Eria, train station.
The group finally arrived at Eria and now wears white military uniforms that will help camouflage in the snow. They are equipped with different weapons.
Jay-Jay has an FN Scar 20s in His hand, Farasha has a long sword equipped on her left side with S&W 500 Performance Center on her left side, Vampirella is equipped with nothing, Will has AK-47 with a Glock 35 on his right side, Issac is equipped with the Bolas Gun, Komi is equipped with a double-barreled saw-off shotgun, Ben is equipped with an AR-15 with a Glock 23 on his left side, Popeye is equipped with his trusty spinach, and Belladonna is equipped with a broadsword and two daggers on both sides.
Farasha is looking at the train station with binoculars, carefully examining the whole base. Making sure she is not missing a single detail.
"What's the status, Farasha?" Isacc asked.
"The train isn't here yet," Farasha said as she lowered her binoculars. "And the station is filled with guards."
"I figured as much," Belladonna said, sharpening her dagger.
"So what's the plan?" Vampirella asked.
"We wait for the train to come," Farasha answered, she sat down next to Will. "It's better if we wait, there is no benefit in drawing attention to ourselves right now."
Everyone nods at this.
Ben looks at Jay-Jay. "So what's Your story, new guy? You must do something that must blow Samin's mind."
"Now, that you mention it, it isn't like Samin to recruit a person like that," Will said while snapping his fingers. "Especially one of Joseph's associates."
Komi nods in agreement.
"Well, I did rescue the group that Joseph sent out," Jay-Jay said.
"True, true, but still, it isn't like Samin to recruit one of Joseph's allies," Belladonna said.
"Eh, I wouldn't think too much about if I was all of you," Popeye said as he lit up his pipe.
"Popeye is right," Farasha agreed. "Samin is a military genius and he probably sees something in Jay-Jay that we don't." Farasha shifted her gaze to Jay-Jay. "I'm sorry that You were sent on a mission like this during Your first day on the Meta Troopers. I promise that I will arrange a welcome party for You when we get back."
"That would be nice," Jay-Jay smiled. "Thank you."
Farasha nods with a smile. "Anytime. And it would be a good way for You to meet Your teammates."
Suddenly, the group hears a train coming and all of them immediately stand on their feet.
"That's the train," Farasha said. "Let's hurry and move. We can't afford to miss that train."
The group nodded and quickly advances toward the train station.
Meta Troopers' base, Samin's station.
Samin is going over the paperwork while Joseph is in a seat across from him, rolling up a blunt.
"Well, I'm glad that we finally have them back," Joseph said with a smile. "And everyone is in a much happier mood now."
"I can see that," Samin plainly replied, not in the mood for small talk.
"And I hear that the Meta Troopers are planning to throw a party for this," Joseph informed Samin. "Also, for having a new member."
"And what am I supposed to do with that information?" Samin asked.
Joseph frowns. "So you can come to the party,"
Samin sighs. "Of course. I pass on that, work is not gonna finish itself,"
"Oh, come on. You can miss a little work, nigga. And it will not kill you to get closer to our allies,"
"Oh, trust me, I would love to get closer to our allies, but our enemies do not rest so neither should we. However, it doesn't matter what I do as you always undermine my authority," Samin said as he take his eyes off the paper and shifted them to Joseph.
Joseph rolls his eyes. "Right, like you always undermine mine,"
Samin was about to retort but decided it was not worth it. "Moving on, what can you tell me about this Jay-Jay character?"
Joseph's eyes lit up in curiosity. "Oh? It's not like to be so interested in any of my allies," He lightly chuckles at that. "Anyway, I cut to the chase, you won't regret recruiting Him. He can bring the morale up no matter what the situation is and He is the finest fighter I ever saw on the battlefield. I do admit I don't know how good of a soldier He is, but He too good for us to let go."
Samin closely listens to the whole thing and he admits He is impressed with Jay-Jay. He knows Joseph has been around for 1 trillion years and for him to say Jay-Jay is the greatest fighter he has ever seen...is saying a lot. "Sounds like one helluva of a Man. You sure we can trust Him?"
Joseph looks him dead in the eye. "I'm sure we can trust Him. I've been working with Him for years and he never let me down once,"
"I see. I just took your word for it," Samin said with a slow nod.
The door opens and the two leaders saw Claudia, Chizuru, Bucum, Miku, and Nico entering the room.
"Oh, I needed that shower," Claudia said with a content sigh as she wipes her forehead with her towel.
"You're telling me," Bucum said as a relieved sigh escaped his lips.
"I managed to get the smell out," Chizuru smiled.
"I can use a nice long vacation after this," Miku says before looking at her two leaders. "Anyway, what is that you two wanted to talk about, sirs?"
"Ah, just the people we wanted to see," Joseph said with a grin. "Manage to get any worthwhile information?"
Claudia shakes her head at that question. "Negative, sir. As soon we got there, we were quickly caught and captured,"
"We managed to put up a good fight, but after a couple of hours, we were quickly overwhelmed," Nico added to Claudia's statement.
"I see," Samin said as he frowns. "Seems like your informant either lied to us or get the information wrong, Joseph."
"I hope it the latter," Joseph said. "It doesn't look good for us if it's the former."
"What's the plan now?" Bucum asked catching everyone's attention. "It not like we can make a truce with the Nether. We tried that and it didn't work out so well." Once he said that everyone turn their attention to Samin.
Samin folded his arms. "Oh please, it was a mistake,"
"A massive mistake," Chizuru said, narrowing her eyes at Samin. "I mean capturing their general wasn't the greatest idea."
"Not to mention you kept quiet about the operation," Miku said her voice laced with bitterness. "You should tell us that you were gonna do this."
"Look, I was just looking out for best interests," Samin defensively said. "I tried to get information out of him, but that didn't work."
Joseph snorts. "Of course, it didn't," Samin shot Joseph a stern glare. "And I admit I fucked up too. Sending any one of our troops would never work out."
"Well, can't argue with you there," Nico said.
"What's the plan now?" Bucum asked. "It not like the Nether is gonna let this go. We captured their general and tried to sneak in one of their bases."
"I don't know," Samin said as he stands up from his chair and looks at the group with an unsure expression. "All I know is that we can't afford a war right now."
"Especially with all the problematic organizations that are rising," Joseph added then he shivers. "That not even mentioning the political landscape."
"So we may have a war upon us?" Chizuru groaned. "This isn't good."
"As much it pains me to say it, a war is coming towards us," Samin said in a displeased tone. "What we need to do is to prepare for it."
"That we do," Joseph said while standing up from his seat. "I'm not looking forward to this."
"All of us are not," Claudia said with a sad expression before her expression turns into determination. "However, we have to protect our own. I'm not losing any of my comrades to the Nether."
Jay-Jay and His group made it to the train station and they quietly snuck onto the train.
"Okay, we are in," Farasha said.
"Hmm, what now?" Will asked.
"Now, we wait," Farasha said as she sit down. "According to the reports, The Tribe of Horror has a factory that produces superweapons on this very planet. The factory is heavily guarded and very large. Not only that, but they are planning to use the superweapons against us."
Everyone (sans Jay-Jay) eyes widen in horror.
"Whoa whoa! What do we do to them?!" Ben asked, shocked at the fact.
