Don't Own anything.
'thought'
"Speech"
"Tvs, Radios, and Text via book or newspaper... when those are around..."
I cup my chin, letting out a low hum as I sit behind the countertop, glaring down at the silvery melted pear before me.
Soon.
The door jingles, as I take the fruit and will it to disappear.
"I'm back." A familiar female voice calls out as they enter the store.
"Hey, Lis. It's been a wh-"
I blink owlishly.
Instead of the normal brown haired girl in a dark brown or grey soot covered shirt, apron, and pants I am looking at a girl with bright pink hair and a red hoopskirt.
"…"
"I-uh... see you've noticed my change in appearance." The blacksmith whispers while doing a small spin. "So... uh... what do you think?"
"It suits you, honestly." I admit. "The pink hair and the outfit are pretty cute."
A tinge of red appears on her freckled cheeks. "T-Thanks I'm glad you like it. Asuna gave me some advice about how to get more customers. SAO has finally gotten out of its early stages, so I'm slowly raising my prices to something a little more... uh... 'industry rate' as the other Argo would say."
"So, you want to hang out? Or are you here to buy something?" I ask.
"Oh, it's just been a while since I've come to see you." The girl admits. "I've got a lot of orders piled up, so I can't stay long."
"it's really good to see you." I smile with a quiet nod.
The door behind me creaks open as Silica comes through the door, drying her hair with a towel as she wears a T Shirt and shorts I bought her recently.
Lisbeth pauses. "H-Huh?"
"L-Lisbeth?!" The brown haired girl gasps. "Oh no! I'm too indecent to meet someone as important as her!"
She turns on a dime and rushes back through the door.
"…"
"That was my employee. Silica." I explain.
"Y-You never said you were hiring." The pink haired girl whispers.
"Well, honestly, I wasn't planning on it, but she sooort of came in here while being chased by a lot of monsters. Plus, her being here means that I don't have to be here at all times which is useful. Then there's the fact that Aincrad's system is a very good second opinion for my appraisals."
"I... see... you know I could have come here, right?" She points out, I can tell there's a slight jealousness to her tone.
"But then the people of SAO would be without your amazing weapons. Besides. You're still planning on coming here later, right? I don't know if Silica will be staying after SAO has been cleared." I placate calmly with a slight shrug.
"You're right!" The pink haired girl declares as she turns and begins to march back through the door. "I should get back to perfecting my skills, then-"
"Wait. Before you leave."
"Huh?" She mutters, glancing back to me.
"There's two things I need you to do. Firstly. I've got a new metal and I need- and I cant stress this enough- I NEED you to turn it into a sand-like powder for me as soon as possible. Like, a small bag full at the very least."
"Huh? Why?"
"I connected to a world where some people are made of elements and the only way to hurt them is to one: have a secret power which I don't have at the moment. Two: have a counter element, like fire for ice. Or three: Have this metal take away their powers."
She stares for a long moment.
"Thing two is that I need you to get into contact with Argo. I want her to invite Silica to 'The Bold' so I can send out messages without waiting for someone to come here."
"Alright! I can do both! Can you show me this new metal of yours?"
"It's an ore right now. It doesn't matter if you smelt it down or not. I just need it in a powder state.
I walk over to the far side of the room where a small storage room sits. I open the door and step inside, Lisbeth following after me. "Here it is. Oh. I've also got some interesting weapons for you to take look at."
She blinks at the large metal box with long strips of black material filling it.
Some stone also sit inside the box as well, but we were able to clean the hunks of rock from most of the sea prism stone.
It actually took Erza quite the effort to saw through the cage. She had to target structural weak points to even get it to break.
I can see her eyebrows shoot up as she approaches the sideways safe and picks up a hunk of the Sea Prism Stone.
"Wow... this is close to endgame ore."
"Can you make use of it?"
"Well, yeah. I can manipulate it and stuff... but I can't turn it into an actual metal yet. But even like this it's top quality. Just grind it down to power, right?"
"Some of it. Like a bag full. The rest you can use for your own purposes."
"I'm not just going to take it for free Argo!" The girl exclaims.
"Fine." I relent with a quiet sigh. "Can you take a look at these, then?"
With a flash three weapons appear in my grasp, the grade swords I claimed from my little raid on Crocodile's vault.
