Author's Notes
1. I do not own Xiaolin Showdown but I do love both of the series. I do own Gloria/Gizmo who is Jack's daughter in fanfiction; she'll be a character throughout the story and I hope you will all like her
2. Due to the back to back holidays, a busy work schedule, and other real life events; it's been around two months or so since I've posted and I apologize for that. Hopefully I will be able to post more often but I can make no promises.
3. Standard warning - There will be more yaoi in future chapters, but if that's not your thing then luckily for you it's not in this chapter.
4. I waited a while but no one offered me any ideas on what Jack and his family should do, thus I decided to just do some ordinary "Rich people" activities.

Hi Daddy, Hi Lady Hera, Hi Chase." Gizmo greeted the trio after Jack had knocked on her door and she had opened it
"Hello sweetheart, and hello to you too Felix." Jack said to his daughter and to the small black haired boy that had also popped his head out of the room.
"Hello Uncle Jack, and hello to you too Mister Young and Lady Hera." Felix said in an enthusiastic but polite way.
"Are we going to go look for my Mom and Dad now? Lady Hera told Gizzy and I earlier that we had to wait until you two showed up before we could?" Felix added in an even more enthusiastic way.
"Yes we're going to find them, thank you both for listening to Hera; good job." Jack praised the two kids, knowing that Felix especially had a hard time being patient when it came to waiting.
"You're welcome, now come on! Now come on, let's go find them and then find Grandma Othello and Grandma Spicer so we can find out what we're doing!" Gizmo chimed in excitedly, earning an eager nod from Felix.
"Don't worry we're going." Jack said with a chuckle before signaling for the two kids to follow him.
Luckily for the two kids, Vincent and Cosette's room was fairly nearby and were ready to find Jack and Vincent's mothers; eventually the group found the two women waiting for them in the large family room.
"There you all are, Vivianna and I were just about to come look for you." Jack's mother said with a smile upon the sight of the group coming in.
"I told you they would come to us in time; Sylvia." Vivianna said with a chuckle.
"You were right, I'm glad you encouraged me to wait; I enjoyed our talk." Jack's mother said with another smile.
"Anyway, I'm sure you're all wondering what we'll be doing today; Vivianna you and I will just have to continue our talk later." Jack's mother added when the group continued to stand in silence in front of them.
"You're right Sylvia, go ahead and tell them." Vivianna said with an amused smile when a few members of the group shifted in embarrassment at the previous comment.
"I've decided that we'll be doing something simple today, as a good way to get everyone more comfortable around each other; I've called my favorite country club and told them we'll be coming to play golf." Jack's mother explained, looking very proud of herself.
"Golf huh? It's been a while since I've played, it'll be nice to get to do so again" Jack said with an amused chuckle.
"It was one of the few sports Jack was good at when he was younger,I could hardly ever beat him. Jack's mother complimented.
"Is that right, well I look forward to seeing him play then." Chase said with a smirk.
"Don't get too excited, like I said; it's been a while." Jack said, turning slightly pink as he spoke.
"Tu es si mignon quand tu es gêné Jack." Cosette teased in French.
"Adesso Cosette, lo imbarazzerai ancora di più." Vivianna scolded in Italian as Jack turned even more pink from what Cosette had said.
"Why don't we save the teasing for later, you two; let's get to the car and get to the country club." Jack's mother chimed in as Chase and Hera smirked in the background at Jack's embarrassment.
"That sounds like a lovely idea, thank you Sylvia." Chase said, trying his best not to chuckle as Jack nodded eagerly.
"You know now that I think of it I didn't see a new car parked when Jack, Chase, and, Gloria, and Hera arrived; where did the staff take it?" Vivianna pointed out, tilting her head in a curious way.
"Oh well um, we didn't actually use a car to get here; we used other means." Jack briefly explained, not knowing how his mother in law would react to seeing the Golden Tiger Claws.
"It hardly matters to me how you all arrived, besides when I said that we should head to the car I meant the limo; that we can all ride together." Jack's mother said, sensing Jack's hesitation to continue talking about how they had arrived and changing the subject.
