The ringing in his ears, the flashing lights as his eyes would open and close. The pressing against his chest, his burning forehead, whatever he was lying on was moving. Back and forth, rowing in a motion, as Izuku's hand dripped over the side of the bed.
He could feel someone holding his cold hand, they were warm. Were his hands blue due to the sheer cold that he is feeling? The flashes within his head, caused his body to swing, and he could hear footsteps rushing up close to him.
Yet, the loudest ones were so far away, the banging footsteps that belong to the Demon Lord Ghirahim, the blood of the hero, his blood. Pours over the Triforce of Power, the golden power of the Gods sucked up the blood like a vampire.
Red like a bottle of strong wine, Izuku never notice how red blood was until he saw it for himself.
Izuku could only let out a groan, as the Malice that protected the Triforce of Power began to form a human body. It was weak, only skin and bones, like a rotting mummy corpse. The head turned towards Midoriya, was it looking at him? Those empty dark eyes sockets, the mouth hung open. The jaw opened wide as the bright red eyes have begun to glow at Izuku.
Midoriya couldn't step back, his body stuck against the wall, the hand of Ganon lifted, stretching out towards the Hero. Midoriya's heart beat faster with each second that the hand of the King of Evil would get closer to him.
He is afraid of him.
Izuku, who is meant to be the Hero of Legend, and the holder of the Triforce of Courage, is afraid.
The Triforce of Power beating, acting like the heart for the moving corpse. The hand of Ganon couldn't or wouldn't reach him, Izuku breathing is heavy, as a cold sweat drips from his forehead. There was only Izuku and Ganon, the corpse smiled at him.
It was as if he were mocking him.
Izuku awoke with a shock, the window with the curtains slightly covering them. Looking in the starry night sky, the room was dull and gray with white. The blankets that covered him were thin, the mattress is hard as a rock.
He's in a hospital, his hand pressed against his chest. A large scar cut across his chest, from his left to his right. The Goddess Longsword sat close to his bed, and there was Princess Zelda. Her head lay on his bed. Her body shuddering in the cold hospital.
Wearing his jacket from his school uniform. Izuku gently moved from his bed, trying not to wake Zelda up. He had no idea what the time was, as his legs would wobble, as he stepped towards the bathroom.
Slapping his face with water. Looking at the scar across his chest, the stitches knitted into his skin. Izuku let out a sneeze, right fighting in the rain, of course, he would get a cold. Staying a night at the hospital, he had to wonder if this is the same hospital, that held the doctor who ruined his dreams.
Was that doctor still here? Breathing as his chest pushed out and in, hurting with each breath that Midoriya had taken. He looked at the Goddess Longsword, his mind is made up, lying on the hard bed.
The pillow wasn't even soft, yet his eyes were heavy, sleep overtaking his body. The moonlight shone on his face. The sun glared into his eyes, causing his head to turn, there was yelling in his room.
"You think you are superior to me!"
"I don't think I am because I know I am. You might be a princess, but you're not even the next in line for the throne!"
"How dare you, Izuku and I are destined to get married, he is essentially my husband. Presently, you're nothing more than a homewrecker!"
"You, condescending piece of work. Maybe in that unorthodox mind of yours, besides you denied wanting to be with Izuku,"
"I said that I should be the only one with Izuku!"
His eyes fluttering open, Princess Zelda and Princess Ruto together in the same room, oh that's just great. Midoriya fears that Hylian and Zoras were going to go to war just because of how these two bitter and argue with each other.
"Zelda, Ruto?" Izuku's sleepy tone muttered,
"Izuku" Zelda and Ruto both cried out, rushing to his bedside
"Ah, tell this hussy, that you are mine," Ruto spoke
"Excuse me," Zelda fumed at the Zora Princess
"And she's hard of hearing. It won't be long until you are wrinkled and gray," Ruto let out a huff.
Izuku could only let out a chuckle at the sight of the two of them. Ruto sat closer to him, everything is much noisier now since it was the morning. It was hard to tell, the clock on the wall is broken.
Izuku's eyes were locked on the Blade of The Goddess Longsword, Fi did nothing wrong. He knew that she would never hurt him, but the way how his blade would cut through his skin. Like a hot knife through butter, Midoriya could easily kill someone with a weapon like the Goddess Sword.