She gasps as she looks over the weapons. "Woah! The craftsmanship is incredible!"
"So, what can you enhance those to, roughly?" I ask.
She nods slowly a small grin on her face "These first two are top class swords. It's among the best I have ever seen! I can go up to plus fifty for each of them easily. The only thing that has ever gotten close is the floor forty seven's war hammer drop which could go up to plus forty seven. But this katana on the other hand..."
She unsheathes it effortlessly, causing my eyebrow to twitch slightly in annoyance. "It requires a katana skill proficiency of seven hundred and fifty to even draw! Luckily, I can get around this with blacksmithing privileges, but I wouldn't be able to even swing it!"
I finally get a good look at the blade of the sword, it's a dark steely grey that reflects and refracts light like a churning ocean, the swirls on the back of the blade make it look sort of like a devil fruit in a way, it has a dazzling wavy hamon pattern lining the edge, almost blue in color.
"I can bring it up to a staggering Seventy five!"
"Damn." I whistle.
"I... doubt my luck stat is high enough to do so currently, but I might be able to get the rest of these blades up to their maximum." She nods quietly. "I'll max these out for you. Do you care if I keep this sea prism stone stuff here and come get it piece by piece?"
"By all means." I nod. "It's not taking up too much space."
"Thanks Argo!" The girl cheers as she reaches into the box and grabs a long piece of the unprocessed ore. "I'll be back with that sea stone dust soon!"
"Hey Hey, it's me!" The person who is here the absolute most out of any customer appears.
"Well Well, if it isn't the Argo with tits." I lazily observe. "it's been a while."
She smirks and grabs her chest pushing her bust up slightly, trying to make it look even bigger. "You know you like them."
"How's the death game?"
"Oh, y'know. Take down a red guild here. Orange Guild there. So, I heard from a certain blacksmith that you've got an employee?"
"She's cooking right now, but yeah." I nod once.
"Oh, I see how it is, you're too lazy so you just lounge around behind the counter and force some- and I quote from Lisbeth- 'little girl' to cook for you. Talk about monstrous."
"Well, I mean, she only has to cook while I on the other hand am forced to talk to you, so I'd say that I'm having the harder time right now." I hum with a half lidded stare.
She begins cackling as I roll my eyes with a good natured smirk. "Guy-go, you KNOW you love me! Don't fake it!"
"Yeah, yeah." I hum with a sly smile. "Anyways, I called you here actually because I need to know something."
"Oh yeah? What do you need?"
"What is Asuna's cooking proficiency?" I ask.
"I dunno. Like seven hundred and fifty-ish?" The girl shrugs. "Why?"
"I've got a new product I really need her help with." I ominously announce.
"Can... can I see it?" The girl asks.
I summon the same whetstone fruit I had shown Silica earlier.
The girl in front of me leans forwards, eyes skimming the text that appears in front of her.
She flinches abruptly, eyes gliding from me to the fruit.
"Holy fucking shit dude. What the hell?!"
"These fruits are normally unable to be prepared at all. But thanks to SAO bullshit..."
"We can use them as ingredients!" She gasps.
A savage grin appears on her face as she cups her chin. "Maybe this shit game is good for something after all."
"I don't think she's good enough yet, but when she is... you will be paying for Asuna to remove the flaws of these fruits, yes?"
"I will." I nod once.
"Sort of a shame that we don't know what they do." She sighs quietly.
"You might not... but I do."
Her disappointed frown slowly falls away, a devious smirk appearing on her face.
"Well then." The girl hums before gesturing to the fruit. "What do?"
"Makes you a living whetstone... allowing you to bring things to their 'Peak Sharpness' by merely rubbing it on your body."
"Hot." The girl snorts. "But sort of useless. What else do you got?"
"Living Artillery woman?" I suggest as I swap out the fruit for another.
Her eyes glint slightly. "Are you saying that we could get guns in sword art online?"
"Yep. But like, the barrels would be your body." I nod once.
Silica comes out of the door behind me and looks around. "Oh! Someone new. Hello!"
Argo waves. "Heya."
She looks back to me. "You never said you were hiring, eh?"