"It would make sense," Issac said as he stroked his chin in thought. "We have taken down their financial backer and Joseph took over their business. It would make sense that they would have a grudge against us."
Komi rapidly nods in agreement.
"Aye, maybe we can still talk this out with them," Will suggested.
Belladonna shot him a questioning look. "I don't think they would work, Will,"
"Well, I just guess we need to touch them a lesson," Popeye said, he cracks his knuckles.
"Let's be careful with this operation," Vampirella ordered. "They do have superweapons at their disposal."
"I highly doubt that they take themselves out with us," Farasha said. "However, you do have a point. I was always taught not to underestimate what lengths your enemy will go to win."
Suddenly, the train stopped.
"Huh, that was quick," Ben said.
"We are not at the factory," Jay-Jay said, everyone spun their heads towards Him. "A group of soldiers is coming this way. Hide." They quickly hide behind the crates and boxes while Jay-Jay jumps to the ceiling.
The doors slid open and the group of soldiers walk into the train cart.
"Alright, we need to check the packages to make sure everything is good," A soldier ordered. "Or else, that is our asses."
The soldiers nodded and went to check the crates and boxes.
Farasha looks to each member of her group and mouths the words 'On my single, go.' All of them nod and position themselves to attack. Before Farasha could single, Jay-Jay quietly drops down and got the leader of the soldiers into a chokehold. The leader is surprised by this and she tries to break out of Jay-Jay's grip, but it was no use as she loses consciousness and she teleported away. Jay-Jay quickly moved and knock out all the soldiers with well-placed hits.
"Okay, we are clear," Jay-Jay said as everyone got out of their hiding spots.
Belladonna looks at Jay-Jay with an impressed look. "Man, Joseph wasn't kidding when said You was the greatest warrior he has ever seen,"
"I have to say I'm impressed," Farasha said with a smile. "I've to train with You sometime."
"Impressive," Vampirella said with an approving smile.
"Yo, man You need to teach me how to do that sometime," Will said with an excited grin.
Komi looks at Him with stars in her eyes.
"Man, I could have done that," Ben grumbled.
Issac lightly laughs at Ben. "Sure, Ben,"
"Well, You proved to be one tough Guy," Popeye said.
Soon, the train begins to move again.
"Alright, now we wait," Farasha said as she sit back down with the others following. "This is going to be a long ride. Might as well get comfortable."
Meta Troopers' base, the gardens.
Woo-Hee is strolling around the gardens. Enjoying the breeze that touches her skin and admiring the beautiful flowers. This relaxes her mind, body, and soul, especially with the hectic weeks that the Meta Troopers' have been having. It doesn't matter what they do, trouble always comes to find them. It doesn't matter, she knew what she was signing up for when she joined this team and she will preserve it.
"I figured I would find you here," A male voice said.
Woo-Hee spun around and saw Yi Qing Tian leaning against a pillar, flashing her with his signature smirk.
"What brings you here, Yi?" Woo-Hee asked.
"What, I'm not allowed to visit my best friend?" Yi Qing Tian asked, he push himself off the pillar and walk closer to Woo-Hee.
"I didn't mean it like that," Woo-Hee said with a deadpan look.
Yi Qing Tian chuckles. "I know, I'm just messing with you,"
"Right..." Woo-Hee simply said while crossing her arms. "Anyway, how was the mission?"
"Oh, same old same old," Yi Qing Tian answered. "Nothing I couldn't handle. Anyway, what is the status of the group that Joseph sent out?"
"They have returned safe and sound,"
Yi Qing Tian's eyes lit up at this. "They have?!" Woo-Hee nods. "Hmph, I guess one of Joseph's contacts is good for something."
"Not only that but I heard that Samin recruited the contact to our team,"
"You're joking, right?"
"I'm dead serious. Trust me, I thought I was hearing things when I first heard,"
"Huh, I guess there is a first time for everything,"
"I can't blame Samin though for recruiting Him. We're going to need all the help we can get because ancient civilizations are coming back and terrorists are more rampant than ever. Not to mention, the contact did manage to rescue them from the Nether. So He is quite skilled,"
"You're right. Let's keep our eyes open in case the Nether decided to attack us,"
It has been 9 hours since the last stop.
Farasha and Jay-Jay are on the lookout, and Komi, Popeye, Ben, Belladonna, and Will are sound asleep. Issac and Vampirella are talking to each other.
The train stops. Causing Belladonna, Popeye, and Komi to instantly wake up and sit up. Farasha immediately gets up and walks to the window. She looked outside and saw they have made it to the factory.
"Alright, we are here," Farasha said, she turns around and woke up Will and Ben.
"Oh, what is it?!" Will asked, frantically looking around for any enemies.
"We made it," Jay-Jay said as He helped Ben up.
"What's the plan, Farasha?" Belladonna questiond.
"The plan is we stick to the shadows," Farasha said. "We can't let the Tribe of Horror know that we are here. We split up, Jay-Jay and Will are with me and we take the left side of the factory. The rest of you are with each other and take the right side of the base."
"Sounds like a plan," Ben said as he cocked his Glock 23.
"Good luck and stay safe," Vampirella told Farasha's group.
Will nods. "We will,"
Jay-Jay slowly slid open the door and all of them exited out the train and went their separate ways.
With Farasha's group.
The group hides behind a crane.
Farasha peek her head out of the corner and examined the area. After a couple of seconds of scanning the area, she drops her head.
"Alright, the control room shouldn't be far from here," Farasha told them. "However, it is heavily guarded with many soldiers."
"Hey, don't worry about that babe," Will said in a soft tone. "I mean you are a one-woman army. I saw the things you can do with a sword and I have to say I know not to make you angry."
"Besides, you are not alone," Jay-Jay assured her. "Will and I are with you every step of this mission."
Farasha smiles. "Thanks. Now, let's go. Remember to keep quiet," They nodded and quietly moved to the control room.
Their ears picked up footsteps coming their way and they swiftly duck to cover.
It was three soldiers and they are walking to the control room.
"I got this," Farasha said, she jump over the cover and quietly sped to walk to the soldiers. Once she is close, she grabs the soldier by the throat and quickly spun around his body to send a hard kick to another soldier. The kick connected and it knock another soldier out. The third soldier notices what happen and aimed their gun at her. They were about to fire, but Farasha was too quick as she quickly ran to the soldier and wrap her thighs around the soldier's neck. Knocking the soldier unconscious.
"That's my girl right there," Will said with a proud smile.
Farasha gestured for them to come on as she quietly moves the bodies to an open crate and close the crate and run to the control room with the two following her.
Out of the corner of Will's eye, he notices a soldier heading towards their way. Thinking quickly, Will stop and sneak behind the soldier and put the soldier into a chokehold. The soldier tries to break free, but Will is not bulging. Will hears laughter and he turns around saw another soldier coming out of a corner. Will quickly throws the soldier he currently holding to the other soldier. Both of the soldiers fell to their asses and Will ran to one of them and headbutted them. Putting the soldier out of commission. The other soldier reaches for the gun but Will kick it away and Will elbowed the soldier. Knocking them out cold. Will quickly move the unconscious to good hiding places.
Will quickly ran to his group and they made it to the control room.
