use your wings for a purpose like this again!?" He grumbled and nodded as I put him down... I sat down and lay on the ship "can I just lay here..." I heard foot steps walk over to me and there was roger looking down at me with a smile "nah u gotta go back sorry kid" I groaned I just wasted all my energy chasing after ace..

Lucia crawled on-top of me and lay down before wrapping her wings around my torso and purring as she lay there. I lifted my head to look at her "this is not the time kid..." she only nuzzled me... I put my head back down and grumbled to myself, "the island is what direction again?" He pointed to a direction. "Great- ACE GET UR ASS OVER HERE NOW" I sat up and yet again had to pry Lucia off me "we're going back to the island NOW" he rushed over as the three of us started back I turned around "SORRY FOR THE TROUBLE!" He laughed and waved me off so I head after the kids to make sure they didn't get lost... the three of us glided out as sea for a while now.. their wings had started to hurt so I let them sit on my back.. I had finally spotted my ship "hah! There it is!" I sped up going faster and faster with each beat of my wings, once we had arrived I let us down slowly before landing letting the kids jump off "haha! We made it!"

Lucia quickly ran off to the ship giggling, ace ran to the forest, and I followed lu. Once I arrived on the ship I looked to the man I almost forgot was holding the devils fruit we found while Lucia was sleeping last voyage trip.. the man walked by Lucia and ended up tripping over his own foot... I sighed before noticing the devil fruit had fallen out of the pocket! Lucia walked up to the black and white fruit picking it up and eating it- she wasn't one to waist good food so seeing something like that would trigger her to eat, "LUCIA NO! GOD DAMN IT CHILD SPIT THAT OUT!" I grabbed her and shook her upside down "PAPAAAA ST-O-O-O-O-O-P!" I dropped her "KID DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU JUST ATE!?" She shook her head "actually- not even I know what that really was... good point kid..." she didn't calm down though "here let's go to party bar and figure this out.." they all nodded and Lucia grabbed my hand..

Me and Luffy sat down at our natural spot in the bar.. she had noticed something different she said.. "Um.. give me an animal or creature that doesn't EXSIST maybe it's something like that?" I shrugged "erm- try a Phoenix? Like Marco!" She tilted her head when I said his name "right u don't know him yet- anyways!" She nodded and closed her eyes before a glow of fire started to spread around her body and she started to shift from human to a bird, a baby one, a baby Phoenix... "HOLY-." She looked down and panicked causing her to turn back to normal. She curled into a ball wide eyed.. "what the hell... BENN EXPLAIN PLEASE.." he flipped through his book before a smile crept onto his face "you have the mythi mythi fruit- it's basically the only one of the over powered fruits from the void era-" she only looked down at her hands of which were now glowing... "AHH! MY HANDS!" She panicked and ran off "LUCIA!" I quickly ran after her but she was fast for a kid. I held the hat on my head and went for the jungle, because if she was to go anywhere she's going to be with her brothers..

Lucifer's pov

As I ran through the forest all my senses had started to become more sensitive, my nose picked up all the smells of the forest but intensified, same thing with my ears and eyes I could see a thousand times better than normal than any normal human now, I kept panicking I ended up bumping into ace and sabo who grabbed me, "LET ME GO!" With a shove my hands I sent an energy blast that shoved them away, we stood there in shock of what I had just done "I-I- I'm a monster..." I started to cry and in a state of panic used my wings to fly and dodge through the forest looking for the light house..

