The population of the space colonies reaches 5 million.

The Earth Federation Forces is divided into separate land, sea and air forces.

The colony A0206 is constructed at Lagrange point 5. This colony will later become the home of the fierce and mighty Long clan when they are exiled from Earth by their fearful government.

The Eurasian Federation and the South African Union begin construction of the Habilis mass driver on the shore of Lake Victoria.

The Tsiolkovsky reaches Jupiter and discovers the fossil known as Evidence 01. The world is again thrown into chaos, and FASA orders the Tsiolkovsky to bring back the fossil.

Gundanium Alloy is discovered by the Colonies but the means to create it is held from the earth federation due to their war mongering.