"We need to get to higher ground," Farasha said. "That way we can see how many soldiers are in the building."
"Understood," Jay-Jay said as He climbs the ladder with the others following Him.
Once they made it, Farasha wasted no time walking to the window and looking inside the room.
"Hmm, just as I thought," Farasha groaned. "There a lot of soldiers in here."
"What do you suggest we do?" Will asked, concerned about this. "It's not like we can go in guns blazing or else the whole base know that we are here."
"I have an idea," Jay-Jay said, He walk to the window and He phrased His gun through the window.
Farasha's eyes widen in horror. "What are You doing?! Are You trying to get us killed?!"
"Don't worry, the gun is completely silent," Jay-Jay reassured her. He fired one of the soldiers, the bullet made contact with the soldier and put the soldier to sleep, and teleported away. The soldiers noticed this and freaked out. Before they can process the situation, another soldier disappears right from their eyes. By now, the builder went to complete chaos as they have taken out their weapons and aimed them everywhere. Some soldiers tried to escape the building, but Jay-Jay didn't let one of them go. Will and Farasha are impressed by this. After a couple of seconds, Jay-Jay was finished. "Alright, that should be all of them."
"Impressive, what a creative way to use Your powers," Farasha praised.
"Thanks. Now then, let's enter the building," Jay-Jay said, He grabs the two and phrase through the windows. They landed on their feet and Jay-Jay walked toward the control panel.
"Joseph said You are an expert with technology. I hope he is right," Will said.
"Trust Me, he is right," Jay-Jay said as He begins to hack into the computer. "Now, I just need time to disable the superweapons."
"Don't worry we cover You," Farasha said.
Belladonna yawns as she sits down on a crate. She is not gonna lie, this has been a pretty boring mission. Her group has taken care of the last of the soldiers around the base. Now, they just waiting for Farasha, Will, and Jay-Jay to get done.
"Well, that was quick," Vampirella said, surprised at how they have taken the soldiers around the base. "I expected more."
"Well, this is good for us," Ben said in a happy tone. "Because I can catch up with some shut-eye!"
"Oh those soldiers were nothing but chumps," Popeye grumbled.
"Now, we just wait for Farasha and her group to return," Isaac said.
Just then, their comms are ringing. They tap it.
"Hello," Belladonna said.
"How is the mission going?" Samin asked over the comm.
"Oh, it's going great boss," Belladonna answered. "We just waiting for Farasha and her group to come back."
"Ah, that's great to hear," Samin said with a relieved sigh. "Anyway, I'm just calling to see how the operation is going."
"Ah, there is no need to check on us," Ben said. "We got everything under control."
"Okay, well, I talk to all of you later," With that, Samin hang up.
After a couple of minutes, Farasha's group is walking toward them.
"The superweapons are taken care of," Farasha said.
"Well, that was quick," Belladonna said.
Komi nods in agreement.
"Well, I guess we can-" Vampirella didn't get to finish her sentence as she was interrupted by an unholy screech. Everyone immediately got their weapons out and got in their fighting stances.
Before anybody could say anything, Jay-Jay is shot by sticky saliva and it pins Him to a wall.
"Jay-Jay!" Farasha shouted as she runs to God, but she stopped once something landed in front of her. The creature stands up and lets out a roar.
"Great, it's the Yeti," Isaac groaned.
"What are they doing here?" Belladonna asked, surprised to find a yeti here. "I know they like snowy places, but Eria is not Yeti's usual place."
"Whatever it is, I just know something fisher going on," Ben said.
Komi tugs on Popeye's jacket.
"Huh, what is it, Komi?" Popeye asked, catching everyone's attention.
Komi pointed to the distance with a horrified expression and everyone saw an army of Yetis closing in on them.
Everyone's jaw drops to the ground.
"One is enough," Vampirella said with grit teeth.
Jay-Jay raise His body temperature to extreme temperatures and the saliva melted off. He lands on His feet.
"Everyone, to the train," Jay-Jay commanded. "We got what we came for."
"Yes sir!"
And so, the race to the train was on.
Meta Troopers' base, Joseph's office.
Joseph is going through paperwork for his kingdoms and the team. God, he should have thought this through as it was already hard enough running so many gotdamn kingdoms, now, he also has to manage a military team on top of that. However, he doesn't regret it though as the Meta Troopers gave him so many laughs and fond memories. The only problem is Samin. He always knows that Samin will be a huge problem as he has heard of him and know what his personality is. He knows that Samin is an excellent military leader given his feats throughout his service in the military. But Lord, does he suck at politics. That also is one thing that Joseph loves about the Meta Troopers.
It is sheer size. Joseph has been around for trillions of years. He has seen many armies that have quantity yet lack quality, armies that have quality yet lack quantity. However, he has never seen a team that has quantity and quality. The team has only been around for 9 months, yet, all of the members have proven to be great fighters, great fighters, or have skills that prove to be useful in war or politics. Which is why he is planning to get rid of Samin. He has been planning on taking the Meta Troopers for himself. Joseph realized the huge benefit the Meta Troopers would be to his kingdoms and he know he can't let this opportunity go. He tries to run a mutiny against Samin. However, one tiny problem...he has only one member in this little mutiny. He tries to recruit into it, but most of the members don't mind Samin. Sure, they found him strict as hell and a hardass, but they can't deny that he is a great ass leader. This disappointed Joseph as he was hoping they have some build-up resentment toward Samin. No matter Joseph will find a way to make Samin go. He is very close to greatness and he is not giving this up.
"Joseph," Lisa called out through the phone.
"Yes, Lisa?" Joseph responded.
"Frank is here to see you," Lisa said.
"Send him in," Joseph said.
"Yes sir," Lisa hung up.
2 minutes later, Frank enters the door.
Joseph smiles. "Frank, the man I wanted to see!"
"It's good to see you too, Joseph," Frank said with a smile.
"Take a seat," Joseph gestured to the chair.
Frank takes a seat and gets comfortable. "Oh, these chairs are really comfortable,"
"Tell me about it," Joseph agreed. "I'm almost tempted to take one of these chairs for myself. Unfortunately, my superiors watch me like a hawk as they know my reputation." Frank lightly laughs at that. "Anyway, how has the operation been going?"
"Well, I like to say good, but most of the people I tried to recruit just ignore me or tell me to fuck off," Frank answered. "What about you?"
"Terrible on my side," Joseph grumbled, this operation is going to be tougher than he thought. "I thought it'll be easy since Samin is such a hardass, but apparently, people like him or just found him a bit annoying, but his competence makes up for it."
"I see. We were foolish to believe that this would be easy,"
"That we were," Joseph lit up his blunt and takes a drag out of it. "Now, we need to approach this situation differently."
Frank's ears perked at this. "What do you have in mind?"
"We framed him," Joseph said. "It will not be easy, but it can work. All we need to find the perfect crime to frame him for and the Meta Troopers are mine."
Frank thought about what Joseph said and figured it could work, however, it could horribly backfire on them as the higher-ups would not like this.
"Alright, I'm in," Frank said.
Joseph smiled. "Good. Now, we just need to wait. I call you later, I need to finish this paperwork,"
Frank nods and he gets out of his chair. He was about to exit the room, but he stopped. He turns to Joseph.