I reached the cliff side where an old abandoned light house was, I fly up the side and sat on the top where this ball was to hang onto... after I while I could only smell the sea.. it didn't hurt my head as this smell was nice.. but I did pull my shirt over my nose to block out all the smells, well not all just enough to have a normal like nose. I heard someone come through the trees probably a Mile back to the left- in other words the direction I came from- I didn't panic because I didn't care all I wanted to do was look out at the ocean and enjoy the sight of it even if I'm an anchor to the crew now... I heard a yelp and grumble of indifference before I think I knew it was papa.. the person had used their wings to fly up to me as I heard really really loud wings beats "ah!" I quickly covered my ears as the shirt fell my nose went crazy again.. I looked next to me and there papa was just sitting there. He looked at me with a sigh, "kid-." I looked away with a sniff I tried not to cry.. "I'm a monster... I- my eyes are better than normal people now.. and ears and smell are like a thousand times more intense!" I had started to cry a bit I felt something furry, I touched my head and butt and there was a fluffy wolf tail and a pair of ears on me, I only whimpered and curled into a ball crying, I felt papa trying to grab me so I quickly pulled away flying into the air "DONT touch me! I could hurt u or something.." I flew off out over seas.

I didn't go to far just far enough that circling back would lose him on the trail, I flew up and up and up to get over the clouds, I smiled, there was no smell up here and it was beautiful. Sure I could hear papa below me confused, so I went down slowly below the clouds and pushed him down a bit before going back up, "HEY- what- huh? Who did that?" I giggled, he was so confused .. I dived down right in front of his face scaring him, I laughed and swooped up gliding in an angle down to the island. I landed on a tree in the forest, I heard him fly up overhead so I laughed, I shot up again and went back to the lighthouse, I heard him coming back around and sighed- he doesn't give up! I turned around I shoved him down again but father this time causing him to crash hopefully, "LUCIFER" he yelled at the top of his lungs, that's gonna cause him to lose his voice for a couple weeks, I laughed and continued my way across town, I made my way to fly over the city, "WOOOO HOOOOO!! THIS IS AWSOME! TAKE THAT PAPA!" I was loud enough I got a couple people well- more like the whole towns attention- I yelled out dragon and turned into a medium sized dragon- but instead I black and red! I looped into a circle before turning into a Phoenix making a trail of u thick black fire in the air.

I turned back to normal and swooped down before pulling up flying in all the alleyways and everything, I flew up and up and missed a a couple bullets "AAAAAAAH WHY ARE YOU SHOOTING ME" I panicked and flew above the clouds I hovered there, I heard a couple bullets coming for me and flew to the right, I quickly flew down and back to the village more like the jungle really.. I decided to go hide deep in the jungle.

A bullet had grazed my hand, so I quickly went to hut and grabbed some bandages to cover it. It was a pretty deep cut and hurt like hell but I managed- not all girls are cry baby's! I had wrapped my hand carefully but also pretty tight.. "shit.. if papa saw this with dad they would freak!" I sighed and curled into a ball, "I know your there papa...I'm lucky you aren't screaming right now.,." He took careful quiet steps towards me and sat down, he carfully wrapped his arms around me and whispered as quiet as he could "I love you kiddo... but please don't run off.." I nodded and put a hand on his arm. I stood up, turned around, and hugged him.. it was one of the few hugs we share... we don't hug we cuddle.. but this was a hug. He hugged me back, "cmon Iv we gata go... adventure awaits!" I smiled and giggled before I took his hand as he stood and led us out of the jungle and to the ship. He had asked Uncle Yassop if he could make me something to help with my ears and nose, he nodded! The eye sight was just stuck the way it was!

We got ready packing the ship and all, it was time for our next voyage! As we head out the nice lady Makino waved goodbye "BYE BYE MAKINO!!!" I shouted, I turned to papa he was giving her a smile and waved goodbye. I could tell he liked her- but she wasn't to fond of him yet! To bad-.

It's been a couple days at sea and my nose couldn't take it anymore I ran to my room and hid under the covered crying to myself how if I didn't eat so much I would be like this... I heard someone come in so I tightened my ball and continued to cry, to additional protection I used my wings to cover me so I just looked like a ball of color now.. the bed had an extra weight above my head, "lu.." came the raspy, deep, crackling voice of my papa. I only whimpered under the covers.. "k-id" he put a hand on my back and rubbed it a bit, it calmed me a bit but still..what if I stop eating- will it go away?- I shouldn't eat so much-we run out my food to quickly because of me...I should no/ will eat less or stop eating so much.- I unraveled my ball and poked my head out of the covers, wolf ears pined to the side of my head.