"Wait the limo? Don't you think that's a bit overzealous?" Vincent chimed in, sounding surprised.
"Oh hardly dear, overzealous would be taking the private helicopter there like my ex husband used to; despite the country club being not that far away." Jack's mother explained with a smile.
"Of course if you would all rather take the helicopter then I am..." Jack's mother started to say in a nonchalant tone but got interrupted by Vincent.
"No that's quite alright, the limo sounds perfect!" Vincent said in an eager and insistent way.
"I take it you're still afraid of heights Vince?" Jack asked, trying not to chuckle at his brother in law's response.
"I wouldn't say that I was afraid, I'm just not particularly a fan is all." Vince said, turning slightly pink himself now.
"Right, well in any case I think taking the limo will be fine. Let's get going then." Jack said, trying not to chuckle as he signaled to his mother that he was ready to go.
"Follow me everyone." Jack's mother said with an amused smile before heading to the garage where the limo was already waiting and running for them.
"Look at all of these cars, you have so many Ms. Spicer." Hera said in surprise as they entered the garage and saw not only the limo but also a collection of both antique but also modern cars.
"They used to be my husband's, honestly I've been thinking of selling more of them back to him; but don't tell him that; it's far more entertaining to have him beg me to let him buy them back." Jack's mother said with a giggle as the limo driver opened a door for her.
"How deliciously evil, I see where Jack gets it from." Chase complimented, helping Jack's mother into the car before the driver could.
"Why thank you Chase, but believe me that's nothing." Jack's mother said with a smile before getting into the limo.
"She's not wrong, there's plenty of other stories she could tell you; and not all of them relate to my father." Jack said to Chase as he helped Gizmo get into a booster seat that had been placed in the limo.
"I very much look forward to hearing them." Chase said with an eager smirk as the limo driver opened a door for him and Jack.
"I always love listening to Sylvia tell her stories about dealing with her husband, if only I'd had the strength to deal with mine the same." Vivianna said as she too got in.
"You were in what seemed like a perfectly healthy relationship for years, he only started acting like a monster in your children's teenage years and by the time you realized how bad things had gotten it was too late to escape without help." Jack's mother said kindly to Vivianna as Vincent, Cosette, and Felix all got in as well.
"Luckily, you now have me as an ally; and you can bet I won't let that man anywhere near any of you as long as I draw breath." Jack's mother added in a kind but also determined way as the limo started moving.
"As grateful as we are to have you around Sylvia, we also can't help but feel guilty as well. My horrible father has threatened you in the past and has tried on multiple occasions to make good on his threats." Vincent said, looking ashamed as he spoke.
"Which is why I've taken it upon myself to protect not only myself but those I call family, I have a fantastic doctor who checks up on me frequently, my own private chefs who test my food for poison, and I not only have human security but also have Jack's robots to protect me and you all as well." Jack's mother said with an unconcerned wave of her hand.
"I was careless two years ago and that cost Alana her life, it also cost Jack and Gloria their freedom for two years. That will never happen again, if I have to use my entire fortune to keep it from happening again then I will do so." Jack's mother added, seeming even more determined than before.
"Mom, what happened two years ago wasn't your fault," Jack said kindly, as the rest of the car grew silent.
"I appreciate you saying so dear, but that doesn't stop me from wishing I had done more." Jack's mother said with a soft but slightly sad smile.
"On a happier note, it looks like we're almost to the country club!" Jack's mother added in a more pleased sounding tone as the limo began to slow.
"That really wasn't that far at all, your ex husband really took a private helicopter to this place?" Chase said in a surprised tone, clearly surprised but also helping with changing the subject.
"Embarrassing isn't it? The man used to love flaunting his money, but after the third time he did it the country club politely insisted he not have the helicopter land on the course and wait to use the helicopter until after the finish the helicopter pad." Jack's mother explained.
"Are you saying that the country club built a helicopter landing pad just to stop your ex husband from landing on the course?!" Hera asked in a surprised but also slightly indignant tone.