"To be fair, she sort of walked in here one day and a bunch of drunk gorillas kept threatening to beat her to death if she stepped outside. Besides, it's incredibly useful to have a second appraisal opinion, I mean, without her I would never have known that the downsides of these fruits can be removed. I'd eat one, then I'd sink like a hammer whenever I take a step into water. Hell, knowing me, I'd forget about it, take a bath, then fucking drown." I shrug as I take a seat behind the countertop.
"Still, you managed to snag, THE 'Dragon Tamer' Silica?"
THE Dragon Tamer Silica seems uncomfortable with the sudden attention she is getting. "W-Well, I had gotten into a fight with Rosalia about healing items a-and, well. I might have gone off on my own."
"Rosalia?" Argo questions.
"Oh, she was a new person in my party. I didn't know her well." The brown-haired girl honestly answers.
"The information's probably a bit old... but it is a lead." The blonde girl in front of me whispers to herself. "Anyways, back on the topic of fruits, I assume you have one you want to eat?"
"I do." I nod once.
"Can I know what it does?"
"Mercury man." I reply with a cheeky grin.
"Do these all just... like turn you into things?" She asks with a small head tilt.
"Yep. Have you ever heard of a werewolf?" I ask.
"Uh, yeah, who hasn't?" She asks with a raised eyebrow. "Wait, do you have one that turns someone into a werewolf?"
"No... but I have one that does something similar... but for badgers." I announce.
"Hn. Hn."
"Also, two for dinosaurs, but I'm not too keen on selling them because of how valuable the fruit is."
"A dinosaur?! Becoming a dinosaur has been on like... everyone's bucket list since they were like... four years old. Hell yeah! what do I need to offer for that? My first-born child?"
"We could probably haggle in the storage room. I bet our heated debate would be long, rigorous, and tiring... and quite possibly leave a smell that would annoy me for the next couple of months. You could keep the offspring, though." I smirk, causing the girl to burst out into laughter.
She wipes a tear from her eye and opens her guild menu, Silica becoming incredibly red and flustered in the background.
"Annnnyways, here's a guild invite Silica. Take care of this guy, alright. But you better not do any lewd things while you are all alone, sleeping in the same room and all. Together. At night. In the cold sharing body heat to stave off the sheer temperatures. The heat of your passion being the only thing keeping you nice and toasty as you hold hands and lock lips under the blankets your hearts yearning for-"
"Alright, we get it you pervert. You're frying her brain so I'd like to ask you to quit it." I frown while gesturing over my shoulder with a thumb to the stuttering and shaking girl, stuck in a perpetual feedback loop of blushing and trying not to think about what Argo just said.
"Heh. But you have to wonder... if Aincrad doesn't allow people to take off all their clothes- due to it not being an R rated game- then, I wonder... does it prevent pregnancies?" the girl in front of me simply smirks only to pause, a screen appearing in front of her. "Hold on. Lisbeth is sending me a trade request?"
"…"
She pushes a couple of buttons and the screen closes.
With a flash, a leather stack appears in her hands. "This yours?"
"Sea prism stone powder?" I ask.
"Yep."
"That's mine." I nod once, taking the bag. "Can you please stop teasing my employee?"
"No promises~" Girl-go grins mischievously.
The pink haired girl wipes her brow, having just finished processing the wonder material 'Sea Prism Stone'. Hopefully that'll help keep Argo alive.
A small smile graces her lips.
Merely grinding that material down into powder has done WONDERS for her proficiencies. She gained two full mastery ranks in just under an hour! That's insane! She hasn't leveled up this fast since she first started blacksmithing!
Now it's time to start working on the other things she got from Argo.

Damn.
This is a good sword.
It surpassed Kirito's 'Darkshimmer' sword... and that was dropped by a field boss on floor forty eight.
And the katana she was given is even better.
She'll get to that later.
She brings the sunspot to the nearby bellow forge, grabbing a piece of steel and placing the blade into the fire, its blade glowing red before it even touches the fire due to its natural reflectiveness.
She watches its maximum durability slowly ticking downwards as it heats up, stopping roughly half way as all other blades do.
She takes it to the nearby anvil and lays the steel bar atop of it, then hammers downwards.
The sword glows a bright white color, then with a flash, the blade is cooled and brought up to maximum durability.
Well, actually, more than maximum durability.
Durability: 451/451
The damage has improved as well.
Base Damage: 717
She nods slowly with a slight smirk, preparing to do it again only to freeze as a screen appears in front of her.