How many were working under Ganon's control, and were any of them human? Even if there are some, could Izuku take someone else's life? Even then, that Goddess Longsword, as his eyes were locked on the back of his left hand.
Still no Triforce of Courage. It makes more sense than ever before, ultimately he's nothing but a coward.
The noises downtown, giggling children as they ran around the footpath. A balloon slipped from a young girl's hand, and the little girl with two pigtails started to cry, her eyes widening. The creature in front of her was a being made from green sludge.
Bright white sharp teeth, a liquid-like body, made from sludge, muddy green. Bright yellow eyes locked onto the little girl, she felt like her body couldn't move.
"NEVER FEAR!"
As fast as a bullet, picked up the little girl, and skyrocketed up to the sky. Grabbing the balloon, the little pigtail girl smiled at seeing the large man standing in front of her. The Sludge Villain hissed at the sight, even shaking in fear.
"BECAUSE I AM HERE!"
All Might.
Izuku needed some fresh air, the crowds outside, people muttering about how All Might is in town. Midoriya's ears pointed up at hearing that news, All Might, Izuku hasn't seen his hero in person since he first met Ruto and Medli.
He stood in the back of the hospital, he would rather not be around crowds. His chest felt strange, maybe it was because of those stitches on his body. He sat near the trash, the flies that circle around the gray bins.
The fence is broken, it's a color brown, the paint is getting scratched off. Many people's names were carved into the wood with a knife or a new Quirk. Izuku's hand brushed against the ground, the back of the hospital was where the doctors would test some Quirks.
The torch marks showed that someone with a flame Quirk was here once before. The broken light that flittering on and off shows that someone with a flying Quirk must have crashed into it. The ground had holes, meaning that someone destroyed it, everything told a story.
Then there's him. Without a Quirk. Always three miles behind everyone else. His shoe is brushing against the ground, part of it had turned into sand, he has to wonder what that Quirk did. Could that person turn any non-living thing into the sand, or perhaps they could turn themselves into the sand as well?
Maybe he became a hero or a villain. Anyone who stood here could have become both.
The gates behind Izuku, sludge came out of the gates, and the villain towers over him. Fi's words echo in his head.
'Izuku, this villain is similar to a Chuchu. The threat of him is low,' Fi spoke into his head.
His hand began to shake, the memory of Ghirahim cutting through his skin with his blade. Would Izuku kill this villain if he attacked? If he was like a Chuchu, a monster under Ganon's control, could Ganon control this Sludge Villain?
His mind is overflowing. The Sludge Villain slapped away the Goddess Longsword, it slides across the ground. The Sludge Villain's body began to wrap around Midoriya's body. The liquid enters Izuku's mouth.
It's hard to breathe. His hands began to try to crawl at the sludge to get it out of his mouth and try to breathe again.
"It's okay, kid, I'm just gonna use your body for a bit." The villain began to speak as if he were trying to calm Izuku down.
Izuku's eyes became blurry and dizzy. He could see Ganon staring at him as if he was disappointed with what he is seeing. Someone in his mind is crying at him, is that Midna? Could he really not do anything without Fi? Is he really just a-
"Have no fear, boy,"
That voice shouted out, as the large man broke out of the gates that connected to the sewer. It was All Might, again. To see just how weak Izuku really is.
"Because I am here,"
"TEXAS SMASH!"
Izuku began to cough and wheeze as Midna slapped him in the back of the head. All Might at him, as he cleaned up the Sludge Villain, putting him into empty bottles.
"Ah, I didn't think I would ever be saving you, Young Midoriya. I thought that we would've met sometime apart from this." He spoke,
Izuku picked up the Goddess Longsword, it's dirty and messy after getting slid on the ground. "All Might, I have something important to share with you,"
All Might let out a chuckle, his large muscles were shaking. "Funny that you would say that because I was hoping to run into you again, Young Midoriya. Be it fate or luck. Our meeting must mean that I was right."
"The roof then,"
When All Might jumped, the bottles escaped from All Might's pockets and began to roll away. They land on the roof, Izuku wondered if anyone heard them, someone with those elf ears, and long blonde hair looked up as she made her way towards the roof.