"Well that's not the only reason, but it certainly added to how fast it was built." Jack's mother explained.
"Was I not around when this happened, I honestly don't remember Dad ever landing the helicopter on the course." Jack asked, looking just as surprised as Hera.
"You were visiting your grandmother Phyllis at the time, I'm surprised she didn't tell you about it; she never liked your father and was always eager to tell me that his various mistakes were yet another reason I should divorce him." Jack's mother said with a sigh as the limo slowly came to a stop.
"I do recall there being multiple times when I'd visit her and then she end up telling me about something stupid he had done, but it happened so often that it's hard to remember all the different things he did." Jack said with a shrug.
"Fair point, I really should have listened to your grandmother sooner when it came to divorcing your father; but don't you dare tell her I said that." Jack's mother sad with another sigh at first but then became very serious.
"Don't worry Mom I won't, though now that you mention it I really should call her and say hello. I haven't spoken to her for two years, she's probably furious with me." Jack said with a chuckle at first but then sighing.
"I told her what happened to you, so she knows why you haven't been in contact. That being said, yes; you should contact her and let her know you're alright." Jack's mother said as the driver opened the door nearest to her.
"Then again, maybe if you wait long enough one of the curses she's using will actually work on Vivianna's ex-husband and he'll just drop dead." Jack's mother said doing her best to stifle a chuckle as she stepped out of the limo.
"Wouldn't that be wonderful, that being said; don't keep your grandmother worrying about you on my or Vincent's account." Vivianna said also doing her best to not chuckle.
"Jack's grandmother uses curses, is she of magical descent?" Hera asked in a curious way as the rest of the group got out of the limo.
"I wouldn't say she's magical, though she does study such things and has a particular fondness for what many consider to be darker magic. It's mostly a hobby for her, though occasionally things do happen after a more serious attempt at a ritual she's done." Jack's mother explained.
"Ah I see, still; that's impressive." Hera said with an approving nod.
"Why thank you, unfortunately I've never had much luck when it comes to performing rituals; now Jack on the other hand is another story." Jack's mother said as the group began making their way inside.
"What are you talking about Mom? I can't do anything remotely close to what grandma Phyllis can do." Jack said looking confused, whilst Chase and Hera meanwhile looked intrigued.
"You would have been able to do more if your father hadn't insisted I put a stop to your grandmother more seriously teaching you, in fact as I'm sure you recall; there was a period where you didn't get to see your grandmother much at all." Jack's mother said with a surprisingly heavy sigh.
"Yeah I remember, that's around the time I started tinkering with technology and became more interested in that. By the time I was able to see Phylis again she said I had lost most of my magical talent but that we could find a way to work in technology if I was interested, but I was so busy with other things so I didn't take her up on the offer." Jack said with a sigh of his own.
"I don't regret you getting into technology, but I do regret not forcing you to take up your grandmother's offer; imagine what magic and technology could do together." Jack's mother said with yet another sigh.
"It's never too late to find out, perhaps your grandmother would still be willing to help teach you." Chase offered in a surprisingly encouraging way.
"I suppose I could ask her, it certainly wouldn't hurt." Jack said, earning a nod from both Chase and his mother.
"Let's worry about all that later, we came here to play golf and people are staring at us and probably wondering why we're just standing here." Vincent chimed in all of sudden, causing those that had been talking to realize that they were in fact being stared at.
"Right, let's go to the reception desk and check in." Chase said in a composed way, earning a nod from the rest of the group who slowly made their way to the reception desk.
Luckily for the group, it didn't take long for the receptionist to check them; once she had she informed them that Jack's mother had even taken time to prepare the golf equipment they needed to play, as well as outfits to make them all stand out a little less. After telling them all this, the receptionist had another employee lead them all to their respective locker rooms to change.
"I must admit, I've never worn anything like this before. Do you think I'll look strange?" Chase said, staring slightly at the outfit Jack's mother had prepared for him.