*Ping*
A unique skill has been unlocked:
H-Huh?
Meito Creation:
Proficiency 1/1000.
Meito. A term for blades far above the standard sword or axe which in comparison is just scrap given shape and form. A Meito is a true masterpiece with each having their own unique name to differentiate them from other 'Iron Sword's or 'Frostite Swiftblade's. There are four tiers to 'Meito's. firstly 'Grade', then 'Skillful Grade', followed by 'Great Grade', and finally 'Supreme Grade'.
With this skill you are given the ability to create Meito-level blades. When you begin the forging process of a new sword, simply activate this skill and you will be able to select the level of strength your weapon will have. Currently your skill isn't that great, but it's still enough to make your swords a cut above the rest of the same type.
You may only have a certain number of grade blades of each tier. That number increases as your proficiency improves and you further master this ability, but until that point the only way you can free up a slot is by breaking one of your previous works and starting again.
Meitos Created:
Grade(*) Blades 0/1
Notice: Sometimes a sword will come out cursed. Where it will cause increased difficulty to its user if it refuses to acknowledge them as a worthy wielder. However, a cursed blade might not always be a bad thing.
She stares for a long moment.
Her blacksmithing skills... have improved even further?!
She notices the little mark beside 'Grade' blades under her list of created swords.
Grade Blade:
A grade blade is a masterpiece of a sword. Each is unique in its very own way. No two Meito may be exactly the same despite how much you try to make it so.
A grade Blade gains +10% Base Damage and +20% durability. In addition, it may be enhanced by a further +5 over the standard for blades of its type.
She gapes at the effect.
This is a simple 'grade' blade? The lowest effect this skill can offer?!
w-what does 'Supreme grade' do, then?
She slowly looks to the Sea Prism Stone ore sitting on the nearby table.
Her 'Metal Refining' skill isn't high enough to do anything with that yet, but it feels like sort of a waste to use her abilities on the current weaponry.
She... will figure that out at a later point in time. For now she's going to continue to upgrade the weapons Argo gave her.

Pov: elsewhere
A black haired woman sits on the bow of a large blue vessel staring out into the sloshing seas.
She has had a lot of time to think...
Celestial dragons.
Slavery.
Buster Calls.
That man gave her a lot of time to think.
She should honor his last words...
She'd be dead without him and he sacrificed his life delaying Crocodile even slightly.
He was right.
The marines are corrupt.
She rises to her feet and turns around, walking back towards her cabin.
She was promoted for that fiasco.
They hid the fact that Straw Hat Luffy even helped in any way. All they did was wordlessly increase his bounty and put one on Roanoa.
It's disgusting.
How have the marines fallen so far?!
Was... the world government always this rotten?
She steps into her room within the marine battleship, looking to the sole sword kept sheathed above her bed.
Something she had taken from Baroque work's agent... Mr Eleven he called himself.
He was murdered by the other baroque works agents while they had been busy chasing the straw hats through rainbase.
Her eyes stray to the four icy blue throwing knives lain upon the table next to her bed.
The knives she took from the battlefield...
She had gone back to check on the teen who helped them so much, but... he was already gone. He must have been dragged away by something.
He couldn't have survived that attack. That level of attack would have cleaved someone in half effortlessly.
The hairs on the back of the girl's neck raises.
Something is wrong.
Something off about her wall.
She slowly creeps forwards
The wooden wall peels away causing her to flinch back.
"WH-"
This door...
It's the same as the one in the cell.
She carefully reaches out a hand and grabs the handle.
Pov: Returned
I sharply inhale, then exhale as I sit cross-legged on the couch, eyes screwed shut as I try to think about nothing in particular.
Why am I doing this?
Why meditation?
Haki primarily.
Or maybe I'm going for Senjutsu?
I honestly don't know.
One of the two certainly.
It's also just a moment to sit and vibe.
Silica is at the counter, so I don't need to worry about greeting people.
A moment to think...
I have one point five million dollars.
Plus several million in gold, silver, and fruits that give you powers.
What can I get for all that money?
In Dxd it's sort of worthless. The supernatural might not notice some dude pulling out ten dollars here or there, but I'd imagine they'd take note when something more than one hundred thousand is at play.
So, that's a no-go as I'm too weak to really deal with the supernatural landscape at large.
I mean, really... CROCODILE almost wiped me out.
