The rest of the day seemed to fly by as did the rest of the week.
Come Saturday, the girls and I were ready to head to Hogsmeade. Bellatrix had been sleeping in my room with me all week long, I felt better knowing she was there with me.
All four of us got up early, and went to have a quick breakfast before heading down to Hogsmeade.
I smirked at Tom as I left, batting my lashes at him. He clearly wasn't alright with what I was wearing. Not that it mattered, I would be wearing it whether or not he liked it.
My dress had a slit that reached mid thigh, it was a royal blue color with a silver belt, it had long sleeves and fit like a glove. It didn't help that my boots could be seen and were knee length and that my thick gray socks also hit my thigh.
We were having butterbeer at the Hogshead, Bellatrix lowly informing them of our new thought out plan. I, of course, now had to use Occlumency to shield their minds away from prying ones. It didn't matter as long as we could save Tom along with entire wizarding, along with muggle world in extent.
"So what do you girls think? Are you in? If you are, we have to be extra careful." Bella asked after we explained the plan to them.
"I'm in. If the prophecy you got is actually true, then that means we could all be in true danger. I don't want my future children living in a world like that." Cissy said, a worried expression on her face.
"So am I." Dromeda said, agreeing with Cissy.
"Then you have to promise me that you will trust everything I say. No matter how dangerous it can be for me." I said, looking at all three of them in the eyes.
"A-aren't you going to tell any of the boys?" Cissy asked, carefully.
I was shaking my head as soon as she started the sentence, already knowing where she was headed. I sighed, downing the last part of my butterbeer.
"No, I can't. At least not yet. When the right time comes, Bella, I am going to need all three of you." I said, making eye contact.
She nodded her head quickly, her black curls bouncing with the movement.
"Good then. Starting tomorrow we shall meet somewhere. We need to practice our dueling skills. If I know Tom, and I do, he is going to want to do the same, our skill must surpass his." I stressed.
"Dromeda, when are you going to say yes to the Tonks boy? He's been asking you out since your fourth year and our third year." I said, changing the subject into a less tense one.
She gaped at me surprised, eyes wide as she opened her mouth to answer but was deemed speechless. She resembled a fish out of water.
"Don't worry, if your blood family turns their back on you, you now have me. I won't do that." I promised, smiling at her.
She nodded , smiling at me in response.
We shopped until almost an hour before six. Cissy, Dromeda, and Bella made me buy a couple of dresses, some nice underwear, and a pair of heels that looked awesome. We were laughing all the way back at some comments that Bellatrix made.
We had just walked into the Slytherin common room when Tom and a group walked out with their cloaks on.
"I see you made it back on time." He noted as he stared at my outfit, a slight scowl on his lips.
"Yes, we did. We shall go meet you once we put everything away." I replied walking towards the girls' dormitories.
I got to my room waved my wand and made everything go where it belonged. Then I proceeded to change into my black and green long-sleeved dress; it had a slit to my thigh, which revealed my black lace stockings and lace garter belt.
Releasing my hair from the bun and braid I had earlier, it fell down my back in smooth waves, pinning a black rose to the right side of my head. To finish the outfit, my emerald choker and then put on my black, thick heeled boots with a zipper on the side.
Slipping on my cloak so no one saw the outfit I was wearing until I reached meeting spot. I walked slowly towards the forest, pulling up my hood as I entered the darkness of the forest. I knew the direction the clearing was in, so I slowly walked towards it, smiling as I felt everyone's emotions.
Tom had yet to arrive, as I reached the clearing. The group stood scattered around the clearing half-heartedly. I smiled when I pulled back the hood, revealing my face, and watched everyone's jaw hit the floor.
"Does anybody know why we are all here?" I asked, turning to watch the lake as the moon light glimmered from it.
"No, my lady. But I have a feeling that it is because of the disrespect you've been shown this past week." Rod said, as Bellatrix nodded in agreement.
I grimaced turning towards the lake, watching the lake instead of the people around me. I could sense Tom's presence as he neared where we stood. I could feel the atmosphere tense as he walked into the clearing, slipping his hood off to reveal his face, a deep scowl placed on his handsome face.
"I am sure you are all wondering why I asked you all here." Tom began as the group began to form a loose circle around him.
I didn't move from where I stood, enticed by the lake's glimmering water.
"Well, the reason is," He continued, pausing as he noted that I hadn't moved from my place. "Your disrespect towards Anna, your Lady of Darkness. Three things have happened to her, and you all have failed to protect her. A few of you, have even gone as far as to disrespect her in front of me." He said, shaking his head, in fake disappointment.
"That is like questioning, and disrespecting me." He said, as I turned around to look him in the eye.
His hard expression, and gleaming eyes made me smirk.
He then tilted his head to one side, silently asking me to join his side. I internally sighed as I walked towards him, letting my cloak open with the soft, cool breeze that was blowing around us. His eyes scanned me from head to toe, as if trying to see what else I was wearing
When I reached his side, his hand automatically clasped around mine. Automatically, connecting us telepathically and giving me a taste of his feelings.
"Her safety shouldn't be at risk because of your prejudices." He ground out, his other hand twitching.
"Failing to protect her, is like failing to protect me, though I may not need protection, she might. I won't allow these mistakes to be made. Those of you who caused the problems, have already been dealt with and suffered the consequences. Consider it a warning, to all of you. Next time all of you shall suffer." He promised, looking around the group.
"Yes, my Lord." They all said in unison.
"Leave." He ordered, almost scoffing after they all disappeared into the darkness of the woods.
As I watched them all, their feelings varying from worry to fear, I also read Tom's mind, one word that popped out was horcrux. I felt my anger rise, as I turned to look at him.
'He didn't, he wouldn't.' I thought, shaking my head, snatching my hand away from his, and beginning to pace.
"You—You didn't." I forced the words out of my mouth, as I began to pace.
He raised an eyebrow at me in question.
"You're still trying to make a horcrux?" I ground out, turning my back on him.
"I was just curious as to what it was, I swear, it isn't anything to get worked up about." He said, not meeting my eyes.
'Oh no?' I thought, scoffing in response, and crossing my arms over my chest once more. "Do I look daft, Tom?" I asked, shaking my head at him.
"If it isn't anything to get worked up for, then make a choice right now. Your hunger for power and revenge towards your muggle father, who deserted you...or me." I said, watching as his jaw flexed.
I was met with complete silence, shaking my head at him.
"I believe, I just received an answer to my question then." I replied, before walking away, tears already forming in my eyes, blurring my vision.
I walked quickly back towards the castle, and hurriedly descending the stairs to the dungeons. I quickly muttered the password, and briskly walked to my room, where I proceeded to remove my cloak and set it on the arm chair.
I slipped off my shoes, and undid my dress with shaking hands, quickly pulling on my emerald green nightdress. I got into bed quietly and curled up into a ball, knowing that this was just the beginning of the next few months. I let a few tears slip as I let the hurt and betrayal I felt run its course.