"All Might,"
"Young Midoriya,"
"I want you to take my power!" Izuku cried out, holding out the Goddess Longsword,
He didn't hear the door open, or perhaps it was always open. As the girl who stood in the fame narrowed her eyes, "Izuku?"
Princess Zelda stomped her way over to him. She is furious, with each step that she took, the Princess of Hyrule got close to him. Zelda lifted her hand, as she struck Izuku straight across the cheek.
His cheek was bright red, and tears began to roll down Zelda's eyes as she looked at him. "Does this mean nothing to you, does Hyrule mean nothing to you? Do I mean nothing to you? How about Fi, Ruto, or anyone else? Has this been nothing but a game?" She asked,
"I can't do it anymore. I'm scared alright. I can't be anything with Courage if I begin shaking in my boots when I see Ganon or Ghirahim. Likewise, I want to protect everyone, I love you, I love Fi, I love Ruto. But that's just me, and my feelings…"
Zelda didn't want him to finish, Izuku shut his eyes as he saw her raise her hand once again. He just was waiting for another slap for her. Before he knew it, her soft lips pressed up against his. His eyes open wide as Zelda pressed her lips against his.
He had no idea what to do. His brain has begun smoking. A girl is kissing him? Not just some random girl, but Zelda is kissing him!
She pulled back, "I told you, I love you before. That's why it hurts to see you like this, to see you hurt yourself,"
A cough caused the two young teenagers to look over at All Might, at least he wasn't out of time yet. The blood on his hand showed that he was getting close though, "Young Zelda already knows, but Young Midoriya, promise you won't share anything."
"I promise." Izuku nodded,
All Might, was no longer big and strong, in his stead is a weak and skinny old man.
Izuku couldn't believe what he was seeing. The once biggest and strongest man and hero that Izuku has ever known is now weak. Just skin and bones, his clothes were far baggy, and his eyes were almost dark. No one could see those blue eyes of his, Zelda nods her head, silently telling Izuku that this is All Might.
"What happened, All Might?" Izuku asked,
"Five years ago, after we first met. A villain did this to me," All Might spoke, his voice is much weaker now, and the proud and booming voice is at this moment gone.
A large mark is on his side, right where his stomach would be, "I know that everyone believes that I have no fear, but that smile hides my fear. I lost most of my stomach, meaning I can only use my Quirk for about three hours a day."
"Young Midoriya, only fools have no fear, I wanted to tell you something but right now, I don't think you're ready," All Might spoke, he walked past the two children
"Wait All Might, I'm…"
"I'm not the person you need to apologize to, so hold your tongue and bow to the person that you hurt." All Might words wounded the young Izuku Midoriya.
Zelda held on to Izuku's hand, "Never give up, learn from those mistakes, as long as you are still alive, then you can improve."
With that, All Might left walking down the stairs to the hospital, Izuku let go of Zelda's hand, his head was low. "Please, Fi. Forgive me, I'm nothing but an idiot and a fool,"
The light from the Goddess Longsword, as Fi stood in front of the bowing boy, his tears were hitting the ground.
"I don't deserve you, or Zelda. But I love you, Fi. I can't choose between you or Zelda or anyone else that I have feelings for."
Fi picked up his chin, the tears on his cheeks, as Fi pulled him into a kiss. It was short, but the small smirk on Fi's lips and the flustered face. Zelda let out a giggle at him.
"No one is asking you to pick just one, Hyrule laws are different from Japan's. It's rather common for most people to have more than one partner. Royalty would normally have two or even ten wives or husbands. Perhaps both."
"It was outlawed because people buying others, for their Quirk. Those were called Quirk Marriages, and the children of those wouldn't last long. Thanks to Quirk Poisoning. But it is really okay to date both you and Fi?" Izuku asked,
The door banged against the wall, was that thing busted, or did no one close it? Princess Ruto fuming at him. Wait, how much did she hear? Did she know about All Might, as Zelda does? Izuku began to sweat.
"I will not be third, fourth, or last place! Simpletons that are lower than me, you have already promised me your hand. Then you go and cheat on me?"
Izuku has no idea what is going on right now.
"Fine, I'll join, but only until you figure out that I am superior."