"Is there any way you can get me to officially be a part of the Meta Troopers?" Frank asked.
Joseph shakes his head. "Trust me, I tried, but none of them want you on this team,"
Frank shrugs his shoulders. "It was a worth shot," With that, Frank left the room.
Joseph looked at the huge pile of paperwork and chills went down his spine. "Let's get this over with,"
"Come on, we're nearly there!" Farasha shouted as she cut down two yetis. Farasha dodges a blow from Yeti and jumps in the air and thrust her sword into Yeti's chest. Knocking it out cold. Another Yeti was about to attack from behind, but Jay-Jay put 10 shots in it causing the Yeti to fall into an unconscious state. Farasha looks at Jay-Jay and gives Him a grateful nod. Jay-Jay flashed her a gentle smile before ducking a swipe from another Yeti. The Yeti roars in anger and slashes at Jay-Jay's back. Jay-Jay sidestepped the attack and sends a hard back kick at the Yeti's leg. This forces the Yeti to fall on one knee. The Yeti growls and was about to spit at Him, but Jay-Jay put a stop to it by sending a spinning kick to the Yeti's face. The force of the kick knocks the Yeti unconscious.
"No matter how many we take out, they just keep coming!" Ben yelled as he reloaded his gun. Once he was done, he immediately shot at multiple Yetis. The shots knock the Yetis out cold. A Yeti managed to grab Ben and slammed him to the ground. Causing blood to spill out his forehead. "OW! Ah, take it easy! I'm pretty sure we could work this out!" Ben shouted at the Yeti. The Yeti just roars and got her claws out. "Or maybe not." The Yeti was about to stab him, but he was shot in the head by Komi. Komi immediately run to Ben and helped him up. "Thanks, Komi." Ben thanked. Komi nods before shooting another that was coming at them. Komi quickly reloads and shot two more yetis before making a break for it at the train.
"We're almost there, keep fighting!" Belladonna commanded. She cut down 5 yetis in one go and dashed to the train. Out of the corner of her eye, she notices Will is overwhelmed. "Hang on Will, I'm coming!" Belladonna turns around and swings at the group of yetis. Taking out 10 of them. The yeti is livid at this and grabbed Belladonna. Belladonna dropped her sword and the yeti begin to squeeze her. Belladonna groans in pain and she manages to grab one of her daggers. She stabs the Yeti's arm causing it to scream and throw Belladonna ground hard. Belladonna screams in pain and coughs up blood. The Yeti angrily walks to Belladonna and was about to stomp her, but the Yeti is shot 25 times in the back. The Yeti weakly screams before passing out.
"You okay?" Will asked, he offers his hand to help her up.
Belladonna takes it. "I've had worse," Will just nods as the two run to the train.
They made it to the train and enter it.
"Alright, I drive the train!" Farasha shouted as she runs to the locomotive.
"I cover you," Jay-Jay said as He run after her while shooting down multiple yetis along the way. Making sure He doesn't waste a single bullet.
"Just get us out of here!" Ben shouted. "Because I'm almost out of bullets!"
Isaac shot down two yetis that were coming for Ben. He shot another one that was behind him. Suddenly, his legs were grabbed from underneath the train. "Shit!" Isaac cursed as he unload his gun into the yeti's arms, but this one was stubborn as it ignored the pain. Isaac squirms from the yeti's but it was no use. Will and Ben grabbed him while Komi shot the yeti's arms. The yeti and the two enter a tug-of-war over Isaac. Will and Ben were strong, but their strength is nothing compared to the yeti's strength. However, Isaac feels the yeti's grip loosen. "Keep shooting at it! I can feel grip loosening!" Isaac shouted as he reloaded his gun and rained fire at the yeti's arms. Komi nods and did the same thing. After a couple of minutes, the yeti let go and retreated. All of them gasp for air. "Thank...you," Isaac said between his pants.
"Anytime," Will said as he gets up with the others.
Vampirella sends a jab at the yeti's cheek. The yeti growls in pain and was about to retaliate, but Vampirella follows up with a 1, 2, and 3. The hits connected to the yeti's body and the yeti fell to the ground, unconscious. Vampirella narrowly leaped away from a blow from another yeti. The yeti roars and run to Vampirella and sends a barrage of slashes at Vampirella. Vampirella either dodge or block the attacks from the yeti. "That the best you can do?" Vampirella asked, her face plastered with a confident smile. Seeing that it is being taunted, the yeti growls and attacks faster. After a while, Vampirella saw an opening. 'Just what I wanted,' Vampirella thought as she blocked an attack and with her free arm, she a mean uppercut to the yeti's jaw. The yeti is knocked out cold.
"Alright, you wanted some of this, you got it!" Popeye said as he grabs one of the yetis and use it as a weapon. The other yetis backed away as it didn't what to hurt its ally. "Don't be scared now!" Popeye swings the yeti against another yeti. The yeti is sent flying out of the train. The other yetis growled and charged at Popeye. Popeye laughs and swings the yeti wildly. Popeye quickly puts the yetis out of commission and Popeye throws the yeti he currently holding out of the train.
"Alright, that should be the last of them," Belladonna said with a relieved sigh.
"Yeah, it is," Isaac said, looking out of the window and saw the yetis are trying to catch the train, but the train is too fast. "Any idea on how that many yetis manage to get on this planet?"
Popeye shrugs. "Beats me,"
"It is a little fishy," Will said, stroking his chin. "All the times I've been here. I have never seen any yeti here."
"I mean it is a big planet," Ben said. "Maybe they have never been to this side of the planet."
"I don't know about that one," Vampirella said. "Throughout this planet's history, no one has even reported a yeti sighting on this planet."
"Strange things are starting to happen all over the Omega Omnisphere," Belladonna said as she sits down.
Komi nods in agreement.
"Well, we need to the Meta Troopers about this," Will said. "Because I have a couple of people in my mind that would love this piece of information."
"Hopefully we can get to the bottom of this," Issac sighed, his back sliding against the wall. "However, I doubt we will be able to given how much is on our plate."
"You're right about that," Vampirella said.
Jay-Jay and Farasha are sitting down.
"Whew, we manage to lose them," Farasha said with a yawn.
"That we did," Jay-Jay said with a calm smile. "Now, all of you can rest."
Farasha furrowed her brow at Him. "What about You? You fight as hard as we did,"
"I don't need sleep to live," Jay-Jay said with a dismissive wave. "Sleep if you need to, I keep watch."
"That's nice of You, but I can stay up," Farasha told Him. "Besides, I want to get to know You. You are very different from Joseph's other contacts."
"Ask away. I'm all ears," Jay-Jay said as He leaned forward.
"Where did You come from?"
"I come from nothing. I always existed and I will continue to do so,"
Farasha is puzzled by this but decided to ignore it for now. "Okay. What are You and Joseph's history?"
"I met him when he was captured by the Sapphire Devils. I defeated them and return him to one of his kingdoms. Once he heard of what I did, he wanted to to meet Me and we have been working together ever since,"
"I see," Farasha tries to hide the disappointment in her voice, but failed. "I'm sorry, it's just that I expected a more exciting tale of how You and Joseph meet."
"It's fine. I know our story is mundane compared to how he met his other contacts. Next question,"
Farasha smiled. "Alright, what is Your family life like then?"
