The cafe today was a lot more easier to work in since the expansion. Plus, Vanya had been practically glowing all day because of it. Though the cafe had to be closed for the construction work yesterday, Vanya knew it would be worth it. And it was, at least for her.
"Hey, Hazel called and said he's not going to make it here today. Something about his car breaking down." Five said, putting the phone away. "That's okay, as long as he's alright and not in any danger, he can take the day off. I don't mind." Vanya smiled warmly and brightly. "You've been smiling all day. I love to see that." Five grinned back.
Cha Cha got out of the kitchen and took her kitchen gloves off. "Phew, I'm glad we have all this new space. It's busy today. I wish Hazel was here to help with the workload." Cha Cha complimented the cafe and then mentioned how tired she was. "Yeah, but we'll just have to manage until Hazel can come back. Or we could hire one or two of me and Vanya's siblings temporarily?" Five suggested. Vanya thought about Diego and Luther breaking the windows of the cafe, and then Five suddenly thought about Klaus trying to cook and catching something on fire. Allison would probably be the only one that could possibly help with any harm to the cafe.
"Nevermind, bad idea." Vanya and Five said both at the same time.
"Once again, like I said. We'll just have to manage." Five shrugged. Suddenly, the phone rang again. "I'll get it." Five said and walked back to the phone and picked it up. "Parapluie Café, Five Hargreaves speaking." Five replied. "Hey Five, it's Diego." Diego was on the other side.
"Yeah, what's up?" Five leaned on the counterspace that was underneath a case of spices. "You know that conversation about all of us having weird dreams and all that crap?" Diego asked. "Yeeaaaah?" Five said with a confused voice. Where was this leading to...
"I had a weird dream today." Diego said seriously.
Five couldn't believe it. How was this possible?!
"What was it about?" Five asked, curiosity coating his voice tough. "I could throw knifes, really well, in-fact, I could like...control them, like they were remote-controlled. Except without the remote and it was just a crazy dream. I don't know what the..." Diego trailed off when Five interrupted him; "Why is it we're having these dreams? And do you think Vanya's going to have a dream next? She's the only one that hasn't had the weird dream happen to her." Five asked, concerned at this point. "I mean, maybe?" Diego had the voice version of a shrug in his reply, basically. Five bit his lip, then quietly replied. "Alright... Well, I need to work so. Yeah."
"Bye." Five got ready to hang up.
"Bye Five." Diego got ready to hang up.
They both hung up at the same time and Five put the phone down.
This was getting...scary.