Izuku turned to Zelda, rather confused about what was even going on, "Ruto states she wants to date you too."
Ruto just nodded, Izuku lean forward, as Ruto stepped back.
"Incongruousness fool, it's not proper to just kiss a lady such like myself. One has to go through the established steps before one could taste my royal lips."
Ah, Ruto is just shy. As her face was rather flushed, "Zelda, I need the best person to help me train using a sword,"
"Impa lessons can be a bit dangerous for children. A lot of the men have trouble with her, she only had two students, myself and some other kid. But I can ask."
"Please, do. It is not my intention to hurt anyone else ever again." Izuku spoke, his eyes shining bright,
Somewhere in the alleys, rather close to the hospital that Izuku Midoriya is staying at. Might be on the other side of the building, the bottle that held the Sludge villain rolled. Then meeting with Bakugo Katsuki with his two followers. One of them was rather round, having wings growing out of his back. Because of his overweight size, he could only hover. Then the other one, he had long stretching fingers, thin, those fingers could only stretch for about a few centimeters.
The one with the wings held a box of cigarettes. Clearly stolen from somewhere, be it from his dad or just from a store. When the bottle hit Katsuki's foot, he kicked it to the wall, breaking the cap off the bottle. The sludge began to leak out, and form, all the while, Bakugo smacked them to the ground,
"Get the fuck out of here with that crap! I told you to not do that around me. If they catch me with the smell of liquor or smoke. Then I can't get into U.A!" Bakugo yelled, his hand blowing up the side of the brick wall.
"Well, well, well. A new human suit. With a powerful Quirk, you'll do nicely."
"You're allowed to go home now, Midoriya Izuku," Spoke Doctor Rino
A rather tall man, rather on the skinny side of things, Rino Toyotoki, is one of the best Doctors in the county, yet he worked here. It is rather weird seeing someone who didn't work out, but Izuku could only remember how All Might had looked when they talked on the rooftops.
"Everything is in order, the scar might be there for a while, though. It is hard to tell when one would start fading." Doctor Rino spoke, as he pushed up his glasses with his palm as if he wanted to avoid touching anything with his fingers.
It could relate to his Quirk, Izuku quickly thought, but he didn't want to go into more detail and ignore what else he said. "Understand that you got stitches, besides just having someone heal you,"
"What's the difference?" Izuku asked, scratching his head,
"Stitches cost less, someone with a healing Quirk is rare, there is only one in each hospital. Meaning that we are forced to have the cost rate higher. Yet, people have the choice." Doctor Rino explained,
"Princess Zelda decided to pay for you,"
Rubies were how Hyrule paid for things. They were their version of Yen. The only problem, a Green Ruby over in Hyrule is one dollar. In Japan, it's 1,802,603,000 Yen, for One Single Green Ruby. (A/N: Using Game Theory: Zelda Rubies Theory, the total they got for the green Ruby is 13,492,448.92, but that video was in 2015, so don't whine at me, this is just a joke.)
Seeing how the real total would ruin the world, one green ruby is merely five hundred yen. The headache was caused, so the county wouldn't fall into bankruptcy by just a single green ruby. While a Golden Ruby that is worth three hundred in Hyrule is about close to a million Yen, seeing how it is gold coloring.
Zelda held on to Izuku's left hand, while Ruto took his right hand. Hand holding in public without any protection.
"I'm not fine with this, it just feels wrong. I want everyone to be happy, and I do love each of you. But is sharing the best choice?" Izuku asked,
"Hmm… It's hard to say what's right and what's wrong when there are two different places you need to be. Currently, Izuku. You are at the top of being wed to me and Ruto, meaning you are allowed to have more than one partner according to Hyrule Laws."
"Things only get intricate if girls from Japan decide to fall in love with you and decide to become your girlfriend. That would mean Hyrule Laws would no longer hold up, and people will get upset." Ruto spoke,
BOOM!
That was a loud explosion. It rang in Ruto's ears, as she started to cling to her new boyfriend. Even sticking out her tongue towards Zelda, something in Hyrule Princess thinks that this wasn't an accident.
But that explosion was deafening. And could be heard from blocks away, someone with a powerful Quirk must have caused it. The battle and smoke, that rises to the clear sky, showed that it was taking place close to the hospital.