"You wouldn't believe the number of kids I have and it's complicated, to put it lightly,"
'Vague, but interesting,' Farasha thought before: "I see. How do You feel about us so far?"
"Y'all are an excellent team. I can feel the camaraderie y'all have with each other,"
"Thank You. Yeah, I like to think we are an excellent team. However, just a heads up. Joseph and Samin don't get along with each other,"
"I figured that. The two do have personalities that differ so much from each other,"
Farasha nods in agreement. "True. Not only that, but they both have radically different ways on how to run this team causing them to have arguments every day. I swear they act like an old married couple. Don't get the wrong idea, both of them have proven to be excellent leaders. I admit both of them do have major flaws. Samin can go too far at times and is too obedient to the higher-ups while Joseph is very secretive and is a hot-head. We just them to put aside their differences and work together. Both of them can achieve great things together, but they are too blind by their egos to see it,"
"I understand," Jay-Jay said in a soft tone.
"Anyway, that was a little bit about us. I hope we don't cause to quit on us as I would hate to see You go,"
Jay-Jay flashed her a grin. "Don't worry, Farasha. I have been on worst teams than this,"
"I don't doubt that, especially with the company that Joseph keeps. What drives You to this lifestyle?"
"Well, I fight for those that can't defend themselves and to spread goodness across existence. You?"
"The same reasons as You. Although, I do have a few selfish reasons for choosing this lifestyle,"
"Lay it on me,"
"Well, I wanted to prove that I am more than my gender so I decided to learn to fight and prove my father wrong. At first, my father was against it and demanded to stop learning, I didn't budge. After hours of arguing, he finally relented and let me continue to train. I knew he was hoping that training would be harsh for me to continue, but I preserve and I prove to be a prodigy. Not only that, but I also prove to be an excellent leader. Now...well, let's just say I never expected my life to come to this. I mean I was used to fighting dragons, goblins, orcs, ogres, trolls, and elves, but fighting gods, vampires, Saiyans, werewolves, phoenixes, zombies, angels, demons, and other species is a whole new level. That not even mentioning finding out there is a whole Omega Omnisphere is out there. It's all so scary, but..." Farasha's gaze shifted to her group who are sitting while cracking jokes and laughing. "...I'm not alone in this and I have the Meta Troopers to count on as they won't abandon me." Farasha realized she has gotten way off topic. "S-sorry, Jay-Jay. I was off-topic."
"It's fine, Farasha," Jay-Jay softly said. "It happens. Besides, it's always nice to get to know your teammates."
Farasha smiles. "Right, Jay-Jay. I'm looking forward to working with You more,"
Jay-Jay nods. "Likewise,"
Farasha yawns and her eyes start to get heavy. "Man, that fight took all the energy out of me,"
"You can go ahead and take a nap. I can take the watch from here," Jay-Jay offered.
Farasha was about to retort, but she remember that Jay-Jay didn't need sleep to operate. "Alright, thanks Jay-Jay,"
"Anytime," Jay-Jay smiled.
Farasha got comfortable in the chair and fall fast to sleep.
'Well, that was a mission,' Jay-Jay thought as He looked straight ahead. 'The Meta Troopers...this should be an experience. Joseph and Samin don't get along and Joseph is plotting as always. I need to keep watch on those two, the rest of the Meta Troopers work well together and they have no problem with each other. It's those two that will break the team. I need to make sure that their feud won't go too far. I know how much hothead Joseph is and Samin entertain Joseph too much.'
After all that chaos, the train ride was quiet.
8 hours and 30 minutes later.
The train stopped as they made it to their spaceship.
Jay-Jay stands from His seat and shakes Farasha to wake her up.
Farasha quickly shot up and put her hand on the hilt of her sword. "What is it?!"
"Whoa, relax," Jay-Jay said. "We made it to our destination."
Farasha lowered her hand and sighed. "Sorry about that. Force of habit,"
"I understand that," Jay-Jay said.
The two exited the locomotive and saw that the others are getting up and exiting the train. Jay-Jay and Farasha caught up with the group.
They entered the spaceship and sit on their respective seats.
Popeye started the ship and take off.
"Well, that was quite the mission," Belladonna said, happy that the mission is over.
"You're telling me," Will said. "I have never seen so many hairy things in one spot. It's kind of scary really."
Komi giggles at Will's joke.
Vampirella rolls her eyes. "Of course, you say that," Vampirella looks at Jay-Jay. "I have to say I'm impressed. You have not missed a single shot."
"Yeah, I have to say Joseph was right to recommend You," Isaac said. "I even say You are better than the best sharpshooter on our team."
"He is not crazy as Joseph's other contacts!" Ben loudly said, relieved that Jay-Jay isn't like Joseph's other allies. "I don't what kind of places Joseph has been, but he needs to stop going to those places as the people he is friends with are very bad news and are insane!"
"Right, Ben. I admit, they are competent at their jobs, but they are too ruthless for our tastes," Belladonna sighed before looking at God. "Which is why I'm surprised that You and Joseph are friends."
"That is right, Bella," Isaac agreed. "You're a breath of fresh air, Jay-Jay."
"Thanks, guys, but all of you did excellent on this mission too," Jay-Jay praised them. "And Joseph runs an excellent team."
Vampirella smiles. "Thanks, Jay-Jay. We tried our hardest to be the best team we can be,"
"Which is hard given how many of us are in the Meta Troopers," Will said as he scratches his head.
"Yeah, I'm surprised we are still a team," Ben said. "I mean we are only run by two leaders and those two niggas don't get along. I thought we will be in the Civil War by now."
Komi gives Ben a shocked expression.
"Oh don't give me that, Komi. I mean think about it with a team as big as ours, someone is bound to fucking it up," Ben explained.
"That may be correct, Ben, but only Samin and Joseph are being the huge problems," Belladonna argued. "The rest of us get along fine."
"Yeah, Bella has a point. I mean I have no problem with anyone on the Meta Troopers and no one has a problem with me. The only thing I have a problem with is Joseph and Samin's egos," Will said. "I mean I know have an ego, but it's not bad as those two."
"The only thing we can do is hope that one day they put aside their differences and learn to cooperate with each other," Isaac said. "We tried everything to force them to get along. However, that only makes things worse as the two can't stop insulting each other for 5 minutes."
"Yeah, Farasha told Me this," Jay-Jay said with a gentle smile.
"Good, we can't have You running off after the first day on the base," Ben joked. "That would look bad on us."
"Well, all of you don't have to worry about that," Jay-Jay said as He crosses His arms. "I have been in plenty of dysfunctional teams."
Belladonna smiles. "Good,"
"Well besides all that, I think You're gonna love being on the team with us," Will grinned. "There is always something going on and there is so many of us that You will see new people every day."
Komi nods agreement and flashed Jay-Jay a warm smile.
"Don't the size of our team intimidate You," Isaac said. "Most of us are good people trying to make it through the day. Although we do have a few assholes."
"Oh, every team gonna have those. Especially one that is huge as ours," Ben said. "Besides, I wouldn't worry about Him. He is a friend of Joseph so I'm pretty sure He is used to some crazy shit."
"Oh, I am," Jay-Jay said, thinking about all the crazy and bizarre situations He has been in throughout His existence.