"It's just a red polo shirt, black golf slacks, and black golf shoes Chase; I think you'll look just fine." Vincent said in a half teasing and half serious way as he helped Felix get dressed.
"If anything I'd suggest you tie your hair up and put the pony tail through the back of the hat, as someone with long hair as well I can tell you that it makes a difference." Vincent added in a more serious way as he pulled his own long black hair back.
"Here, you can have one of my hair ties. As for you Jack, you had better remember to put sunscreen on every fifteen minutes or so, either that or I will rub it on for you." Vincent continued to speak, first to Chase who immediately dropped the hair tied in shock after Vincent told Jack he'd rub sunscreen on Jack.
"Don't worry Vince, I'm not about to get sunburnt. Believe me, I've learnt my lesson many times before now." Jack said doing his best not to chuckle at Chase's response and helping him by picking up the hair tie.
"Good to hear, but I'll be keeping an eye on you mister." Vincent warned, hiding a chuckle as Jack handed Chase the hair tie.
"I wouldn't expect anything less, why don't you go wait for us outside with the others; you're distracting us from getting ready." Jack said in a half teasing way.
"Oh I am huh, fine then; Felix and I will meet you both out in the lobby." Vincent said with an amused smile before taking Felix out with him.
"You didn't have to make him leave, I'm perfectly fine." Chase said in a slightly embarrassed way.
"Uh huh, sure you are. You know he was just joking about rubbing sunscreen on me, right?" Jack said kindly as he took Chase's long hair in haid and quickly but gently tied it up.
"I'm not sure he was, but he didn't mean for it to sound the way it did. In any case, he won't have to worry; because I am more than capable of rubbing sunscreen on you myself if needed." Chase said in a matter of fact way, though doing his best not to look embarrassed as he spoke.
"Oh I know you are, but neither of you will have too; because like I said I will be remembering to put my own sunscreen on." Jack said, letting go of Chase's hair and quickly putting his own uniform on.
"Now come on, we got some golf to play; I'm totally going to beat you and the rest of you!" Jack added in a much more determined sounding way.
"I thought you said that it had been a while since you last played?" Chase asked, giving Jack a slightly skeptical looking smile.
"Oh it has been, but like Mother said earlier; this is one of the few sports I was good at. Also I'm more determined now, which hopefully means my old golf skills will kick in." Jack said with a determined chuckle.
"Very well, I will make a wager with you then." Chase said with a mischievous smirk.
"I'm listening." Jack said in an intrigued way.
"If you beat all of the adults in our group's scores, I will convince them all to allow us a moment to ourselves and will treat you to a meal at this country club." Chase said, smirking even more as Jack's expression changed.
"What happens even I don't beat everyone?" Jack asked in an intrigued way.
"Weren't you just saying that you would beat us all? Are you saying now that you've lost your confidence?" Chase asked in a mischievous and teasing tone.
"No of course not, I have every intention of beating you all. I'm just asking what would hypothetically happen if by some chance I didn't." Jack said, trying to sound as confident as possible.
"Ah I see, well in that case you will treat the whole group to lunch; which means you and I will have to have a private meal another time." Chase said with a smirk.
"Not going to happen Chase, you and I are going to have a meal alone together!" Jack said in an extremely determined way.
"We shall see Jack, now let's go play." Chase said signaling for Jack to follow him out.
"Why do I get the feeling he's not going to make this easy for me? Oh who am I kidding, of course he's not going to make it easy; this is Chase Young we're talking about." Jack thought to himself, wondering what Chase was going to do to make the golf game harder.
"It won't do me any good to stand here and worry, I just need to get out there and play the best game of golf I can so I can win. I will earn that meal with Chase!" Jack continued to think to himself, getting lost in thought for a minute.
"Are you coming or not Jack, you're not intimidated are you?" Chase asked suddenly, having popped his head back into the locker room and snapped Jack out of his thoughts.
"Of course I'm not, let's go. I'm ready to win this golf game!" Jack said in a determined way, hurriedly making his way out of the locker room, followed by a very amused looking Chase.