Crocodile can't smite an entire town off the face of a map with a single attack like a good twenty percent of the supernatural back at home... the ultimate class and up.
The next option... isn't one. Sao doesn't allow me to enter the world so money is sort of worthless to me there as I can't buy anything in that world.
The third option? Fairy tail.
I mean...
It's an option.
There are magic stores all across the world.
One hundred and fifty million jewel is certainly a reasonable amount of cash to have in that place. That's five times the grand prize for the Grand Magic Games.
The main issue is that the GOOD shit typically isn't found just laying around all over the place... and if you take into account that Plue's borderline worthless key cost twenty thousand jewel... I bet the more impressive things would seriously cut into my stockpile of wealth.
Then, finally, there's one piece.
That's difficult.
Finding something in the one piece world is REALLY difficult because of the fact that everything's separated by oceans.
I could try Sabody, but honestly, I don't really want to risk that hellscape.
'Hey! This weak guy is carrying around one hundred and fifty million Beri! Let's rob him!'
One wrong move and bam! I'm a slave!
Admittedly, a lot of my issues fall to one thing.
Strength.
If I was stronger, I could go to America in Dxd and casually buy a fifty caliber.
If I was stronger, I could wander around the one piece world without worry of being robbed.
If I was stronger, I would even feel confident enough to make contact with the devils in Kuoh.
Strength is an issue... so why don't I train?
That is... a valid point, actually.
Why don't I train?
Hell, time passes all fucky. I should go into the one piece world and mess around in there for a while.
But then I'd potentially miss the connection to new worlds...
But training here is just so inefficient!
Wait.
What if I... buy a training room?
The system appears in front of me as I my eyes crack open. I cup my chin, looking over the list of what I want.
Mystic Training Zone:
A specialized magical training room. It collects the sands of time spent by the dozens of worlds connected to the shop to speed up training. If one world is currently undergoing a 'Time Skip' as long as you are training within this room during that time, your efforts will reflect that, however, this effect is capped at a maximum of x10.
Area: 50x50x20
Amenities: 'Coliseum space', any and all lethal damage is converted to nonlethal bruising, Training speed increased (up to x10)
Cost: $1,400,000
"Hnnnn."
If I get this, what should I learn?
Haki might be the most obvious one, but, honestly I don't know if it's the best choice.
The best choice for me right now?
Soru.
The 'Shave' technique.
Why fight when you can run away fast enough that you seem to disappear to the eyes of everyone nearby?
Hell, I'll pick up all of the 'Six powers' before I begin my haki training. It'll probably up my survivability quite a bit. Then it's Observation. Armament. Then and only then Conquerors.
This is actually a shockingly good idea.
Huh.
I hear the distant jingling of the front door to the shop.
I rise to my feet and turn slowly, leaving my living room and walk down the hall towards the front of my store.
I enter the room as Silica finishes the little spiel I told her to do for new people that come here. "-Can I do for you today?"
"U-Uh-" the new person begins.
She has short chin-length black hair and glasses, wearing a blue coat and long pants.
Oh hey, Tashigi found this place. That's nice.
She apparently notices me enter the room, her eyes sliding over to me.
She flinches back. "Y-YOU'RE ALIVE?!"
"The news of my death was... greatly exaggerated." I hum as take a seat behind the countertop. "As Silica here has explained. Welcome to Fortune's favors. This is my shop."
"I-In my bedroom?!"
"Where the door appears, I don't control... nor can I leave through it without first being invited out." I state evenly. "Reasonably there could be a door in the middle of the world's greatest vault. Or in the deepest prison. That doesn't really help me in any way though, does it?."
"So, is there anything I can get for you today?" I ask with a bright smile.
The woman stares for a long moment. "uh- I... don't have any money on me?"
"Oh. I see. Well, we also accept trades. And speaking of trades..."
I pull out a notebook. "Looky here."
I flick through the pages like someone would flick through a deck of cards and smirk. "This is Crocodile's personal notebook. Tons of information and blackmail here. Which marines to bribe. Where the secret baroque works outposts are... negotiations with Kaidou."
"P-Please give that to me!"
"Fine." I shrug. "It's not worth much to me anyways... but... I suppose it's quite valuable to you."
"…"
"Pfft-" I snort. "I'm not that much of a monster. Here."