"There is nothing wrong with giving Him head ups," Belladonna said. "Welcome aboard, Jay-Jay, I hope You can make some fond memories of this team."
6 hours later.
Samin is sitting on a chair in the hangar. Waiting for Farasha's group to get back.
'Thank God, I manage to finish the paperwork for the higher-ups,' Samin thought as a relieved sigh escape his lips. 'I don't have to worry about my ass getting chewed out by them. Life is going great. We got our comrades back, the Meta Troopers are progressing better than ever, and most of important all, the paperwork is finished.' Samin lightly chuckles to himself. 'It funny, I never thought I would come out of retirement again. To lead a team again no less. However, I don't regret it as I met so many amazing people and I found some new friends. I won't lose my team again. I will make sure that they are prepare for anything this time.'
Samin breaks out of his thoughts when he hears a spaceship descending to the ground.
"Huh, that was quicker than I expected," Samin said as he looked at his watch.
The spaceship lands and the doors open.
"Ah, home sweet home," Will said as he stretches.
"Well, that wasn't too bad," Vampirella said with a small smile. "I expected the mission to take longer."
"Well, we are going out for drinks tonight!" Ben shouted.
"As long you are paying," Farasha smiled, getting a chuckle out of everyone.
"Welcome back," Samin greeted them, catching everyone's attention. "How was the mission?"
"It went well, boss," Farasha said, quickly changing her demeanor into a serious one and straightening up. "The superweapons are taken care of."
"Good," Samin said before his gaze shifted to Jay-Jay. "How was He on the mission?"
"He is an excellent sharpshooter sir," Will answered. "Not only that, but He is way different from Joseph's other contacts."
'I knew I chose wisely,' Samin thought as a small smile of pride crept on his face. 'However, that was only a test. Let see if He really different from Joseph's other friends.'
"However, that was one thing concerning about the mission," Belladonna told Samin.
Samin looked over at her. "Lay it on me,"
"We were attacked by yetis," Isaac said. "We don't know where they come from, but I had a bad feeling about this."
"Yetis?" Samin questioned as he stroked his chin. "Eria was not filled with yetis last time I checked. We need to investigate later. All of you are dismissed except You, Jay-Jay, me and You need to have a talk."
The group recognizes that tone and is worried about Jay-Jay as Samin only uses that tone when they are in trouble.
Popeye was about to speak up, but Jay-Jay just give them a look that tell to go.
The group looked at each other before reluctantly leaving Jay-Jay and Samin alone.
"I have to say, You made quite the impression on some of the Meta Troopers," Samin said, circling around Jay-Jay.
"Thank you," Jay-Jay thanked Samin.
"However, I don't trust You," Samin said, his voice laced with venom. "I know what kind of people Joseph works with and they aren't pretty. Don't think that You leave a few good impressions that make You innocent."
"Got it," Jay-Jay said, not threatened by Samin.
Samin is a little taken aback by this, but he manages to regain his composure. "Oh? Not gonna bother to defend Yourself?"
"Talking won't do any good," Jay-Jay said as He fold His arms.
Samin snickers at that. "Well, can't argue with You there,"
"However, I will say this, you and Joseph need to get over this petty rivalry," Jay-Jay said.
Samin is surprised at Jay-Jay's statement. "Trust me, I try, but he just continues to brush me off,"
"I understand that, but ask yourself...are you any better?" Jay-Jay asked.
Samin was about to retort, but he stopped. He thought about the question. Was he any better? Sure, he likes to think of himself as a mature leader, but he remembers the low-hanging fruits he took at Joseph. That is when he realizes he wasn't any better than Joseph throughout this whole ordeal. Every time Joseph insulted him, he sends one right back. Every time Joseph argued, he argued back. He wanted to be a better man throughout all that, but God, Joseph knows how to get under his skin. Samin rubs the back of his head frustrated that the feud come this far as he is making bold accusations about Jay-Jay just because He is friends with Joseph.
"Ugh, as much I hate to admit...You're right," Samin said, looking at God with an apologetic look. "I'm sorry about that, I'm afraid you didn't catch me at my best."
"It's fine," Jay-Jay said while flashing Him a gentle smile. "I know how bad that feuds can get."
"Well, I guess You ain't all bad," Samin said as his expression turned serious. "However, I still keeping my eye on you,"
"I know," Jay-Jay said. "I talk to you later, I need to speak with Joseph."
"Alright then," Samin said as he walked somewhere. Somewhere that is quiet and away to reflect on how he has been to Joseph.
Joseph's office.
Joseph just finished the last of the paperwork.
"Whew, I'm finally done," Joseph said as he stands from his chair. "I don't have to worry about any more paperwork until a week from now because I'm going on vacation." Joseph grabs his coat and heads towards the door.
Before he can put his hand on the knob, the door opens.
"Hello, Joseph," Jay-Jay greeted with a calm smile. "Did I catch you at a bad time?"
"Not really," Joseph smiled. "I have a whole week to enjoy myself so I'm not that much in a rush. Besides, I have been meaning to catch up with You. Take a seat." Joseph gestured to the chair.
Jay-Jay sat down and got comfortable in the chair.
Joseph puts his coat up and sat across from Jay-Jay. "How it's been going, my nigga?"
"Same old same old," Jay-Jay answered. "Traveling to different places and helping people out as always."
Joseph nods. "Good good. How the kids doing?"
"Most of them are fine, but some of them are going through tough times. I'm helping them through it out though."
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that,"
"Don't be. It up to Me to help through life,"
"Yeah, You're right. Anyway, You enjoying the Meta Troopers?"
"I am! They have been nothing but lovely to Me,"
"Ah, that's good to hear. Most of them are good people. Although, we do have some that have their screws loose. The only one that sucks is Samin bitch-ass. That motherfucker has a stick so far up in his ass that you can see from space,"
"Are you sure about that, Joseph? He is a nice man. He is just strict and a hard-ass,"
Joseph's smile dropped once he heard Jay-Jay say that. "Not You too," Joseph groans. "Of course, people wanna be difficult once I start plotting." He muttered the last part, but Jay-Jay is able to hear thanks through His absolute hearing.
"What are you planning now?"
Joseph looks at Jay-Jay with a surprised look before sighing. "I forget those senses of Yours. Well, I wanted to talk to You about this plan. I'm running a mutiny against Samin and so far, I have only one member in this plan. I was hoping to recruit You in it as I know I only need You to turn the tides into my favor. However, it seems that backfired as You liked Samin,"
Jay-Jay folded His arms. "I see...you do know that this could horribly backfire on you. right?"
Joseph turns to face Him. "I know how. I went through every possible scenario in my head, but the risk is worth it,"
"Are you sure? Because you wouldn't go through with this if you do,"
Joseph narrowed his eyes at God. "Look, I do. Don't lecture me like I'm a damn child!"
"I'm just trying to help you," Jay-Jay said, not phrased by Joseph's anger. "This feud has been nothing but petty and childish. You two are leaders of a team and they need their leaders to cooperate. Because the threats that are coming our way won't show us any mercy and are nothing to laugh about. The Omega Omnisphere needs a united team that will protect them. Feuding with your fellow leader will only make the situation. I talk to Samin and he is willing to squash this."