Papa was there with a worried look on his face, he rubbed circles on my back with two of his fingers to calm me a bit, I only scooted up and lay my head on his lap, I had grown to a normal size in the past few days... so his lap wasn't as large as it used to be, it was about normal to me now... I sniffed before wrapping my arms around myself. Papa put his hand on my side, "ki-d you o-k?" I shook my head and had started to start my crying again this time now soaking his pants in my tears. He didn't mind though... I was his kid- and I was crying... I had started to get a feeling of something bad was going to happen but I shoved it off.. "p-papa... if... if I would eat less would this have never happened?" He picked me up carefully and hugged me "ki-d no it's n-ot ur f-ault" I sniffed "did we arrive at an island yet.." he shook his head "no we are he-adding back to foo-sha village fo y-our safety." I nuzzled into him my tail wrapped around his arm the ship leaned and creaked a bit as we sat there enjoying each others warm comforting embrace... we didn't let go not even when papa Benn walked in he stood infront of us, papa moved his head from stuffing his face in my hair. He looked up to him "he-y" papa Benn took me from papa and instead cradled me he was just as warm so I stayed close, papa stood up and hugged the two of his hiding his face into other papas shoulder.

We arrived back in foodha village and ace ran up and grabbed me I followed him and papa let us be.

Ace brought me to where blue jam was I ran wanting to fight him for being rude, ace didn't stop me I ran to go hit him but he caught me "GUYS LOOK THIS GIRL SHE STOLE FROM US!" I had went to a state of panic and started to flail around before they began to tie me up, there was a fire and the hung me over it, "LET ME GO!" They only laughed before I had started to cry a bit. Blue jam himself began to interigate me, he wasn't very happy so he used spiked kick led braces and started hitting my stomach makeing deep gashes all over me.

I had cried and cried... but I never told them we're ace and sabos treasure was- they needed that- they were my brothers.. he had enough and made a large gash over my eye, I closed it and screamed in immense pain, they cut me down but I didn't move. I only hunched over and cried holding my stomach were it was bleeding, I never opened my eye- I was to scared to.. I heard some fighting out side of the hut, my breath sped up, it was getting hard to see, hard to hear, was I going to die? No papa needs me i cant.. it's.. cold... so- tierd, c-can't go to sleep must stay awake! I heard some calling my name my hearing re adjusted "LU-CIA!" I heard papa, but I couldn't calm down there was to much panic to much pain.. he picked me up and quickly cradled me practically crying, "well well a pirate eh?" He stood up with I growl, I looked down and saw sabo, I fourced my way down standing okish- I went to grab sabo but someone shoved me off, I growled and he cried "I-I'm sorry lu.." I looked up to his father- as he held a match in his hand I stood up with a growl before using my wings to try and grab the match, the man threw it at me instead of dropping it "AHHH!" It burned where the large gash was closing the gasp but causing a giant burned spot. I flew back holding my hand over my eye trying to get control of where to go, I felt someone grab me and started flail around, "STOP MO-VING" it was papa, I stopped with a whimper as he held me in a close protective stance, he unsheathed his sword, I heard it.. my face was currently in his chest right now.

I heard something light on fire and started to shake a bit, gripping onto shanks... he picked me up and started to run "kid, st-Ay awake... for me please!" We ran through the forest quicker than I could ever imagine.. my vision became blurry, "so... sleepy... wana sleeeep.." he made sure I stay awake "NO YOU CA-NT KID!" I had mended up passing out in his arms and waking up in a bed with kincade standing over me. He quickly ran out and in came papa "LUCIA!"