I toss the book underhanded to her.
She fumbles to catch it, eventually clapping the pages together in between her hands, she opens it and flicks through the first couple of pages, flinching back at the content.
"Thank you for this." She nods once, then quickly turns around and rushes back through the door, the shop entrance slamming closed behind her as she offers a final 'goodbye' over her shoulder. "I'll return to buy something soon, I promise! Just as soon as I get my monthly wage!"
There wasn't much for me in that notebook anyways.
Nothing like 'these are the locations of all my safes. The codes are this!'
It looked like his casino safe was his only safe. Or at the very least the only one with truly valuable items like devil fruits and Meito swords.
That's a shame but I don't know if I could handle another ten hours of safe opening.
I turn to look at the far corner of the shop, the right wall- or left if you are looking at it from where I am standing. "Well. I'm going to make a crazy purchase that I'll probably regret but will pay off immensely in the long run."
"Huh?" Silica questions.

The second greatest guild.
His eyebrow twitches slightly at the list of 'Pro Players' in front of him.

Aincrad's strongest guild, yet it has less than a Sixth of the players his own guild has.
He grits his teeth.
This was not how this was supposed to go.
They are almost half way through Aincrad... yet it hasn't even been a year yet.
It's close, mind you, but not quite.
He fully expected this to last five years. Possibly even a decade! But eleven months in and they have almost reached the half way point.
He lets out a quiet sigh, rubbing his forehead.
Can... he really be mad at them? They are just playing by his rules. Even if they are bending them slightly. He must praise their creativity.
That one NPC was annoying, but now that people are at a higher level than she ever reached she has become a nonfactor.
To think that he would also become a prisoner in this game of his... with the system making changes beyond his control.
He sighs and shakes his head.
Floor fifty- like with floor twenty five- is when the difficulty of this game truly rises. Those who are simply coasting on the shoulders of the powerful will be culled leaving only the best of the best.
The boss on floor fifty is stronger than the one on even floor sixty.
Its attack patterns, attack speed, abilities, and mobility are all a cut above the rest.
Most of these people will probably die to it.
He won't worry about it.
He quietly frowns to himself as a thought comes to his mind.
Should he attempt to raid that floor boss himself?
Some of the Knights of the Blood would most certainly die, but... the boss drop for the Bloodbound Asura is a one handed sword that can be used well into floor seventy. Just like how the boss drop for floor twenty five could be used for a good ten to fifteen floors... the Asura drops 'The Elucidator.'
He quietly shakes his head.
He has time to think about it. The clearers are taking a break to deal with distasteful player killers. There hasn't even been talk to clear the forty ninth floor labyrinth, let alone plans for a floor they haven't even reached yet.
He idly wonders how many people will reach all the way to the final floor of Aincrad.
How many people will die in the coming floors.
Well, here with another chapter of Fortune's favors! This was more of a scheming chapter for Agro and Argo! Plus, Lisbeth unlocked a unique skill! That'll certainly help out with the clearing of SAO. I wonder what Argo's going to use that Seastone powder for?
Anyways, I wrote this chapter twice. The first time felt like it was progressing too fast for me so I dit some rewriting.
Also. Yes. The broth broth fruit is a logia. There are two movie villains in one piece that have a 'unstandard' logia fruit. The first is Gasparde who is candy syrup, the next is Honey Queen who is 'fluid'. What that fluid is, who fucking knows, but it's pink and she looks a bit like jello when Nami puts her in the cum jar.
soup is soupy. Thus logia.

Reader 451: Nah, that was a joke, he's just going to chill out inside for a while.
SpacebattleForum: the Fuse Fuse fruit isn't THAT impressive. A lot of people seem to overestimate it. If I had to explain it, I would say that it's sort of like 'Gmod Clipping'. I suppose it'd be useful for Lisbeth, combining two ingots perfectly, but she can't 'Fuse Fuse' two devil fruits, and sometimes two things won't work together if you shove them into each other, say for instance things with a bunch of tiny parts and mechanical bits. Or magical enhancements on enchanted items.
Devil fruit: Yep
Guest 001: Of course, he's weak! He's lazy, never trained before, and a lot of his 'racial power' is sealed due to him not having a certain requirement of his race's legend.

Middernacht: Nah, not yet. But it was one of the worlds I was considering.