Joseph flares in anger as he clenches his hands and he raised his fist and was to about launched it Jay-Jay. He stopped, however. Jay-Jay just put His hands on His hip and shakes His head in disappointment. Joseph lowered his fist and turn away from Jay-Jay. He couldn't bring himself to fight Jay-Jay as he has too much respect for Him. That and he knows that he will get his ass whipped if it comes to a fight. "It's best for You to leave, Jayvon,"
Jay-Jay quietly left.
Leaving Joseph alone to reflect on what he did.
Joseph slumps to his chair. His face flushed with anger. This feud has been nothing, but childish and petty? He doesn't know how to feel about that statement. He and Samin have different ideas on how to lead the team. Samin just the Meta Troopers to be perfect soldiers that follow his every command while Joseph wants them to have free will on their own. Yes, he admits he wants them to be the best warriors they can be and them to be soldiers in his kingdom, but he only wants to protect his people and make sure a war like 'The War of the Titans' will never happen again.
'Damn,' Joseph thought as he lit up a joint. 'Nothing ever goes right in my life.'
The next day, Dago City, 12:45 P.M.
"Come again, handsome~," An older said with a wink.
Jay-Jay just smiles at her and grabs the bag and left the store. He has been shopping all morning, getting gifts for everyone. He knows that the Meta Troopers are planning a welcome party for Him so this is the least He can do for them.
"There You are!" A voice called out to Him, He turns around and saw Kagawa Emiri running towards Him. "God, You're hard to keep up with."
"I get that a lot," Jay-Jay said with a shrug.
"Anyway, we haven't been properly introduced," Emiri said as she hold her hand out and she flashed Jay-Jay a warm smile. "I'm Kagawa Emiri, but most people called me Emiri."
Jay-Jay shakes her hand. "My name is Jayvon Jayson. Nice to meet you,"
Emiri takes a good look at Jay-Jay and she likes what she sees. "I have to say, they say You were a stud, but that downplaying it. Are You single?"
"I am, but I have no interest in dating," Jay-Jay shot that down, knowing where she was going with this.
Emiri frowns at this. "Damn. Well at least I shot my shot," She notices the bags in Jay-Jay's hands. "What with the bags?"
"Oh, these are gifts for the Meta Troopers. I figured I can do something nice for them,"
Emiri lightly smiles at this. "Aw, You're so sweet. Anyway, since You are a new recruit, I was hoping we can hang out for a while and get to know each other,"
"I'm down for it,"
Emiri grins and grabs Jay-Jay's arm and takes Him to the park.
Golden Plaza.
The two made it to the Golden Plaza and they begin to stroll around the park.
Emiri begins to hum a tune while Jay-Jay admires the park.
The dandelions are blooming and the sun is out with clear skies.
"Ah, this is lovely," Emiri said with a wide smile. "This place is calming."
"That it is," Jay-Jay agreed.
"So tell me Jay-Jay, why do You join us?" Emiri asked, her gaze shifted to God. "I mean from what I heard, Joseph describes You as someone who works alone and has Your own goals."
"Well, the Meta Troopers are a very special team," Jay-Jay started to explain, Emiri furrowed her brow at this, what He does mean by that? Before she could ponder further, Jay-Jay continue. "I heard of the Meta Troopers' feats and I have to say...they are impressive for a team that is just started out. However, there is something that holds y'all back and those are your leaders."
Emiri is shocked by this. To be fair, yes, her leaders don't have the best relationship with each other, but that doesn't mean it affects her team that much, right? "You're joking, right?"
Jay-Jay shakes His head. "I wish, but it's true. I know plenty of teams that have disbanded because two leaders don't get along and enter a power struggle. I talk to both of them yesterday. Samin was willing to reflect on his actions while Joseph is being stubborn and won't see the error of his ways."
Emiri has heard that Jay-Jay confronted both Samin and Joseph from Quentin as he eavesdrop on both conversations...which she doesn't know how that is possible because Joseph's office and the hangar are pretty far from each other. Emiri is surprised and impressed that the newbie has the balls to confront both of them. I mean sure, Joseph does regard Jay-Jay as the finest fighter he ever saw, but Jay-Jay is pretty small compared to the both of them. Then again, she could see why Jay-Jay confronted Samin as he is reasonable and willing to listen while Joseph is hot-headed and prideful.
"Ah, I see," Emiri said, still processing the situation. "You really believe our leaders is our biggest problems?"
"They are, given how our teammates talk about it," Jay-Jay answered with a nod.
"I see. I appreciate You for doing this, but I'm afraid it won't work," Emiri sighed. "Trust me, we tried everything to make those two get along, but it always backfired. I don't want to admit it, but it does hinder us a little bit." Emiri looks at the dandelions to calm herself. "It makes us frustrated that two won't put aside their differences. There's nothing we can do but hope that those two will come to their senses. I'm sorry, Jay-Jay. We were supposed be getting to know each other...not talking about our leaders and their problems."
"It's fine," Jay-Jay said. "You're frustrated with our leaders. All of us are. The only thing we can do is try our best."
Emiri lightly smiles. "You're right," Emiri looks at Jay-Jay. "I just don't want us to disband. I made many friends on this team and I would hurt to lose them."
"I make sure that won't happen," Jay-Jay said. "Whatever happens, I'm with y'all every step of the way. I will make sure the Meta Troopers prosper and are taken care of. You have My word."
Emiri hears the conviction in Jay-Jay's voice and she sees why Joseph holds Him in such high regard. "Alright, I'm holding You to it. Hopefully, we can hang out more as I'm starting to like You,"
"I like you too, Emiri," Jay-Jay smiled.
"Moving on," Emiri said as the two resumed their stroll. "So what exactly are You are? You have some unique eyes and those sharp teeth of Yours is making me think You're a vampire or a werewolf. That's not even mentioning the monkey tail."
"I'm a part of every species in all of existence and non-existence," God answered like it was normal.
Emiri's eyes widen at this. Now, she has seen and heard many things in such a short time frame, but meeting someone who is an all-species hybrid...is a different thing entirely. 'He could be lying,' Emiri thought as she eyed Jay-Jay. 'Then again, it wouldn't be too far-fetched. I used to think that many things were nothing but myths and legends. Now, I know better. I thought Joseph would have told us that Jay-Jay is an all-species hybrid. Then again, he probably doesn't know it either.'
"Wow, that's something," Emiri said with awe in her voice. "I'm sure Your family doesn't discriminate at all."
"I would like to say that, but that couldn't be further from the truth," Jay-Jay said with a slight bitterness in His tone.
Emiri notice the bitterness and decided to leave it alone. "Well, what are Your goals in life? Joseph never told us that,"
"To achieve peace and harmony throughout all of existence, fulfill My promises, and spread everything good everywhere I go," He answered, genuinely meaning that. "What about you, Emiri?"
'He has a noble heart,' Emiri thought with a smile before answering his question: "Me? I am hoping to finish college and make sure the omega omnisphere."
"Well, I'm rooting for you," Jay-Jay smiled.
Emiri is liking Jay-Jay so far and can see why He made a good impression on the others. She knows it gonna be more interesting on the base with Jay-Jay here. Her phone buzzes. Emiri quickly took her phone out of her pocket and turn it on. It was a text from Farasha and the text reads:
Farasha: How it's going?