They all ran there, as fast as their legs to carry them, Ruto and Zelda were chasing after Izuku. As he stopped, his eyes widened, seeing the Sludge Villain free, mutters and rumors spread, and no one was doing anything.
Someone is in there, and all the heroes could do is stay back because the person trapped is making too much of a mess.
This is all Izuku's fault. The Sludge Villain, he could've taken him out, as powerful as a Chuchu. Was All Might even here, watching all of this?
'Only fools have no fear' All Might's words echo in his head.
If no one else would.
'All wise men fear battle.'
His friend, Katsuki Bakugo, is in trouble. Being a hero doesn't mean you get to pick who you save and who you don't.
'Only fools rush fearlessly into a fight.'
Did Zelda and Ruto cry out his name? He couldn't or choose not to hear their screams as Izuku ran towards the Sludge Villain, he was shaking, but he continued to run.
'The true warrior is not he who feels no fear, but he who conquers fear.'
The Goddess Longsword slice through the Sludge Villain allowing Bakugo to breathe once again, the Sludge Villain let out a growl, as All Might, could only stand back and watch.
"Kacchan!" Izuku cried out,
Katsuki hasn't heard Midoriya call him that in a long time.
"I couldn't stand back and watch you die. I'm no longer going to hide my fears, but fight them head-on."
"You damn kid, that hurt!" The Sludge Villain cried out,
Izuku's left hand began to glow, and Zelda could only smirk. The symbol of Courage, the Triforce of Courage, finally appeared on his left hand and began to shine. Even blinding the Sludge Villain and Katsuki, the surrounding fire created by Bakugo's Quirk stopped anyone from getting closer.
Yet, it didn't stop All Might from bulking up, powering up One for All even past his limit.
"I'm nothing more than a hypocrite."
"Allowing a young hero such as you to do something and teach me that I'm just an old fool. A mark of a true hero is to go past your limits and face your fears!" All Might begin to speak.
His body is smoking, that can't be good.
"Delaware Smash!"
With a powerful punch, it pulled Izuku and Bakugo away, right when his fist hit the Sludge Villain. The villain without a name cursed out All Might's name. A raindrop hit Izuku's forehead, as All Might's powerful Delaware Smash changed the weather.
"You damn kid, what the hell were you thinking!" Death Arms cried out,
Zelda was about to speak up until Death Arms pushed Izuku out of the way to lean over to glare at Bakugo.
"You are such an idiot. If it wasn't for you overusing your Quirk, we could've saved you, and you wouldn't have to recuse by a kid. If you're acting like this, perhaps wait a year and get that temper under control, before even thinking of going into a hero school." Death Arms yelled at Bakugo
"And you, don't do something like that again. Not until you get into U.A, when internships come up, I'll love to have you."
Izuku couldn't believe that the heroes were praising him, he was still shaking about that, he was alone now. Zelda left with Ruto to go back to Hyrule, and to get Impa to start teaching Izuku as the sun started to set.
"Deku!" Bakugo cried out,
Izuku looked at his childhood friend, he stood tall, Midoriya is afraid, but he will face it head-on. Not hiding behind Fi or anyone else.
"Katsuki, I'm standing up for myself. I'm the Legendary Hero of Hyrule. I will become that man one day and the top-ranked hero. Not only that, but I just hope that you grow up soon." Izuku stared at him.
"Grow up? Piss off, you just got in the way, if only I had a sword like that," Bakugo slugged himself away.
A loud slide passed, as All Might slid right in front of Izuku. "Ah, All Might, how did you get past all those reporters,"
"Because I am…" A cough there and smoke, All Might is now back in his true form again.
"I said to you on the roof, I wanted to tell you something. Now is the perfect time to share it with you."
"Midoriya Izuku, I have chosen you to become my successor, you're the worthy one to inherit my strength"
"Huh?" Izuku's face is blank and shocked.
"It's my Quirk, kid, ever since I first met you. Something has been telling me that you were the right one for my Quirk. This power can be passed down, from person to person. Becoming stronger each time. There are eight holders, with me being number eight, and the name is One for All."
"All Might, I will work to take your power. I want to protect all those close to me."
