Tom's PoV:

'This day turned to be a complete disaster...' He thought, as he sat in the armchair, watching the emerald flames dance around in the hearth.

It was as if all of his plans seemed to collapse, before him and that made him angrier than he thought he'd be.

As he sat on the chair his mind couldn't help but wonder to what happened earlier that night. Realizing that in his quest to gain power and become the most powerful sorcerer in the world, he had done the last thing he wanted to do. He'd hurt her.

His blood began to boil as he thought about the events of earlier that night.

"I am sure you are all wondering why I asked you all here." He began as the group began to form a loose circle around him.

Tom noticed that Anna hadn't moved from her place in front of the lake. Something seemed different about her. Her posture was different, something felt off about it.

"Well the reason is" He continued, pausing as he watched Anna again. "Your disrespect towards my girlfriend, your Lady of Darkness, Anna. Three things have happened to her, and you all have failed to protect her. A few of you have gone as far as to disrespect her in front of me." He said, shaking his head, in fake disappointment.

"That is like questioning, and disrespecting me." He said, as Anna turned around to look him in the eye. Her multi colored eyes shining as she looked towards him.

His unreadable expression softened as she smirked at him. He then tilted his head to one side, silently asking her to join his side; as she walked towards him, letting her cloak open with the soft, cool breeze that was blowing. His eyes automatically scanned her from head to toe, taking in her appearance. One that held power to it.

When she reached his side, his hand automatically clasped around hers. Automatically, connecting them telepathically. He enjoyed the feeling of her warm hand in his cool one, it was an weird feeling as he felt her prod his mind, and as he watched her scan everyone in the group, reading their feelings. He smirked as he took in the information before him

"Failing to protect her, is like failing to protect me. I won't allow these mistakes to be made. Those of you who caused the problems, have already suffered the consequences. Consider it a warning to all of you. Next time all of you shall suffer." He said harshly, looking around the group.

Noting that a few of them flinched at his tone, and took a mindless step back as they stared back at him with unreadable expressions. He smirked coldly at their response towards his voice. Almost enjoying it as much as he enjoyed being with Anna

"Yes, my Lord." They answered in unison.

"Leave." He ordered, almost scoffing after they all disappeared into the darkness of the woods.

He felt Anna s body stiffen suddenly in her place next to him.

'He didn't, he wouldn't.' She thought, shaking her head as she snatched her hand away from his, and beginning to pace before him.

"You. You didn't." She growled out.

He raised an eyebrow at her in question. Wondering what could he could've done to upset her.

"You're still trying to make a horcrux?" She snarled, turning her back on him.

"I was just curious as to what it was, I swear it isn't anything to get worked up about." He said, not meeting her penetrating, heated gaze, choosing to stare at the ground instead.

He heard her scoff in response, crossing her arms over her chest once more. "Do I look daft, Tom?" She asked, shaking her head at him.

"If it isn't anything to get worked up for then pick right now. Me or your hunger for power and revenge towards your father." She said, watching as his jaw flexed in response.

She shook her head at him, exasperated with his lack of response. He couldn't tell her why he was looking for the information. It wasn't for him to use, he really was curious as to what it was.

"I guess that's the answer to my question then." She said before walking away turning her back on him as she walked briskly through the woods, leaving him behind.

He felt something pull in the area that his heart was at. He began to feel an excruciating pain begin to pulsate throughout his body as he watched her disappearing form leave his side.

Suddenly the empty feeling he felt until he was eleven came back. Everything seemed to disappear around him, all the feeling in his body seemed to go numb. As he slowly made his way back towards the castle, he felt the anger he hadn't felt in a while replace everything else he had felt in the past five years sit on his chest. Hardening his heart once more.

"M-my Lord?" Dolohov called, as Malfoy and Lestrange stood behind him, looking uncomfortable.

"What do you want now, Dolohov?" He snarled, his eyes never leaving the emerald flame.

"We just s-spoke to Bellatrix, she says something is wrong with our Lady. She isn't responding to our calls, she won't open the door either, even the password she's given her isn't working." He explained.

Tom felt his back stiffen as he turned to look at the faces of the three. They looked sincerely worried for her; something must have happened knowing her, she just wanted to be left alone.

"Are you sure? Maybe she just wishes to be left alone." He replied, unable to stop the scowl that formed on his face.

'She probably would want to be left alone, after what happened earlier.' He thought.

"No, my Lord, Bellatrix has been staying with her, in her room, for the past week. She said that our Lady told her to sleep in her room with her. The door is locked from the inside, we can't open it, my Lord ." Dolohov said., averting his gaze.

Tom stood briskly, and walked towards the girls' dormitories ignoring all the calls for him to go back. Focusing on his destination so the stairs wouldnt turn into a stone slide as he rushed down the corridor of the girls' rooms.

When he reached the door, he saw Bellatrix along with Narcissa and Andromeda, still calling Anna through the door, asking her to open the door.

"What's going on?" He asked Bellatrix.

He watched as her back stiffened, and turned slowly to look at him, her eyes narrowed at him, and her jaw stiffened.

"What. did. you. do. to. her. Riddle?" She growled, clenching her fists in anger.

"Watch your tone, Black." He growled in response, ignoring her as he pulled out his wand.

"Move..." he commanded, but was met with a steely glare from the three Black sisters.

'Damn, intrusive brods.' He thought, scowling at their stance.

He rolled his eyes after a moment before letting out a sigh. "Would you please move out of the way?" He muttered, pushing them out of the way, and walking up to the door. Mumbling a quick spell under his breath before he flicked his wrist. Watching as the door's lock clicked, and the door opened on its own.

Lying motionless on the bed was Anna, he felt his heart stop as stepped closer to her. She was deep under, her breathing had slowed, and her skin was pale and clammy.

"We have to get her to the hospital wing now." He muttered, checking her for a moment before he picked her up and walked out of the room, down towards the common room, and out towards the infirmary on the first floor. He could hear his heart pounding in his ears with each step he took, he didn't know whether it was fear of her state being something serious or the fact that she was only wearing a tightly fitted nightdress that left little to imagination.

He didn't know what was happening with her, but he knew that if something happened to her, he knew it would end him. That's when he realized, that he loved her. What pained him even more was that he had hurt her, and he didn't know if he was going to be able to make it up to her, but he was hell-bent on trying.