Emiri quickly typed and send her message
Emiri: It's going well! I can see why all of you like Him. Is the party almost done?
Emiri waited for Farasha to text back. After a couple of seconds, Farasha's text appeared.
Farasha: Told you He likable. The party would have been done an hour ago, but we have some issues.
Emiri furrowed her brow at this and typed out:
Emiri: What happened?
Farasha: Well, the delivery guy for the cake was harassing me and Will took offense at that and he punched him. Causing the delivery guy to drop the cake. I had to drive across town for another cake and I got stuck in traffic. But don't worry, everything for the party is set. I just need you to keep Jay-Jay longer, can you do that?
Emiri: Sure! More fun for me. Besides, I'm curious to see if He has any amusing stories about Joseph.
Farasha: Of course you are. Thank you, Emiri. I see you in a little while.
Emiri: Okay, take care!
Emiri put her phone back in her pocket and looked toward Jay-Jay.
"So I heard that the new amusement park is fun! Wanna try it out?" Emiri asked with a smile.
Jay-Jay nods. "Sure, sounds fun,"
Emiri grabs Jay-Jay's arm and leads Him to the amusement park.
Meta Troopers' base, lounge.
Joseph is on the second floor, looking over the party. He was put in charge since he know how to throw a party and knew how to keep the Meta Troopers in check. Currently, he is deep in thought.
He has been thinking about what Jay-Jay told him last night. Is his and Samin's relationship really affecting the Meta Troopers? He likes to believe it doesn't, but Jay-Jay doesn't lie. He especially wouldn't lie about this. Maybe he does need to do something about his relationship with Samin. He is trying to get the Meta Troopers on his side and being vindictive is not helping him if the Meta Troopers are starting to view him negatively.
"There you are," Samin said behind Joseph.
Joseph's eyes widen at this and turn his body to face Samin. "What are you doing here?!"
"To join the party, dumbass," Samin flatly said.
Joseph was about to retort but decided it best to let it slide. He turns back around to observe the party.
Samin walked over to him and stopped at the railing.
"Let me guess, Jay-Jay talked to you too?" Samin asked.
Joseph just snarled at him.
"I take that as a yes," Samin said, he takes out a cigar and lit it. "You know, I can see why you like Him. He has the guts to confront us like that."
"Yeah, He always been like that," Joseph said, he reminisces the times that Jay-Jay stood up to a powerful tyrant or dictator. "He has no fear of anyone or anything, He always stood up for the weak and defenseless, no matter who the nigga is."
Samin nods at this. "I admit, I was wrong about Him," This surprises Joseph as he looked at Samin like he just smokes something that has you high-high. "One of your contacts turn out to be a great recruit. I guess there is a first time for everything. As much I hate to admit it, but I'm glad you called Him, Joseph."
A smug grin formed on Joseph's face. "Thanks, Samin,"
"However, I'm still having my eye on Him," Once Samin said that Joseph's grin dropped from his face.
"Excuse me?" Joseph said, looking at Samin with a confused expression.
Samin takes a drag of his cigar. "What? He is with you and there is no telling what you two are planning. You see, you like to think that you are slick Joseph, but I knew you have been planning to overthrow me from day one. I heard stories about you and how you always plan to take out the competition. Well, two can play that game. I might not be a political and business genius like you, but I know my way around the military and music."
"You want a challenge?" Joseph said as he lightly snickers. "Then I give you a challenge, bitch." The two stare each other down.
The two broke eye contact once when they heard the doors open. Their gaze shifted to the doors and saw Farasha quickly heading towards the door with a huge ass cake in her hands.
"Excuse me, coming through!" Farasha shouted as she avoid all the people in her way. She immediately put the cake on the table and a sigh of relief escape from her lips.
"Jesus, what took you so long?" Johnny asked while sipping his beer.
"I got stuck in traffic," Farasha answered. "Are you supposed to be cutting on the drinking? Give me that." The warrior princess snatched the beer from Johnny's hands.
"Hey! I was drinking that!" Johnny shouted, surprised by Farasha's boldness.
"She's right dad," Robby said causing Johnny to look at him. "You did promise that you will cut back."
Johnny tried to come back with an argument, but couldn't as he did promise Robby to cut back on the alcohol.
"Well, you sure show him," Ren said. "Now, can we get this party started?"
"Just a minute," Farasha said as she pulled out her phone. "I need to Emiri that the party is ready."
With Jay-Jay and Emiri.
Emiri and Jay-Jay are sitting on a bench while Emiri is eating fried Oreos and funnel cake while Jay-Jay is telling one of His infinite tales.
The two had a fun day at the park, they got their faces painted, and try out many rides, Jay-Jay won Emiri many stuffed animals with His supreme skills at the carnival games.
"So that's why Joseph doesn't eat chicken anymore," Emiri said, munching on her fried Oreos.
Jay-Jay nods. "Yeah, the Chick organization is always making sure that Joseph is on his best behavior,"
Emiri giggles. "Man, I know that Joseph made many enemies during his life, but to hear that he has made with an organization of chickens is hilarious!" Emiri begins to have a burst of full-blown laughter. After a couple of seconds, she calms down and wipes the tears from her eyes. "Oh, I have a fun day with You, Jay-Jay. We should do this again sometime."
"Sure, I enjoy your company, Emiri," Jay-Jay smiled.
Emiri grins. She feels her phone buzzes. She takes her phone out and saw Farasha's text.
Farasha: Alright, I have the cake now! Bring Him here for His party.
'This must be some pretty good cake,' Emiri thought before typing:
Emiri: Good.
Farasha: How was He? Was He good to you?
Emiri: He's an absolute sweetheart. You wouldn't believe how many stuffed animals He has gotten me and the kids that wanted them. There's no need to be suspicious of Him, Fara. He seems to have a kind heart.
Farasha: Good, just making sure. Though I'm pretty He is a good man as He doesn't seem to have any ulterior motives for joining us.
Emiri: Thanks for looking out for me, but I can handle myself. Anyway, Jay-Jay and I should be on our way. He's gonna love the surprise party we have for Him.
Farasha: I know that Emiri, but comrades should always look out for each other. If they can handle themselves or not. That aside, okay Emiri, be safe.
Emiri: Take care.
Emiri turns her phone off and puts it back in her pocket.
"Wanna head back to base, Jay-Jay?" Emiri asked. "I had my fun for the day and I have gotten to know You well."
"Sure," Jay-Jay said.
Emiri smiles and the two get up from their seats and grab the stuffed toys and head back to the base.
'Ah, what's a fun day,' Emiri thought with a smile. 'I can't remember the last time my day wasn't filled with work. God, I never would have imagined my life would come to this. I mean joining the military never crossed my mind yet here I am. However, the pay is more than excellent so I can't complain really.' Emiri looked toward Jay-Jay. 'He is an interesting Man so far, but something tells He the one to really changed our lives and I don't know if it for the better or for the worse. All I could do is to keep watch on Him.'
15 minutes later.
The two made it back to base.
"Well, I had a fun day," Emiri smiled. "Let's do this sometime again."
"Likewise," Jay-Jay grinned.
Emiri nods and opens the door.