All Might let out a laugh, "Kid, when I'm in this form, it's best to call me Yagi, that way the whole neighborhood doesn't find out my secret."
"Right, right, sorry. All, I mean Yagi." Midoriya rapid-fire those words out of his mouth as he started bowing to the man.
Yagi Toshinori shook his head, this might take a while to get used to. "Wait, I almost forgot. Zelda's Advisor, Impa is meant to teach me about swords and weapons."
"Calm down, kid. Just send a message to Young Zelda, when you get home, I want to meet you on Dagobah Beach, at 08:00 hours on the dot."
"Right, thank you, All- I mean, Yagi-Sensei." Izuku spoke, before running back home, to message Zelda about the change.
"Wait," Izuku stopped in his tracks, his feet sliding across the ground, All Might looked at the young boy.
"Can I tell Zelda?" Izuku asked,
"She already knows, but no one must," Toshinori explained
"I mean Fi does, and there's Farore, and then there is Midna she's been listening to. I wouldn't be surprised if this Quirk is all about Power. That means that Din knows and if Din knows, that means Ganon could know about it too. If Zelda knows, then Nayru does… All- I mean, Yagi-Sensei, do you not know how to keep a secret?"
That one hurt. It is true that more people learned about One for All from him than any of the other seen holders. His Master only trusted two people, Yagi and Gran Torino. But this might just be the biggest record that people knew about One for All, well, as long as they don't know how to pass it on.
Unknown Location,
"Power… Power… I need… More power…" Ganon's voice is broken, he found it hard to speak.
The Triforce of Power was losing some of its golden glow, as Din appeared, looking at the man who is her Master. Ghirahim, Zant, Yuga, Wizzro, Agahnim.
"Hey, G-Dawg. Yuga, Agahnim, haven't seen you two in forever. How you been?" Din asked, wrapping her arm around Yuga.
"Come here buddy, look how cute you are. Who wants to put people in paintings? You do, yes you do." Din mocked him, even pitching his cheeks.
"Din, enough… Give me… More… Power… All of it…" Ganon spoke.
"No way José. Sorry, G. But there's a reason why we limit the power the chosen ones draw from each piece of the Triforce. Having that much power running through your veins might make your whole body explode. Death would be the least painful way to go." Din explained,
"I gave you… An order…"
"Did you miss the part where I said that it would kill you? Look G-Dog, I don't like you as my Chosen One, soon The Hero of Legend will fill in the role of Power better than you. But I can't leave,"
Leave. Ganon would smirk if he could smirk.
"Then… I release… You from the… Triforce and my… Body." Ganon spoke,
Din's eyes widen, "Hold the phone, back up. You know what that means, right? I would be as weak as a kitten, your body can't handle all that Power. You have only tasted drops and can barely hand more than a third of a cup. Think this through, G-Dog," Din held her hands up, backing away.
"You… Heard me… I release you… Din."
Din let out a huff. "Fine then," A snap from her fingers, and a golden chain appeared from Din's body to Ganon's.
She needed to make sure that he didn't kill himself. Din might not like him as her Chosen One, but he still is, and until the day Ganon finally dies, then Din can stop protecting him. The chain broke as Din fell to the ground.
She is just as strong as a Quirkless human right now. Red flames and dust took her away, her magic is much weaker, as Ganon's flesh began to form on his bones. Soon, The Hero will be dead, and the Triforce will belong to him!
End of Chapter
Next Time: One for All ~ Part 2
A/N: This kind of sucks, I've been going through something, whenever I start a chapter, I get like 3,00 words in and it sucks and I have to re-write the entire thing. Like with that RWBY Story that I'm made or what happened with Mr. Midoriya, I wrote the second and third chapter it was trash and so it went away.
I guess it also doesn't help that the same seven people comment on this, I don't think it's writers' block, it's just ugh, I explained all of this in My Beacon Academia Author Notes, "I know I'm not a good writer, and when I see people who are it makes me feel like I could become one of them. Then some of those authors' works turn out to become parodies of themselves and badly written."
I say this, but then I write a 10,000-word chapter, that I posting far too early. Seeing how The Sheikah Trial is just a bunch of fights, which is really going to highlight be just being a bad writer.
